Visit Pompano area often but first time here. What a gem. We enjoyed the best miso soup, and we’ve had a lot over the years, simple fresh tuna avocado roll, chicken Pad Sew and shrimp fried rice with large 6 shrimp. All fresh and tasty. Service excellent and warm. Don’t hesitate. Won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommended! Took the family for New Year’s dinner, and the service was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. The Crunchy Salmon Roll and Pad Woon Sen were personal favorites—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. After a delicious meal, we enjoyed a relaxing stroll at the Hillsboro Lighthouse Museum nearby for stunning waterfront views. A must visit for amazing food and a memorable experience!

Yuma Thai is without question one of the best sushi, Japanese Thai restaurants you’ll ever experience. I had authentic Yaki Soba and it was as good as I remember for many years ago in Japan. Everything we ordered was amazing. The wonton soup, shrimp dumplings, and Crunchy Spicy Tuna are out of the world fantastic!! You have to try this place

Exceptional!! The food was supberb (panang curry with shrimp - my husband enjoyed and he is hard to please, JB roll, hamachi roll, lobster roll and spring rolls). The ambiance is so cozy and it feels like you are going to a family members place for dinner; the family who run this really great establishment are absolutely heartwarming, always smiling, fun personalities, busy working in the back, and always happy to share their story which is incredible. You've read other great reviews, and I agree. It's a small place, with three tables of two outside. My red curry with chicken was delicious. Definitely would return if I visit the area.

Food is good but the fact that the dish was missing ingredients that are mentioned in the menu was a shocker. One waiter for the entire place. Took an hour to get our food with missing ingredients. Taste was good. Very funny waiter but same jokes over used. We are not from the neighborhood but if we were maybe we will come back.

This is a GREAT spot for very tasty Thai food. I had vegetable Pad Woon Sen and it was very 'clean' & fresh. This appeared to be a family business that gets repeat business from the locals. We saw lots of folks picking up their dinner for take home. We dined at the restaurant and enjoyed conversation with staff.

My 1st time there with my fiance. WoW.... SUCH a pleasant surprise to have amazing, delicious, hot food! My Pad Woon Sen was perfectly cooked with the veggies and chicken, light sauce not salty or heavy. Very fresh tasting. Seriously, the most delicate best ever crab rangoons. Lighter wonton wrappers than everywhere else sets them apart with great flavors that you can taste. The soup Tom Kha was phenomenal. You can taste the depth of every flavor in it. And the Pad Thai was just spot on. SO glad this place is around the corner from us.....10/10 for food and service!!!!!

We were first time diners here over this past weekend and the food was really really good. Service was great and our server was a real character. Just be sure you make reservations, the place is quite small but very nicely appointed. We will return soon!

Traveling for the holiday from NH I reserved a spot for Christmas Day as I remembered this place from a few years back when I visited.
The most amazing young man greeted us on Christmas Day! Full of happiness & silliness & just the most joyous human I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
The food was amazing and they were able to accommodate a gluten & dairy allergy. My mom and I enjoyed edamame and chicken satay and I had the tofu pad Thai (level four spice did not disappoint 🔥 ) while she feasted on chicken fried rice and as she said “the BEST crab rangoon she has ever eaten…please can we go back tomorrow?” Truly 5 stars in every way possible!!!!

This was, and I do not say this lightly, the best dinning experience I have had in a long time. I went to this restaurant for my friends birthday, and we were skeptical at first, but the second we entered the establishment, we knew we made the right decision. TJ, our waiter, started off our evening off with the most humorous and charismatic service any waiter could've provided. He continued to provide this level of service as the night progressed, with no level of obligation, just pure altruism. He then gifted us free samples of the crab rangoon, which were so good, we just had to order some for the table. I remember mentioning to my friend, "I don't even care how good the food is, the service has been so good that this dining experience has been stupendous enough", but of course the Pai Thai I ordered was some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten.
In conclusion, the humorous and witty nature of our server combined with the nourishing result of the food made this one of the most delightful and rewarding dining experiences I have ever had!

This place is amazing!! My boyfriend and I went tonight for dinner and we sat outside. Our server was so kind and went above and beyond for us!! He brought out flowers, a candle, and made sure we were happy with everything. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the crab rangoons and steamed gyoza for starters and both were so good. We also got salmon nigiri, salmon avocado roll, spicy tuna roll, and a crunchy salmon roll. ALL AMAZING!!!! So fresh and tasty. We loved everything. Thank you for a great experience!!

Tried Yamu Thai Japanese restaurant for the first time today.
I got sushi, but started off with crab Rangoon.
The crab Rangoon’s were very tasty, but such a small portion as the Rangoon’s were tiny.
And then proceeded to get the sushi and sashimi combo. It was pretty pricey at $35 for the amount of sushi that I got. It was though very fresh and very tasty! The atmosphere was very small with a total of six tables, but I was the only one there in the beginning, but then the place filled up with for more tables, so it started to feel pretty cramped. The selection of food was very good on the menu as you can see I posted the pictures of the menu. It’s just some of the items were pretty expensive for what you got, and in comparison to other several sushi places that I’ve gone to in the past it was not the best value. I did buy an additional spicy tuna control as I was still hungry. Although the company is just about six months old, they are starting to thrive so I think that their prices, although seem somewhat high, are probably consistent to what Thai and sushi restaurants are for this area. The host was very cordial and friendly, sometimes difficult to understand, but nonetheless worked very hard to keep everyone happy.

I noticed this place recently and added it to my list to try. Ordered on Grubhub since I had a coupon. The portions are small. The food is not well seasoned. Generally a pass here. The cauliflower app was about the only decent thing but 10 pieces of fried cauliflower for 9 bucks is excessive. Green curry was mostly coconut milk with little curry. Not spicy at all. I had a half a container of rice even with the brown rice upcharge. Avoid this place.

I drove by this place and thought I would give them a try. I ordered sushi for 4 people over the phone. Tj took my order and even spoke French with me. The crab rangoon with the sauce was a good combination. They were freshly made since they were super crispy. The dishes were filling, but I do suggest asking for spice to take the dishes to another level. Drinks were an iced green tea, and Thai tea. Desert was the tempura ice cream. TJ was awesome for serving us, with a great sense of humor.

It is the worst fried rice I have ever eaten. I paid for a mixed fried rice and it was veggie rice and some chicken, it's unheard !!!

Stay far away from this place. Horrible food.
Recently ordered takeout and threw it all in the garbage. If I could give it zero stars I would.

To dry..pad thai..

I was disappointed with the Massaman curry. It said it was a curry with potatoes, onion, and carrots. There were no carrots, only a couple of potatoes, and the sauce was very runny. Also, for anyone with a peanut allergy, there were also quite a few peanuts mixed in with this cashew curry sauce. The fried rice was okay. I will not be ordering from here again.

Excellent food! We ordered take-out on December 26, and enjoyed dinner very much. Definitely a place we will go to again.

This is a small restaurant run by Thai.. I love their Thai food dishes so much. Good quality homemade food. I think portion is a bit smaller but their price is also cheaper. Will be back soon 😋

The food here is delicious and the staff is friendly! The Chicken Pad Thai was delicious especially with the lime and a dash of soy sauce. The best pad Thai I've found! The chicken wings were super crispy and delicious. They practice social distancing and I felt comfortable, the place was clean and well kept and service was quick.

Food prepared with love. They have Thai and Japanese food but generally run and cook by Thai family. Try some thai noodles. Selections of drinks and sake is addition.

We had great experience dining here. It's a fairly small restaurant but the seating is very comfortable.
Food was very fresh and delicious. Appetizers, main course, dessert everything was delicious. Very clean restaurant and the restroom too.
I highly recommend trying out this place.

Ordered dinner here for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the food. The sushi was excellent and the red curry was fresh and flavorful. The portion size was generous and the prices were fair. So happy to have a quality Asian restaurant in the Hillsboro Shores neighborhood! Will be back often!
