Food's still good but not the same as before the pandemic. Nothing to write home about. The miserable looking boy that served us acted like his dog just got run over by a truck. I hope he's not forced to work for free by the owners smfh. The food was good and came out quickly. we're going somewhere else next time though.
Our family's first visit here and it was an overall good experience. The food was better than where we normally go due to distance, but worth the extra time & miles. 😊
We ordered:
1. Blood clams sauteed with onions and bell peppers: clams were a bit chewy but overall flavoring was great.
2. Thai Papaya salad: we ordered no spicy but it did come out spicier than we expected. Still good and satisfied my spicy cravings.
3. Pad Thai with tofu: This turned out to be the family's favorite dish for the evening. The flavor was well-balanced and reminded me of the pad thai that we had in Thailand.
4. Boat Noodles: My son enjoyed his order... Minus the tripe. 😅
5. Beef Larb: Spicy & perfectly salted. Hit the right taste buds and the right cravings.
6. Thai/Lao Sukiyaki: It was ok. I really didn't know what to expect, but was not my favorite dish of the evening.
When we come back, we're going to definitely try some other items!
Tried bit of everything with my colleagues. Taste is real authentic with homemade feel to the dishes. We enjoyed the soup and fried fish which were very good. Other dishes such a Lao sausages were quite good with cabbage and herbs with sticky rice. Nice place to eat authentic Lao and Thai dishes.
Very authentic. I really like the wings and stir fry. The owner had a beer with us. Very cozy

Es lo mejor de comida me gusta está limpio el lugar y muy bien servicio lo recomiendo
Everything authentic!! Food and service was great. Felt like i was back in laos
Crispy pork is dry, meat in the pad see ew was dry. The chicken satay is dry and not good. The noodles had good flavor, and so did the veggies. They just don't know how to do meat. I wouldn't recommend this place.
great place, good service and the food awesome, my family enjoyed very much, definitely will come back.
Perfect place to be for steam rice, pork ribs and tom yum soup and some Laos beer!

Really great Laos/Thai place! The pad thai had noodles that were a little chewier than expected but very tasty. The green curry was amazing as well as the crying tiger.
The service was also great and our server was very kind and sweet.
The owner just yelled at me when I went to pick up my phone order. Did not even greet me when i came inside and just looked at me angry like im a hassle that is bothering them. He procced to yell at me "What do you want" While staring at me angrily. Placed a phone order 20 mins before coming in and still have to wait 10 more minutes. First time coming, and this would be my last. Would highly recommended if you want to be treated like a beggar, not a customer.
Another Great Lao food!! We need more Lao restaurant in Orange County!! Another Great spot!! I'll be back soon!! Can't wait for them sticky rice and fried pork!! And and fried beef jerky
Peaceful and quiet place. Food and service are amazing. The Thai and Lao menu combine the plates perfectly and gives you an option for everyone in your table.
This place is very small , & owner named XAY , is very attentive to customer's need . Eventhough food are very expensive , it taste good on an average , especially the noodle chicken curry w/chicken feet & blood . My other favorite dish is their Crying Tiger( Lao version of a beefsteak ) , that is accompanied w/a small bowl of hot tomato chutney, & sticky rice . Lao beer is served very cold , as it is always kept chilled in the fridge @ all time . My husband's favorite drink @ all time . The service over all , is good as well .
Amazing restaurant with super tasty and spicy Thai-Laos food. It's the real deal, very authentic, and the flavors are awesome. If you love spicy food, this place is a must-try!
Was looking to get some Laotian food and saw good ratings for this place. Not sure if this is truly Laotian food, or if I picked the wrong dishes, but the food was disappointing to say the least.
Ordered thai/lao sausages, chicken larb, and beef pad thai. Out of all the dishes, the thai/lao sausage was the only decent dish. The chicken larb and beef pad thai were both extremely bland. And the pad thai only had a measly amount of beef.
Overall I would not recommend the place for the price being paid.
So far I’ve only been once but I absolutely loved the pad see ew! I tried it with beef and it was tender and flavored nicely. Everything was very fresh. The noodles had the right amount of sauce and weren’t overly oily like at others places. The Thai tea was decent as well although I wish it had a little more cream added. The staff were super friendly and the takeout service was super fast. I’m excited to come back and try more!
Ive been looking for a Lao spot and finally found one, Great Food, Great Service!!! Must try...careful some dishes are spicy but very yummy!!!
The Filipino
Wowzers !!!! This place is a must try!! My tummy was happy my taste buds were overly joyfully satisfied!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I’m pretty picky as to where I get my Asian food. Especially papaya salad. It seems easy but not everyone gets it right! But this places yes yes please!! Everything we ordered was 🤤🤤
Good place
I haven't had anything I didn't like here! Great Thai food!
Great food, great service
Food and service was awesome . Every dish was so flavorful . That chicken laarb took it home for me.. I love it ..

Beef larb is my favorite. It's open later than other places. Days and hours. I haven't tried anything else really. I will and update my review. They are very nice every time I come to pick up.
First off let start by saying I'm from Florida so maybe things are just different in FL but I order a large shrimp fried rice for $18 and it only had 6 shrimp in it. Basically paid $18 for some rice.
Delicious and authentic Lao food! We devoured everything. I'm sad I don't have a picture to share. We ordered sticky rice, nam, soup, crying tiger beef, and Lao sausage. Staff was very nice and accommodating to our party of 15.
Good portion plates, but both the pork and beef are very tough. No taste either. Seems like old meat which is concerning.
The prices are high and the foods are not good. I don’t mind to pay more if the foods are good. Thai’s foods to me are really unique in the seasoning and the taste. I ordered six items and so disappointed. How can you screw up on the Pad Thai????
Authentic Thai Laos food mom n pop restaurant, Papaya salad Laos style, crunchy rice, coconut chicken soup, everything was delicious. Even after a year of covid staff remembered name and usual order. Thankful yall stayed opened.
Definitely one of my favorite Thai places in OC. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All the dishes are delicious and never disappoint.
The best lao/Thai restaurant in my times! 😋
I really liked the beef salad and crab fried rice. Their service is great!
Cashier didn't wear a mask when I picked up my order
Good food and service all around, papaya salad is always good!
Good food, but I wouldn't go there again

I like this food
Crispy fried rice, sausage and Tom yum soup.
Great tasting food and outstanding service from all of the staff!
This was my first time here recommended by a friend. I actually went for the jungle lao style papaya salad. But my boyfriend and I was hungry so we decided to order 4 dishes to try out and everything was delicious and authentic Thai and Lao foods. Decided to test out their Lao beer since we were aready there. It was great. Excellent service, fast response. We'll definitely go back even though it is a 20min drive but it was worth the drive. Highly recommended to whoever like asian foods. 👍
Best Thai food I've ever had.
Great food. Fast service. Good value.
Food is always excellent. Comes out real quick. Have been back about four times. Price is good and service is great.
Food was extremely greasy, Pad Thai was not high quality and the noodles tasted too cheap for the prices. Good portions but I wouldn't go here again. Atmosphere inside is small but decently nice. Friendly staff.
Friendly and family surroundings foods and services, cozy good foods. Enjoy with your friends and family.
Service was great. Their chicken curry was tasty.
Ordered the frog meat with basil (#11 on the menu) and was informed that it didn't come with rice so had to order an extra side order of steamed rice which was pretty dry and hard to chew. That and along with the also tough and chewwy frog meat (the sauce was over-seasoned which made the whole entree taste pretty salty) really made me so un-impressed about this eatery. The hostess was cheery and friendly, however...
Really good food and customer service.
It is a royal hotel indeed,I went for lunch with my colleagues and we were treated like prince and princesses, food mmmmm....was amazing, every dish had unique taste after lunch we had ladies from Mangwanani to give us a massage in front of the pool the environment was very welcoming.Go and experience it yourself.
Tastes just like home cooked authentic Lao food. Great little place.
Excellent food. Great taste, good service.
We came here numbers of time in the past couple of years, the place is still nice and clean as day one.. However the food I usually have get sweeter and sweeter and some getting bland. may be they are trying to adjust to the local taste. Personally, I would prefer the way they cook in their early year. Can't complain, gotta go for the majority.
So good. Very nice service.
Great Thai dishes and friendly staff. The dining area is small but very clean. The pricing was reasonable and parking was not bad but can be during dining hours. However, there is adequate parking even if it means a little walking. I recommend the experience.
One of the best Thai restaurants in OC.
Wonderful food, impeccable service.
Yummy food and fantastic service.
So delicious!!!!! We were firstly very impressed with all the kids sippy cup and plate they had for our toddler.. but the food blew us away. The flavors were so familiar, but just a bit different with the Laotian touch. Our favorite was the sticky rice with mango. The sticky rice cooked with pandan and sweet coconut cream was to die for!!!
Amazing food and service!
Tom yum noodle soup is so delicious. Thr flavor makes me reminisce of my multiple trips back to Thailand.
This Lao eatery has friendly service and good food. Food comes out fast and hot! Beerlao and Singha beers comes out nice and cold! Located in a old strip plaza, there's no issue with parking.
Good
As an out-of-towner, I was definitely craving some good Asian comfort food. This restaurant is tucked in a little strip mall and is kind of small (mom/pop looking). I ordered the crispy rice (nam khao tod), raw larb and lao stew. The crispy rice was ok. I'd give it a 2.5 star alone. It was kind of plain compared to others that I have had and what I would make for myself. Crispy rice is hard to find around town so not much complaint on my end as it did satisfy my craving. The raw larb was delicious. The only down part was that I like it sour and the restaurant does not have lime (only lemon). The lao stew was delicious. The meat was cooked until tender and they kept it beefy and not too salty/artificial tasting. The menu is pretty good. I'd come back again and try other items on he menu. Lao food is so bomb!
Delicious food, excellent service, friendly staff/owner who makes you feel like family.
Yummy foods
Great taste of local Thai & Laotian food! Their fried fish is delicious, zesty and crispy with shredded Mango sauce.
My daughter and her Mom almost finished half of the order placed for them before my pineapple fried rice came out. Once it came out it was a very Americanized version and had very little flavor. What flavor the dish had was when getting a piece of pineapple, cashew or meat (chicken/shrimp). The best thing I had here was my Thai tea, which wasn't too sweet like most and they didn't use a bitter tea leaf to brew the tea with.
It's not your typical Thai restaurant from others everything was okay
I've gone a few times and the food has been good every single time. I'd give 4 stars for service
The food is awesome and the price is great.... The warm hearted people who are there are also great... Makes you feel like your at home... If you've never been here you have to come and try it out... You won't regret it...
Great great food! Especially the papaya salad, beef jerky, larb and boat noodle! Delicious Dessert Mango Sweet Rice ! Sweet staffs and clean environment
Absolutely authentic Thai and Laotian food. Friendly staff, excellent service and fast. The food is fresh and the atmosphere is great. Great decor and the prices are great. Check out their red and green curries. Yummy!!!!!!!
