Relaxed strip-mall eatery serving traditional Thai dishes, including curries, noodles & fried rice.
We just finished eating here. We had our 1 yr old son with us and they offered white rice, cucumber, and tomatoes for him - and did not charge us! How considerate & sweet of them! Also, the pad Thai was delicious and the shrimp was plump and juicy. The staff kept checking on us and making sure our baby was enjoying himself. Wonderful experience!!
First time eating at this place; I already have my favorite Thai place I like to go often, but this was better! The drunken noodles are not really spicy, but I believe you can choose your spicy levels, I just didn't realize until after. The pineapple fried rice was soooo good! I got it with tofu, and all the ingredients went so well together, including the sweetness, which matched all the other flavors and wasn't overwhelming. However, my favorite dish was the Crying Tiger! I usually don't care about eating meat much, but the meat was delicious, and so juicy!! I will definitely be getting that dish again! The prices are average, and the dishes are sharable for two, or three people, depending on what you get. The service is excellent, and all the employees were really nice and actually made sure you liked the food. Great place for a nice little dinner date!
Good experience overall. The dim sum was good. The yellow curry was very flavorful although I would get a higher spice level next time. Service was fast.
The egg rolls did not taste good. They also had corn in them which seemed odd. The BBQ pork fried rice was meh. Not terrible but kind of bland.
I loved the menu options. The food was absolutely delicious and came with the amount of spice I requested. The staff were friendly. The wait was too long to get my order taken but food came fast once that happened. They’re busy so they might be short staffed. The food was worth the wait. I will go back for sure and it’s a 20 minute drive from my home.
Closes at 830, we go there at 812. Guy said only to go..
They should consider how business hours work.
The meat tasted funny. Honestly I think they should do an inspection. It almost didn't taste like beef??? Scary
The food was okay, not bad or great. The yellow curry was probably the best. The soup was a bit cold since the alcohol burner was not sufficiently supplied with the soup. The green papaya salad was a usual, nothing exciting. The service was okay. The prices were okay for the area. The dining room was clean. But I still do not know how this place got such a high rating... Something is off here. This place is okay, just about an average Thai restaurant peeps.
I was visiting the area for work with a couple of co workers and we were looking for dinner near by and this place looked pretty good and was well reviewed. I would definitely say that it did not disappoint, the food was just delicious! My co workers were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed their dinner too!
Possibly the best Thai food on the planet. Seriously. I have eaten tons of Thai, from mediocre to delicious. This is THE BEST I’ve ever had. The Crying Tiger beef is truly excellent steak. Only issue is the name. Unless the tiger is crying because it’s so delicious. In which case, perfect name. Not spicy. The sauce has a bit of kick but the perfect amount. Wife got the Pad Thai. Holy Moses that was delicious. Really thick noodles. Lots of vegetables. Perfectly prepared. The Thai Fresh Rolls also ample and delicious. Really fresh. Peanut sauce and the other sauce were perfect. I wish this place was next door to my house up north.

what thai restaurant doesn’t give rice with curry and not advertise that to their customers? overpriced and small sizes and unclear menu
so delish all was soo delicious and tasty . loved it
Just moved to the area and really enjoyed the fresh rolls with shrimp and Pinang curry!
Big portions ! You won't go hungry!
If you’re looking for authentic Thai food, this place isn’t it. All the dishes we ordered were on the sweet side and food is not spicy nor were we asked for our preferred spice level. This is the worst Thai food I’ve had. Nice clean restaurant and service was typical.
Love this place
Great food, reasonable prices. Been coming here for years.
This is the first place that doesn't serve rice with their curry, it's "extra".after spending over $60 for two people they have the audacity to charge $2 for a scoop of rice. Their food has good flavor but the rice is a huge disappointment!
The food was all good and hot. Really enjoyed the crying tiger, the kids devoured it as well!
Good experience overall. The dim sum was good. The yellow curry was very flavorful although I would get a higher spice level next time. Service was fast.

REALLY good soup!
Great food and friendly service!
Wow. It was sooo good. Each dish was easily enough for 2 people (if not 3). They were very generous with the proteins and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Level 3 was fine for us but it's great that you can order a higher level of heat. Oh, and absolutely order extra of the spicy lime dipping sauce. It's especially perfect on the fried rice.
Recommend going with friends so you can try several dishes. My favorite was the pad thai. Partner's favotite was the crying tiger. Looking forward to returning to try dishes with tofu.
When we ordered fried rice with no meat, I was really happy when the server asked if eggs were okay. (I'm okay with but it was a great that the server was so on top of the possibility.)
The prices are a bit high but the generous portions and excellent quality makes it completely worth every penny.
Don't waste your money here!!!
The fetid smell of the meat and chicken cause their food inedible! You couldn't chew the meat!
The waiter is so impolite with his unprofessional service!
In the end, they add %18 for their not good service in your check if you are more than 5 person, while they don't put any information about it in the menu!!!
Don't waste your money, and time in this unreal thai restaurant!!!
My family’s favorite Thai spot the tiger steak is amazing must get it when you stop in you will thank me later
Best Thai food in the area!
I really like this place. The fresh rolls are so super delicious and entrees that I’ve tried are just healthy and tasty. Highly recommended.
This is our go-to Thai place in this area! Everything we’ve tried is so good, we even drive from RSM to come here instead of the other closer places 👀 Super good curries and noodles
Definitely one of the best Pad Thai’s in the area, my go-to Thai restaurant when craving it (highly recommend spice level 3 if you’re a fan of spicy foods)!
Insanely good. Best Thai food this side of Las Vegas. If you're going there, please take me along !
My go to thai place. Service and food are always good.
Great lunch specials
Excellent 👌 Food and service was fantastic. What a hidden gem - if we were local we'd be here weekly.
Always great. Crying tiger xlnt
Always my favorite Thai restaurant, all the foods here are excellent taste, crying tigers are my best recommend, shrimp fried rice also another excellent.

Delicious food, friendly staff and really efficient service times
Our go to for Thai food! Dine in and take out, always delicious 👍🏽
The crying tiger, "grilled beef", is consistently flavorful and delicious although the meat is a bit tough. The spicy stir-fried noodles was pretty good although more veggies than the flat rice noodles. Chicken satay was good. The papaya salad was very disappointing, not a traditional Thai papaya salad that you would be used to, very bland and super sweet, no depth, just don't waste your money. The spicy stir-fried seafood was average, scallops were frozen, fishy, and overcooked so pretty rubbery, squid was also rubbery. One surprise that steamed rice doesn’t come with any main entrée so it is an extra charge for every small bowl. I don't know if anyone would eat asian entrée without rice or noodles. The pricing is already quite high so you would think it would include rice...
Wow! This place is fantistic. Great prices too.
I’m so glad I encountered this restaurant, it’s so delicious. I recently moved here from the Bay Area and tried many different Thai spots and this by far is the most impressive for the price point. 10/10 would recommend and already went back 3 times within 1 week . Beef is so flavorful , chicken is good quality. Curry is also good. I also tried dining inside the restaurant and the service is great. I also ordered take out and it stayed very hot until I got home. The Thai tea is also very good tea and has the right milk to ice ratio. The quality of the noodles slightly has a chew to it compared to many other restaurants where it’s soft rice noodles with an after taste.
Great service and great food love this place!
I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. I loved it. The tofu was really good. The atmosphere was pleasant, and clean. The service was fast and friendly.
I love Thai Garden. I have eaten here many times, lunch and dinner. On this most recent visit, we tried two menu items for the first time, Pad Woonsen and Bamboo Special stir-fry. They were both so good. My fiancé and I like our Thai food extra spicy, and our chef delivered. There was a perfect amount of chili heat in every bite. We enjoyed our entrees with a bowl of Tom-Yum soup. If you are in the area and have not eaten here yet, make Thai Garden the next restaurant you go to. It never disappoints.
Bomb PadThai
The food is always fresh and tasty! I have never been disappointed. My favorites is crying tiger, spicy noodles, pad thai, fresh rolls with beef and red curry!
The appetizers were a bit overpriced, but the main course dishes had big protein portions and fair prices. Overall delicious meal with quick and friendly service, and plenty of parking.
Wonderful food! Love the yellow curry with shrimp!
I had Thai fried rice the taste was very good. I recommend go easy on vegetables.

Great food and service.
Will come back when in the area again.
Exceptional, consistent, dependable service
Great food and good service. Highly recommended.
很好的泰国菜
Best in town
Crying Tiger is the best beef on the planet!! The staff is top tier. Very attentive and professional!;
The food was okay, not bad or great. The yellow curry was probably the best. The soup was a bit cold since the alcohol burner was not sufficiently supplied with the soup. This place has some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had and I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants around the country. Their dishes are super fresh and delicious with right amount of spices. The pad Thai, curries, stir fry is so good. I have not eaten anything here I did not love. Oh and the mango sticky rice is really tasty. You won’t regret eating here ever. It’s the best place and the people who work there are really sweet also.
We have been coming here for 8 years now and we love it! Call at 4:30 when they open for dinner and you might get a busy signal, that's just the way it is. They are busy with take out orders but once you taste the egg rolls or the crying tiger sauce, you'll understand why. They also have very friendly service and I wish I could come in more often but I mostly order to-go.
Incredible crying tiger. Ask for an extra line sauce. Literally perfect. Prices just went up, but hey everyone is I suppose. Full at lunch, nice outdoor seating too. Highly recommended.
Had their Pad Thai and it was awesome! Appreciate their great service as well.
Great food, great experience
The flavors are amazing and the service is great!! I just love this place.
I had the green curry with beef, and it was good. The portions were definitely more than enough, and everything, even the salad and soup was good. My coworkers agreed too, when they got the yellow curry and the fried rice. Would definitely come again.
Best in the area...
Been coming here for years...they're still keeping it legit, flavorful and delicious.
They do not take orders online or answer the phone. There are too many Thai places to order from to put up with this lack of service. Never eating here.
Been coming here for 12 years and it is always a great experience, food is fresh and very tasty and service is great.
Great food and service!
Outstanding pad Thai
Great place
The food is so delicious and service is great!!!
Very good food! I'm talking exceptionally good. The fried egg rolls are actually very crispy and oh my GOD the crying tiger is extremely smokey and savory. Word of caution though, the food is expensive. I'm talking at least $20 - $30 for each person. Also the fried rice wasn't as good as I thought. I got the spicy basil fried rice and it was kinda just wet and clumpy with huge chunks of veggies and meat. Not saying it was bad, the taste was great! But the texture was a bit off in my opinion. Though, either way, very good food! Maybe you'll think the same as well.
Rude people. First time was ok second time absolute garbage.
I used to visit Thai Garden years ago and was always slightly disappointed that they didn't serve the blistering heati used to crave. I went again and knowing that they don't serve blistering heat decided to rate the food based on the flavor and not the heat. I ordered the spicy eggplant dish with chicken and the flavor was superb. I enjoyed every bite. The only reason for the 4 star review is because the service was quite slow.
I haven't been here in years and was originally coming here tonight because I had planned on cooking my own food at the table like Korean BBQ. Come to find out, this establishment doesn't offer that anymore; the grills in the tabke still remain as a reminder.
I stayed for the service as it was impeccable. I'll go again for the food as everything we ordered was spot on.
We enjoyed the chicken satay and the fresh roll appetizers that were promptly brought before our meal. My party opted for the shrimp with our spring rolls. The attention to detail on the presentation as well as the preparation was just perfect. Solid bite of everything in the roll to balance the flavors; just as I would make them at home. The chicken satay could not have been cooked better. Still moist with just the right amount of bite to remind you you're eating meat.
The pork fried rice was done very well and bursting with flavor and the steak for my crying tiger was absolutely perfect and tender.
The sauces are what will make you crave this place. The peanut sauce with our satay and the fresh rolls is a wonderful balance of nutty and sweet while the lime sauce is salty and slightly pungent and just keeps reminding you there is more food on the table to dip in. The lime suave does not have an overly powerful fish sauce taste (that I personally enjoy) but it is still just as addictive and likely well suited for people not accustomed to fish suace.
With the impeccable service this place is a 10 out of 10.
Ok
I order the vegetarian yellow curry and it is delicious every single time. The service is amazing not to mention you get a free drink with each order.
Great food with very kind staff!
Been going to this restaurant for two years, always a phone order. They took my order and confirmed it, but because they were busier than usual they didn't even put it in the system. After standing there for twenty minutes they told me they didn't have the order I placed 30 minutes prior to that. Had a long day and was hungry, won't be going back.
My favorite Thai place when I'm in town
Food and service was really good. The Crying Tiger and fresh spring rolls were extremely flavorful. Will definitely return when in the area.
We will not return. The food was passable.
Always great food and amazing service!!!
Tasty and reasonably priced. Ask for extra chili if you're into spice because they make the dishes labeled spicy pretty tame.
Awesomeness!!!!!
Best quality Thai food in the area by far. Tender meat not overcooked and dry
Crying tiger with shrimp, is the best in the area. Marinated beef skirt strips are tender and served with a delicious spicy lime sauce. Shrimp is grilled perfectly and served with grilled peppers, mushrooms and onions. Spring egg rolls, fried to a perfect golden brown. Pad-se-ew, wide noodles with chicken, and saute vegetables is cooked perfectly. We really appreciate having access to delicious Thai food at this establishment.
Best damn Crying Tiger in the Western Hemisphere.
I liked my green curry, my wife didn't like her yellow curry. The prices were a little higher than I was expecting, but then they didn't even come with rice! We were disappointed to hear that. Staff was friendly / polite.
Decent food, prompt service.. located conviniently close to FR towne center
Spicy noodles are good..
Delicious Thai food. Lunch specials including soup and salad and entree with rice.
That was one of the tastiest meals that has ever been in my mouth!! Lime sauce is off the charts! Service was great. Everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend.
Go to place in South OC for crying tiger and spicy thai basil.
Absolutely delicious! We had the soup with lemongrass and a chicken veggie dish.
Everything we've gotten has been super good. Favorites include pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, and crying tiger!
Great food with warm & friendly service
Best Thai food this side of the state line.
Good fresh food...
A very great lunch dinning experience. The Thai fried rice was awesome.
The food here is fantastic!!!!. The service is great. Try the crying tiger if you like steak. Very tasty!!!!
Crying Tiger is Amazing!
Delicious food and friendly staff. Ill definitely be back.
Absolutely amazing food. 5 star quality for sure
Delicious food and great customer service
This place is consistently great!!
Thai Garden consistanly has the best Thai around. Try the Yellow Chicken Curry or the Crying Tiger.
Thank you for a great dinner. I appreciate you are open and still serving customers!
Best Thai restaurant in the area!
Good Place and the shrimp soup is really nice to have!
Great as usual
Food is awsome. Service is fast and friendly. Been coming here for years and they never disappoint. The Crying Tiger is to die for.
Such an awesome restaurant! Crying tiger!! 😎😎🙋🙋
Great food, great beer.
Food was great
Good food, likes the crying tiger and pad thai
Fast efficient service even when it's crowded. However the green curry was a little salty.
Amazing every time.
Great food and good customer service. Friendly staff. Fast Take out.
The food and service are great here!
Went for team lunch. Popular choice is Crying tiger (which most of my team loved)... Seafood fried rice was another common choice (again heard good things abt it)... I took chicken fried rice which I liked.. lunch comes with soup (which is good), and salad (not with fried rice). But overall good experience.. but beware, it gets really crowded during lunch, better reserve ahead for larger groups..
My favorite Thai place in Lake Forest! I've taken so many people here and often bring it home for dinner after work. Staff is really nice, as well.
