We had the chicken satay (the peanut sauce did not make it into the picture) and tom yum creamy seafood with a level 6 spice. They give you extra plates and small bowls with a serving spoon. It was enough food to fill both of us to where we walked out a little bloated after 😅 Staff was friendly and attentive. Well priced. Overall a well rounded restaurant

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed right away. Since I had my dog with me, I chose to sit on the patio, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having heaters to keep it cozy.

The drinks were excellent, setting the tone for the meal. I ordered the drunken noodles, and I have to say, these were some of the best Thai noodles I’ve had in a long time. The spice levels were spot-on—when they say medium, you get medium, unlike many other Thai places where the spice levels can be unpredictable. The portion sizes were also very generous, which made the meal even more satisfying.

For dessert, I decided to indulge, and oh my God, it was fantastic! The quality and taste far exceeded what I expected for the price.

Overall, this is a place I’ll definitely be returning to. Amazing food, great service, and a dog-friendly patio—what more could you ask for? Highly recommend!

Wow! Food was delicious. Our favorite Thai restaurant closed down so we needed to find a new place near our house, signature Thai was really delicious. We order the red curry and drunken noodles and it was amazing. Please go and check it out you won't be disappointed. The overall experience was pretty good, servers were checking our table several times on our short and late dinner date. I highly recommend it.

We ordered on line take out and 30 minutes after we were told the order was to be ready we are still waiting. On top of this inconvenience they charged an automatic 20% for the tip.

This family run restaurant has excellent food, really nice ambiance, and great, friendly service. Zen was our server tonight and he had a great attitude and was very attentive even though the restaurant was full. The curries and soups here are amazing.
Pad woonsen is my favorite. Both the Tom yum and Tom kha are also really good.
For noodles l'd recommend the drunken noodles.
Also the royal duck curry if you're looking for super flavorful dish with a ton of veggies and duck.

Every time we come here, husband and I always leave happy with full bellies. Best place to be when you're in the mood for drunken noodles and royal duck curry authentic thai cuisine! We came here for a birthday party and I was very impressed by it! It's in the shopping center by Big Lots but I guess that won't be true much longer since Big Lots is closing. I got Pad Thai, an old favorite, and the serving was huge plus the food was delicious and the service was great. The price was reasonable. I also got a container of sake which was delicious. I want to go back sometime and try the Satay chicken. My grandson got that and it looked delicious.

The service was fast and good. The portions are fair for the price. Overall the restaurant exceeded my expectations.

This restaurant deserves all the love and credit! My partner and I usually order to go from here but we finally got a chance to eat there and it was such a wholesome experience. He has traveled to Thailand and said this restaurant reminded him of being there due to their hospitality! Amazing service, great vibe, and it’s always so cutely decorated. Their food is great to go but even more so in person! Large portions packed with flavor at an affordable price. Definitely a hidden gem that deserves recognition. Better than most Thai places in SD in my opinion.

La Mesa is full of excellent restaurants, and Signature Thai is at the top of the list! The food is authentic, service is excellent and the variety of dishes keeps me coming back for more. Im always pleasantly surprised when the check comes and always have enough to take home to enjoy later! 👍🏼👍🏼

The service is amazing here. They also have great thai tea and pad thai.

Very nice staff, very fresh ingredients, prices comparable to other restaurants. However, they over-fill the containers on to-go orders, and use quite a lot of oil in the food. Any attempt to open the container makes a big oily mess, you can't even slightly move the dish without spilling oils everywhere. And because of the oil, spills are harder to clean. They should use larger containers or smaller portions of food. My advice is to open your food in your sink and immediately transfer it to another, larger bowl. There should be space between the food and the top rim of the bowl and it shouldn't be fully squeezed against the lid. There's no way to open it cleanly as the bowls are also very flimsy and flexible. Food is good, aromatic and flavorful.

Went here with some family members & we liked it. I ordered Chicken Larp , papaya salad (both were medium heat like a 6) & a side of sticky rice ( only complaint is that I wish the side of sticky rice was a bit more than what they serve you.) but then again I’m a rice baby so there’s that too! The portion side of Larp is soo big you can literally share it with 3 ppl easily. My husband ordered the crab fried rice and he enjoyed it. I really loved the drinks we ordered they were pretty yummy definitely enjoyed the boba pearls. I will definitely come back to check out their curry next time. Customer service was wonderful. I also love the atmosphere of the restaurant all the cultural attributes & we went around Easter time so they had such cute Easter decor up as well it’s nice and intimate especially around dinner time. Plenty of free parking shared with the rest of the plaza . They also offer seating outside in front of the establishment .

It's not often that my wife and I venture out to find new Thai spots, but I'm glad we did this time. We ordered Drunken Noodles, Panang Curry, Spicy Eggplant, and Fresh Springs rolls. Everything was excellent and the staff were very nice! I think Signature Thai claimed my top spot for best Thai food in East County and is close for best in San Diego!!

The food was not cooked well and I ordered chow mein and it ended up with rice chunks in it. I didn't order anything with rice so idk how that managed to happen and when we reached out the staff were very unfriendly about the situation and would not allow us to get a refund. I asked for my food to be made a specific way due to allergies and they didn't accommodate this and obviously they aren't worried about cross contamination. I would not recommend this place to friends

We celebrated my nephews birthday yesterday at Signature Thai and had a wonderful time! This is our favorite Thai restaurant in all of San Diego and we are thrilled that we moved closer and get to visit often. However, last night was an even better experience! We had Amy as our server and she was fantastic!! Amy was attentive and patient with our large party. She made sure everything was perfect from refilling our drinks, to removing plates out of the way, to making sure the kids were comfortable and also cared for. Her attention to detail and customer satisfaction exceeded our expectations and that says a lot since this spot is already ranked really high on our list! We enjoyed seeing the wonderful thematic decor (Easter decor is up and very cute), the fish tank, and trying new delicious items on the menu. We were not disappointed! Everything we picked was very delicious and the plates are very well portioned.

I have to eat gluten free. We did takeout here. Most of the menu is or can be prepared gluten free. I had pineapple fried rice with chicken. It was delicious.

First time here for a special meal & it was wonderful.
Tried some new dishes haven’t tried before.
The entrees were flavorful, hot and large in portions.
The soup we had was not the typical Tom kha or Tom yum it was called Po-Tak and it was excellent full of bright but balanced flavors.
I had never tried the Pad Woonsen as it’s not typically available at Thai restaurants. Highly recommend that dish with shrimp.
Our server Amy was excellent she was so helpful & attentive.
If you can get Amy you have good luck!
Everyone else was nice & helpful too, pleasant vibe from everyone.

Fresh ingredients, properly cooked, the flavors and spice are delicious. Absolutely transformed the way I cook my Thai fried rice at home. Service is friendly, atmosphere is comfortable and charming. The quality has gone down in the last few years. Which has greatly affected the taste of some of my favorite dishes. I ordered the drunken noodles lunch special today with beef and there was 5 tiniest pieces of beef in the dish. The side salad was also skimped on. The prices don’t reflect the quality of food you get anymore.

New favorite restaurant!! We came to this place with my in-laws who love Thai and my 6 and 8yo girls who are not super easy eaters. We all loved it!! Ordered the cream cheese wontons, edamame, and chicken skewers for my girls-- all three, huge hits. Grown ups got chicken pad thai, pad see yew (sp?), and one of their specials. ALL the food was DELICIOUS. Best Thai we've had in San Diego. The service was also great, and the ambiance was comfortable while still feeling special. My 8yo asked to go back for her birthday. :)

I've always liked this place. Tonight I went with my two daughters for a birthday dinner. We were seated and completely ignored for 25 minutes. There was only two other occupied tables. They weren't even busy. On the way out they thanked us for coming in. Completely oblivious to their lack of service. I doubt we will go back.

After trying Kin Len in North Park, my bf and I fell in love with street Thai food but were scarred by having to look for parking for 40 minutes. North Park, am I right? We looked around for another Thai place that served street Thai food without the parking issues and that’s closer to us in La Mesa. He found this spot and wow, we were blown away by the ambiance and food. The chicken wings are superior here (juicier, more meat) and the crab fried rice was double the portion and *so* delicious. Suffice to say, we will never have to suffer through parking to get good street Thai food ever again!! Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

The Chicken Panang and Pad Thai she recommended were outstanding – flavorful and perfectly prepared. We give her and the dishes a well-deserved five-star rating! Love the saltwater aquarium at the front too, we’ll definitely be returning soon.

I’m not pleased with takeout from this location. Price was a bit high for pickup, and then of course a tip is requested when you pay.

The cost of my Tom Yum doubled with shrimp, which is this soup’s traditional, basic ingredient. I was not aware of an upcharge until afterwards. The flavor was good, there were 6 medium shrimp.

The biggest issue tho, was the edamame. The third one I ate turned out to be empty. It was an empty pod of 3 and looked very much like it had the beans intentionally removed / eaten by someone. It immediately made me think this place possibly reuses leftovers. We eat / cook edamame regularly in Japan, so I’m quite familiar. I looked through the remaining pods skeptically, then found a dog hair. *Appeared to be a dog hair, I should say. That was enough to call it quits.

I did not finish the meal, $25.78 worth of garbage. Again, soup flavor was good after the maybe 5 spoonfuls & 1 shrimp I ate. But the rest I was not comfortable eating after the aforementioned discoveries. Bummed.

We usually don't have the experience we had to ight at this place, but tonight the first dish Panang Curry came out cold and had to send it back. The second dish Padseew we ordered was burnt and infused with burnt flavor. Very disappointing. We ended up not finishing the pad see ew because tasted too burnt. They offered to re make it but we're too full by the end.
