Thai food , & Good Vibes!
Free Thai tea, Papaya salad, and Deep Fried ice cream!
Unique place. REALLY REALLY nice staff/good service. My food was good. They followed my instructions for removing things from the food and the spice level was mild like I asked. My husband wasn’t impressed with his. The fried ice cream was unique. I try not to eat a lot of bread so I didn’t have much. The portions aren’t as large as other places I frequent but those places also aren’t open super late so it’s a trade off. The atmosphere and staff are really wonderful and we will be back next time we are looking for a late night place.
Food is fine but the prices are high even for 2025 inflated prices. Almost all the entrees are $18, and they charge a 3.5% credit card fee. The signs in the restaurant say diners can “save” money by paying cash, but that is not correct as this is a credit card fee in addition to the already high prices.
Example dishes are Pad Thai ($17.99), curries ($17.99), Pad See Ew ($17.99), and others. They do come with a free drink.
Would not go back due to the high prices and only mediocre food
One of those places that you see and you tell yourself, " I'll have to try it out". I'm so glad I finally did. Went on a Friday night. The service was great and food arrived quickly ( I arrived at a good time. There were already two other parties who had their food. After I arrived another 3-4 parties arrived) .
I ordered the seafood tom yum and the shrimp chow mien. The prices are a bit high but the quality and taste of the food is very delicious. The meal came with a free drink and their dessert was very good! First time trying fried ice cream.
Will definitely be coming back.
This place is my go to after work. The food is Really good and they give you free drink and also if you ordered more then 2 things they give you a $13 dollar off coupon which is really amazing, I really love the food, my favorite part is that if you dine in they give u a free ice cream treat, I loved evething about this restaurant, the owner is really nice and Always give me extra rice with no charge, I Always feel welcomed whenever I dine here or order from here, the service is really fast and the place is pretty packed most of the time I go here, I definitely recommend this to anyone who like Thai cuisine, it’s a 10/10 for me.
A quaint, little place with an outdoor seating patio. Lots of decorative items inside the restaurant as well as the patio area. We ordered the fried calamari, shrimp pad see ew, chicken and shrimp pad Thai, green curry with steamed rice, fried wonton, and pineapple fried rice. We received 4 complimentary Thai iced teas. Didn’t have time to take a photo of all the food before it was quickly devoured at our party.
The food was absolutely amazing. Got the chicken fried rice (not pictured) 10/10. Pad see ew (20/10), tom ka (30/10). Got a free dessert, fried ice cream! Everything was too good even the thai ice tea. The vibes was giving a lot with the lights and most random art pieces but still a cool vibes
The food was so good and I was getting my grub on and forgot to take pictures. I only have two. I live over 1 1/4 hours away and I will continue to come here. Thai beef salad.. amazing, best tempura shrimp I've ever had. That's the one picture I took. Pad see ew bomb and the first rice was top tier!! Service was excellent sat outside on the patio by the water fountain. Free ice fried ice cream for desert in a beautiful sauce. I'll see yall soon!!
The free thai iced tea, fried ice cream and great flavors are worth the trip. The three tv’s were distracting, bathroom needed a bit of care, and the tables moved a bit.
Overpriced, less than average food (doused in too sugar) weird decor with blinking light inside.
Ordered some basic pad se ew and pad thai for $18 each. If you want to charge $18 your food better be the top of the game. Service is so slow. Not sure why this place is highly rated and claimed to be the best Thai food in town. There are plenty better alternative around.
I mean it’s alright but the prices with a card is not so great 😐
Overhype. Fake reviews

This is the funkiest place with really amazing thai food. It's a smaller restaurant but we were sat right away. The soups are served in the big fire device to keep it hot. They serve extra chili's on the side upon request. They can make most dishes vegetarian and possibly even vegan. Incredible service, they were so nice. Would definitely come back.
Came in at 10:30 pm, got service immediately! Food was so fast and sooo delicious. Also, had so many cool decorations. Really awesome place I recfomebs checking it out
I wish I knew about this spot sooner. GREAT service, good prices, open late. Food was amazing too
Family friendly and amazing food.
Poor behavior by a lady on the staff, yelled at us to "sit down" after enquiring about an empty table despite waiting for 40 minutes at the restaurant.
I been to so many Thai food places and let me tell you
First time being here and it caught me off guard when they took my order and said “drinks is on us and ice cream “wow did not expect that ,,that’s what you call trying to beat competitors
Food was actually good as well and for them to give free drinks and ice cream any time you stop by is amazing
Thank you will come back forsure

Waited forever but no one came to serve us. Waitress looked at our table a few times but didn’t come over. She kept serving people who arrived after we did. Ended up leaving.
Anyone that thinks this place is good is blinded by the free ice cream ball and the stupid Harley sitting in the dinning room.
Place smells really bad wouldn’t eat here
Incredible service, good Thai fried rice, and nice ambiance. Not to mention, very attune to dietary restrictions. Such a comfort place in Orange County!

Great hole in the wall type spot, great food and prices 👌
When when is on the way to the 24-hour laundromat on katella going down Euclid you can't miss it. Is lit up like a Christmas tree prominently stating that they are open late. I work graveyard shift for 40 years and I go to places that are open late because it's A hard road to hoe. I really appreciate it it's kind of my thing.
I started about 10:00 at night and they were packed but I got a seat real fast and the food and service were fantastic. I'm a sushi master and I'll tell you world class. good service with in my book is friendly. The owner came over and I told him about this stuff and he gave me a free coupon to come back and bring a friend which I did and that friend still talks bout it. So there you go two
Views in one.
I love their food, very good taste . Good service , reasonable price
Fenomenal!
Unique place. REALLY REALLY nice staff/good service. My food was good. They followed my instructions for removing things from the food and the spice level was mild like I asked. Start off by saying that this place is pricey for the food and portion you get. I’d have to say, they really put inflation in their prices and deflation in the food. I ask if the item serving was a cup or a bowl. They say it’s a full order. Some of my order didn’t look the like portions as the other photos. I’ve been here before. The restaurant needs improvement with interior design and service. Our server never mention about free soft drinks until I heard the table behind me asking for free drinks. We had already finish and started packing our leftovers, the server takes trash and puts it on the food we are going to pack with us. There’s a lot of lack of service and lack of communication with customers. More lack of common sense I believe. My recommendation is to look for better and tastier Thai food. My guest size was four. And spent more than expected.
Ask for Prik Nam Pla
Voooooo…. Spice levels are crazy. Tried 4 it was the hottest. Five is the most hottest. Fried rice is signature dish here. Thai or spicy fried rice is delicious. Best part is the complementary fried ice cream and free re fill of Thai tea. It’s great place for dating too. Soups are okay too. Service is good. You get coupons as well.
Surprisingly good. Will definitely come back here again
Man this place is great!
love there noodles. Super nice people.!
They give complimentary Thai Tea and Fried Ice cream, which on is a plus. Friendly staff and service was excellent. Food portions are on the slightly smaller side, but was tasty nonetheless. Will be coming back!
Excellent food, amazing service. Only reason for 4 star is less quantity of thai curry for $18.
One of those places that you see and you tell yourself, " I'll have to try it out". I'm so glad I finally did. Went on a Friday night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THE OWNER WAS RUDE. SHE DID NOT CARE IF WE EAT OR LEAVE AND SHE SAID IT RIGHT ON MY FACE. HORRIBLE PEOPLE. SHE COMES AFTER TAKING THE ORDER THAT IT WILL BE SERVED AFTER HALF HOUR. THIS WAS AT 10 pm AND THE PLACE WAS EMPTY. Hope my caps makes an impression
They stay open late. Prices are high, portions are low, but service is great!
The food was so good and I was getting my grub on and forgot to take pictures. I only have two. I live over 1 1/4 hours away and I will continue to come here. The thi tea was great and got some coupons and extra rice vary nice people level 1 spice is SPICY for people that can’t handle spice but everything was great would come back
Thai tea is not thai tea... taste very sweet and no creamy or tea flavor. Ordered 3 dishes. They did not taste authentic to traditional Thai food. I can not recommend this place.
Overall it was a wonderful time eating here. The environment is homey and the food is delicious! Will come again!
Food was delicious but the customer service is a high quality, I highly recommend this place.
The food is absolutely amazing. As soon as you walk in the door the servers are ready to accommodate you. The food is delicious and well prepared, plus the fried ice cream tastes just like a churro. This is a great restaurant.
It's a very disappointing Thai food place ever. I'm sorry to say that but we love Thai food so much. We ate Thai food in many different Thai restaurants within the US, in Asia and in Thailand, we do hanging out with Thai people and often go Thai street food market in Thai town. Therefore, we know exactly how Thai food should taste like. The food in this restaurant is not Thai food. It's just a copy cat terrible version of Thai food. They serve papaya salad with pineapple and too much of peanut that overwhelm everything else. Tomyum soup is too sweet, and pad woon sen is bland. They brought the deep-fried icecream for free desert, but it was terrible when the crust is so soggy. Totally disappointed. It was rated 4.3 by over 900 reviews, and last for 9 years, but I don't know what wrong with the kitchen, did they just have a new kitchen staff?
Food was not good at all. The rice was already prepacked and was served in a Togo box even though you were going to dine in. Also ordered a sprite and it tasted oddly weird. It was served in a white foam Togo cup with a straw. I opened the lid and found Ants in my drink. Brought it up to the lady and she said she would get me a new one. Before drinking I checked again and there were still ants. Food came out fast but did not taste good at all. Also ordered their curry which cost almost $19 when it came out the portion was so small and it was a disappointment. First and last time coming here.
Love the flavor and the Service! Friendly, fresh and delicious 🤗🙏
Definitely diligent to serve quick and efficiently! And the free deserts are a delight!
dissapointed iv been to many thai restaurants and this one is a rippoff 17.99 for a single person serving small bowl of curry dish and its watery the quality and quantitiy is not good the free thai iced tea taste like sugar with almost no milk
The service is outstanding and food is delicious. I highly recommend the deep fried ice cream dessert!!
Absolutely no respect for customers time. Took 40min, and when I asked if they can get the food to go in five minutes, the waiter asked us to leave.
Excellent food great Thai tea and great fried ice cream
This place is great if you’re looking for fusion Thai food. It’s not spicy and the twist in the flavors of the food is different from mom and pop Thai restaurants. The service was great and friendly. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The menu is easy and simple to order from also. 👍
Really enjoyed the food.
Had the worst experience ever! We went there for dinner and the lady at the counter was extremely rude! They didn’t even give us a table when there were so many available. All in all we were in the restaurant for over 20 minutes and no one came to take our order! We were waiting forever! And eventually left when it seemed like we weren’t going to get any food! IT WAS THE WORST!
Went there last night looking for some pineapple curry and it did not disappoint, I believe we've ordered here online before but this was our first time going in person, the service was fantastic even just sitting there waiting for our to go order we were repeatedly offered refills on our to go drinks and I could tell the hosts really had an eye for the kitchen.. both our yellow and pineapple curries were excellent, I got a spice level 6 on my pineapple curry and it was exactly what I needed to feel better, thank you very much.. we'll be back for sure
Place needs some upgrades, serving is not worth the price, charged us for shrimp on pad thai but no shrimp was added.
First time here after years of saying I need to try that place. Food was really good. Prices seemed a little high when ordering however drinks were included, portion sizes and quality were good. We were even given complementary fried ice cream and a coupon for a free meal on our next visit. Outdoor seating as well. Decor is eclectic but a good atmosphere. Will definitely be back. One employee who seemed a little grouchy but he wasn't serving us. Yellow curry and pineapple fried rice were great. Forgot what the other dish was but it was good too.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Famous Restaurant in Garden Grove, and it was an exceptional experience. Here’s a detailed review of what makes this place stand out
Thai Famous Restaurant offers a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience. The décor is a harmonious blend of traditional Thai elements with modern touches, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment. Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a special dinner, the ambiance sets the perfect tone.
Pad Thai The Pad Thai is a must-try. It’s perfectly balanced with the right amount of sweetness and tanginess, and the noodles are cooked to perfection.
Despite the high quality of the food and service, Thai Famous Restaurant offers excellent value for money. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and authenticity of the dishes.
Thai Famous Restaurant in Garden Grove is a true gem for Thai cuisine enthusiasts. It offers a perfect combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant ambiance. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
Thai food was good. The atmosphere was a bit off because, one the server (male) was not pleasant to be around with. He seems and looks like he was having a bad day at work!
Amazing Thai food. All our dishes were very well made and the service was excellent too.
It was very crowded when we went so we had to wait a little for the table and a lot for the food to arrive.
Apart from the wait, everything was great. They even offer free drinks like Thai iced tea or other cold drinks with each order.
The server also gave us free desert on the house.
Surly recommend for a late night Thai food cravings.
Delicious thai food with reasonable prices and generous servings. Highly recommend the chicken pad thai!
I don't usually post reviews, but my experience here was bad enough to merit one. Now, I'm not sure if it was just an off day for them, but boy, what an OFF day! I took a friend here recently because I had eaten here about a year ago and had enjoyed the food then. Perhaps, it's under new ownership or they're struggling right now. Whatever it is, I usually like to give the benefit of the doubt, but this night in particular was just bad.
I had arrived at 7pm, asked for dine-in. Weirdly enough, despite dine-in, they serve all their sauces, drinks, rice sides in to-go cups/boxes. This just makes freshness questionable as I'm sure they were all pre-packaged and definitely not made to order. They try to impress you with a free drink but tbh doesn't make up for the quality of the food which was a tad overpriced as well. Maybe they rely on the to-go boxes because their plates are also chipped.
I ordered Crying Tiger beef, Tom kha, and fried wontons. I figure these entrees were simple enough. It took 45 minutes since seating to get our appetizer; stale fried wontons that tasted as though they had been microwaved. An additional 30 minutes later we received our mains; crying tiger (emphasis on "crying") and tom kha chicken soup. Firstly, as someone who has grown up with south east Asian cuisine, I understand there may be some regional differences in some dishes, however, this was not it; the look of each dish was just off. The crying tiger was drenched in a sauce that was split (e.g. fat and liquid separated) and it wasn't emulsified at all. For some reason, the beef looked black and rubbery, and since they have xmas lights decorating the interior of the restaurant, I swear it made the beef look a disgusting blackish blue. I still tried it, and what a mistake that was. The beef was rubbery, bland, and overcooked. I was appalled. I looked over at my friend's dish, tom kha soup. It looked like a watered down tomato bisque! When we fished for the pieces of chicken it claimed it had, the cuts looked like butchered leftovers of breast meat! Also bland and overcooked.
I could not believe what I was seeing and tasting. For my friend's safety, after I took a bite of both the beef and chicken, I told her not to eat anything else and that we were leaving. The wait staff, who all look like college kids just trying to make a buck, asked us how the meal was, and in the only polite way I could manage said, "I'm trying to find something nice to say, but tbh it's really not good." Poor waiter offered us some fried ice cream or to swap out our dishes but considering, they had done so poorly with what I considered the most basic Thai cuisine, I simply asked for the check. No doggy bags required, wouldn't feed it to a dog tbh.
They didn't even try to comp part of our meal or provide a discount. I was so upset and hungry, I didn't want to make a scene. I paid the bill and left in a hurry. On the receipt, I left my last "tip" stating "I know it's not the waiter's fault, but the food was NOT GOOD." I took my friend literately 8 minutes away to Brodard Chataeu, which was 1000x a better experience than here.
Given the atmosphere, the food, and the price, I cannot in good faith recommend this place anymore. The beef and chicken looked butchered, drenched in oily residue, and simple side sauce/dishes were all stale in to-go boxes.
Perhaps, these other reviewers had their dinner on a good day but I shouldn't have to gamble on a decent eating experience.
Please, proceed with caution. Check your dishes and make sure you're not eating old, butchered meat hidden in sickly sauce.
0/5 stars
STRAIGHT FIRE 🔥
Feels like home cooked food made with love!
Extremely overpriced and small portions.
Super good food . And such welcoming people I recommend this place 100% thank you very much to the owners of this restaurant!!
This is the first place that has officially beat me up with the spice level! I absolutely loved it. I usually order a 10/10 at other Thai cuisine places and I can handle it without a problem. They gave me a 6/10 spice level and it had me sweating! Awesome joint. They stay open late so it's a nice spot to visit after a long day at an amusement park or a concert/show. Not only did they offer a free drink with our meal but also gave us complimentary ice cream. Big plus! The flashing green and red lights will keep you awake and focused for a late night meal. Service was excellent and personal. We felt like VIP!
Lovely little Thai place in Anaheim. Miss Tammy was super delightful and very very gentle and kind. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Thai food with awesome service. 11/10!
I will say this is probably a good Thai place for anyone but definitely watch out for the spice because it is on the whole different level I have the spiciest rice I've ever had in my life but it was so delicious.
Friendly service, free drink, free dessert BUT food is not authentic and mediocre quality. Obviously they cater to crowd who are looking for quantity not quality.
Order over 8 items and it took 15 minutes to get one appetizer out. Rice items were good but the calamari was greasy and the batter was falling off.
I love the service wonderful place
Yellow Curry is well made. It was a great cold weather meal. Yummy. 🥣
Jasmine is fantastic. She gave great spice recommendations! Very authentic and fresh! The Tom Kha and Beef salad were exceptional. Best Chow Mien I’ve had in a long time, loads of vegetables and great flavour.
Thai Iced coffee was sweet as expected and delicious. Deep fried ice cream was a great way to end a delicious meal. Great service, great food. Highly recommend.
Great food, great vibe, and excellent service! What more can you ask for?! Definitely my new favorite Thai restaurant in the area! Can’t wait to try everything on the menu!
First time here and the service was great as well as the food. Plus, to finish it off you can't say no to some free delicious ice cream.
vegan pad Thai options available.
came with complimentary Thai tea (no milk option available)
closes at 1am 😊
tasty Thai cuisine... impressed with free drink and ice cream
Amazing place with great service and food. My friend and I shared a pineapple fried rice. Pad Thai, and curry. Everything was delicious and the perfect amount of spice.
The person waiting on us was so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back when we have another craving for Thai food.
Highly recommend this place!
They have some great food, good service, and refillable Thai Ice tea.
no comment. overpriced and not good
Old lady was very rude. Had no patience and her presence made us not enoy the food. I asked for 2 glasses of water a couple of times and the old woman, in a rude way said yeah.
She never brought us water until we had to ask many times. We asked for it at the beginning when ordering food. We asked when she brought the food. We asked when she checked on the other table next to us. We asked when she brought them water too. And she finally brought us water but just ONE GLASS.
It seems as if she had something g against us and we were kind to her the whole time we were there.
I started to feel as if it was a race thing. The table next to us that came AFTER US got their food first, she checked on them often, brought them water the first time they asked. They were white and we are Latinos.
Also, she said the meal included a free drink. I got an appetizer and my friend got an actual meal. I thought it was just one drink so we asked for a coffee. The woman was in such a rush to not have to be around us, that she left without answering any questions I had. She brought two coffees out. If I had known that the appetizer also came with a free drink I would have gotten a fountain drink. I spent most of the night thirsty until finally getting our water, which again was just ONE glass for two people.
I never say this but honestly, DO NOT COME. If you want a GOOD Thai food place with LARGER servings, better staff, and better service. Check out Munch Thai food & sweet tea.
Great place to grab some Thai food! Service has always been amazing, friendly and very welcoming! They have always given us a free fried ice cream after every single meal, which is so nice of them to continuing doing. Spice level is a bit disappointing for me at least. Every time I’ve came here and I express how spicy I would like it when they ask, it comes out mild to almost mild. Never spicy at all. But food has always been tasty!
Food is great and staff is friendly. They are busy most of the time. Expect to wait. They offer 1 free beverage per entree. Oh, for you late night snack lovers, they close 1:00 am.
Amazing pad thai! I had to ask to get extra spicy. Complimentary drinks and fried ice cream. Amazing service. I highly recommend.
My favorite Thai food restaurant!! Delicious fresh food!!
Food always hits : 😋
The food is good
The food was delicious
I love this place so much but today I had my first unpleasant experience with my food and service. The food took way long they sat us there for about an hour or so and got the level of our spice incorrectly and my grandson was complaining about the spice it was spicy and we had ask for zero spice on his plate. We did complain and got another plate replace with zero spice. After that we got our tom kha and it just had too much bamboo we didn't complain but we should of it just had way to much bamboo and every spoonful seemed like we would be chewing just on bamboo. The rest of the food was on point. I just hope it was a one time thing and next time I take my family they get it together like they always have in the past.
Tami is very sweet gave us amazing service. The Thai Food is the best here I have ever had. And we eat a lot of Thai. The Pad Thai noodles are slightly sweet and then very spicy. They can adjust the spice level. The portions are nice and big for groups. This place is really cool inside as well. The decor is interesting. But above all great food & service! Merry Christmas!
Absolutely the best Thai food in southern California!! It was worth the 90 minute drive from San Diego county! Service was warm and friendly , food was fresh and the gratis Thai fried ice cream for dessert was amazing! Can't wait to go again, check them out!!
Very awesome place great everything.
Complementary drinks, dessert. Atmosphere is great
Always the best food n service is amazing 😍 my favorite place ever for Thai food
Fired ice cream 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌the best in GG city
Great food and service. Free drink.
Great service, very friendly staff, will come again.
Great food and service. Free drink and ice cream for all customers.
Great food and excellent service! Everything we ordered was on point! The servers went above and beyond!
Straight to the point:
- Thai tea is TOO sweet, not much tea flavor 🥲.
- Deep fried ice cream (free) would be nicer in a small bowl, easier to scoop it, no need to add color to coconut sauce that come with it (should ask if customers want coconut sauce or not).
- Pad Thai is ok, small portion, the noodle is not messy like some Thai places.
- Customer service is great👍🏻 they have tables outside if you want some air 🙂
Good food, great service.
Some of the best drunken noodles I've ever had. Amazing friendly service and an eclectic setting. Go now and try it out!
Excellent food. Friendly and attentive service. Will absolutely return here, wouldn't change a thing about the experience.
This has been my go to Thai restaurant because food is okay and they open late. But after having to wait 40+ minutes for takeout, I am never coming back.
The host only let me know the wait for takeout was 30' after she swiped my card and I signed for it. I would have left if I knew takeout was going to take 30'. After 25' I checked on the food. She told me to wait a bit more. Fair. Another 15' passed, I just wanted to get a refund and leave to get food elsewhere. Then the host told me the cook was starting to cook the food right at that moment. But I already waited 40' so i just wanted money back and leave. The cook came out, the host gestured towards me and told him something. He looked at me and said "Forget about it". I was not rude to anyone and having that said to me when i waited 40+ minutes for food, i was livid.
Never coming back. You should not either, unless you want to wait more than 40' for takeout.
Portions are Awesome! Food was top notch!
The food and service was fantastic!
Complimentary tea was delicious! Place is clean and i love their spicy noodles
Food is definitely good. 😋
The Pad Se Ewe with either shrimp or tofu is fantastic. I tried the vegetarian Wo Sen and I would NOT order it again. I tried my friends chicken Wo Sen which was fantastic. I did not eat the chicken. I only tasted the noodle portion. I realized after I ordered the vegetarian version that they must use chicken broth.
I did order the green papaya salad. It was not good. I haven’t tried anything else there.
You get unlimited beverages. I always get the Thai iced tea. It’s not the best out there but it’s still a nice treat. You also get free ice cream which is coconut ice cream deep-fried.
I live in Fullerton and will drive here to get Thai food.
They are always so nice and so friendly and food is always very good!! My mouth is watering just remembering the hot soup with shrimp and the dishes.
Ok. With that said, the walls where I sat right next to looked like it could use a little dusting. I wanted to bust out my wipes like Mr. Monk and start wiping, but people tell me that’s odd. Again though, great place and food; friendly and delicious.
To be honest I don’t give reviews but this place wasn’t good. Food was bad quality and the pictures from the menu were deceiving, greasy, the fried calamari was fried in old oil, only imagine the fried ice cream.
Very friendly always checking on you to see if you need something the food is delicious and the drinks are good as well the Thai tea 👌👌👌👌👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 love coming here
Great food had to order extra to go for breakfast. After a day of disneyland food this place really hit the spot. My only issue would be the drinks. My thai iced coffee had this weird taste and after trying the water i figured it was the cups that were used. Im not gonna take a star off cause the food and service was great anyways.
Worst Thai food I have ever had.
It’s been 1.5 years since I ate at this restaurant, but I recently made a list of places I went to and didn’t like to remind myself not to return, and this place was one of the first I added.
Let me start off by saying this place gives mom & pop shop vibes and is well-rated, so I anticipated the food would be excellent. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I ordered a Thai tea that tasted watered down and as if the milk, tea, and water separated. I opened the lid of the cup to stir and immediately found a fly inside. I stopped drinking it.
The food was greasy, lacked flavor, and the pad Thai was excessively sweet. It tasted like they straight up cooked the noodles in sugar. Not sure if this is a regional variation, but it tasted terrible.
Moving onto dessert, my group decided to order fried ice cream. It came out hard as a rock. We legit couldn’t cut through it without risking it flying out of the bowl. When we finally managed to get chunks of it off, it tasted like cold, hard, stale bread with barely any ice cream.
Given the lack of sanitation quality, the bad food, and overall condition of the restaurant, I don’t know how this place is allowed to still operate. Avoid at all costs.
Excellent the food so delicious, very clean the ladys always checking if we need something else thanks 😊 😀 👍

Underwhelmed.
Thai Famous Cuisine is fantastic! Right when you park you know this place is special with the zany decorations. The service is great and kind. The food though? Out of this world. Especially the Tom Kha which absolutely blows other places Tom Kha away. If you like Thai food you should try Thai Famous Cuisine. If you don't like Thai food, then this place will change your mind.
Great service and even better food.
Was craving thai food, and came here at 11pm. Loved the food and service! They have free thai tea and refills + surprise Fried Ice cream for dessert! It was AMAZING!
We were 2 people.
Ordered :
- Spicy Chicken Fried Rice #5 spice level
- Tom Kha vegetarian soup #6 spice level
- chicken Wonton
The spice level 5-6 was very spicy compared to other thai restaurants. I love spicy food, and handled 6 quite well, but 7 would be too much even for me. So order based on your spice level
This review is based on service and not food-- unfortunately we didn't get to try the food. The establishment had about 4 tables of customers when we walked in . We were seated right away, but sat for 20 minutes with no water or menus!! Made eye contact with two of the men working and neither acknowledged us. Instead of being frustrated or causing a scene, we decided to walk across the street to Cuti Thai. Best decision for us! Attentive waiters go a long way.
I can appreciate the random and loud decorations, but this was the worst restaurant that I've ever tried. The pad thai was so flavorless and the sugar was overwhelming- that's all I can taste. Complimentary fried ice cream was even worse. I guess people come here for the convenience but if you have standards and looking for edible Thai food, don't come here.
Heard about this place from a friend and gave it a try. The food here is delicious, flavorful, and they have spice options for those who want more of a kick on your plate.
They're open late in the evening as well, for those who are in need of a late night bite.
Highly recommend this place.
Food is very good however the dishes contained mostly rice and noodles and little protein on both dishes. It wasn’t crazy expensive but for the lack of meat in my dishes I don’t feel a value was delivered.
I came to compare their yellow curry versus Jumpa thai on Brookhurst.
This place wins and gave me free rice
went here for my birthday years ago when I took a job that took me around here. The interior was eccentric as heck (which is a good thing)-- there's an exhibit on the wall of a board filled with rows of ties. Tie-land. It was good. The food was also excellent, with the curry being the best I've ever had, with nothing that has come near what this place served. The icing on top-- the deep fried ice cream they served complementary with the meal-- top-notch. This was the second item on the menu which I cannot to this day find a satisfying alternative. I hope this place stays open, with its original recipes, forever.
This is a very popular Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurant is very clean. The service was great and fast. You will get free Thai tea (free-refilled !!!), free iced cream and coupon for the next visit. The food however was really water-down and the taste is bland. No where near the nearby Thai restaurant. If you know how the authentic Thai food tastes, do not expect that here. Plenty of parking spaces and there is outdoor dining area. This is a friendly handicapped facility. Friendly for family with kids.
The young guy are horrible with server
First time trying thai, and I can't complain. Everything was delicious
For me would not recommend it so salty for all dishes we ordered. Tom yum too salty , yellow curry a very tiny dish costed me 18$.
I'm not usually one to leave reviews on Google, but I went there yesterday with some friends and was blown away by everything here. The service was spectacular, and the food was just as amazing. If I'm ever back in Anaheim, I'll be back, hungry for more...
I've never been to the actual location. I always just order thru door dash. It's always fast and fresh and delicious. They aren't a spicy type of place, so if you want spicy, go to the Asian market and buy yourself some chili garlic oil and add as needed. You're welcome. 🙏
Excellent customer service. Delicious food amazing customer service.
The sweetest workers and spicy food. Ice cream dessert was great
Delicious Pad Thai. Very friendly staff and they even included a drink and ice cream on the house.
The best thai place in the town . Been visiting this place very frequently from couple of years . Authentic taste & great hospitality. Worth a checkin 💯
I don’t know how this place got good reviews and we fell for it. Came here for late dinner. I ordered the pas see ew it was not bad but not good. My fiancee got the yellow curry it was sooo sweet like loaded with sugar and a few vegies few meat in it for $15 not worth it. They give you free thai tea which was super sweet too. Just go somewhere else.
The food is delicious and flavorful! If you love spicy then you’ll love this place as they’re very serious about their spicy flavors and it’s true, they give you free Thai tea and ice cream!
