Solid Thai restaurant, really hopping on a Friday evening! Partner and I were seated immediately before 6pm but there was a 30 min wait because of their backlog of to go orders. Choose a less busy time if you have a party over 4 people, there aren’t many tables available.
We ordered
* red Thai curry with pork
* small side of rice
* pho noodles with beef.
The small rice was $2 and a great portion! The curry was good, but it didn’t taste special and I didn’t like the giant zucchini chunks lol. The pho was surprisingly decent, especially after poor experiences with several Elk Grove Vietnamese places! Didn’t even know pho was a Thai thing too?
Mango sticky rice for dessert. This was my first time trying it and I thought it was plenty to share and tasty! I’m a sucker for heart shaped molds lol. It’s coated in this nice syrup/glaze that tastes like coconut. It wasn’t overly sweet! I think more of the syrup on the plate as an option would be best.
Check my pictures for 2024 updated menu prices! It’s not super cheap but everything seemed pretty reasonable. I may return again. 4 stars is because nothing tasted that impressive, it was just good. I like Thai spice better, but that was from one try like a year ago, so I’ll have to check it out again for fair comparison.
They also have signs everywhere about an extra 3.9% charge for credit cards, so bring cash! We enjoyed the service as well.
The pad Thai was alright but I had really bad service.
I came to eat in around 5:45 pm (pretty empty) by myself and no one seated me or gave me a menu. After a couple minutes I went up to someone behind the bar counter and asked for a table and they said sit anywhere. I did that, and they took a few more minutes to even bring me a menu or water. Not sure what happened there, maybe they were overlooking me for a bigger group/bigger tip.
I also asked for no bean sprouts and there were bean sprouts in my pad Thai. What if I was allergic? And my “hot tea” wasn’t even lukewarm.
This place is legit!! All the waitresses were very nice and even let us split our check even though we were a large group. They filled our water glasses very often. WARNING: The spice levels are no joke. People at our table ordered the 2nd hottest spice level and felt it was extremely hot. The egg rolls were excellent. The pho was also VERY tasty. The broth had a great flavor. I would highly recommend this place if you want real Thai food and delicious pho.
The BBQ Pork with Rice lunch dish that I had is deserving of 5 stars. The flavor was amazing! The salad that came with it was fresh with an extremely tasty dressing.
I ordered Thai Ice Coffee too. It was also delicious and served in a pint glass!
I dined in and though Thai Kitchen has an interesting space, it is a bit rough around the edges. That is why I reduced their rating to 4 stars. 5 plus for the food I enjoyed and less than 4 due to wear and tear.
The staff I encountered were nice. My food order was served quickly-but by no means rushed.
Quite a few folks came in to pick up their to go orders.
For the wonderful flavor of the food I had and the large portion, it was an incredible value. My lunch plus drink was $10 and change. Amazing!
Eat here. It is truly delicious. If rough around the edges appearance bothers you, just get take out.
Me? I’m good either way. Hoping I can return and try another dish!
This is the best place for a quick lunch. No waiting, no useless talking. You take a sit and the waiter comes to you with free glass of water and the menu. You order your food (about $7 for a lunch meal) and within 5 minutes you get your TASTY meal + soup or salad. I wish all places were like that!
The service and food was good but cleanliness was poor thus the 2 stars. Now the Real Reason for low rate was the add on 3.99% charge on all cards payment which California passed a bill to make these charges illegal 2024. Worst thing is, receipt doesn't show the detail of that surcharge. Just because the restaurant posted it, that does not make it legal. Do not allow them to keep ripping us off.
Wonderful teriyaki salmon

I enjoy the food
Best Thai Basil Fried Rice in town. Vegan options are awesome.
I have two favorite Lodi eating establishments and they are literally next door to each other. I love the Tom Kha soup, and garlic fried Noodles. Super friendly
Lil quaint messy food fair
So good!!!
Food Amazing everytime
Love their coconut shrimp, satay chicken, beef soup, mango sticky rice, & Thai tea 😁😁😁 our favorite Thai by far!!
I'm usually picky but when it comes to this small family own restaurant it is amazing! The amount of food they serve and for the prize is unbelievable. Other Thai or pho restaurants are overrated and this needs to be grown and much better. I'm mexican so I approve lol

Definitely the best Thai food in Lodi. I got the chicken pad thai, beef see ew., chicken yellow curry and garlic noodles. All of it was absolutely delish!
Don't order from here. They will charge you double for things that you don't receive. They are rude and have bad customer service.
The good: Large portions. The bad: flavors not high quality and " watered down ". Pad Thai noodles mushy and weaky spiced. Eggplant cooked well but spices taste like chili powder (not Thai). Udon soup lacked flavor - watered down broth and noodles. Dipping sauces were very watered down and thin. Although the food is for the most part fresh the crisp, sweet and spicy traditional flavors aren't right.
Really yummy pad thai, cashew chicken, and thai tea. Pad thai was made with extra skinny noodles which in my opinion made it extra tasty and the cashew chicken sauce was flavorful (and there was a lot of it). Our server was very attentive and had a great memory (we needed to order to go at the end of our dine in and she was on it). Look forward to meeting more friends for lunch here!
Excellent food and service
I ordered to go and the staff included everything needed to complete our experience. We had the chicken, beef, and prawn Pho along with Pad See Ew and let's just say it exceeded our expectations. We will be back! Thank you for a delicious and enjoyable lunch today.
This is the best hole in the wall thi restaurant. Very small dine-in area but absolutely best food recommend to pick-up. Waiter was polite and gave great service! Returning most definitely.
03/02/2024. This was the first time I have tried Thai food. I picked up orders of Pad Broccoli, Garlic Noodle, Avocado Salad, Satay Chicken, and Egg Rolls. Everything was very good. The Pad Broccoli had a lot of vegetables. The Garlic Noodle, I thought could have had more noodles. The Avocado Salad had a good number of avocados slices. Next time I might need to double order the Satay Chicken and Egg Rolls. I would like to try other things next time, but I am not sure what some of the stuff is. The dining area looked small. The customer service was good and friendly. The spicy hot oil was very hot, and I will not be using that the next time.
Me and my wife always get food from here. Its super delicious and customer service is always great. The drunken noodles are sooo good.. all there food is good. Stop by and try it.
The best thai food in the city of Lodi imo. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to have them pick up their phone to get an order of food in but it's always worth the effort. Great food!
We were here 10 years ago and we visited last week again.now that my sister lives in town. So glad we're back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Best thai restaurant in Lodi
Excellent food. Space is very limited.
Best Thai food around.
Small place but awesome food and good place for pho and Thai tea...staff is very respectful and very polite and quick.. recommend this place for anyone that loves good Thai food....5 star place
delicious
If you're a person that's all about customer service, this is not the place to go. Very small inside, servers look as if they aren't happy to be there, I got the beef noodle and was decent.
This is a hidden gem in Lodi. Inside is some of the best Thai food and very reasonably priced with good portions.
We ordered Pad See EW and Pad Kee Mao with chicken through Uber Eats for pickup, and went to the restaurant only to find that my order was cancelled by the restaurant. The restaurant said they never received the order, so not sure whose issue was that. But regardless, I was able to place the order in the restaurant and they prepared it quickly.
The food was flavorful and spicy. We ordered medium spice level which was almost at the tolerance level.
However Pad Kee Mao has very less chicken.
My only other main concern was the 3.99 (can't remember if it was percentage or flat dollar) fee for paying with card, which should be criminal by now. It's understandable for a small amount of order but doesn't make sense for bigger amount.
Great food. Family owned and operated. Their salad is addicting and it gets better!
Best thai food in the area!
Love eating here the food is fire and completely reasonable. Wait is short and sweet.
This cozy restaurant is off the main street is not bad.
I tell myself different regions of Thailand have their different styles of cooking.
That being said, Thai Kitchen is good. Subtle flavors - ask for the condiment tray to kick up the flavors on the dishes.
The coconut shrimp was the best I've ever had in a long time
Loved this place! Had the green mango salad and pad thai to go - both were packed with flavor. If I lived in Lodi, I’d eat here every week!
Great food and service! Especially great vegetarian options without fish sauce — the tom yum soup, panang curry, and pad see ew were all delicious!
We're from the bay area and this Thai food is delicious. The young lady who runs the phone and register is always kind and efficient. This is about our 8th time getting take out for dinner and the good is always consistent. The gra poa chicken, garlic chicken and shrimp fried rice is bomb. The sauce on them is perfect and the spicy oil sauce they give is so hot and spicy but perfect to add to any of it. Can't forget the sticky rice. It comes in a to go plastic sandwich bag but don't let it fool you, it's home style and the perfect addition every time.
It's Lodis hidden gem for sure, Tucked away in downtown. Limit3d seating, it's small inside. If there is a wait, I promise it's worth it. The food is outstanding and tasty. The service is always excellent. Highly recommend!!!
Very kind staff with quality food. Many vegetarian and vegan options available.
Best Tai in Lodi hands down. The food is amazing and the service is always the best.
Very good👍and not a long wait for our food. I live a 1 1/2 away but would drive to eat there again.
Great "hole in the wall" Thai food restaurant.
V
A hidden little gem with plentiful, tasty and inexpensive Thai food!
Basil fried rice is very good. I was going to give a 4 star but decided to give 5 because they actually cut shrimp tails off before putting it in your rice if you ask.
Chicken soup and spring rolls are a must try.
Inside is too small for me so i usually get take out. Always on point.
Chicken Noodle Soup is so so good. it's the perfect time for it with the weather changing.
Great food, did take small dining room.
Highly recommend if want Thai food
Everything is delicious
The food is tasteful
Had the BBQ pork lunch. Good food and friendly service. Looking forward to returning.
Amazing food and always great service. Been going here for almost 5 years now
Had yummy lunch
I love the food! Just to warm you. Only take out only!
This is the BEST Thai food in town. I recommend it all the time and people get hooked on them.
No dine in.
⚠️ DO NOT EAT HERE!!! ⚠️
My whole family has been sick for 3 days now vomiting...etc 🤮
Just a warning so you don’t have to go through the same thing we are
Authentic. Yummy. Worth the stop
Muy rico, recomendado 👌
Food was absolutely delicious. Authentic Thai food at it's best.
Best Thai food around!!!
One of the best places to get Pad Thai in the county. I tried various spots in Stockton, and nothing competes with Thai Kitchen. Tastes great and they have generous portion sizes.
The Pho was delicious and the service was awesome super nice guy definitely will be going back
Mushy
The beef pho is soooo delicious!!!!
Mask requirement and ended up going next door to the Mexican Restaurant.
The shrimp salad was bomb
Oh my gosh I love this place I am a very strict vegetarian this is one of the very few places that I would trust to make my food and the nice part is they also make meat for my husband the staff are always so friendly and outgoing and the food is always delicious!!!
I love coming to this place after I get off of for a quick but amazing dinner. Due to COVID-19, dine-in isn't allowed at this place as they only have a handful of tables available. This doesn't stop us from returning. The pad thai is amazing... thai tea is yummy. Mango shrimp is really good. Great service as well. Definitely will be back.
this food was bad. the meat was dry as leather and tasted just as bad.the truth is I took three bites an the throw away the rest.
Best food hands down and amazing customer service. We drive 45 mins to come eat this amazing food!
LOVE their chicken fried rice.
We've always had great tasting food...either take out or dine in, and the customer service (where they know you and great you with a smile😊) is top notch!
I've been coming here for a long time and have always had great service and the food is always delicious. The shrimp drunken noodle is my favorite.
If you happen to go here pleaseee try the Thai Iced Tea!! It is the best Thai Tea I have ever tried. Perfect flavor and very good price!
Great customer service and amazing pho!
Definitely the worst Tom Kha in my life. Looks like they just put water with coconut milk. I rather drive more to go to Thai Spices next time.
Just found this place and it is my new favorite Thai food in town. Hands down the best.
Best Thai Food!! You will not be disappointed.
Hole in the wall. Excellent food. Nice people.
Always great food And customer service
Excellent food, just very small restaurant. The food makes up for the size. Delish!
Awesome food and awesome service!
Awsome food, good price, good portions, small place
This place is legit!! All the waitresses were very nice and even let us split our check even though we were a large group. They filled our water glasses very often. WARNING: The spice levels are no joke. People at our table ordered the 2nd hottest spice level and felt it was extremely hot. The egg rolls were excellent. The pho was also VERY tasty. The broth had a great flavor. I would highly recommend this place if you want real Thai food and delicious pho.
Thai kitchen have one of the best egg rolls
Great food
Great This food with wonderful service.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Lodi. I don't care that it is on a sketchy side of town or that it is really small. Though the area is not pleasing, but when you first walk in, you know that your food is going to taste great, just by the wonderful smell! I personally recommend the egg rolls, chicken noodle soup, and a Thai iced tea. Even if you wish to eat at your own home, they are quick and you get your food in 15-20 min. Just splendid!!
They cool
Great portion and awesome pricing...best of all the flavor was on point!
Nice hideout...good ambiance and food.
Delicious food, great value, friendly service, vegan friendly!!
My new favorite Thai food place! It’s a small restaurant, so we always order to go and they never let us down! The pineapple rice is one of the best rices I’ve ever tried! The girl who usually answers the phone and takes orders does a fantastic job! She never gets my order wrong, and is always very welcoming. Not to mention the quality and taste of the food is amazing. I will always recommend this Thai food restaurant.
The food is delicious! Always go there to eat. Their fresh spring rolls, their soups, stir fryes and their Stiky rice Mango. LOVE IT!!!
Good chicken pho
Food is delicious
I love this place..
Good service..
This is a FANTASTIC restaurant is a rural town. It's small, intimate, and quiet. Unlike a LOT of Thai restaurants which have dark interiors, this one is pleasantly light inside. The food is QUITE A BIT BETTER than even big city Thai restaurants.
There are not many non main stream, unique restaurants in Lodi. This one is worth going to.
Been here twice, modest and such a great place! Amazing food!
Fast friendly service great food pho was amazing. Spicy chicken was great. Best date me and my girlfriend been on. I'm definitely getting laid today
Delicious food great service
Best Pho in Lodi/Stockton area
The BBQ Pork with Rice lunch dish that I had is deserving of 5 stars. The flavor was amazing! The salad that came with it was fresh with an extremely tasty dressing.
I ordered Thai Ice Coffee too. It was also delicious and served in a pint glass!

Riquisimo
Friendly staff, good food.
Be aware they are CASH ONLY
Birthday dinner and it was great
My friend and I were meeting here. She was there with her daughter eating when I got there and I came in after. I had gone to get my nephew and two of my kids fast food as I knew they wouldn't want to eat at the restaurant but my oldest son and I were going to eat at their establishment. I didn't want to be rude so I went inside to first ask if it was ok that my kids ate their lunches while we ate there. The girl first told me yes IF we could all fit in a table made for 4 people. Mind you, my friend was already eating with her daughter and there was an additional five of us coming. She told me that if we couldn't fit in one table that we couldn't eat there. She lost 2 paying customers (3 kids that wouldn't have ordered anyhow if we'd gone without fast food). Althought she wasn't rude when she told me and although I told her I would just keep my kids in the car to eat their food while my friend finished her food, I was upset but didn't want to be rude either. My son was annoyed that he wasn't able to eat. I would never go back to that place. Her excuse was that it was "lunch hour" and that people were coming in to eat. ...well wth did she think I was there to do??? I TOLD her my son and I would be eating but she assumed it was only one child with outside food. When I told her it was 3 that's when she told me if we could all fit in that one table :/. That would have not been possible.
unexpected great food
This is my favorite lunch spot in Lodi, even though it's hard to get a seat. The food is delicious and there are plenty of healthy and vegetarian options. I'm a big fan of their curry dishes, especially the green curry, which you can get with a range of proteins from tofu to seafood to chicken. The folks who work here are friendly and food is out quick.
Hands-down the best Thai food in the area. Seating's at a premium, but the delicate balance of flavors makes this spot worth any wait.
Awesome experience had the Lao style papaya n ginger fish n sticky rice along with the kao soy. It was an awesome experience will definitely go back again to try other dishes...1st time with the kao soy n loving the sweet coconut flavor taste. Don’t forget to ask for the spicy 🌶 to spice it up.
Absolutely the best Thai food in the 209!
I like the thai kitchen salad especially the dressing
Food is good. Restaurant is super small and no a/c running. it feels like a steam room specially when is hot.
Great little place best thai in town
Small space serving good, traditional Thai food. Great for take out if that's what you're in the mood for.
Nice size portions, good food. Fast and friendly service.
This is a small Thai restaurant in downtown Lodi serves large bowls of delicious Pho'. That's the only thing I've had there so far, but if it is representative of the rest of the food then I would have to say it's a good restaurant with good food! Lol. Very limited seating though.
Amazing food! Next to the movie theater. Wonderful hidden gem!
Best Thai food ever!! Good service.
If you like food. Please give this place a shot. There is truly something for everyone here. The place has seating for only about 20 people, so there may be a wait. Staff is extremely attentive and friendly, they know how to treat their patrons with respect. I tried the crispy noodles with chicken and the yellow curry (vegan). Both were OUTSTANDING. The noodles we're amazing and were mixed in a medley of veggies and broth, which had an amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly. And I have had curry at other Thai restaurants but this one was better than any I've had by a long shot. If you've ever tried Thai cusine, but didn't care for it, definitely give this place a shot. It will change your mind. This really comes as close as I can imagine to traditional Thai food, not too Americanized like others.
Great food, very quant
Lunch specials are awesome during the week
