Took the woman of my dreams out for a spontaneous mother's day dinner. This place didn't disappoint. It was small, quiet, friendly staff and the food was delicious and affordable.

Not the best Thai. Fried rice and pad Thai were good but our tofu panang curry was extremely watery (and not tofu - they gave us chicken. Good thing we’re not vegetarians) and the fried calamari was chewy, under seasoned and tasted very fishy. Also, portions were not dinner size and prices were not inexpensive…

I never finish my drunken noodles whenever I order it from a Thai restaurant. But this place, I cleaned the plate. So good

I love the Thai Curry beef and the house salad with tofu - the atmosphere is also very nice- perfect for a date night. Park in the back walk in and enjoy.

Ordered for take out. The Pad Ga Prow came in a small container and only filled half way. More like a lunch size, definitely not an dinner portion. Called them to let them know the portion was very small. Instead of them willing to make our order a dinner size, all they were focused on was returning the money.

Will not be returning unless want a small lunch.

This is my favorite go-to restaurant for lunch and dinner. The staff is always prompt and friendly and the food is always high quality and consistent. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. I only wish there are more restaurants like this one.

Horrible customer service the food was way too spicy when I ask nicely if they can please remake It without spice they told me no they couldn't do nothing for me and to call my bank or doordaah if I wanted my money back Horrible horrible customer service.

Yummy food and well priced. I ordered via Ubereats the spicy basil noodles and a Thai iced tea and it was a great pairing. What I would say is I wished online orders on Ubereats had the option for spiciness level. I added mild or less spicy to the notes, but I believe my notes went unread. Good portion of food overall for a meal.

I was very dissatisfied with my order. The massaman curry dish was over loaded with garlic, also lacking some key ingredients. The soup was also over loaded with garlic, the broth was tasteless. Having been to Thailand many, many times, I think you need to reconnect with your cuisine and culture.

After visiting Thailand 6 times I can tell you that this is by far the best Thai Restarant I have eaten here in the US. Try anything on the menu, you'll love it and don't forget to try the sticky rice and Mango for dessert!

My wife and I come here often. The food is delicious and the service is just as good. We come often, so they know exactly where we usually sit and always remember us. So far, one of the only Thai places we go to. Would highly recommend going here.

It was fine. We got pad Thai with tofu, pad see ew with shrimp, tom kha soup, spicy basil eggplant, and a chicken massaman curry. Nothing was particularly bad or inedible, but nothing wowed us. The best was the eggplant for sure, had lots of flavor and a great spice level. The pad Thai was a little dry and perhaps low on acidity (tamarind and lime). The pad see ew had a smoky flavor that was unexpected. Tom kha was tasty! Massaman was just fine. I chose this place based on the review about “best Thai food since being in Thailand” but I didn’t have the same experience.

Best Thai Food ever !! This was always my favorite go to restaurant. The choices are broad enough to meet everyone's pallet and the customer service is superb. My recommendations are the Chili Basil sauce as well as the Garlic sauce choices. You can get with chicken or tofu or vegetables. I've moved out of New York but make sure every time I am back I make it to Spicy Shallot. To my favorite people at Spicy Shallot please come to North Carolina, I am so unhappy without having your food more often :)

Always sooo delicious and fresh, and reasonably priced. Better than most of the other local Thai options. I actually day dream about it sometimes. Basil noodles with shrimp- highly recommend. I have two Thai places in both neighboring towns from me, but I go four towns over for Spicy Shallot2.

Ordered through Uber no options for spiciness so thought we would get at least some since you couldn't choose. Absolutely no heat or taste to either of the dishes we got, completely bland. One of the worst Thai places I have had in NYC. On top of that fried rice had a piece of a broken rubber band in it. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

Excellent food! Their lemongrass soup is fantastic, with just the right amount of heat. And their pad thai and spicy basil noodles are excellent! A cute place with wonderful dishes.

Some stuff is good and some is just ok BUT BE AWARE THAT ALL PORTIONS ARE VERY, VERY SMALL. If there's a problem w-yr order, it's ALWAYS the CUSTOMER who is at fault. They do NOT appreciate repeat business or their regulars. And if you have EVER HAD A COMPLAINT, then a side order of attitude will accompany all yr future transactions! Ridiculous. AND Delivery isn't always available. It's hit or miss. ORDER AT YR OWN RISK-TRULY!

Ordered the Red Snapper, best choice I made at that restaurant. Appetizers were great as well. Going back for sure!

I LOVE their peanut sauce and I also recommend the thai fried rice with vegetables! It's a large amount of food enough for two meals (think dinner then next days awesome lunch!) They're always accurate and ALSO always willing to accommodate dietary needs which is FANTASTIC!

Have gone here for years and the food was always good... tonight was a different story, and we will never go here again!
My entree was cold and undercooked. I asked for it to go back to the kitchen to be cooked properly (I've ordered this dish before), the waitress yelled at me! Told me nothing is wrong with my food and I don't know what I'm talking about. Finally, the cook came out to see what was wrong, when I tried to explain to her why I was dissatisfied with my dinner, the waitress continued to yell at me. My husband and I were the only patrons in the restaurant, should have realized something must be wrong with the service and food.

Great place and really nice Thai food, we eat there at least once a week. My favourite are their basil noodles, pad see ew and tom yum soup. My husband loves the red curry. We moved to Westchester from NYC and it’s one of the best Thai places I ever tried. They have a yummy and affordable selection for lunch. Portions are appropriate for the price, and service is good as well.

Ok food is good but the waiting staff kills it! The service is for the birds. The waitress did something i didn't like this last time. If you can get over stinky service the food is good. But last time i eat it.

Ordered take out for the family, the food tasted great but the quantity was lacking. Comparing this place to Red lotus probably less than 10 minutes away the food is slightly less tasty but probably double the quantity. When im paying $70 for 4 meals I want to be full not just satisfied

Decent Thai food but my parents live blocks from the original located in Elmhurst Queens. And that place is truly special with some delicious entrees and sushi rolls. This location pales in comparison.

This place is run by sweet people, but the food is lacking.

Quality is decent, however, the portions are miniscule. You can get the same quality at lower prices at restaurants that are relatively close.

Went there for a Friday dinner. It has the typically delicious Thai food and a few other I had never tried. However, all the entrees I ordered comes in a smaller portion than what I had in other Thai restaurant. I had to add a third one and share it with my wife. Ultimately, they all taste good.

My wife and myself took a trip from Queens all the way to Westchester County to eat in this restaurant based on the reviews and to meet a couple of friends who lived in the area.
Honestly, the food was just ok. It is, and never will be good as the original Spicy Shallot in Queens. I was disappointed they did not have the Pearl Harbor like the original one. The Pad Thai was good so I have to give them that.
The waitress who served us looked like she had no personality. They were prompt with the food which was good. After all, we were the ONLY customers in the whole restaurant.
Why should I drive 45 minutes to eat Thai Food when the best is only 5 minutes away from me? Next time I will tell my friends to come to Queens instead. :)
