It's been long overdue I leave a positive review for Koi Thai. The food was delicious, the service was incredible, and the restaurant's vibe was cozy and comfortable. I took family and friends to eat here many times, and we really had a great time talking and enjoying great good. Koi is so sweet and kind, and she really works hard to provide quality service to her customers. I wish this restaurant is open more days, and I cannot stress this enough, please support local businesses, such as Koi Thai. Give them a try, especially if you enjoy Thai food. You won't regret it.

I swear this place should be more packed than what it is! The food is amazing. And the service is great! The server is very welcoming. Very nice people greeting you from arrival til departure. I will definitely be coming back soon! I've tried different foods and you really can't go wrong with any. They are delicious. Plus the drinks are huge. 10 out of 10!

Great food and service! Koi(the owner) was so helpful with helping me navigate the menu and very friendly throughout my time there. I got the combination plate with fried dumplings, salad, orange chicken, and white rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chicken was nice and crispy and not soggy like most places. I thought I was going to have leftovers but everything was so good, I ended up eating it all! Will definitely be returning with my family soon! Thank you Koi!

KOI is the sweetest person ever! My sister in law lives around there & we went here for a late dinner & her customer service was amazing, I can’t remember the last time i went to a restaurant & felt this welcomed. They just gained a forever customer. Not to mention the food was not as greasy as at your typical thai place, the food was CHEFS KISS.

Tried this place today for the first time... after reading all of the good reviews that it has.. let me tell you..they are not wrong!.. the food is amazing... place is cozy and Koi is super cool... we ate there.. and took more food to go... lol.. instantly became a favorite.. definitely coming back... thank you Koy!

I love koi Thai cuisine! My boyfriend and I come here every week(I’m not even joking). My boyfriend’s fav dish is the pad Thai with shrimp extra spicy. Mine is the yellow curry with chicken. Soooo good. Make sure if you’re in the area,give this spot a try.

Monday 9/16/24 Lunch at Koi Thai Cuisine in La Puente. I’ve ordered the Padthai noodles with pork and a Thai green Iced tea. It’s so delicious with the right flavors and crunchy of the peanut. The Thai green iced tea quenched my thrist and was smooth.

Koi, restaurant chef & owner, was friendly, hospitable, and hard working wearing many hats.

I recommend trying this restaurant.

Thursday 6/20/24 Dinner at Koi Thai Cuisine in La Puente. Craving for their “Pork eggplant with basil sauce”. This is my favorite dish and I gotta have it every time I crave for it.

Koi, restaurant owner, knows how I like it and how spicy and eating it with a large platter of steam rice. So delicious and savory and just the right spicy. This is how I bring heaven on earth. Koi is so sweet and friendly; she greeted me by name which says a lot and she remembers her customers. Thank you Koi!

Sunday 4/21/24 Dinner at Koi Thai Cuisine in La Puente with my cousin. Introducing my cousin to my favorite hidden Thai restaurant. Ordered Seafood Tom Yum soup, crab fried rice, larb salad, and eggplant-pork stir fried. All the dishes were delicious and cooked with sufficient wok fire which gives it a little charred taste.

Koi, restaurant owner, was friendly, courteous, and hospitable to the customers. She makes sure the customers enjoyed the foods, get their drinks, and attended to their needs. Koi even makes time to strike a pose with me on a photo opportunity. Thank you Koi!

I recommend trying out this restaurant. I will be returning and bringing my friends. It’s a hidden gem located next to a Walmart market place.

Came on a whim since I was at Kaiser and loved it! The food was great: super fresh and tasty. I got pad Thai and a simple cucumber salad. Chef Koi is so friendly and such a joy it’s hard not to enjoy yourself here. It’s a simple mom and pop stop, nothing fancy, but it’s welcoming and clean. Will definitely be back :)

First time there and First time eating Thai food. It was delicious. We had a family of 14 show up and everyone loved the food. I had the BBQ Pork and som had the Orange chicken. Also a side order of pineapple rice and mom had the veggies soup with chicken. I also ordered the chicken egg rolls. Service was excellent but slow seeing that she was short staffed on a Sunday. I highly recommend this place. I will be going back! The only bad thing is there is no restroom...

One of my families regular dinner rotation. Chicken Pad see ew and vegetable fried rice are delicious. Recently started brewing tea's. I tried the Hibiscus tea, and it was really good. It's not too sweet, and it's just the right balance of Hibiscus flavor. It's just right and super refreshing.

Bei besserer Lage, geschmackvoll- eleganterer Einrichtung und wie bei Asia Restaurants meistens flott- freundlicher Bedienung, würde ich ihnen auch 4,5 zuerkennen, so lecker und gut zubereitet waren die Speisen.

In the past I would drive into Montebello for good Thai food. Koi is very friendly and and my first visit months ago she said see you next week. Yes I visit at least every other week if not weekly. I have tried a variety of items and I have my favorites. Very seldom go to my other spot especially since Koi is closer. Still a return customer.

My girlfriend loved this place sadly we just came back from ordering curry & had strans of hair in ours. Sadly we wont be coming back. Hopefully they have whoever is working BOH wear a hair net, some type of sleeve or shave.
Hopefully you're experiences continue to be good from this place because the curry was good before the hair lol.

Whenever I get salad, I ask for dressing, ranch or italian😥 but they don't have any. I asked the cashier how come they dont offer dressing, and she said, because we dont have any. I've been going here for a while now, but 1 day an incident happened that made me hit an epiphany. I decided to start calculating the prices of my items before I got there. Consistently, I have noticed that if you order more than 2 items, the total price plus tax amounts are always over by $5 - 7. I don't mind paying the price on the menu, which some already consider over priced but kickin up total price is bamboozling & dishonest to me.
Addition to that is inconsistencies. The Food, sometimes taste great and sometimes they don't unfortunately.

I come here for the tom kha soup and because they always remember me.

First time Dining at Koi Thai Cuisine....felt very welcomed there...food was delicious and portions were good...loved the calamari rings they were crunchy and tasty...the basil salmon was also good...the wife loved the Eggplant with basil sauce...the waitress was on top of everything...made us feel like she cares about her customers....will definitely go back again ...i recommend this place if you love Thai food...!

The shop owner's name is Koi. She really impressed me with her customer service skills. I went in at lunch time and there were no other patrons there. She invited me to sit wherever i liked and brought me a menu. While i was ordering, she must have noticed I brought my book because we had a conversation about reading.

While i was there several other people came in to order and it seemed as if she was on a first name basis with everyone! I enjoyed my lunch and she asked my name.

Food:
I ordered Pad See Ew, an onion ring appitizer and a Thai tea. Evergthing was tasty. Not amazing or anything but I was not disappointed.
