Opening day was a lot of fun. We have watched ETC building out for many months and are very happy they have opened. The staff and owners were enormously welcoming and trained spot on. Everything gleamed and what was very subdued when the door opened became a lively hum as folks filed in.

Great creative menu will keep returning guests exploring for many visits. The great selections mean you have to think about them a bit; way too soon to have a “ usual “. However, those lamb chops are definitely in the running! Moist, well seasoned and tender, what’s not to love? And the tako sushi was tender, fresh and sweet, very well made! Can’t wait to explore that menu further.

They have a full bar, I didn’t have any because I was there for lunch. But it looked well-stocked and full of hospitality.

Opening day jitters were at an absolute minimum, staff is ready to receive guests and ensure they are well cared for. I’m very glad ETC has come to the neighborhood! Welcome, guys!

This is the better sushi place IN Corona. I’ve tried Hon, J, Marui and others but this place was the best thus far.

I wanted to provide feedback on our recent visit to the restaurant. The overall ambience was pleasant for a bar setting, however, I must express that the rolls did not meet our expectations as they were not good. The seaweed was specifically described as soggy, gooey, and wet, which was a disappointment. The tempura lacked flavor. On the brighter side, the spicy garlic edamame was enjoyed and considered delicious. The contrast in quality between the sushi, tempura and edamame dishes was quite noticeable.

Overall, while there were some letdowns, the experience was still enjoyable. I believe that addressing the issues with the rolls could enhance the overall dining experience for future customers.

This place has decent food but the layout of the restaurant is really inconvenient if you have to wait. We came tonight and the host missed our reservation TWICE. I had to keep asking to be sat I almost just left. Where’s the manager? This place is a mess.

Excellent, and I usually wait until I have ate at a place twice prior to giving review, so this is deserving, of a prompt solid review.

Entry into the building, it’s open, rather inviting, very clean, with a nice, albeit quiet feel and wood accent and title motif.

Seating, They seemingly were closing a section it was 9p close 10p, as it was cleaned but gingerly sat us were we’d were leaning towards, away from the small crowd, then I thanked David our server, as wearing hearing aids, sitting to close to others makes it hard to hear for me, at our table, the servers, and -support staff.

The food prices fair and the food
were delicious. Consisting the dark broth of miso again, another staple, to the warm REAL blue crab and lobster/langostieno roll, and Bento box.

Drinks, water, a basic… but we order with no ice! It too, was delicious, I mean really… the water, yes the water, tasted fresh, and pure. Try it!

I asked Chase what’s the top two cocktails primarily ordered at Etc -etcetera. I choose the popular “Old Fashion” drink, and it did not disappoint.

Misty noticed how everyone was working, not on their cell phones, not lazing around, bored, but all keeping busy. Very nice! This equates too men and women being focused and task oriented, for the good of the company, which is for the good of the employee!
Furthermore this lends its self to being approachable, like say the customer would want to ask for more of this or that. If their heads not in the game, I don’t bother asking them, which is a sure way to lose our business and one Review star from five! But not here!

Bathroom cleanliness or lack there of speaks volumes to the cleanliness of the kitchen, you know, where the food one eats is prepared.

And it was very clean, I always look for the details, in this case the edge where wall meets the floor. No grime, no buildup, no discoloration nor hair. Gross. And it’s out there people. Electric hand towel disoenser, very responsive and ok quality, I would have liked a slightly larger.

We drove over an hour because we've heard nothing but great things about this place and it was nothing short of amazing. 10/10 reccomend!! The sushi was so fresh, everything we ordered was delicious. My favorite was the GILF, and the assassin, the Mainstreet wrap was to die for. The drinks were also really good. Do yourself a favor and order the Monet. The staff was super friendly. We decided to make this a monthly date night spot.

ETC is overpriced especially for FARMED fish. At these prices I expect to be having sustainable wild caught fish like steelhead.

What you’ll get here is mediocre quality fish at EXORBITANT prices.

Inconsistent with their food and drinks. Baked rolls come out cold and different every time. (Like they’re experimenting or just don’t care)

RUDE bartender with attitude problem. Bartender insisted on taking my phone to use Apple Pay even tho there is clearly a terminal not behind the counter. (HUGE LIABILITY)

Came here with friends for sushi.. Eh, never thought of myself as a picky eater before now.. But it seemed like every sushi roll is either spicy, or sweet.. I can't eat spicy foods, and I was hungry for savory dish..

They happened to be out of chicken. The best dish tried was the Thai sausage, which was really good and Im not a fan of sausage.

Disappointed for the price paid when I didn't enjoy most of what I ordered. It ended up being too spicy to tolerate. Service was excellent, my ice tea never went empty.

Pricey for the quality of sushi. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and then half an hour for half our rolls to come out, and then another half an hour for the rest to come out. Very unorganized. The restaurant was not overly crowded, maybe half full.

A new sushi place in Corona! Sushi & rolls are good. Service is spotty; tend to forget your entire order. The first few times I dined, they had no hot tea! Strange for a sushi place to not have hot tea!? Explanation was the tea machine is broken. Recently dined again and they had hot tea (obviously tea machine working). However, the tea was horrible! I was frank with the waiter and told him tea was very bad and they should not serve again until resolved. I have not been there since.

What an amazing surprise for a supermarket complex sushi restaurant. The service was phenomenal. Larry and Roxanne were so friendly, attentive and informative. The prices were also reasonable. We tried so many appetizers and main dishes which were so darn tasty. Everything we ordered was fresh and very flavorful. The only negative was their salad, it was ok. We will be back asap! A plus, they have military discount.

This is a small and quaint eatery that boasts superior service. Everyone was soo attentive and sincere about the comfort of the guests. From the moment you speak to the hostess at the podium, to the server, the cooks and the bus boy; you are what matters to them. My sister took me there for my birthday. Not only was the presentation of the food nice, but it was delicious. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl and my sister had the salmon teriyaki bowl and we shared a spicy tuna roll. In addition we had edamame beans for starters and one martini and one soda . Our total bill was just about $52. I got free ice cream for my birthday !! Ice cream made this 56 year old feel like a kid again.
I highly recommend it just for the experience. I’m not a high end high class kinda gal, but I sure felt like a Queen there. A special shout out to the hostess Haley and our server Bianca and sushi chef Gilberto. Kudos to the manager as well for managing such a fine group of employees. Two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻from me and my sister!!

Hands down BEST restaurant in corona without a doubt. I rank it one of the best sushi places I have had the pleasure of eating at. Fish is super fresh, the chef is a master in the kitchen and the drinks are out of this world!

I have been a few times and this is now my favorite sushi place in the area. The variety of all of the rolls will give you many reasons to come back to try more. The service is great. I recommend the SASSY OMEGA-3 roll.

My wife and I spent between $600 and $700 the first week this place opened up because the food was amazing. However, they’ve been struggling to maintain standards and stay consistent which is a bummer; we really need some good restaurants in the area and this would be one of them if they were still operating at the same level they were on day 1.

For example, the quality of their fish and sushi was perfect. You could not ask for fresher fish and the sushi was cut to perfection. Tonight, not only was the sushi extremely fishy, each piece was enough fish for at least 2 pieces of sushi. I will never understand restaurants cutting sushi super thick which not only brings down the quality, it costs them considerably more money. The first 5 times I ordered the Asian fries they came with a sesame seed topping. The last time I ordered them the topping also included seaweed which I can’t stand. So not only was the seaweed ingredient not on the menu in the description, it wouldn’t make sense that it would all of a sudden be added so that was annoying.

Overall, this place isn’t the worst, but management/ownership has taken this place from 5 stars to 1 star in a very short period of time.

I feel like what I am about to write isn’t even to the extent of how unpleasant our time was at this sushi place. But i will try to explain the best i can.

We decided to try this new place on Sunday October 30th after our kids baseball games. We live right around the corner and have been very excited to try it since we go to sushi often in corona. Well, I can say with certainty we will not be back. Unfortunately our experience was not what others have made this place seem to be. When we arrived at 450 pm we were able to be seated right away. No wait. Which of course is always a plus. Server did come right over. Took our drink and food order. Drinks were good. (Had the spicy margarita.) but that was about it for the positive review.

We ordered two bento boxes, a chicken teriyaki/rice bowl and 4 rolls. The chicken teriyaki bowl came out maybe 20-25 minutes after we ordered. Then the bento boxes came out about 20-25 minutes after that… and then the rolls… only three of the four came out about after an 1.5 hours of us being at our table. (And mind you, the 3 rolls that did come did not come all at once. They came about 10-15 minutes apart). We ended up leaving and telling them to just forget about the last roll. We just couldn’t wait any longer. It was beyond ridiculous.

Our server apologized one time for the wait. It’s not his fault and i know that. But Several times we had the hostess and other servers come by asking if we were finished, trying to remove all the plates/utensils. We had to remind them that we hadn’t even gotten all of our food.

There were other tables also waiting a long time to receive their items too. One table even got up, told them to cancel everything else they ordered and left without paying for their bill (I believe it was just a couple drinks and maybe one item. Not okay but that is how frustrating this was for everyone)

There was a lady who I assume to be the manger in the back by the bathrooms who never once came out to apologize to the numerous tables waiting. Very unprofessional. I Worked in the food industry and never had a manager or boss who didn’t make sure tables were okay or at least apologize and do what they can to make it right. It was almost like she was hiding. Embarrassing for her.

And to top off the experience there was a couple fighting with another couple at the bar area (literally right next to our table). They started screaming at each other and got in each others faces. I had to get up and remove one of my kids from that side of the table because I thought they were going to start physically fighting and be right on top of him and our table. No staff intervened. Only the bartender, who I assume was friends with one of the couples, tried escorting the second couple out. And once again, no apology from any staff or the extremely rude couple still at the bar. They weren’t asked to leave. (Guess it pays to be friends with the bartender)

We had our three kids with us. Ages range from 4-11 but there is no “kid” items on the menu. Which is totally fine. I am good with a more adult type place. We planned on coming back in the future just my husband and I. But that will not be happening. I am super disappointed and was really hoping for a good sushi place with good service to be right next to the house. I have never had such bad service in corona. We will not be going back.

Sushi is as good as it gets, I can't eat sushi anywhere else now. Full bar, great service, games on the flat-screens, what more can you ask for.

All right this place has some serious management issues. We tried on a weekday. We arrived around 230 only for the owner to tell us sorry we are closed from 2-3 to give our chef a lunch break. Does not list this on Google hours or yelp but since we only had an hour for lunch we left. Believe it or not we decided to give this place another try fast forward to Saturday night. We arrive at 8:15pm party if 4, and immediately informed by the hostess that last seating is 845 and last call for food is 9 PM no problem that gives us a half hour to get seated since they said their wait was 30 minutes and we would definitely get our order in before their 9 PM cut off however, she says I’m so sorry we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to be seated and ordered in time.So we leave, the owner is the person that was giving her the directive btw so you can’t say that maybe the employee didn’t know better we saw the owner. It’s the same guy we dealt with last time. Sadly, I think this is a serious mismanagement issue, and I wish we would’ve read yelp as there were several other people complaining of the exact same issue. This place cannot get it together.

ETC is definitely our new favorite sushi place! The drinks are amazing.. we both ordered the Hancho’s Wish and a bottle of sake- soo good! The food is delicious and tastes so fresh. Everything from the edamame with garlic to the rolls (Assassin and El Norco were just a few of our faves!) The fun atmosphere made it even better, with tvs around the bar, friendly staff, and the owners walking around making sure everything was going well. I’m already craving it all. We can’t wait to go back!

Truly a new gem to the city of Corona. The service and food was top notch, not to mention amazing design of the place. We started off with the ETC Edamame, Gyoza and Pepper Bomb dish. All were accompanied with the PGA Roll and Sunset roll which had a cool lobster tail shell placed on top. Don’t forget to order a Sapporo and a Hancho’s Wish for your lady! We will be frequent visitors to this new spot in our hometown!

Went there today for the opening. I'll start off by saying the owner was very nice(Jesse), he was walking around and greeting everyone as well as somehow remembering that many names😅. The waiter was nice with very attentive service(Cameron). The bartenders did great magic by working up their own take on drinks. The sushi was fresh with good wasabi! Incredible location for anyone lives around it. Definitely lived up to my hype for it to open. Dont hesitate try if your just thinking about it! Also the prices were fair to me for a nice sushi bar.

I would highly recommend ETC. Glad to have a good sushi restaurant in town! Can't wait to go again!!
