Serving Traditional Thai Food in El Segundo, CA
I visited Los Angeles as a tourist and stopped by because I was craving noodles.
The restaurant has a strong Thai atmosphere and is very clean.
I ordered Tom Yum Kung noodles and a shrimp salad 🦐.
Both dishes were close to authentic in flavor, with generous portions.
What impressed me the most was the staff member, Sandra.
She offered smart service with a warm and kind demeanor.
If Sandra ever visits Japan, I would love to show her around!
Thank you for the delicious meal 😊
The place was really really cute! They have excellent customer service and workers are very nice. We took a to go order of Pad Thai, fried rice and calamari.
Pad Thai: pad Thai itself was really good but the amount of meat in it was really less. And the portion was also less compared to their prices. Overall I’ll give 8.5/10
Fried rice: Fried rice was Ok. We ordered spicy but friend rice wasn’t even slightly spicy. We had to add way more chillies to make it spicy. Again fried rice had way less meat portion. I’ll give 6/10.
Calamari: We requested spicy sauce and it went really well with the fried calamari. But calamari was a little burnt as you can see in the picture. We tasted that burnt when we were eating it too. Overall for calamari I’ll give 6.5/10
The owner, Alex definitely has his own take on Thai food. Really nice dude.
I have a very high heat tolerance. Got the medium level spicy on the dishes. Wasn't spicy to me, but would be spicy to people that have a low heat tolerance. They can make Thai spicy if you ask.
The food here is very delicious. Glad we have a new Thai restaurant here in Gundo as all the others have closed.
Best Thai food EVER! I’ve been to Thai restaurants all over the country and never experienced true Thai Cuisine like this one! They really get to know the customers and sometimes give out freebies. Their service is a prime example of what a restaurant should be. Even 1000 Chick-Fil-As “my pleasures” wouldn’t even match the service you receive. The food is amazing and is on a whole another level, I recommend their Green Curry, Pad Thai, Tom Kia and Crying tiger. Every time I leave this place, I feel so satisfied that I keep coming back. Trust me, once you go here once, you’ll get addicted and ask for more.
This place is a gem! Had the #62 Special and it was one of the best I’ve ever had: tender meat, fresh vegetables, and sauce was perfectly balanced. Coming back every chance I get now.
One day visit to LAX the restaurant located close to our hotel. This is authentic Thai food the chef from Thailand. The owner is very friendly and good services.
If I would give it 6 stars I would. This place was so good. The food was amazing. And the waitresses were so kind. I totally would recommend.
My mom and I went to Thailandia at night before heading back to San Diego. The location is very convenient, just 9 minutes away from the airport. We were warmly welcomed by the kind manager, and Alex, the owner, was attentive, friendly, and polite. His service was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tom yum, yum woon sen which was perfectly cooked and made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was cozy, authentic, and unique, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend Thailandia to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a convenient location. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Good food. Serving of food are for sharing. Nice servers, fast service.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thailandia Cuisine, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever experienced, even surpassing some of the amazing places I frequented while living in Thailand! As someone who has immersed themselves in Thai culture and cuisine, I’ve spent the past eight years searching for a restaurant in the United States that truly captures the essence of authentic Thai food.
I want to give a special shout-out to Sandra, who made my dining experience even more memorable. Her recommendations were spot on! Sandra's friendly demeanor and attentive service contributed to the overall fantastic experience. It’s clear she genuinely cares about every customer and their dining journey, making you feel right at home.
Great food and very kind employees. I would highly recommend coming
I felt I ate a half kilo of sugars. Probably not exaggerated. Would not recommend.
Everything is really really good, especially the Pad Thai is not too sweet, I can taste the sour and the juice of chicken in my mouth. The curry is 10/10 as well, never eat chicken breast that moist.
great variety of dishes available. tasty.
service was excellent.
As a vegetarian/vegan who is fond of Thai food, finding the right place which has no lingering smell or fish sauce or shrimp paste is hard! I’m glad that I found Thailandia which took care to cook the dishes just the way I liked. I had the Fried Tofu, Veggie soup and Thai green curry. The Thai green curry was outstanding!! I LOVED IT! The service was quick and friendly. Overall had a great experience!
Exquisite and legit recipes!!
My friends and I came to Thailandia after driving into town from San Diego. We were greeted by two very kind women, with bright joyful smiles. They were just about to close, but allowed us to take our time ordering. When we received our food, it was fresh, hot and delicious! Very authentic Thai cuisine! Both women kindly checked in on us every now and then, making sure we were enjoying the food and had enough water. The restaurant is also decorated with beautiful traditional art from Thailand, one of the workers shared. We were very grateful to find this restaurant! Definitely coming back when we visit again!
I came here with a Thai friend who’s also visiting the USA so I can say that I have somebody who can judge this restaurant genuinely. It’s close to the airport so it was convenient for us visiting LA. Overall, we were truly impressed with this restaurant - the friendliness of the staff, deliciousness and authenticity of their dishes. We can handle spicy but we have another friend who cannot handle spicy and I appreciate that they adjusted the spice level for my other friend. We ordered the beef salad, Thai red curry, crispy pork basil and of course mango sticky rice. I was a bit skeptical with the mango sticky rice but wow it did not disappoint, even my Thai friend was surprised how good it was. Sandra was managing the restaurant that evening and she was like our Mom, really feeding us well and looking after us. Kapunka! Will definitely come back to this place on my next visit in LAX.
The host was really welcoming.
I really enjoyed my experience at Thailandia. Our server, Phirst was very friendly and attentive and offered great recommendations. The drunken noodles and spring rolls were delicious. I look forward to going back!
Extremely nice family restaurant. Their curries are very tasty and they are so welcoming, I will long remember how nice they were with us and will come back anytime I am in this neighborhood. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
This restaurant is awesome! Came here with my parents while we were visiting and it was such a great experience. Great sit down service and the food is AMAZING. Best Tom Yum soup ever, definitely recommend the medium spice level.
My life will literally never be the same 🤯
I thought it was loved Tom kha… I was wrong. Until today I have never truly had Tom kha. Run, don’t walk to Thailandia. Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Will absolutely be visiting every time we visit LA.
I would like to point out that this cafe is for those who have never visited Thailand and have not tried its fantastic cuisine. We have been there five times.
In Thailandia Cuisine we ordered Papaya salad, Tom Yam Kung soup, Pad Thai noodles and Pineapple fried rice. First of all - a complete lack of lime in the serving and in the taste of the dishes! The dishes do not have the inherent aroma of spices, they are absolutely faceless.
Tom Yam is a parody of the original soup, just sour translucent water without the aroma of lemongrass, kaffir lime and coconut milk.
Papaya salad and Pad Thai noodles are 3 stars.
Pineapple fried rice was a substance that did not cause any appetite at all. It was served in a simple plate with pieces of pineapple. Whereas not only in Thailand, but even in Sacramento in a regular cafe they serve in half a pineapple. The chicken in rice did not taste like a dish, but tasted like it was spoiled and then soaked in bleach.
Overall, the staff is friendly. However, the answer that customers do not like spices was disappointing. Where can you try authentic cuisine then? People come here only for this. Those who do not like original spices, let them eat plastic dishes from Mass Market.
I will never recommend this cafe.
I do not want to offend anyone, I am just expressing my opinion. Maybe my post will help the management to look at things differently and give people a true pleasure of traditional Thai cuisine. I sincerely hope so!
All the best!
Delicious, first time eating here and I enjoyed everything I ordered.
I love this place! The owner is awesome—super friendly. The spicy pork belly is great, the green curry amazing…: honestly the food in general is great but ohhhh the mango sticky rice is incredible!
We were craving noodles and staying near LAX. Had to decide between here or another Thai restaurant nearby. So glad we came here! Coconut shrimp is fantastic, yellow curry with chicken on jasmine rice was delicious, and the shrimp pad Thai was on point. We also tried an iced Thai coffee - never had one before so not sure for comparison but it was tasty. On the sweet side, but very good.
Excellent Thai food at great prices. Highly recommended.
This might be my new go to Thai spot! Very delicious plates and they are very accommodating. Was craving some Orange shrimp not on the menu and they were quick to make it happen. We also got the wontons, pineapple friend rice and even tried the coconut ice cream and sticky rice. All very delicious and well worth a visit if you’re in the area or close by! Very nice decor, makes it feel very welcoming.
This place was very welcoming and the food was delicious. Sandra I believe was the sweetest and very accommodating. The food presentation was nice. The place was clean, bright and the ambiance was positive. Check them out!!
After 2 weeks in the US eating fast food, we opted for thai cuisine on our last night. Everything was DAMN good (i dare say exquisite) and the owner was super kind and gentle.
I visited Los Angeles as a tourist and stopped by because I was craving noodles.
The restaurant has a strong Thai atmosphere and is very clean.
I ordered Tom Yum Kung noodles and a shrimp salad 🦐.

Thank you for the delicious meal 😊
Service- next level. And all round good vibrational energy.
Food - Bangin’. Medium is spicy for those spice challenged individuals out there.
Ambiance- decked out vibes with hella culture. Love it.
Ordered:
The chicken special w/ egg on top- plus the added side of Thai chili was enough to make me roll back up in this piece next time.
Drunken Noodles- Also bangin’. Loved it. Got it vegan. But try it omnivore if you’re feelin yourself.
Egg rolls - super clean. The fry was nice. The oil tasted fresher than all white Air Force 1s.
Drink - Mango Sticky Rice Beer - Very surprising. Definite must try. It definitely helped extinguish some of the spice. Must try!
Leftovers- None.
I stopped in here after a meeting in the building across the street and I’m glad I did! The atmosphere was fun and casual, the service was super friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. Everything I want in a Thai restaurant.
I tried during lunch hour after I saw the good review on Google. I ordered from a lunch special menu. I liked the free drink that was included the lunch menu. The food portion was smaller than I expected.
Ordered a lot of take out food and they were done faster than they said they would be
We had the greatest time at the restaurant! The presentation of the food, the customer service, also the price. I highly recommend!
Love this place yummy food great service
The best garlic beans I’ve ever eaten. Amazing service! Highly recommended
Garlic green bean was delish!
This place was so wonderful - food excellent- service great! - And so clean! I had the soup and the pad thai. Perfection. Oh and graat price!
I live in Hawaii and this is hands down the best Thai restaurant I've ever been too. Service and quality is amazing! I highly recommend
Love this place! Must try !! Food was sooo good I had the to yum soup and Curry panang the owners are amazing too!!
Great Tom yum, great service, and sweet owner!
Heerlijke gerechten, goede bediening, alles top!
Very good food. Love me some Panang curry and fried rice.
Staff is very friendly.
Came here for dinner on the way to the airport. The lady who took our orders and served our food was very sweet and generous. I got the drunken noodles and it was very tasty. Food came out quick, and they were concerned with the spice level (Very proactive water fillers). I’ll definitely come here again on my way to the airport.
We had a delicious dinner here with some fantastic service. We started with chicken satae and then Mild Pork Pad See Ew and Medium Spice Shrimp Pad Tai. My husband finished with an iced Thai coffee that was delicious. Highly recommend!

The food was very delicious
I had an issue and they were kind enough to make it better !! Great customer service, I will be back soon.
Incredible food, very fresh and the best Thai I’ve had!
10/10 Pad Kra Prow! Make sure you get it with egg :)
Thai Green Curry 🔥🔥
Gentle sweet woman waited on me for lunch, and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back for lunch in the future.
The service here is outstanding, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.
When I go to a Thai restaurant I order the basic menu pad thai, then if it’s good the rest of the menu must be good.
Really enjoyed it. Super kind
This is the best Thai food and service in LA! I couldn’t stop eating.
I loved this place!! The food was so tasty and reminded me of my trips to Thailand. The owner, Alexander, was so friendly and shared stories about his life. His staff was very sweet and friendly too. Highly recommend the pad Thai and wonton soup…. The broth was so warming on a cold night. Will be back here forsure!!!
The owner, Alex , provided great service! He was very patient with our questions pertaining to the gluten-free dishes. The food tasted wonderful! The decor is beautiful.
Extremely welcoming & clean place. I have been looking for a good Thai place for a very long time every time. I visit one of my practitioners for work. I come here and I absolutely love their food and service. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to try a good Thai food. They even accommodated my gluten, free diet and also my dairy free Thai iced tea. Thank you for that.
The inside of this place is really nice and food is good thus far for the dishes I had and again for the second time they are on the top of it with refilling water in glass.
Great lunch spot in the El Segundo area. Their lunch menu has a good amount of variety and the quality is really good. I’ve had their panang curry, pad see ew, and Thai basil crispy pork belly and they have all been very satisfying and filling- although the panang curry could use a bit more coconut milk to make the broth just at the right richness. The mango sticky rice is also great; I will always get it when the mangoes are in season because it’s just amazingly sweet.
Amount of food for $$$ is overpriced. Service is lackluster. The desire 4 a tip w/ anticipation of disappointment is palatable even though they know $$$ is high and portions are meager. Engagement is timid at best and dismissive at worst. Tasty just isn't enough for gratitude or gratuity. I hate overeating and I'm still hungry after $17 w/o tip.
I love this place! Best lunch special. The staff are so nice and welcoming, the tea drink that comes with your meal is amazing, the meal is always perfect and filling, and the hard candy they give with the check is just icing on the cake.
Great spot for Thai food, close enough to make a stop by from LAX if you have a layover.
Great little Thai food restaurant. Red curry was excellent, staff super nice.
We enjoyed our delicious meal at Thailandia very much! The flavors popped and everything was super fresh, cooked to perfection. Alexander, the owner, was very gracious and kind. He is rightfully proud of his restaurant. We were lucky enough to find him and his family. If in El Segundo and are looking for a great Thai restaurant, Thailandia is the best!!! Mark and Meg from Aurora, CO.
Thailandia is awesome. I love the curries and the pad kee mow. Highly recommend
Incredible food, great price and lovely people. I had the Tofu Vegetable soup and it tasted amazing. Also the mango sticky rice 😋
Great food, great atmosphere, great service.
Amazing food, super friendly owner!
My experience was AMAZING!! Will totally come back and highly suggest others to visit too!
Food quality is incredibly inconsistent and customer service needs major improvement! Prices are fairly high for what you receive. This place is new so I’d give them a chance to improve but currently I would not recommend
Great food and service!
Great food and friendly service. The fried rice was great and my son loved the chow mein with pork belly. We'll definitely be back!
Everything is AMAZING about this place! The food is out of this world, so delicious, the service is super fast, the hosts make you feel like their family. I love everything! You should definitely try their drinks: I love their lychee lemonade with boba, and it's like nothing I've ever tasted before, so good. Definitely will be coming back.
very good food. very handsome man. 😍
We came across Thailandia on our way back from dropping some family off at LAX. The customer service was refreshing! The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We went in hungry and ordered a lot of food. The Tom Kha, Beef Salad, Dragon Spaghetti, and Mango Sticky rice were delicious! They had a great option to have light sauce for the Dragon Spaghetti which our two-year-old loved. The mango and sticky rice was the best we have had in the States!
This is a legit and super authentic Thai food restaurant that's spotless, has tons of parking and is run by a brother and sister (named Honey - and she is). Try the pumpkin curry with salmon, the potstickers and the drunken noodle with shrimp. The mango sticky rice and teas are fantastic, too. El Segundo finally has a great Thai joint.
I will start by saying that I usually avoid Thai food as it is usually way too much heat for me. My wife and I were looking at the menu posted outside the door and were about to walk away when their manager came out and asked if we had any questions he could answer. When i asked how spicy the fish was, he assured me it was not spicy. I was skeptical, but we decided to give it a try and was very impressed how clean and organized everything looked when we entered. The food was amazing. We shared a coconut shimp appetizer. My wife had Pad Thai, and I had the grilled salmon with mango salad. Everything had been so good that when the hostess recommended the sweet sticky rice with mango, I ordered one to share even though we were already overfilled. Everything was very flavourful. If I lived nearby, it would be a regular stop. The hostess, Honey, was excellent and made a great meal even better with her fantastic freindly service. Honey went above and beyond any expectations as after we left and were a block away, we heard someone call out to us and came running up to us. My wife said, "What did you forget?" but Honey decided we just had to try their Thai iced tea and had run with one in her hand. That is the customer service that is extremely rare these days. Honey, you are awesome. The Jasmin Thai Iced tea was very good. We recommend you give Thailandia Cuisine a try.
새로 생긴 태국 레스토랑
Staff Honey가 서비스로 준 음료는 제 인생 음료입니다. 팟타이는 스리라차 소스를 조금 섞어서 먹으면 맛있습니다.
Fantastic little Thai place tucked away in the business district of El Segundo. Super sweet employees and excellent food. Red Curry mild had the perfect amount of spice and was incredibly flavorful.
This place is an absolute out of the norm experience. Wow wow wow the food was so delicious and service absolutely great they make you feel like family… come here to experience a small piece of Thailand. The owner and employees are extremely nice, care for their customers and make you want to come again immediately.
Pretty good food. The lunch specials are a good deal.
Food is good, but to go order took over 25 minutes. Willing to try one more time, but only because of the food. Service needs improvement!
Very tasty food….Should try salmon panang curry..😋
