The panang curry is so good! I was a lil weary when I saw that it's white meat but they marinated it correctly and it's so tender. The rice was so good with the sauce. I needed another bowl.

Chicken satay was great also. Pho is just ok though.

Red Chili is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the East Bay! Their food is very flavorful, fresh, and authentic to my taste buds. I've tried a lot of items on the menu, and whether I've dined in or had takeout, this place never disappoints!

My go-to's are the Roti Canai (an absolute must!) for the appetizer, Panag Curry with chicken, pineapple fried price, and lemon grass beef. There are plenty of other delicious options, so try them at your leisure!

As for the pho and some of the other Vietnamese dishes, it's good, but not my favorite. In other words, if you're craving pho and your squad is already here, go for it. It's consistent and delicious enough, but I come here for the Thai food specifically. Overall, you'll get your South East Asian cravings completely satisfied one way or another.

They have a large indoor dining area which I've never seen full but moderate filled. The service is fine, prices are fair considering it's 2020's. Have at it!

One of my favorite Thai-Vietnamese restaurant in Bay Area. This is a hidden gem in Hayward on mission Blvd.

Great food, amazing staff and lots of options for vegetarian and non vegetarians.

They have small parking in from but they do have extra parking space in back.

My favorite is Tom Yong soup , yellow curry , red curry, green curry, pineapple fried rices . Their portion size is great and you will never be disappointed being vegetarians one has large number of options and you will be delighted.

Only thing-they have to work on is ventilations from all cooking and dining room.

Will return here would come here before for lunch they will never see a dollar from me.

The curry sauce here is exquisite. There's a hint of mint, And the space level is sublime. I ordered spicy level: hot and that's what I got. Delicious! The rice is cooked to perfection. And the pork and chicken egg rolls are quite good as well. This restaurant is a real gem and will be frequented by me often.

They have raised the prices way to much .We were practically alone on Friday night. Food was good. Price not good .

This is the worst restaurant ever! I have come with my family many times and they always mess up my order. My wife is severely allergic to egg and mushroom, so we always inform them however they always seem to forget. I have given them several chances and this time they have taken it to far.I had order from this restaurant as my family loves the cuisine.bed specifically said vegetarian no egg and mushroom for every item that I had ordered and even checked afterwards to confirm of the fact. However when my daughter went and checked the food when we got there it was full of shrimp in the avocado rolls and mushrooms in the yellow curry and egg in the herbal lettuce wrap.we talked to the lady quite nicely and explained the situation but she didn’t listen and just kept saying that it was not her fault and they did what they were told even when I showed her the proof that we had said no meat and etc she just denied the fact and said “Don’t talk to me like that” I was shocked at the fact and since she said was not willing to cooperate I had just called the business afterwards where she was just being very rude. I used to love this restaurant and they used to have great customer service but now I will never go back to this one place again l. I hope I can help others avoid this problem in the future.

This has become our favorite place to take people when they come visit - the food is always good, they make it quick, the prices are reasonable. I've never had anything less than a fantastic time, and the spicy stuff is actually spicy. No complaints, would recommend to anyone.

As someone from Asia, they have one of the best green curry and Pad See Ew in the Bay Area.

Food is good. But customer service is horrible. Super rude. It's not the first time I ordered from here. But it'll be the last. They gave me a tofu only soup when I asked for veg and tofu. Immediately, they started to say it was somehow my fault. I would have been fine, If they couldn't add veggies. But the server was taking a very rude tone with me, so I left with the food and am writing this review.

When ordering food from here we have to make sure we check 2 times they gave me wrong food . I order the food on phone n nicely told them twice no onions since we don’t eat onions. So upon arrival I told them I wana check because u guys made mistakes twice before when I checked there was onions in it I told the waitress I told no onions she say u didn’t n she started saying no u don’t when I say I did . So the other waitress came in her language the say something n they told me they gona cook another one upon waiting 10 mins they brought back food I took home when I scoop the fried rice n flat rice noodles I found out onion’s which clearly shows that they just took out the onions on top n left as is inside so this is wat it is food is teasty though but service is not to the expectation

The best take out Thai food I’ve ever had! I love their yellow curry. It’s sweet and savory with a little spice. I like it mild, so I ordered no spice! Love their pineapple fried rice, their wasabi walnut prawns, their roti, and the green curry, too. This is our go to spot. It is dark and small to eat in, but we love to take out!

I recently visited Red Chili in Hayward and had a fantastic experience. The parking at the back was convenient, and the back door entrance made it easily accessible. The customer service was excellent, and I highly recommend trying their delicious curry, which happens to be my favorite. Overall, a must-visit for Vietnamese and Thai food enthusiasts!

Very good food. The green curry is on point so is any of the site fry especially the garlic jumbo prawns.

Was in nearby town on business. Stopped in for a road lunch. Classy place. Authentic. The tea was the best I've ever had. Being from rural California, that's not saying much. Pho was excellent. Viet Rice was very fresh and quite tasty.

Great Thai Food and Great Location to eat and Bring the Family

Service is terrible, the servers have a face that they don’t want to work here and any special requests are tossed out of the window. I asked the broccoli in my 4 year old’s pad see ew to be minced and they straight up declined it. I said you just have to chop it up smaller…. Nope!!!

Super food. Super service. It was uncomfortably warm inside though. Next time, I will take it to-go.

I had tom yum soup, stir-fried drunken noodle, and half moon crepe, and I loved it all. Especially the crepe, it was super delicious!!!! It was nice and crispy , so if you happen to dine in at this place try the crepe!!

Wanted some pho and this was the only place outside a 20 minute drive that could supply the goods and hey, actually that was a pretty great noodle soup I had. The broth had that great homely quality and flavor. Only thing I would say is the portion size is pretty small you will get maybe 3 or 4 of whatever meat you asked for. Though in fairness, the price is pretty solid.

I have ordered the eggplant dish twice in separate orders, which was disappointing. The eggplant was tough and not cooked. I ended up discarding it.

My wife had Pad Thai and I had fried rice, soup and some other dishes, we loved the food and we got the food so fast. I totally recommend it.

Never ordered a dish I didn’t like! 2 year customer so far.

I just came for a Thai Tea. I went to the counter to pay and the lady who assisted me told me to sit down, I said no I’m making a take out order. She then demanded that I sit and I refused. Then she asked me if I want a small Thai Tea or a Large. I said Large and I thought I was paying for large but she brought out a small one. I tried to pay with Apple Pay and she resisted nd said I couldn’t pay with Apple Pay, then when she figured it out she said I could pay with Apple Pay. I still don’t think I got what I payed for. It was very poor communication and poor customer service.

Bring the Health inspector on this dinner date. I found a maggot in my white rice. What kind of show are you running here? A flea circus. The curry seemed watered down. Like they forgot a can of milk. But it still has that mouth warming curry flavor. 👍

We ordered both viet and Thai foods and the viet food was definitely flavorless and disappointing. However the Thai food had much more flavor. The Tom yum soup was the best even though a tad bit on the very spicy side. If/when we visit next time we will stick to only Thai food

It's weird because the food was amazing, the service was, looked and felt like I was being served by spoiled teenage girls, we were ignored alot they forgot portions of our orders and they brought the wrong food a few times and we could hear other patrons with the same complaints it was embarrassing. First time I didn't want to tip.

A must try Thai restaurant. We ordered Roti canai (I liked very much, crispy and soft), spicy veg fried rice, green curry and red curry and Pad cee ew. The fried rice with green curry was amazing. A good portion they are giving.

Expect Thai-style but surprisingly I got some Chinese food, but like it!

I got crab fried rice from here and it was HORRIBLE. I got a bowl full of undercooked rice with no flavor or CRAB. I will NEVER go here again a total waste of 20.00. There was suppose to be asparagus in the rice there was maybe 6 slivers cut up like green onions.

Red Chili has been our go to place for local Thai cuisine for years. Every meal starts with 2 to 3 orders of their Roti Canai. Our usual favorites are standard fare like Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Pad See Ew. A must have is their crab fried rice!

Look elsewhere as their food quality has dropped precipitously over the pandemic such that I'm not sure that they'll last until the next door apartment complex opens. It used to be my favorite restaurant, but I've choked down my last bad meal there. I'm done. Sad 😕

Decently priced 🍜 pho and hits all the right notes you crave. Thai curries are rich and filling. Spicy fried rice has been my favorite... with the spicy being up there in heat but not unbearable.

Great food terrible service. I come here all the time because I am addicted to their curry and now bring my own water because they NEVER refill drinks or come to check on the tables.

On Tuesday 4/5, my wife placed an order online for pick up. They open for dinner at 4:30 pm, the order was placed for a pick up time of 5:00 pm. My wide showed up at 5:00 and asks for her order, the lady behind the counter asks for her name and phone number. The lady walks over to an order sitting on a table, looks at the receipt and tells my wife "you need to wait more time". The lady proceeds to help a few other customers while my wife waits patiently. After 25 minutes of waiting, my wife asks for an update on her order. The lady walks over to the SAME order she previously checked and proceeds to hand it to my wife. She made my wife sit and wait for 25 minutes for our order AFTER checking it and saying it wasn't ready. So our food sat on the table for 25 minutes due to her incompetence. We ordered 2 pad thais and 2 spring rolls, not a very complicated order. And to add insult to injury, the food was mediocre at best. The noodles were clumped together as if they reused old noodles and the spring rolls were simply bad. We will not be going back to red chili and will no longer recommend them in the future.

They are always so quick and efficient here. The food is good, and certainly worth the price you pay. It's an easy Friday night dinner that will fill you up and won't break the bank. I recommend the red curry, but they have lots of good options!

It was the first time I visited this restaurant. We went to the restaurant around 1230 on weekdays. It was slow, so we got the table fast. After ordering, it took maybe 10 minutes for the food. Really good and tasty food. I will be going again soon.

We don't eat Thai all that often because, in general, we feel Thai food is a little pricey, but when we do feel like it, this is our go to restaurant. Consistently delicious food.
