Classic Thai dishes served in a cozy, garden setting
We were seated right away. So many dishes to choose. We had the pineapple curry and Panang curry with purple rice. Fantastic!! 😋 we also tried the fried tofu. So very delicious. The waiter was very attentive. In fact I felt badly for him because he was the only working the tables and take-out.
We were stuffed but I had to try the mango sticky rice with green tea ice cream. I think we should just ordered the mango dessert before dinner. Man, that was “onolicious!!
Definitely recommend this place. We will certainly eat here again when we’re back in town. Little Siam Thai Cuisine has our 2 thumbs up 👍
Thai on Ventura is a hidden gem! The food was some of the best Thai I’ve had in a long time—the flavors were bold and stood out above other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. The cozy, clean space made it feel so welcoming, and the personal touch of Chef Nina bringing out our dishes herself really made the experience special. I can’t wait to come back again. Already went twice this week.
Amazing and discreet, and unassuming Thai restaurant has become my favorite Thai place in LA. It's a bit of a drive from the Hollywood Hills, but worth the commute to Encino. Each dish was flavorful and fresh, and the wait staff was super friendly. The casual atmosphere juxtaposed nicely to the superb meal.
Loved the food! I want expecting much, because Thai food is a hit or miss. This one was definitely a hit! Pricing was a little steep, but the location makes a big difference. Definitely coming back!
i’m gonna be so honest it looks better than it tastes. it’s just not the thai town one yk? Pad Ord. i’m worried the rest of pad thai is ruined for me bc of Pad Ord… it was so good what if nothing compares? what if i’ve reached reached the summit of this mountain and don’t know what to do next? is it all down hill from here? i hope not. but with this it feels like it… anyways 2/10 it is very bland. this gives nothing.. the more i eat it the more offended i am. i’m eating this for sustenance and maybe some energy so im eating it out of necessity and i need to be sustained. i am disappointed…. anyways go to Pad Ord in thai town bc its really good. shoutout them. i feel like pad thais gotta be an adventure of flavor, a climb to the summit of a great mountain, but this- was a sidewalk stroll to go to the market maybe. just something you have to get through, not something you cherish.
Buena sopa de mariscos y el postre de mango esta delicioso
I am pleasantly surprised, wall in a hole, but food is amazing and service is perfect, I will definitely be there again. I highly recommend.

Restaurant is very welcoming, clean and delicious!!
What kind of service is this, dirty, and secondly, I gave the order and I'm waiting like a fool at the table, I still have work to do, the waiters are stupid, where is the humanity?

Got a take-out. Food was very delicious and prices are reasonable.

They're understaffed and served walk-ins their food faster than a take out order 30 mins prior.
Went after work and was looking for some food. Found this restaurant and decided to give it a shot. Ordered a pad thai combination a pad see yew with shrimp and a Tom yum chicken soup both were quite delicious and I received some excellent service from a woman named Nina. I’ll definitely come back again might have found my new favorite spot
Ordered to pick up. Very disappointed. They forgot chicken in my chicken & shrimp pad thai, and the flavor as well. It was very bland. They didn't even include white rice with the Mongolian Beef. Small portions for the money. Not impressed at all. I won't order here again
Shortly after the New Year came my B-day. To celebrate it, I just wanted to do it discretely with 2 other family members & as quiet as possible.
THAI ON VENTURA is a teeny unpretentious place hemmed in by other imposing establishments. The understaffed work crew worked under immense pressure due to simultaneous phone orders & dine-in clients. How they managed to deliver up-to-par service was phenomenal & kinda hard to explain.
Superbly prepped, food outcome emerged yummier than any Thai meals my taste buds have ever encountered. To boot, the whole range of food menu was & is priced competetively a tad lower than their keen Thai rivals' around the area. Overall dining experience was second to none. Impressed and having received the "best bang for my buck", I'd give it a reasonable 5-star rating.
I am from Indonesia (Asia) and I have been living in USA since July 2024.
Thai on Ventura is so far the best Thai Food I have tried in USA.
Their service is excellent.
They are the only restaurant which refill my water glass after I finish the meal LOL
I tried the padthai. Be careful Americans, it is spicy but it is savory for asians.
One word… heaven
Absolutely incredible food, super friendly staff. Literally always a good choice for a meal and good portions
Everything was so delicious, the service is so good people so nice, and very quiet and beautiful place.
My go-to Thai restaurant. I have always enjoyed all the dishes I have ordered, from the noodles to the soups to the curries.
Our group went today but unfortunately they were closed as they were doing repairs. I am really looking forward to this Saturday when they reopen.
Thai is without question my favorite food and I am an Italian so that says a lot. I genuinely love Thai on ventura. I believe they're Panang Curry is off the charts incredible and they're one of the only places that serve purple rice which is the best rice around.
Prices are unbelievably reasonable and the portions are huge
The food was delicious and prompt and the customer service was spot on! Thanks guys for the meal! ❤
Order the Devil Noodles (medium spice). Trust
Literally, the best Thai food I've ever had. Delicious, flavorful, and fresh. Their dishes are not riddled with oil and they pay attention to detail. I would highly recommend this place and I hope they can open more locations and expand their business because they deserve the accolades.
THE BEST IN LA

I wish I could've taken a nice photo but at least I can say what an amazing taste! I had noodle with peanut sauce and steamed veggies. It was only 8 bucks! I wish I could eat here every day!
The dishes are superb as well as their service.
Great service and exceptional food. Definitely try the Panang Curry and Crying Tiger. Both were great!
What can I tell you, one of the best Thai food in the area. I never been here always order delivery and always got everything on time fresh hot and taste amazing.
I highly recommend ordering from them.
took awhile for our food but worth the wait. will be back
This Thai food restaurant was amazing !

Small neighborhood restaurant with very good food and efficient service. The food isn't drop dead amazing but it's really good. And the combination of service, reasonable prices, extensive menu and really good taste make it 5 stars in my book.
Food average, portions small.
Not too long ago I moved to Encino and started looking for authentic food and found the perfect spot. Thai on Ventura is an amazing restaurant.👍🏼👍🏼
Best Little whole in the wall Thai food ever
I delivered a food order from this shop around 9PM to a young couple, and then I missed a soup and left it in my car. I wanted to send it back to you, but I couldn't find your address, Uber eats hid the specific house number, I turned around half an island near your street, but I still couldn't find your location, and you also gave me a very high tip, sorry, Very sorry
The food is so delicious with really good and fresh ingredients, and the restaurant is neat and clean. Happy to have a new Thai place in the valley!
The food is really good and excellent service
Great Thai food!
The food was amazing, especially the chicken and shrimp fried rice. Bright gave us excellent service, he was very attentive and friendly. I really like the atmosphere of this place, I had a really good time here. Most definitely will be coming back.
Super nice I love the soup thank you
Got drunken noodles with beef, medium spicy. Perfect amount of heat. Loved that it was served over mixed greens.
One of the best drunken noodles I've ever had. I am from out of state, but if I lived nearby this would be my go-to thai place! Nina was also very welcoming.
Loved the interior - music over the tvs showing marketplaces of food and clothing, it was a really nice and chill place to eat!
Had great expectations but not paying attention to our requests and menu orders left us feeling like there were much better places out there. The portion sizes were good but attention to spice levels were off or asking for condiments on the side were ignored.
I live up the street for 40 years and I am enthuastic in supporting and recommending "Thai on Ventura", YUMMY!!...Excellent food!!.....The new owners/operators far surpass the previous Thai restaurants that were at this location, including the long standing and phenominal reputation of THAI AND I ........The owners, Nina and Adrian are AWESOME people......."THAI ON VENTURA " is a food experience everyone should experience!!
Good Thai food. Got the seafood stir fry, while my colleagues the fried pork. The seafood stir fry is well worth it, with an assortment of different proteins. They forgot my fish, but brought it out later. Pork was a bit soggy but taste was alright.
Prices were fair, although I think it's a hint overpriced for what you get. The staff are lovely.
By far, my most favorite place in getting food as well as their Thai Coffee here, Thai on Ventura is a fantastic place to go to. Their service and smiles and knowledge are impeccable and the music they use here is equally calming without being too loud to talk to your other friends. I highly suggest coming here!!!
Food was super good, had yellow curry, papaya salad, Tom kha with veggies. Was honestly surprised by this way of making curry, was creamy and slightly sweet, the best I’ve ever had. Planning on coming back because the service was also excellent, people working there super friendly, food comes in fast, parking right next to it on the street and wasn’t even crowded. LOVED IT!
Amazing food try the papaya salad it’s truly dank
I eat a lot of Thai food and this one is truly 5 star
Great food, good staff they are super nice.
Prices and portions are awesome. This is my Togm go spot for Thai food. They have vegetarian options and gluten free options :)
Amazing , hands down. Highly recommend.
The food was amazing! Fresh, not over processed, and wonderful flavor.
Highly recommend! Thank you!!
I ❤️ the pineapple curry and the mango sticky rice. The wings were great! I look forward to ordering different items.
👌 service! Amazing food!!
Ranked number one in my book!
We stopped here for dinner and are really glad we did. The food was delicious. I had the Tom Kha soup and Kai Kua with chicken. Neither are spicy, but both are flavorful. The restaurant is small, but comfortable. Be sure to get the mango sticky rice for dessert. Delicious.
Excellent food. Friendly service. Street parking ok
Taking a walk on Ventura, I had a craving for Thai food. The restaurant I planned to go to didn't open till 4pm so I searched the web and found Thai on Ventura had 5 star ratings, was open, and only two blocks away. So glad the other restaurant was closed! Thai on Ventura definitely lived up to it's 5 star rating! It's a small intimate restaurant with very nice and accommodating staff. The menu is extensive with several Thai favorites. I settled on the crab fried rice, made with real crab, and the yellow curry. Both were delicious, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. I definitely recommend Thai on Ventura and am looking forward to trying other delectable dishes on their menu!
Food and service were amazing. I’ll definitely be back.
Was around the Encino area and craving Thai seafood. The food at this small restaurant really hit the spot and I will definitely return when in the area again.
Great food and nice service
The food is really delicious here and the service is as great. Try them out when you get a chance
Great food, expansive menu. Staff is very nice and friendly
Delicious food with very friendly staff! A pleasant experience in an intimate setting.
Great food, pad Thai was amazing. Also gives a great size portion so I had leftovers to take home. Great service as well, Nina is awesome.
I stopped by this place after work. It was truly an exceptional experience that left me craving more. The service was amazing! I will be back.
Outstanding! We will be back! Very kind and accommodating.
The food here is amazing. The mussels broth had a delicious keffir lime flavor and the beef nam tok was deliciously tangy and zesty. Service was fantastic. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant.
A small quaint and cozy atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was on point as well. I would go back when in the area. Stay open late so that's a plus as well.
I went here for my bday and the food was amazing. Honestly might be the best Thai food in LA
And the service was incredible. I will definitely come back. Thanks for such a nice dinner !!!
As a weary Scottish couple we stumbled on this lovely resteraunt. The food was delicious and the service was delightful. We went again tonight before flying off to Scotland tomorrow. Can't recommend it enough.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and incredibly delicious. Highly recommend coming here, very cute for a date or just a nice spot to enjoy some amazing food. Service was awesome, very friendly staff. All around amazing!
Great staff and amazing atmosphere. This cute little Thai place is a great place to come with friends, family and loved ones. They really treat you like family over here. I can’t wait to come again.
Ps. The cheese wontons are my favorite. Best I’ve had in LA in my 2 years of living here.
I love their tom kha 🤤
We found this restaurant just by chance and saw the Yelp reviews, which motivated us to try it.
The restaurant itself is small and they made the best of the limited space. Nevertheless the atmosphere is cozy, nice soft jazz music is playing in the background and it’s absolutely clean. The service is very friendly.
The menu offers a big choice of different Thai food. I think everyone can find something to please their palate.
We ordered chicken Satay as an appetizer. The chicken meat was deliciously flavored & juicy. The TOM KHA SEAFOOD SOUP
(Coconut soup with mixed seafood, lemon grass broth, kaffir lime leaves, lime juice, coconut milk, mushrooms and fresh chili) was served in a flaming bowl to keep it hot. I ordered it medium spicy, which was quite hot enough for me. The taste of the broth was absolutely delicious, and it was loaded with succulent chunks of white fish, mussels and more shellfish. I loved it!
My husband ordered PAD THAI (stir-fried rice noodles in special sauce with egg, bean sprouts, roasted peanuts, and green onions) with chicken. It was a huge portion, well flavored & delicious.
The price, quantity and quality relationship is very fair for each dish!
We will surely come back and try more of these delicious dishes.
Great place! The food is excellent as well as the service!
Food is great, the staff are friendly and accommodating, really chilled atmosphere. We devoured all the food before I can take any picture.
Really delicious food.
The food was great! The staff are very kind and service was great. Definitely will be coming back. I got the fried rice and pad kee mao. Can’t wait to try other stuff on the menu. Thank you Thai on Ventura!
My family and I live in Ventura County and for 15 + years have driven to Thai Town on Hollywood Blvd., for authentic Thai food but now we won't have to. This place has the best tasting Thai food with authentic ingredients and flavors. The food is absolutely delicious... exquisite. AUTHENTIC! For example, the Tum Yum soup is the best. Fresh ingredients and the shrimp is never rubbery (as in overcooked). The prices are very good despite the high quality ingredients used. If you know Thai food, you will not be disappointed!
Nina, The new owner of this Thai restaurant is fantastic. She was very welcoming, and ensured our satisfaction. If you're in Encino, and crave Thai food, eat here. You will not be disappointed.
Stopped by the new Thai restaurant on Ventura blvd in Encino and it did not disappoint. The ambience was very relaxing, the food was superb, and the service was very friendly.
I ordered three items today and look forward to ordering additional menu items on my next visit.
The food was fantastic!! My friends and I had the drunken noodles, red and green curries and the mango sticky rice is a MUST! Prompt and delicious, will be back!
First bite of the papaya salad brought me back to Thailand and everything after was amazing - sampled the curries and had pad kee mow. The mango sticky rice reminded me of my moms. Service was quick, staff were great and the atmosphere was serene. Will definitely be back!
The ambiance is real nice you get a home feeling which is good! The food is great and portions are perfect! The staff was great and the best part there prawns are out of this world. Great hole in the wall place. The food keeps you going very filling!
Without any doubt, this is Encino & Sherman Oaks best Thai restaurant. A GREAT place. Food is delicious and the owners are extremely polite and nice. Great experience.
