Our group wanted to try some authentic Thai food. We're we wrong with this selection. We spent well over $300 on various dishes. No one had anything favorable to comment on. One comment was how can you mess up on rice. The seasoning & spices were lacking across the board. Every dish was plain and bland. For instance, the 'spicy shrimp ' at $16. Came with 7, 30- 40 count shrimp. In a sauce wuth a few sliced chilis. No spice, no heat just favirless. Just shy of a shrimp cocktail. The spicy chicken fell into the same bland dish. Could not find one person in our group that enjoyed anything. Not to mention when we arrived. Customer service was terrible. The the place only had 3 tables occupied, but we seemed to be ignored. It definitely took them a while to greet us. Then, finally, they got up and started preparing our order. They do have a public restroom for use. There is handicap parking in front of the building. The parking lot is medium-sized. There is a big tree in front of the restaurant signage. I think it is there for a purpose. So you can pass it up and drive right by it.

Sorry no photos , but the owner Ratna is a Thai lady who owns and cooks , so you get authentic thai cuisine .
Its a hidden gem in La Verne California and her Chicken and Beef Sate are the very best I have hsd , and if you see the piaces I eat st , you know I am telling you to go just to try Sate.
Her egg fkower soup and sll other dishes are amazing.

We have been coming here for years!!.Today October 27, 2023 at 8:00 pm to have dinner with my family of 6. It says they close at 9:30pm. We arrive to the restaurant they have the front door locked, they don’t answer the phone and they hid in the back so we couldn’t see them. But the waitresses kept peeking up to see if we have left. It is very sad. We won’t be coming back here ever again.

Paid $69 and I asked for hot sauce and soy sauce I was given one package of soy sauce and two chilies. And I asked for more chili I asked if I could have three more they were very small and the lady passed them to me and said next time I’m going to charge you as if I didn’t buy almost $70 worth of food. Also the veggies are canned and let us was welted canned mushrooms are so gross this place is definitely not somewhere you want to go there’s better food out there Thai food is my favorite and it is terrible how they treat people after spending $70 all she wanted to do is give me one packet of soy sauce who does that

UPDATE: Still love this place. It's so comforting to be able to order my favorites and have them taste just exactly as I expect. In these times, restaurants struggle with consistency, but not Siamese Restaurant. Still so damn delicious!

I can't stay away from this place. Their Tom Kar Gai is sooooo good, and that peanut sauce is to die for. Not a bad thing on the menu and the Thai beer is cold and refreshing.

Friendly, but idk if they did it on purpose but asked for mild hot and got extremely hot I'm willing to try again but I just couldn't enjoy my food.

Arrived at 9pm on Thursday, doors locked and cashier kept ignoring me even though sign said open and hours posted showed 9:30. Customers inside were also eating. Please post accurate hours, this is annoying.

I've been coming here since I was a baby and this restaurant is the single reason for my obsession with Thai food. I judge all others by this standard. As I've grown and my tastes have changed, I've been able to try new dishes and I've always enjoyed them. Obviously, in the 30 years I've been eating their food, recipes and dishes have changed, but I've never been disappointed, as I have with many other Thai places. This is what I consider home style cooking. It's a warm, inviting place with good people and good food. My personal favorites are the massaman chicken, rice noodle soup with chicken, and chili fish. Unfortunately, I don't see the massaman curry on their menu anymore. It's a shame because I've never found another restaurant that could match their flavor. I hope they bring it back.

As an edit, I see someone complained about high prices for tiny portions of average food. I find that insane. Their prices are comparable to other Thai restaurants, if not better (there's nothing I hate more than a pretentious Thai place). Also, I've taken many people here who also have strong opinions on Thai food and they all loved it. I've never seen someone I've taken be unsatisfied with the taste, or the portion. Lastly, my family doesn't order individually, we order family style. We order one dish per person, and sometimes an appetizer or soup. It comes out to about $12 per person and we all leave completely stuffed, sometimes even have leftovers, and we're all gluttons. When I go by myself, I can order 2 dishes to go, make my own rice, and have enough for a few meals. I usually portion it out at home and freeze it, then reheat and eat with a side salad. It all freezes and reheats really well.

They have MINT w/Chili Chicken!!!! Also Mint & Chili Pad Tai!! Hands down the best! You can get it mild but its excellent w/ extra 🔥. Staff is always helpful.

I've been eating at this establishment my entire life. It's not nostalgia, it's simply delicious. It's consistently excellent and has a nice and quiet, intimate atmosphere. Service is always great as well.

Purchased fried rice on 01.17.2013 at this restaurant for $9.76. Two days later, I was alarmed by my bank that the bank card used at this restaurant was copied and used multiply times at a casino "Asian Palace Asian" for over $3,000.

I chose this place based on reviews but wasn't very impressed. The food was very bland and lacked that authentic thai flavors. I ordered pad woon sen and spicy mint leaf for carry out. Food was ready when I arrived at place 15 mins later. Restaurant was very clean and nice looking. I didn't ask for the total when I placed order on phone so was suprised when 2 entrees were 20$. The service was good and the host was very courteous. But my portions were served in half portion containers rather than the full portion ones I'm used to. Also did not receive any untensals, napkins, or condiments. I had to go to sub shop next door to grab a fork. Did not really enjoy the food it just lacked any real flavor, like it was cooked without any sauce. So overall not a good experience and won't be returning here.

This one of the two best Thai places I've had in America. The other one is in Hollywood (pricier & good luck w/ parking). Therefore, this is THE BEST overall. It feels like a cozy home restaurant.
