Dining, takeout and delivery
I’m absolutely obsessed with their dish "drunken noodles." Every time I order it, I make sure to get it very spicy! The combination of flavors in this dish is just incredible. The heat, the savory sauce, and the perfectly cooked noodles all come together to create an unforgettable taste experience. I can't get enough of it and always look forward to my next plate!
We came here expecting authentic Thai food, but compared to other places we’ve tried, this was disappointing. Every dish was overly sweet, even though we requested the highest spice level. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back or recommending this place to anyone who loves spicy food.
My maiden visit this weekend was for a take-away. Place was cavernous - and crowded! Easily the largest Thai place I’ve been to. Can’t comment on service. Can comment on the food - lip smacking lay delicious! The beef satay was a well executed variation of the usual in chicken. The green curry, Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, and Basil Chicken all hit the spot. Looking forward to dining in the next time!
*Edit* our second visit was a dine-in. Once again, we loved it! Great spacious interior, lots of tables. Seated promptly. Food tastes amazing as before, more amazing when eaten fresh and not as a take out. We repeated the pad thai and green curry. Also added a pad see ew, Thai calamari, papaya salad, fried rice, and one of the stir fries. Every dish was amazing. Would love to repeat.
Lemonleaf Grill offers an authentic Thai dining experience with a delightful fusion of flavors. From vibrant curries to savory stir-fries, each dish is a culinary delight. The cozy ambiance complements the exceptional service, making Lemonleaf Grill a standout choice for Thai cuisine enthusiasts.
We had it for the second time now and the food was delicious!! We went nuts over the mango and sticky rice! It wasn't overly sweet. It was milky and creamy, and the mango was perfect! Best mango and sticky rice we had so far! I'm definitely coming back for that!
This place has amazing food. NO doubt abt that. I have always done take out from here. We decided to dine in the other day and loved the food. The place is quite nice as well.
The only problem I experienced was when we had a food take out, they serve in a box that leaked all over my car seat. I was expecting plastic container for the food with curry but....
Also the server didnt talk till the time of payment and taking tips. No greetings or nothing. I will just continue a takeout instead of dine-in.
The food is really good. Try the walnut shrimp.
Spent $160, asked for utensil but never came. Food portion is worst ever..
Top notch Thai restaurant. Very reasonable lunch specials

Great curry and noodle dishes, quick service
I went yesterday to dine in and the service was excellent as well as the food.
Food was awesome but the service was horrible. It was like the waitress don't talk at all until it was time to pay the bill that when she spoke to let us know there is an extra charge for using the credit card and asking how much we are tipping. We had left overs so we took it to go. They packed the left overs in those paper boxes and oh boy what a mess that was in our car. The sauce from the food soaked through the paper, got open and leaned out of the brown paper bag.

Excellent for non meat eaters. Delicious. Had not been there in many years and was not disappointed.
Always great food, tasty full flavor, decent portion size, easy parking in front.
This is my go to Thai place, I drive 20 minutes to get here. Placed an order online and show up and they have no history of it, even though I have proof of order (transaction number, everything). Currently sitting in parking lot waiting for my order to be made. Didn’t even offer a discount or anything for wasting my time.
Good food
Services are meh!
Good food
The most delicious curries.
Excellent food and great service
Food was really good. I got the crispy chicken (P17) . I also got the soup item #2 and it was excellent. I also ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and it was the worst one I ever had in my life. The lighting was a little too bright for dinner.
We have been eating here frequently since 1998 when we first moved to Hicksville. Food was excellent always. Since the pandemic understandably prices went up. Quality remained the same. However quality has tanked. We ordered food today and the taste was awful. We paid $115 for a very very mediocre food. Disappointed to say the least. Seems like the chef has changed. I am sure.
I love eating at Lemonleaf Grill because the dishes are consistently delicious and authentic. The green curry is my go-to, and the fresh spring rolls are a great starter. It's a wonderful place for both dine-in and takeout
Delicious food! Penang curry with coconut milk is so delicious. Also love their beef Drunken Noodle
Great food if you like Thai but it was very crowded and service was very slow still worth the wait
I absolutely love dining at Lemonleaf Grill; the atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly. Their green curry is rich and creamy, and the fresh spring rolls are a must-try. This place never disappoints!
One of my favs, always excellent food and service. Taste explosion. 🔥👅💦👏
Can't tell you how many times that my order is wrong when I call for pick up. Done with this place , food may be good but they suck at taking orders
My wife and I, along with many of our friends have been frequenting this gem of a restaurant for the past 20 years. The food is delicious and abundant and very consistent in its super taste and quality.
Food is good but the service is terrible. They took 40 minutes to come take our order, and when they came to take our plates they dropped the check without asking. We weren’t done, we didn’t even get to see the dessert menu. Horrible horrible service.
The weather was just Peeerrrrfect to enjoy delicious Thai food!!
Went to Lemon Leaf in Hicksville with family - it is one of our favorite joints - the food is tasty, service is quick and the ambiance is very homely.
We like to start of with the Tom Yum soup & chicken satay, but this time we also ordered Thai fried shrimp with walnut - they had some sort of sweet sauce on top - it tasted different, but in a good way!!
Main course usually is Panag Curry ( so tasty, so so tasty...) Basil Chicken, String Beans with shrimp, Chicken fried rice, Pad Thai... every dish was made to perfection!
Thank you Lord!!
Overall the place is nice, but I had a horrible experience. The waitresses had attitude and never came to the table. Several times I had to ask for things I ordered and never received. When I explained how I felt, they just shrugged it off. Definitely won’t be coming back!
we were a group of ladies and all of us loved the food. our server was very sweet and patient with us. Always love dining here.
Delicious pad Thai
Lemonleaf Grill offers an authentic Thai dining experience with a delightful fusion of flavors. From vibrant curries to savory stir-fries, each dish is a culinary delight. The cozy ambiance complements the exceptional service, making Lemonleaf Grill a standout choice for Thai cuisine enthusiasts.
Chicken pad Thai with Chinese broccoli. Delicious 😋
The food is great the services is good prices are very affordable you go out full or with a doggie bag I recommended the pork shops and the pineapple fries rice with the choice of shrimps, meat, pork. I like it much
One of the best places to get Thai curries. Their curries are not oily but robust in flavors. I especially like the red (Penang) curry and the pineapple curry. The basil fried rice as well as the pineapple fried rice are delicious.
We love getting the Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodles. Very big portions
Grilled pork chop and satay was ver good.
We usually love this place, but we recently had a VERY bad experience. I will be reporting this restaurant to the FDA.
My girlfriend has Celiac disease. If she consumes wheat then she is violently ill and sometimes fatigued and in physical pain for days - like cannot work kind of pain.
We called before we came. I told them girlfriend has Celiac and asked about gluten options for a specific meal - the Mee Ga Ti - and they assured me that the noodle itself was gluten free (rice noodle), but they would substitute the sauce.
We came and ordered and once again made it clear she has Celiac. They said the fried tofu was not Gluten Free, so we took that out of the order and just substituted the new Gluten Free sauce.
The order comes. My girlfriend eats a decent amount. Finds fried tofu in it and freaks out because it means she is going to be suffering later, so we notify them that the meal is contaminated with Gluten. They tell us they will make it again.
Then they come back and tell us that they made a mistake and that the noodles are NOT actually gluten free. My girlfriend really freaks out because it means that she is most definitely going to be in a lot of pain and suffering later considering how much she ate. She was crying and obviously very upset and we just needed to get home to tend to her.
So, to recap. I called and I was assured that the noodles in the Mi-Ga Ti were Gluten Free. Then they made the meal knowing she has Celiac and didn't think to check if the noodles were, in fact, Gluten Free. Then they still added the fried tofu.
After all this, they charged me for my meal, but very kindly didn't charge us for the poison they served her. I am going to be reporting this restaurant to the FDA. It's a shame, because I really liked going here before this.
Not a bad option for thai food in Long Island
Food was amazing, definitely recommend the pineapple coconut fried rice. Service was sweet!
It is the best Thai food. I missed this place. Used to order takeout a few times a month. Moved from the area several years ago, but picked up some food as I was driving by the area.
Good food and service is quick
Medium-sized restaurant; not a hole in the wall and not a huge restaurant. Tables had tablecloths on them with knives and forks placed like at a fancy restaurant, so the overall vibe of the restaurant leans more toward fancy as opposed to chill, although there is a lot of wood in the restaurant that kind of balances it out.
It's on the pricier side, but you get big portions.
The service was good; they refill your ice-water without you needing to ask.
Decently sized strip-mall parking-lot. You can safely exit via a traffic-light.
I had the Basil Duck, which was mostly vegetables, but the flavor was good. Need to try more for a more comprehensive review.
Service was very friendly and timely, restaurant was bright and clean and great atmosphere. Food was delicious, from the iced green tea, the appetizers and the main dish! Definitely my new favorite Thai food. Highly recommend!
Today our family went to this restaurant in Thailand to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. We were supposed to be happy, but we were disappointed by the waitress. A 20% tip should not be too high or too low, so it's not bad! But what we have already given More than 20%. She also gave us tips after tax on her own initiative. It is equivalent to 30%. (Voluntary giving and forced giving, of course, the mood is different). I found out and asked to cancel, because I didn’t sign . She told me that I had swiped the card and couldn’t cancel it. At that time, I was so unfamiliar that I had to sign it. I didn’t realize until I got home that I could cancel it before I signed it. Even after I signed it, it should be cancelled, right? Everyone said yes? Sincerely suggest that the boss should not tell the staff to only focus on money, but deceive customers, which will affect the business and reputation of the restaurant. We regret that we can only have one-time customers. Because it affects the mood too much. We also suggest that even if you use a credit card, it is best to tip the customer Cash. Finally, is the money for the tip part after tax paid to the government?
Good Thai place, but very expensive.
Couldn't be filled more.....with satisfaction...food, service , atmosphere...top notch..
Their green papaya salad is completely vegan, no fish sauce, no dairy, no egg, no honey. Thank you :)
The food is delicious. My favorite Thai place at the end of the day who cares who brings it to you. You’re there to eat and on this occasion, and I have been back many many times they have never let me down.
We LOVE Lemon leaf! We get takeout weekly and the food is consistently delicious. We have done dine in many times and always have a great meal with excellent service.
Consistently delicious food, that is reasonably priced!
I think I’ve been coming to this spot for 18 years or so because it’s just consistently good food. The ingredients used in their noodles are always fresh and cooked the way want it. This is probably my favorite Thai food to go.
Although the food is excellent. I had cashew chicken. Friends had dumpling and chicken. Vegetables. The servo e was awful.
There was only I e waitress and people were waiting even though there were many availed tables. We waited 45 minutes to be served at table.
They rely need more the. One waitress.
Mist distressing is no handicap curb and was difficult for my friend to go over to entrance. No wheel chair ramp.
Love coming here!
This place has some of the best food I've had. Great service, authentic food, my go to place. I recommend the Lard Nar and the Chinese broccoli with baby corn.
Excellent food and service.
Disgusting service ... And harass customers for additional tip after extremely poor disgusting service!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Never will go back food was horrible
This is not the first time that they served me batter without any meat whenever I order crispy sesame chicken or beef. When I notified the manager of the issue, he simply responded that this is how they normally make from the kitchen and there is nothing he can do about it. They also charge customers extra for using their credit cards for payment, encouraging customers to use cash so the restaurant can easily evade taxes from IRS. Making the situation even worse, restaurant staffs provide terrible services with poor attitudes.
I would never visit them again!
Good place for dinner
i love this place with all my heart. when i come back from college every time i will come here over and over again
The portion is good and ambiance is good. However food doesn’t taste authentic Thai and quite Americanized. The chicken and beef used in dishes has a strange texture that doesn’t taste like real meat somehow.
Quality of ingredients is questionable. Subpar Thai food that is overpriced.
This place is fantastic!!! The food is delicious and staff is very nice. Loved the atmosphere and the huge fish tank up front. Will be back!
Food is fresh and delicious. Noodles, veg soups, mini spring rolls, fried rice with coconut and pineapple, and other veg items were great. All their different sauces were also great Eggplant with spicy garlic sauce yummmm. .
If you pay cash you save 3%. Place entire order first because weekend they are busy. Visited this place after a long time and didn’t get disappointed, will try again with friends in the future.
We had been in this restaurant few times and every time we had a great experience with the food. Nice place for couple and for family dinners. Definitely will recommend it for special occasions as well.
First time I’ve been to this place and one thing I can really say the food was outstanding! The service was excellent! I’m very picky when it comes to picking a Thai restaurant. This is a must try… I had the beef salad, fried calamari, and the steamed shrimp dumplings and they were so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.
Great place
My fiancé and I love this place we been coming here for years food is tasty never fails and so full filling and seasonings are to die for
Excellent food and excellent services
I gave the place another chance tonight - BAD MOVE. Their quality of food has since declined yet further and their prices have gone up again. To add insult to injury, they now REQUIRE a minimum 18% gratuity on parties of 2 or more (so, if you are not dining alone, you will forced to pay the excessive gratuity). Further to that, they calculate the tax before the gratuity so you pay another 18% of the tax. To go even further they also will charge a 3.5% surcharge if you pay by credit card.
Overall, the restaurant has gone from BAD to WORSE and they have the audacity to rip you off at every opportunity. There is no need for mandatory gratuity for a party of two, calculating gratuity on top of tax and then still to charge 3.5% when paying with credit card.
I can go on but, I have learned my lesson: If you want good food, good service at a good price and want to respected as a customer, Skip this place.
***BELOW IS MY REVIEW FROM 4 YEARS AGO - IT SEEMS THEY HAVENT LEARNED THEIR LESSON***
We used to go to this place all the time however we have notice gradual yet steady decline in food quality and service with a significant increase in price. Actually, on our last visit I was APPROACHED BY WAIT STAFF DEMANDING ADDITIONAL TIP after I had already left 15% (for a party of 3). Overall, I will try to avoid this place in the future.
Good food
This place has amazing food. NO doubt abt that. I have always done take out from here. We decided to dine in the other day and loved the food. The place is quite nice as well.

The best Thai food around!
food is delicious but the service was bad.
Brought the wrong order two times. Forgot our drinks.
No plate or fork.
This place is kind of tasty, but the place and the service don’t worth the high prices of the menu, and they charge you an extra 18% service fee, for a regular for not say less of the service….
Best best best thai restaurant around (IMO) the tom kha ghai is the best soup I've ever had. Their crispy sesame chicken and drunken noodles are a must here. Ugh I'm hungry now.
Good food good service
Food is pretty good. But I have to say that the filthy fish tank in the back of the restaurant is a real turn off. If they can’t keep that tank clean, God only knows how dirty the kitchen is. And those poor fish. I can’t understand how a restaurant wouldn’t keep that tank looking pristine.
Tom Yum soup, Penang curry are amazing
Definitely the best Thai restaurant in Hicksville/Bethpage area.
Delicious food, great menu. A favorite place for many years.
Very nice place
Muy buena
Yum
Top flight Thai food. Everything is delicious. Pad Thai and Pad Ki Mao is great. So where the spring rolls. We take out usually. Can't go wrong here.
The. Best. Food. Ever.
Great tasting food..
Ordered food testing like Chinese food not Thai. Will not recommend.
Food was tasty and well prepared. Presentation was also great. We had drunken noodle and
Panang curry. Also Thai Tea.
I really liked that they were seating people and most of their tables available because they had added high barriers between them. Food was excellent and served very fast.
I’ve ordered take out for lunch so can’t really tell how is it inside . Ordered a pad Thai with steak simply because it says that scallions and tofu already added to it . However I didn’t feel or see any tofu or scallions in my dish . Beside that place seems fine - they have some newspaper reviews and apparently some rewards hanging on the windows. To me was just a good place for lunch
We have eaten here several times and each time it was very good. Covid restrictions are in place so I would suggest calling ahead incase anything changes.
Food is always hot and fresh.
The Tom Yam soup has some kick to it and is my favorite soup.
Beef Satay is cooked perfectly.
Pad Thai Chicken is also good (but compared to other places is a little drier... but that is upto personal preference).
Definitely would recommend.
Good food. Good Value for money.
Exceelnt food and service as always! Good diversity of food!
Hands down, my favorite eating out place! Only "Heaven", may perhaps have better Thai cuisine, than them! Anything you order, will either meet or beat your expectations! The oranges too, that come as a compliment at the end, with the bill, are the sweetest and juiciest, you will ever eat!
Our favorite family restaurant
Continues to be my favorite restaurant ever. The staff are very nice and respectful, but the food is the best I’ve ever had. If you’ve never been, here’s what you order: Tom kha gai soup (has a kick. Best soup I’ve ever had), beef satay (Use the peanut sauce!), and pad Thai (any meat works!). Boom. Another favorite of mine is the BASIL DUCK (or chicken!) which is also phenomenal! The Minneola location is just as good, BUT the only difference is that Minneola does a SHRIMP SATAY which is even better than the beef, perhaps the best shrimp you’ll ever have. Wish they did that here but I’d say the food overall is slightly better here! As far as Thai food restaurants go in general, I don’t know why but no other Thai food place I’ve been too has ever come close to the flavor explosion that lemon leaf provides in every dish. Every friend I’ve brought here has been converted to the lemon leaf faith. It may change your life.
Great thai food place and good service too. Had a nice bottle of wine but don't remember the name.
Extremely disappointed since the reviews were so good. I ordered pad thai and it had absolutely 0 flavor. It was completely bare. Now spiciness, no sweetness, no tanginess...just plain noodles, unseasoned chicken, sprouts, peanuts, and loose peppers. I hope their other entrees are better because this is embarrassingly bad.
Been in business forever.
Food was great as always. Incase you're wondering, they had masks 👍👍👍
Service good food tasty
The food was great and the prices were decent.
We had a great first time experience. Authentic Thai food with a very attentive waiter. Zero complaints and we will certainly return!
Always on the money
Great food love going there
Veggie dumplings are my favorite with the tofu pad tai
Pretty location, good staff, good food. Red curry was really good.
This is the place for Thai food. Forget the fancy over rated spots in NYC. Their pad Thai is textbook. With the value menu prices, who cooks at home?! Perfection here is what you will find
Horrible service and food and overly priced and told me Jewish people are “ cheap “ that was from the waiter.DEFINTELY STAY AWAY AND WONT BE COMING BACK ALSO READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON FACEBOOK ABOUT THIS DESPICABLE PLACE!! NEVER COMING BACK HORRIBLE STAY AWAY FROM LEMON LEAF!!!
I just left Lemonleaf Grill in Hicksville and I could not be more annoyed. We ordered a steak medium-rare, and it came out well done. My family sent it back and was going to switch it to a duck dish instead, but the manager told us it was dry and better to keep with a steak, so we trusted his judgment. The second one came back about 15 minutes later after we finished the rest of our food, and it was now rare bordering raw. At this point, we just wanted to take it off of our bill. It took us almost 20 minutes to get a waiter over to the table and upon request of removing the item from the bill, they said no since the steak was cooked twice. They wanted to recook it for us, but at that point, we had been finished with our meal for over a half-hour and wanted to get home. We also did not trust they would be able to cook it right a third time. We deducted the amount from the bill and left the restaurant only to have the manager follow us into the parking lot demanding the additional money as well as an 18% service fee for the worst service ever. In the end, we were forced to pay the additional fee as the manager would not move from behind our car. I have been to this restaurant in the past and have never had issues like this. This will definitely be the last time my family eats there. I felt a need to let others know how they treat their customers. If I could I would have given this restaurant 0 stars.
Love the chicken satay with peanut sauce, delish!!
Good fresh food attractively placed. A bit on high cost.
