Was craving Thai food and was on our from LA to Orange County. Found this place to have excellent reviews on google. We ordered pad Thai , basil chicken and shrimp fried rice. The food tasted extra ordinary. Haven’t had such amazing food in a long time , that not only tasted exceptional but looked great as well. The service was awesome as well and so was the ambiance. Would definitely recommend.

Food is so delicious! Every time when I eat here it tastes like my first time, always awesome. Cashiers are friendly and your order is done really quick, you don’t need to wait long. Interior is simple but clean and tidy. I recommend this place if you want delicious food, nice service and really good experience of Thai food

Newly opened, with limited menu. Good food as expected from Bowl Thai. Nice, clean simple decor. The chicken bowl as pictured was very good. The chicken was cooked well with a little char to add to the grilled taste. The marinade was was a light and delicate flavor not over powerful with additional dipping sauce provided. The sticky rice was speckled with purple rice and perfectly complemented the chicken with it's chewy texture. The papaya salad, fabulously contrasted the chicken with it's crunchy texture with a slight peppery hotness. Looking forward to trying the new items the next time. Worth checking out.

First time there today and it didn't disappoint!! Very good and friendly service. Clean restaurant and good seatings in and outside. We ordered Grilled Chicken with Papaya Salad, Grilled Pork with Spicy & Sour Tamarind Dip, and Larb Pla (Fried Tilapia Fillets topped with some lemongrass, greens and Thai herbs lightly dressed with spicy, tangy and a little sweet dressing). This Larb Pla is a million times soooooooo sooo good!!!!! Must try!!!

Kai Yaang bowl delicious! As is the salad!! Not a fan of chicken with skin on grilled but this is what the dish is!

Food is decent here, but service for a Sunday lunch was extremely slow, and we and waited for about 30 minutes. Finally our bell rung but they only brought one of the dishes. For the other it was another 10 min wait. It seems they bring out dishs in random order to random tables.

You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. The cucumbers are a must - add a “dirty Thai tea” if you’re looking for something different.

Need a dessert? Head next-door to Sweet Rice!

Nice place, casual dining. Staff and servers were very nice. We have liked Thai food for a long time, our go to item is Satay Beef. The last few years, a lot of Thai places have removed it from the menu. Bowl Thai Grill has one of the best Satay Beef plates that we have every tried and are so happy to be able to go and eat our favorites. Thank you for such a great experience, we will be back.

Best Thai food around!! Can’t go wrong here. Everything on the menu is superb.

1st time here, and the girl taking my ordered made want to never come back such a terrible attitude, and the phone would ring all she would do is pick up and hang up. Gotta see if the food makes me over see this badly experience

Good Thai food for the money and it comes out pretty quick. almost fast food like. Selection limited. Order at the counter, and they bring our the food to your table.

Delicious food, great location (tons of seating), awesome people working there; a really great experience. I had the Pad Thai and it was excellent, the chicken was very flavorful, everything was great. Will definitely be back.

WoW!! i typically don't eat Thai food. A friend took me there and wholly smokes! It was damn good. Chicken was cooked perfect...tender, moist..with a little BBQ char. A must try! I highly recommend!

The food is absurdly good, people are friendly, place is clean with great music and comfortable seats, plus they serve beer. Why are people lining up 200ft away to eat at IHOP instead of coming here?!?!?! This place should be packed at all times of day.

Kai Yang was super flavorful. Ribs were on point, extra points for riceberry rice vs standard white rice. Then there's the nam kao tod!!! My favorite of all. Then to wash it all down, lemongrass tea!!! So refreshing and fragrant.

Very tasty Moo Ping. The pork was tender and flavorful.

So there’s two locations near one another and I called the western location and came to pick up at Redondo. I asked since I had to get back to work to place an order here at Redondo in order to make it to work on time. He wouldn’t take my order.. he told me I had to go pick up where I ordered from. Please be clear next time locations are so similar and not taking my order was extremely frustrating.

Best Thai food ever!! Very authentic food! I would usually drive to Thai town for any decent Thai food and extremely happy that I can get it in Gardena!

The clears are very nice, he welcomes every one with warming attitudes. Even though this is my first visit, I feel them, they want you to feel comfortable and enjoy their food. And all the foods are great.

I like to be able to outside dine so that you can get great salads from Bowl Thai Grill while getting a awesome bowl of boat noodles from Sweet Rice.

It's operated by the same owner as sweet rice and bowl Thai so the flavors are on point. Chicken is the thing to get here and look for unique LEGO builds in the back counter if you're a LEGO nerd 🤓

Though the menu is a bit limited, the food was delicious and very tasty! I was pleasantly surprised to see some beers on tap and the cashier was so nice and accommodating, he definitely made it a great experience for me and my friends. I appreciate the service! I would definitely come back for more!

Everything was so good. The food was fresh, flavorful and amazing.

Honestly can't get enough of this place. The Kai Yaang chicken plate with sticky rice and papaya salad is so good. I love the fact that most of the menu items are truly authentic and not what you would normally find at a mainstream popular Thai restaurant. Everything about Bowl Thai Grill is from the heart and the hospitality and friendliness is second to none.

love the simple menu, simple cafeteria feel here. chicken sate was burnt but it added flavor.

The Kai Yaang Bowl is some of the most delicious chicken I've had. Make sure to get the green hot sauce, it goes great on all dishes.
