Bold Thai flavors SMASHED into burgers, sandos, fries and shakes!
Good burger spot. Small, simple interior with limited seating. Also a small front patio area. The burger meets the hype. Nice smash patty. Great mix of flavors. Really liked the mint and herb sauce. The shoestring fries are pretty standard. Would definitely come back to try more.
Service was good. Street meter parking up and down the block.
Interesting burger place with a Thai twist. I got the grapow smash burger with a pandan shake.
Although the burger was a bit small, I don't recall any complaints while eating it. Tasted great with the Thai spice blend and the egg was a nice touch too. The shake was alright though I forgot it was pandan if it wasn't for the pieces added on top.
We ordered the wagyu labb smash and satay katsu sando. I loved the labb seasoning on the burger but they over salted our patty. The satay katsu sando was good, the chicken was extremely juicy and the bread was perfectly toasted. The satay sauce was just missing something. Overall solid spot with an interesting twist on the traditional burger.
I felt like I was BEING ROBBED after eating here! I went here with my girlfriend and I ordered the wagyu burger and she ordered the socal and the only difference was habanero paste for an extra $4!!! The burgers were greasy only came with a few cucumbers? and onions and tasted like in and out burgers and didn’t come with fries in total I spent over $30 dollars for two of the thinnest burgers with one side of fries and we left still hungry. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Ordered ahead on my way back home from LAX, was not disappointed. Food was so fresh and tasty, the perfect balance of cheeseburger goodness with a Thai flair. We had the Grapow and So Cali Classic as well as sweet potato fries with curry ketchup. Literally everything was delicious and well made. I will make this my to go whenever I’m in the area.
Very good burger and fries! I’m intrigued by the other items on the menu. I’ll be back.
Friendly staff and great service. I really enjoyed my meal.
Thai burgers are great! Highly recommend the Krapow 🍔
My husband and I got the Wagyu Laab and Grapow burger with shoestring fries. It was great and we finished it all in one sitting. Not too big or heavy, but hearty enough. I’m a weakling for spice (normal sriracha is spicy for me) and this was definitely a great combo of spicy and savory. This will now be one of our go to spots.
Amazing burger and excellent staff! Highly recommended!
It was just alright, food was ok. Very tiny spot with limited seating.
great vibes in a small location. The pack a lot of flavor into each menu item. I ordered pickup and got the grapow smash, panang chicken sando, coconut shake and shoestring 🍟
coconut was creamy and delicious 4/5 sando was hitters 5/5 burger just spicy enough and delicious 5/5 shoestring were amazing.
Def new spot. prices are a bit high but I think it's worth the trip.
Second visit just as delicious as previous but this time round instead of the chicken sando got the Krabby Patty and papaya fries totally radical the burger recipe is sumptuous

Best burger in LA! Heavy handed, hi-ho, Apple pan, and Father’s office call are all great in their own way but Ban Ban is in a class of its own!!! The staff is so kind, they had a great selection of beer, and the sweet potato fries were perfect. We got t grapow burgers:) 🍔
Excellent and unique take on smash burgers and the shoe string fries with the curry ketchup ( so good). Highly recommend!!!
Probably my third favorite burger in LA. The Thai flavors are such an adventure on these American classics. The chicken sando is incredible!! You are not ready for how good this is. I love the burger too. The milkshake was a bit more milk than shake so I may not get it again. The main thing here is the burger and chicken sando.
I try to give places credit for trying fusion! However, I did not end up liking the Wagyu Laab Smash. It was lacking the spicy, herbal, citrusy, fresh element of laab almost entirely. Instead they use a herb paste reminiscent of Indian green chutney which is a totally different flavor profile. Maybe some kind of laab-inspired slaw is in order? Seasoned fries were good and it’s a cute place overall.
So good! I tried the waygu one at it was DELISH!
Excellent flavors and quality, highly recommend the panang fried chicken sandwich. The wagyu smash burger was also delicious!
Panang chicken sandwich highly recommend!!!
One of the best smash burgers on the Westside and that’s saying something. I definitely recommend it.
Excellent Thai smash burgers in a cool little pop up. The Thai flavors really work well with the smash burgers. Great shoestring fries. Pandan milkshakes. Very welcoming staff. First rate .
Super overpriced, food is mediocre. Paid over $20 for a single burger with no fries and a small drink.
The food is great and the patio is charming on a warm day (of which Los Angeles has many), but will admit I'm not enough of a fan of smash burgers to super duper rave about it.
Run don't walk here. The smashie is incredible with its thai flair and the chicken sando is equally as good. Will definitely be back!
The flavors are everything you didn’t know you wanted. So good.
Really cute fun place with amazing Thai burgers. I unfortunately read the menu in terms that all fries come with the laab powder, but I sadly did not get any on my shoestring fries
Great experience here. I have a lot of allergies and they were very patient. The customer service here is great and the smash burger is even better! The concept is creative, too!
Great food and awesome concept! The grapow smash and curry ketchup was excellent. I’ll be coming back. :)
seriously SO GOOD. I came at a weird time, so my food was ready within 5 minutes. Grapow burger was stellar. Well seasoned, cucumbers were refreshing, and the patty was delicious too. I plan on coming back to try other things on the menu.
Thai burger eah?
I really wanted to like this place and had high expectation since the menu items looked so good.
We ordered Grapow smash(double), Panang Fried chicken Sando and Laab Fries.
Grapow smash: even with double patty it was still on the smaller side, and flavor left a lot to be desired, a good burger but unfortunately we didn’t taste any Thai fusion as menu has described
Panang fried chicken sando: Size was bigger than the burger but not $16 worth, flavor again lack of Panang curry flavor, I didn’t even taste the Fresno pepper, and the Thai pickle was just very lightly picked, very much just a fresh cucumber, and the Japanese bread they served it in, really was not great and hard to eat.
Lastly, the Laab fries, while I do not know what Laab powder is, I certainly did see or taste it on my fries, they also didn’t give us the curry ketchup so this is no different than your regular string fries.
Overall, I think this place has potential but unfortunately they were able to execute with our order.
Delicious 😋
I don't usually go out of my way for a smash burger because, in my opinion, they're too small (not thin, I don't mind the intended thinness of a smash burger). However, these burgers are packed with flavor. The spices used really differentiate the taste of each burger for a unique smash burger experience, and the mint sauce on the wagyu laab is delicious.
Some idiot gave them 2/5 and said the burgers were thin and tasted like In-N-Out. They're smash burgers, which are meant to be thin in order to get seared/crispy edges, and if you think these burgers (with different Thai spices and unique sauces) taste at all like an In-N-Out burger then you're opinion is absolutely meaningless.
Interesting burger place with a Thai twist. I got the grapow smash burger with a pandan shake.

I’ve tried a ton of smash burgers around town. Some good, some disappointing. I honestly expected ban ban to be average, but it ruled. Great burger, really tasty skinny fries. I’ll be getting it again
This place was shockingly good. Jumped to my top 3 favorite burgers in LA.
Staff is friendly and kind.
Patties are delicate, bun is good quality, and the flavors of the gra pow were bold and satisfying. My only suggestion would be to add more of a basil flavor. Regardless, this is a top burger spot and I would highly recommend it.

that was basically innout burger quality for a ridiculous price. my burger was tiny and they dont come with fries even so i left the restaurant hungry and annoyed.
Low key, one of the best chicken sandos i have ever had. I'm struggling to think of a better one... I'm sure there's a better chicken somewhere but idk. The bread, the sauce, the vegetables, the chicken, everything in it is on point.
🔥🔥🔥
Note: street parking only.
The grapow burger is 10/10. If you like Thai food and smash burgers this is a must try.
I haven't had a more unique and interesting burger experience than here. It's a little pricey, but that's usually the case with smash burgers, and these are especially special. The food is super flavorful and fresh.
The business is very small, and seating can get cramped—both inside and outside. It's an issue when things get super busy and lots of people are around.
I also noticed that if you order dine-in, they bring out the food in very staggered intervals. Not optimal for eating at the same time as your friends and family.
Besides the relatively long wait and seating situation, I would definitely recommend coming and at least trying once. I am coming again to try more of the menu. I tried the grapow smash, wagyu laab smash, and panang chicken sando. All were tasty, but I would say the grapow and panang were better than the laab. Also, for my fellow low-spice tolerance people, the food wasn't as spicy as I was expecting. I would say it's a slight warmth at most.
Food was absolutely delicious and fresh! They were pretty busy around 6:30pm on a Friday so food took a bit to come out but not a problem. Seating inside and outside. Street parking
Flavorful, unique, and delicious!! This is peak fusion food. Not to mention a really nice staff, and super clean and cute interior.
We got the Panang Chicken sando and the Laab burger. The chicken sandwich was SO good and the burger was super unique flavors but still really good!
The Thai Fried Chicken Sando offers an intriguing fusion of Thai flavors in a fried chicken sandwich. The bread is pleasingly soft, while the chicken boasts a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The sauce imparts a delightful hint of Tom Yum essence. It's a combination worth sampling for those seeking a unique twist on a classic.
;)
The burgers are banger, but kinda pricey for the amount of food you’re getting.
Food is amazing. So flavorful. Server was extremely helpful with choosing of dishes and very friendly.
The chicken was good but very overpriced. Also do not eat here if you are allergic to TreeNuts or Peanuts. While the menu items themselves do not contain nuts the kitchen has extreme cross-contamination issues that they do not sufficiently publicize.
