Not a real restaurant. This is just a to go kitchen. You won't be able to park

Diner Review №2

Had to fight them twice for a refund. I won't get the 2 hours of my time I wasted back. This is a bare-knuckle ghost kitchen facility under a freeway overpass where restaurant owners rent space. Feels shady. Service is nonexistent. Avoid.

Diner Review №3

They belong in the cloud kitchen in Culver City. This is convenient for pick up. Cloud kitchen is a concept where there are multiple kitchens located in the same location. Food can be ordered prior to arrival to cut the wait time. They will call you when food is ready.

I ordered:
1. Grilled chicken - chicken is very moist and flavorful!
2. Crispy chicken krapow with sunny up side egg - moist chicken
3. Mango tropioca

Super salty and oily

These guys have really nailed the items on their menu. They’ve kept it tasty and pure and are focused on making really delicious food. It’s hard to find tasty, consistent Thai food in LA, but Krapow have done a great job.
It’s an absolute go to

Got the chicken krapow and cucumbers for delivery. Taste wise, very very forgettable. I felt like I could make this dish at home for a fifth of the price and probably make it taste better. The cucumber side was not even a full cucumber chopped up. It was maybe a a fifth of a store bought cucumber. Take your business to other restaurants.

We visited LA for two months from March - May. We stayed close to LAX during the last couple of days and were looking for a quick meal before my family and I leave to the airport. Found Krapow on Yelp and decided to check it out and it was the perfect meal before our flight! The rice smelled so good and the chicken was packed with flavor and super juicy. I don’t usually eat a lot but this time my bowl was completely empty. Definitely a great welcome/ departure meal going out/ coming in from LAX!

Diner Review №9

I ordered the crispy chicken krapow and it was a 10/10! Great portion. It had the right amount of flavor and spiciness. I also got the mini coco wings and they were good.

Even though I ordered through Uber eats, the food got to me at the perfect temperature. They have great sustainable packaging. 10/10 overall experience. I hope to one day visit the actual establishment and get my food hot and ready. I bet it'll taste even better! 😋

Diner Review №10

It's a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious food. I was blown away by the flavors at this Thai restaurant. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the ingredients are always fresh. Highly recommend the drunken noodles and highly recommend the yellow curry. The service at this Thai restaurant is excellent. The staff is always attentive and friendly, and the food always comes out quickly.

Great convenient food. Parking can be a little difficult during peak hours but the service is quick. I'll be back 😊

Diner Review №13

I can’t understand why they would see how burnt the chicken is and still serve it. It taste like charcoal

Diner Review №14

The best food I’ve ever had

Purely take out, but probably some of the best I've had

What I Ordered: Ruby Ribeye Krapow, Coco Wings

Every day I am so inspired by the incredible business owners I meet. Krapow Kitchen was started by a group of friends who decided to come together to create delicious authentic Thai food. Their mission is to inspire others to create, enjoy, and explore new experiences by building on what is most familiar and endearing to them. You can really see how much effort they put into every aspect of their business. They specialize in Krapow which is a Thai stir fry dish consisting of meat, holy Thai basil, and rice. All food is all made in house from scratch, cooked to perfection, and pack a huge punch of flavor! They originally started out doing pop ups but in April 2022 they opened their first ghost kitchen in Culver City so now you can get their amazing food for delivery or take out! They are available via Uber Eats, Postmates, DoorDash, and pre-order via Tock every day from 11:30 am -  9 pm.

Make sure to check them out and remember to support small businesses ❤️

I didn't get a chance to try the food as I gave my order to my boyfriend but he was obsessed with it! He said there's so much flavor and it's a great portion. I love how they deliver all the way to DTLA. If you want unique Thai food, order from here!! Yummerz

Diner Review №19

I had the signature Crispy Chicken Krapow and it was fantastic! The chicken and rice were super flavourful and tasted really authentic. The runny egg yolk and crispy basil were also great touches to the bowl. Highly recommended to give it a go!

Diner Review №20

Amazing flavors thanks to the chef Almas!! We tried the chicken and beef bowl that had delicious seasoning! I would highly recommend it!!

I want to order again.

Sometime want some very spicy food. Krapow made me satisfied 👍
Hard to wait to experience all of the menu.

Diner Review №25

It may look like your average asian bowls, but Krapow is anything but!
Crispy chicken krapow is very fresh, flavorful, and crispy. Worked together beautifully.

Diner Review №26

Finally some real spicy Thai food in the area! I go for the TNT spice level and definitely hit the spot, warning though I eat spicier than my other Thai friends so honestly beware. Also, I love how they cook the krapow rice (I've been ordering that a lot in Thailand as of recent and Krapow is the first place I found cooking it this way in the US)! I dig both the crispy chicken and the ruby ribeye since I always alternate my orders. Another favorite would have to be the Sunrise Omelette! If you want to try some crispy thai omelete then look no further and give it a go. Their Oatly Thai Tea is also my go-to since it is a lot less sweet than how the other places do it (and this is coming from someone who doesn't go for oat milk! so if you are a constant oat milk drinker then idk why you're not trying this yet).

Recommended this place to all my Thai (and non-Thai) friends in the area and I can say it has become our top place to order from :)

Tried Krapow for the first time when I visited my family in LA a couple weeks ago. It’s only 10 minutes away from LAX which was the perfect for someone like me who was looking to grab some bold flavor bowls to eat after my flight! I got the Ruby Ribeye Krapow and the steak was perfectly seasoned! The rice was also packed with flavors and aromas. I also bought another bowl before I was leaving LA and this time I tried Crispy Chicken Krapow with the Thai Tea. Both are SO good. I believe they use oat milk for Thai Tea which was very refreshing and was the perfect way to cool off the spiciness. . Will definitely be back!

This is like high end thai food at fast food prices - you can tell they truly put effort and attention into each bowl and the ingredients they use are high quality. I've enjoyed everything i have tried so far but the Crispy Chicken is my favorite. Sooo flavourful!!! I can't wait to be back.

Diner Review №30

Krapow was hands down the best and most modern & authentic Thai food take out I’ve had in the US. The portions were generous and I love how I could go TNT on the spiciness level. Everything tasted even better than some of its counterparts I’ve had back home in Thailand. If you’re looking for bowls packed with flavors look no further! Highly recommend this place and will be ordering everything again very soon.

Diner Review №31

The food is fantastic! The Crispy Chicken and Ribeye bowls were were AMAZING. Both dishes are packed with flavor and perfectly blends with the runny egg yolk. Really admire the fact that they have different options for the spicy level, which was cooked perfectly. Definitely exceeded my expectation.

Highly recommend giving Krapow a try!

Diner Review №32

Krapow is definitely a MUST try if you are in town. The chicken rice bowl came packing with flavor with every bite. The rice complements well with the crispy tender chicken and runny egg yolk. Also love the basil crisps that give the bowl extra subtle yet sweet and savory taste. I'm planning to order the ruby ribeye and beaf wrap next time coz the menu looks so good!

Diner Review №33

heard about this new Thai food concept in the area from a homie, and was very intrigued. Got both the chicken and ribeye. Chicken tasted better imo, probably one of the best chicken dishes I’ve tasted yet. Very filling and the egg and cucumber are nice and needed touches to round out the entire dish. Oatly Thai tea and mango tropioca are pure fire. Will be coming back here again fosho

Diner Review №34

Deliciously prepared! Tender beef and chicken with bomb rice base! Definitely recommend this place!

Diner Review №35

The best food ever had! Premium materials, so fresh and delicious, fast service! Will order all the time

Diner Review №36

The food here is amazing!! I ordered the Crispy Chicken Krapow - definitely a must-try! I loved the heat level (went with Medium, which has a decent kick!), and the crispy chicken + basil combo is to die for! Also recommend trying the Mango Tropioca dessert. Light and delicious :)

Diner Review №37

My new favorite lunch spot. Excited to finally have a place in Culver that's fast and healthy, Krapow's bowls have been a huge hit around our office!

Diner Review №38

Yes it is a takeout or delivery only location. But, the food is fantastic. The whole concept of having kitchen access without needing a truck or a storefront makes this much more equitable. I had the chicken bowl along with the mango tapioca. Really enjoyed both and will be ordering again. My only concern was how salty the chicken was. But not enough of an issue that I would give it fewer stars or not return. It might be easier to order via doordash, ubereats, or postmates but in the end the food is great and I have no problem supporting a small business like this

Diner Review №39

The food is every good. The chicken is a bit sulty. The egg and the rice was delicious. If you are on the go and hungry I highly recommend Karpow.

Just wish they were in closer to me.

Diner Review №41

The crispy chicken krapow bowl changed my life!! Deliciously flavorful!! I find myself craving this meal a few times a week! Highly recommended!! Amazingly fresh Ingredients! Don’t miss out!!

Diner Review №42

This Thai food restaurant is AMAZING! I order the Rib eye bowl on “spicy” level and the flavor met my expectations 🔥🔥

Diner Review №43

Great food! Loved it! Recommend! Delicious, flavorful and looks very yummy too!

Diner Review №44

First, you need to know this is not a real restaurant that you can dine in or order for pickup. You need to download the UberEATS or door dash app to pickup the food!!! Somebody should have said this. The food portion was very small and it costs $17. Even I ordered mild, it's very spicy and also very salty. I was drinking water most of the night last night. There was a nice lady to help and explained everything. If you used to do UberEATS or door dash, this is the place you might like. To me it's salty and spicy and pricy for a small portions. I think they should have post a picture says UberEATS and door dash to make it convenient when people look at the food pictures.

Diner Review №45

Great flavors, really impressed. Meat, egg, rice, and cucumber were all quality. Definitely would order here again.

Diner Review №46

My second time having these awesome dishes, while their beef/chicken krapow and beef wrap are second to none!! It's my first time trying their fried chicken wings and thai-style fried egg which I think are definitely real Thai-style.

The wings are flavorful in and out. The egg OMG is very crispy!! I can imagine the hot frying process just like in Thailand. TIPS: add ketchup or Siracha sauce

P.S. Definitely keep an eye on them because they're spreading the joy to Culver City!!

Located in DTLA, Krapow is one of a kind Thai food pick-up (also available on UberEats and Postmates) ghost-restaurant which offers variety of flavors and options to choose from.

We got the following items from their menu:

- Ruby Ribeye Krapow
- Crispy Chicken Krapow
- Beaf Wraps
- Twin eggs

When you please an order over the phone (or online), you can actually choose the spice level for your signature bowls. Which is super helpful as not every single person can tolerate extremely spicy food.

The crispy chicken was so perfectly cooked, I didn’t even realize it was chicken at first. Super soft, it was melting in my mouth. Never had such soft cooked chicken before. And I honestly never had such flavorful rice before, it was so good I almost finished it all by myself lol.

Would definitely go back for the same AND other delicious items off their menu.

Diner Review №48

Amazing flavors! This was a dish that I’ve never tried before in my life. I had no idea what krapow was until now and I’m so glad that i tried it. The taste of basil in the rice is spectacular and complements the heat of the chilis. The chicken was moist, tender and nicely seasoned. The cucumbers were a nice and refreshing addition to the dish.
Not pictured but you must try their lettuce beef wraps. The beef was SUPER juicy and tender. The lettuce was fresh and crisp. But that sauce..INSANELY AMAZING. I dont know what they put in there but it was a perfect blend of sour and spicy.
They are currently only accepting pick up orders on Fri-Sun in downtown LA. Super easy to place an order and pick up.

Diner Review №49

I absolutely LOVE the food here. Krapow is part of a ghost kitchen, so it is perfect for a takeout type of night.

Started my meal off with their Beaf Wrap and Coco Wings. The Beaf Wrap came with butter leaf lettuce leaves, grilled ribeye, red onion, and their AMAZING housemade Thai chili Jaew sauce. The Coco Wings PLUS the Jaew sauce were also very delicious. Let me tell you, this sauce adds the perfect amount of acidity and kick that just brings all the flavors together.

For the main course, I also tried their Crispy Chicken Krapow and Ruby Ribeye Krapow. The chicken skin staaayed crispy on the drive home, and the ribeye was SO tender. Don't even get me started on the rice... It's PACKED with flavor and the runny egg yolk adds a nice touch. I love that you have the option of choosing the spice level (warm, spicy, or TNT spicy) because I LOVE me some spice.

I highly recommend giving this spot a try, and I look forward to watching them grow!

Krapow is located in DTLA Kitchens in East LA. I saw their website online and was intrigued by the delicious items they had on their menu.

I ordered the crispy chicken Krapow, ruby ribeye Krapow and was super curious about the coco wings and sunrise omelette so I ended up ordering both.

I was super excited to try everything, and started with the sunrise omelette. It has a nice crispiness, and went well with the sriracha sauce. The coco wings were absolutely amazing. I loved the hint of lime and coconut flavor in the chicken, the jaew sauce (Thai chilli) that came with the wings also added a nice kick to the wings which I thoroughly enjoyed.

The crispy chicken krapow has a wonderful texture and flavor. The rice tasted really good too, and I loved the little bits of chicken in it. The ruby ribeye was perfectly cooked, I love my meat medium rare, and loved how tender the beef was. The basil fried rice was a wonderful pairing!

The food here at Krapow is delicious, I love the authentic Thai flavors and will definitely be back for those delicious wings!
