That’s what we would had left anyway but I know that this can come as a surprise to others. So just sharing as an FYI.

I ordered boat noodle with big flat noodle. Beef was tender and soup is on sweet side. Spicy level was mild, I added vinegar to help with sweet side. It is not traditional boat noodle, more like beef noodle. We ordered R shrimps, crispy and tender shrimps, not too salty. My nephew said pad thai sauce is good but he said noodle is too thin. Service was good.

It is located in a strip mall. This place has lots of free parking spaces. Nice and cozy place. Good spot for comfort dining. Not a place for big groups. In an area worth lots of Thai restaurants, this place is on the top three.

This place was amazing! From the great positive flow of energy and beautiful decorations come the BEST of all, the food. The R Thai Shrimp is a MUST when you visit. It was a great pleasure to meet Marlee as she suggested some great options. I will be back again to try everything else of their menu and to say Hi to Marlee! You will not be disappointed!

We had a great lunch here. Ordered R Thai sampler, Crab fried rice and three flavor fish. Food was yummy and good service.

I tried the salted fish fried rice and it wasn't what I expected. I even asked the server if the fish was fried crispy because that's what I wanted. He replied "I think so". Pet peeve, as a server you should be able to intelligently and accurately answer questions about the food. Well the fish was not crispy, it was more of a paste that is very salty and I didn't really enjoy it. I wouldn't mind trying something else but this one was a "no go" for me. This is some of the best Vegetarian Thai Food I have ever had... You have to try the Vegetable Drunken Noodles with Medium Spice and the Sweet and Sour Mock Chicken with steamed Rice...Yummmmmm

Excellent Panang Curry!!

First of, we came at the last hour of the day. The receptionist politely informed us that they are closing. He sat us down and took our order. The chefs made our food quickly BUT still w/all the authenticity of the food. I knew from the first bite that the food was made by a Thai chef. Everything tasted authentic! The somtam, Tom kha gai, and the Kao neaw mamuang are amazing! Khap khun mak na kha !

Just came from there with my Thai wife. The Farang server asked what kind of noodles she wanted in English. She didn't understand. We asked to speak with someone who speaks Thai and he said the people who speak Thai there were too busy to come out of the back and translate. I figured if they could not bother them their food wasn't probably going to be anything like real Thai food. Crappy customer service. It's amazing how undervalued the customer is these days.

Food was very bland, very expensive for the small portion size. It used to be good when the restaurant initially started but it degraded now. We tried a couple of times lately and We will not go back anymore. It's not worth it. There are other good restaurants around.

The Tom Kha and Chicken Satay here are delicious aroi mak ma! There’s an ample parking space. The food are expensive so even though I want to come here often I go somewhere else. FYI Theres an automatic 18% service charge even for one person. The staff are friendly. Try this place and you will like the food.

I dont normally post reviews and have enjoyed going here these past few years but recently the pad see ew ive been getting have burnt egg shells or these random wierd black pieces. Not sure what is going on with this restaurant nowadays pretty disappointing for 17 bucks

Delicious food, kind people, good price

Excellent foods and services. Open on Monday when other Asian restaurants are normally closed. Closed on Tuesday when others are open. Great Pad See Whee Noodle dish. Salted fish fried rice is the best. Tom Yum soup is good. Iced coffee is good too. Fish needs stronger sauce though I like the Pompano- need to let the chef knows. The chef can still fix it if the fish sauce comes out not quite right? Because the fish has to have a good sauce. Provided you want just a dipping sauce. The fried pompano is fresh and great.

I go to this location 3xs a month the food is constantly fresh and good customer service don't let the small size fool you!!!

R Thai has a great selection of all very tasty food. That being said, compared to other places close by, the pricing of 15 dollars a dish and the much smaller curry sizes make this place a 3. If you do not care about those things then it is a 4 star review based off quality and flavor of food. I recommend getting the red curry

Good food, good prices, friendly staff.

This smaller restaurant packed so much flavor in their dishes. The Tom Kha was steaming hot and packed with veggies. The curries were amazing and had layers of flavor. Prices I thought were a bit steep (no appetizers under 10$) but we enjoyed our meal. The server was very kind and accommodating to our requests.

They have imitation crab in their crab fried rice. The menu says its real crab. It was real but they mixed imitation crab in there too.

Have not had the food but ordered thai tea and the sticky rice. Tea was a bit pricey but the dessert was fabulous.

A nice hidden gem. I came here not sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Their milk tea and thai ice lemonade is a must try and is unique to this place. I recommend coming to try it out if you are ever in the area.

Everything was good except the papaya salad was really bummed. Been craving for thai papaya salad. It tasted really plain. I had to fix it up in my kitchen. If your craving papaya salad don't order here will be disappointed but everything else is good 👍

I called for online order today. The guy told me wait time was 45 mins. Then when I called after almost 40 mins for order updates, he told me to wait for 1 hr and 30 mins. And then when I showed dissatisfaction and asked if this is their regular practice for phone orders and that I should not order from them in future. The guy on the phone told me not to order from here anymore, as this is "what they do". He wasted my time and didn't fulfill my order either. Would never call to get food from this place.

Spring rolls are delicious and freshly made. Nice soups. Thai iced tea is nice and on the less sweet side. Also made to order. Friendly folks who work there. Usually not too busy but not dead.

My preferred Thai restaurant in the area, and there are plenty of options to choose from. Great flavor, friendly service, reasonable prices/portion sizes. Some of my Thai friends have vouched for this place as well. It is a small restaurant with limited seating, and just note that during peak hours on weekends wait times for both dine-in and take-out can be long.

The food was excellent with large portions. The sweet & sour chicken was wonderful. And the mango sticky rice was perfect!

First time going to this spot, we were driving down from Big Bear. It is small but they accommodated all 14 of us. And the food was delightfully yummy. If we were to live in the area that would be the spot to go to for Thai. Thank you R Thai for feeding us

Loma Linda seems to be blessed with about two Thai restaurant every block. When yet another Thai restaurant popped up next to A Dong I didn’t even give it a second look. A couple years later and the restaurant changed its name and changed from serving small $5 plates to serving dishes like every other Thai restaurant. The food and service are great, and I was able to try the pad Thai, pat see ew, and parang curry. Classic flavors and competitive prices.

I had the beef pad thai Medium spicy. I added pickled peppers on top and boy... it got me sweating like a dog. It was quite delicious. Noodles was cooked perfectly, and the seasoning was full of flavor.

There's a lot of thai places in this area, this is probably one of the better ones. Flavors are strong and also their spice condiments taste good if you like spicy. The restaurant is kinda small so it's often filled but not too long of a wait. Prices are pretty average. Would recommend.
