Sanam Luang Thai Cuisine
We visited on a Saturday evening and experienced a 30-minute wait, which wasn’t too bad considering how many people were waiting in the lobby. The menu is pretty extensive, featuring a variety of classic Thai dishes. We ordered the Boat Noodles, Pad Thai, Red Curry with rice, Tom Yum, and Combination Fried Rice. The food was flavorful, and I appreciated the three different types of chili available at the table for customizing spice levels.
The service was decent, though nothing exceptional. A heads-up about parking: avoid the adjacent lot near the dentist’s office, as there’s a security guard on-site enforcing towing rules (even during dentist's off-hours).
Overall, it’s a solid spot for Thai food with a great selection of dishes.
Food is so good. Was craving Thai and this is the spot to go!
***FYI: parking is limited in the designated lot. Please don’t park in the other side near the dentist area, your car will get towed****
We got Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, and Red Curry. I got medium spicy for the PAD KEE MOW, I loved it!!! Flavor is so balanced with the heat of the spice. I think next time I’ll get a level spicier than medium. Pad Thai was also very good! The fresh bean spouts and the lime wedge really gives it flavor. The Red Curry was also good but not as spicy as I would have liked.
The ambiance was very well lit during dinner time. The place feels very clean and modern.
Service was good too. They would check up to see if you’re doing ok and refill water without asking.
I would come here again!
It's really the best restaurant where everything is perfect. Price, restaurant atmosphere, food taste, service, etc. But There's no place to park on weekends. Waiting for about 15 minutes is the norm. I think it's the best Thai food restaurant in the area within a 10 miles. This is final boss. One thing to be careful of is that you shouldn't park right next to the shopping mall. Fortunately, there's a man who manages the parking, so I was able to avoid towing. The recommended menu is garlic pork spare rib. It's pork, but it feels similar to korean chicken, and it's really delicious.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sanamluang, and I can confidently say that this particular location has exceeded my expectations! While I’m familiar with their other spots in the Valley and Thai Town, this visit was a delightful first. Sanamluang has always been known for their outstanding Thai cuisine, and this experience reaffirmed that reputation.
The service was impeccable – attentive without being intrusive, which made for a truly enjoyable meal. I dined with friends and we decided to indulge by ordering a wide array of dishes. I’m pleased to report that every single one was a burst of flavor and satisfaction, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence.
The only dish that fell slightly short for me was the papaya salad. To be fair, I have a bit of a shrimp allergy, and while I usually don't have issues with tiny dried shrimp, I played it safe this time and requested that they exclude it. As a result, the salad lacked the depth of flavor I expected. Here’s a rundown of what we ordered:
Papaya Salad: Good but could have used a bit more spice and shrimp (this one’s on me).
Green Chicken Curry: Creamy, perfectly balanced, and delicious without being overly spicy.
Drunken Noodles: A satisfying and flavorful dish that hit all the right notes.
Pork Larb: A fresh and zesty delight that I couldn't get enough of.
Crispy Fried Pork Belly with bell peppers (Pad kra prao): Utterly irresistible, with a perfect crunch!
Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Sanamluang. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the Inland Empire, and I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu. Whether you're a long-time fan of Thai food or just looking for a great place to eat, this restaurant should be at the top of your list!
This restaurant has a unique menu with Thai dishes you don’t see in most Thai restaurants. They offer vegan/vegetarian options. For the price you pay the dish is huge. I would not eat their pad thai because it is very sweet and made with ketchup. Other dishes were well done.
Service is fast and top notch. It can be quickly crowded during weekends but the wait is reasonable. Be careful with the parking.
It’s clean, prices are fair and service is average. Any dish with chicken will be a disappointment as their chicken is very dry. The spice and flavor is missing. The bbq fried rice again pork lacking flavor and too much oil on rice. In a pinch it’s ok but there are other places that service more authentic food.

Good place for a quick lunch; top service and good food
Food was ok
Food still great!
All kinds of variety of food on the menu and authentic Thai food dining experience
Good service, good food! Far from us as we live in Garden Grove but worth the drive!
Never dissapointed. Stapled place for dinner time.
Sanamluang Cuisine has a nice casual indoor dining atmosphere. Their ability to handle a high quantity of orders is impressive. Unfortunately, I think their food is 3/5. Their dishes usually lack authentic taste. The quality of their dishes is mediocre.
This was one of the worst Thai restaurants, fast food restaurant whatever you wanna call it that I’ve ever visited. The food has lacking quality taste flavor. What makes it worse is they made us wait over an hour from the time we ordered and by the time we got our food this was absolutely one of the worst dining experiences.
Large portions. Fresh ingredients. Great service.
Food is so good. Was craving Thai and this is the spot to go!

THE best place for Thai food. Been going here for years. Their price hasn’t change!! You will be full and will not hurt your wallet. Staff is very friendly! I go for their spicy Indian curry and spicy mint fried rice. The vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant is awesome!
11/27/2024 = 5 Star =1st time to order the chicken thing , so good.
12/9/2023 = 5 Star = another spicy day.
5/20/2022 = 5 Star = its been a while didn't visit this place , order by phone for food to go , fast and easy .
6/20/20 = 4 star = It just take long to take order , but food are 5 star , will keep coming back .
The Meal Cost Me OVER $520! Went in the restaurant to eat and when I came out, my car was towed. I had to ask my friend to take me to R&R towing, and apparently, they only take cash or Zelle - total scam! This is more like a "Predatory Towing" scam. For 15 min, I had to pay $520 to release my car. I went back to the restaurant to tell the staff about my situation, and they could only apologize. This is a scam that the restaurant customers have to deal with. Worst experience of my life!
Super nice 👍👍🙂🙂

Came here after a long day of running a vote center nearby, and I was not disappointed. Great food.
Food was the BEST in Claremont as shown by their returning customers. Parking on site is the worst. Car got towed immediately after showing up due to the layout of the parking lot. Be careful. Even if neighboring businesses are closed, it doesn't mean you can park on their side of the empty lot. SMH. Business owners must not have a good relationship of sharing spaces after hours.
Food is okay. Music is so loud it was difficult to have a conversation
This is our favorite Thai restaurant. If you like traditional Thai food, then this is the place as you won’t find “fusion” dishes. Thus it is also one of the few Thai places in this area that serves both Northern and southern Thai cuisines. So it’s a rare find. The pork leg over rice is what I had today and it’s a Northern (very similar to Chinese food in that region). It was very well cooked and tasty. The Indian Curry Noodles were very good as well with coconut curry (not sure why it’s called Indian curry). The service was friendly and fast. The prices were more than reasonable as the owner has done a great job keeping the prices to the pre-inflation level. Highly recommended.

Everything I’ve tried here never disappoints. Always fresh!
One of the best Thai restaurants in the LA area. Always busy especially on the weekends.
A friend raved about the place. Came here for lunch with a friend. Ordered Tom yum soup with chicken, generous portion & lots of chicken, pad Thai with chicken z& shrimp. Everything was very good & service was good, came before the rush. Nothing great or exciting
Horrible. And rude staff. Specially lady up front
Good
AMAZINGLY GOOD FOOD
If u want good Thailand food then this is the place for u one u try it u keep coming back
Great delicious food! Great atmosphere!
Our go-to place for Thai food! Best pad thai in town
Food is alright. Service is decent too. Only issue was it took 2hrs to get out. Kitchen was backed up or something today.
Staff was unfriendly. The lady who helped me was rude. The noise was loud.
A little too loud atmosphere for us. Always crowded at the times we go. Food was good though.
3 stars for service. Food is just ok. Took us 30 minutes to find parking.
Love coming to this place. Great delicious food and prices.
Best Thai food in Southern California, it's a must eat 😋
My parents and I ate at Sanamluang this evening, and I can only highly recommend this place to anyone!
For appetizers, we had Chicken Satay, Braised Short Ribs, and Thai Beef Jerky (which is *not* jerky in the traditional sense, obviously, and which is instead I guess closer to something like candied tri-tip, maybe, with some crispness and admitted toughness, but which is accompanied by a spicy chili-sauce).
Then, we had Som Tam (which is a papaya salad served with chopped vegetables and little dried baby-shrimp). Along with that we had three main entrees:
a) Emperor's Noodle (Thick, flat egg noodles with choice of protein (we agreed on chicken, shrimp, and squid), with a healthy covering of think gravy (I don't know exactly what it is, but it's savory, quite viscous, and the same kind they use on Rand Nah, if you're familiar with Thai food));
b) Roast Duck over Rice (which happens to come with a delicious black sauce chock full of *wonderfully* spicy (I wouldn't hazard to guess the scoville units, but I'd say it's probably midway between a Jalapeño and an Habañero) peppers);
c) Panang Curry with Shrimp and Chicken (a coconut-based curry in which is slowly simmered your choice of protein, and accompanied by bite-sized red, green, and yellow peppers and green beans, which is best poured over rice).
For dessert, we had Mango over Sticky Rice: A *perfectly* ripe and juicy third of a mango, pre-chopped and layered delicately next to a warm pile of sticky-rice, sweetened with sugar and drizzled with condensed milk before being sprinkled with pebble-sized bits of fried rice (it's like if Rice Krispies were somehow turned into fresh chicharrones). Pure heaven!
For those interested in the cost, the total amount of the bill (including tax) was $142.84, and it was so much food that the three of us only got through about two-thirds of it (and one of the best things about Thai food is that it reheats *extremely* well (in fact, I find that if you order Cha-Po (which is a delectable combination of BBQ pork, BBQ duck, and fried pork-belly, served over rice and with two sauces - plum for the duck, and a soy-vinegar-chili concoction for the duck, both of which are utterly delectable), it actually tastes *better* the next day (protip: don't overcook it, or it will be dry; I'd recommend 45-second bursts; no more than a minute - the fat in that pork-belly crisps *quick,*, lol)))). Also, this includes one Thai iced tea (with boba) and three Thai iced coffees (without; I had two and my dad had one).
The service was prompt, courteous, and attentive, and the time between ordering and food delivery was impressively small. Parking, however, is a challenge (not that it's any way the fault of the restaurant), because for some reason you can't park in the Western Optometry lot *even though it's obviously closed and which would *greatly* alleviate the situation*... nonetheless, I can attest that it's definitely worth the wait - plus, their take-out business is pretty brisk, so people are coming and going all the time.
Chapter II: A Full Cost-Benefit Analysis of This Meal
Considering the overall ramifications of these comestibles... you actually thought I was gonna do it for a second there, didn't you? Don't lie.
Point-being, if you live within an hour of this place, you should eat here. I don't know what that is in Michelin-Star rating, but in meta.jpg-rating, it's freakin' awesome. 5/5 freakin' awesomes, if that kind of objective representation of ultimately subjective data guides your decision-making process.
Thank you, and good night.
P.S. I apologize for the disheveled quality of the photo; it has been cropped from a family picture one of the wait-staff (it wasn't even our server, they're all so nice) took, and doesn't reflect the superior plating by the kitchen XD
Waited 50 mins for a wrong dish. Waiter then blamed us for ordering the wrong dish instead of owning up to it. Waited another 10 mins for the correct dish. It’s not even during the busy time!! Worst experience ever in a Thai restaurant. Will not come here anymore!
Great Thai food that’s been around for generations
Here is my humble and honest review on this gem, and yes although I gave it a fair three stars it doesn’t mean I don’t see its value, because I do!
But here are my issues with this place.
One the cutlery, the cups and the plates are appalling. The clear cups have this water residue on them making them look disgusting and dirty, the water isn’t even filtered it’s straight up tap water, can we get with filtering out water? There’s serious health issues with tap water…the cutlery is dirty like all the time because they’re so busy they don’t inspect it sadly so if possible ask for plastic utencils I promise I’m not making it up,to give you perspective we did see across out table another couple cleaning their table ware with napkins because theirs was dirty as well. Lastly their plates almost every plate is broken from a corner or chipped…it’s pretty bad, thus the minus one star.
Now if you thought I was done on the cleanliness portion, I’m sorry to say that it’s not. The table we were sat on smelled like a dirty rag was used to clean it and to finish it there was fresh black hair stuck to the table from whatever they used to clean it. I think it’s fair to say that cleanliness says a lot about how a kitchen where food is being cooked is going to look, and to be totally honest my trust is not in it, but I was feeling “adventurous” so what the heck, lol.
Okay now on to their food, I’ve had their spicy beef salad (amazing), they use a fire cooked short beef rib meat that is just amazing, it’s actually char most of the time and it’s big and hearty and oh so savory!
The chicken fried rice is a joke when speaking of the chicken, the chicken has freezer burns and is dryer than sand! It’s awful, but the rice it’s self is subtle and savory we love it so we decided to opt the meat and just get it with egg, we also don’t like it soggy so we do no tomatoes or onions and stick with just green onion. It’s great! We love it!
Their won ton soup is also yummy nothing I can really say other than they have two sizes and so it’s perfect!
They have extremely savory crispy pork short ribs that just make you want more because their so tiny and delicious but it’s an appetizer so it’s expected but still so savory and delicious!
Oh don’t let me forget about their pad see yew (might have spelled that wrong oops!) it’s amazing! They actually kill this dish because it has authentic Chinese broccoli which I really appreciate it’s amazing as well!
Their service is okay, the waiters always seems nice definitely overwhelmed but nice over all, on both occasions I’ve asked for to go cups for our drinks because of what I had mentioned and both times they forgot to bring it so not to on point with the service but def on the accuracy of food, spot on so yay I guess.
Bathrooms are not so great, not kept up with as one would hope but what can you expect, cleanliness isn’t to great a priority it seems so no I won’t use their restrooms….minus one star.
Pricing is moderately fair for portion so no problem here.
Last why I took another star off, waiting is ridiculous! And parking is a night mare.
So yeah, that’s pretty much what my experience has been and although the food is enjoyable, because it is. I now bring my water canine with me and ask for plastic utencils so yes you’ll enjoy the food but caution it’s at your own risk, lol. Jk, if you’re a clean freak or have great attention to detail it might feel like a tough pill to swallow but I encourage you to try the food anyway. It’s surprisingly pretty great!
Good place
Food was amazing and delicious The waiters were extremely kind it was extremely quick service and extremely enjoyable
Best Thai food I ever had
- said a very picky Asian foodie 😂
The food is always good here.
I rate 1 star cause the lady who answer the phone is not friendly...she mean the way to answer the phone.. im long time customer there seem the old palance in samamlung the old one..before the moved the new one....
ONE OF THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE INLAND EMPIRE
I always find these restaurants where the server only ever comes by once weird, but the food was really good so I'd come back
My wife and I found this restaurant on a Google search.
We really enjoyed it. The cashew nut chicken was very good.
Unfortunately, my mini van suffered minor vandalism while in the parking lot 😕
First time eating here and it was a very positive experience.. food was hot delicious and spicy, just like I like it. Service was quick and accurate. Good atmosphere with plenty of lighting with lots of classy tile work. Totally fair prices. Most of the clientele was Thai/Asian descent. Definitely recommend it and will be going back again
Great place for food but Parking is difficult there is a bully security guard commanding you parking he will let you park in the no parking wait till you leave your vehicle and say can't park there look in the back. Its always jammed up parking there I been many times and left many times because of the lousy parking. Food is excellent small portions but very flavorful.
The food was good as always. But they changed some things, the tom yum soup didn't have the fresh lemon grass and herbs in it like in the past, I think it didn't seem to taste as good. Everything else was the same deliciousness I remember.
Great spring rolls, flavorful soups. Only one issue: super noisy due to crowd of people waiting in front, plus lots of hard surfaces inside. Worth the wait if you don't mind.
I've been to a few Thai restaurants. This is the first time we’ve visited this establishment. I believe the structure has changed a few times I remember it being a Carrow restaurant. Sanamluang Interior is put together well it has plenty of booths and tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. we ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all. The Pad Thai took a little bit too to long reach us, but it was delicious. this place can get crowded and there’s usually a little wait to be seated. It's worth the wait. We’ll be visiting again.
The food is delicious the service is amazing and the prices are reasonable
We savored a dinner of Chapo, Pra Salid fried rice – our standout favorite for its generous portion and spicy kick – along with cripsy Garlic Pork Spare Ribs and a refreshing Seafood Salad. Ample enough for three, the dishes were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The ambiance of the place added to our enjoyment. Would like to explore more of their enticing menu offerings next time.
Ive been coming here for over 10 years and unfortunately the quality has been going down hill. Drove over an hour today to pick up food. Choose my favorite (not anymore) restaurant for my bday dinner, but ughs. I asked for spicy chicken fried nice, and both orders didn’t have any spice at all… Pad Thai was super dry and barely any flavor. Pad see ew tasted like water… asked for the pad kee mao to be spicy and it wasn’t. Food was mostly inedible and a was a waste of $95. Put a damper on my bday thats for sure. The woman who took the order repeated everything back to me and it was correct, so its not her fault. When the food is made correctly its amazing, but it seems like recently they are off their game. The last few orders have had at least one issue. Sad to say I probably wont be returning.
When I visit Claremont I always try to get a food order here.I've been coming here for years, even before they were in Claremont. They've got great flavors, and great spice! The only downside is, the wait has been about an hour....so plan ahead if you can!
I’m totally perplexed by the rave reviews on this place. We ordered takeout and my husband said it was packed when he got there which we took as a great sign. However the food was inedible. The beef in our noodle dish was very dry and tasted left over. The curry was extremely watery with minimal flavor. Super super disappointing. Wondering if they just don’t take care with the takeout orders?
Food has always been very fresh and tasty. Most any dish will satisfy a Thai food lover.
Service is pleasant but the way they bring out the food can be a quite frustrating. We had the Trout which came out first. It was easily 10 minutes before the Chicken Panang came out and another several minutes before being served the crispy fish fried rice. Again it all tastes good but when the spread of time it takes to deliver the food is long, well it marrs the eating experience. And while it's not super expensive, it IS enough to expect the food to come out reasonably together.
Honestly.... this place wasn't as good as I was told it was. The food was nothing out of the ordinary. From a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being amazing, I would give it a 6.5/10. The service was the worst. We were a party of 9 and we had to wait 90 minutes to get a table and another 45 minutes to get part of our food consisting of a variety of different plates. Unfortunately, one of the plates we ordered never arrived and we had to remind the server that they forgot a dish. It took another 15 minutes to receive the last remaining dish and by that time everyone in our party had finished the food. We told the server to cancel the last dish because we were finished and the last dish took too long. The server got upset, but we got reimbursed the money we paid for the dish that never arrived. Overall, I would give this place a 3.0 for the kind of service they provided.
Wonderful food, ambiance, and great veg options♡
Nice atmosphere. Always popular, and it's easy to see why: the food is tasty and inexpensive, and the service is good. This is my go-to Thai place. Highly recommended!
I've been going here for yeaes years and I love it. I love the staff and atmosphere but recently the quality of the food has gone down. I know its because they are packed most of the time and they have to get food out fast but still. So if its your first time trying thai food, I recommend you go somewhere else.
Good Thai food restaurant with nice ambience and good seating arrangements.
Papaya Salad: 5/5 delicious
Cashew Nut Chicken: 4/5
Pud- See- Ewe: 3/5
Tom-Kha-Kai: 2/5 was a little too sour
Emperor’s Noodle: 4/5
Salted Fish Fried Rice: 3/5
Price is reasonable.
Ambience good, wasn’t packed when we arrived at 6:15pm on Thursday
Service was excellent. They paid attention to our table and made sure we had
all that we needed to accommodate 3 children under 12.
The food is good. I highly recommend it. This time we have a big group and the restaurant is packed with people. The service is slow and some dishes are missing or coming very late that we had to cancel it at the end. It would be a special case. They are busy. It is understandable.
their food is not good as before. Is more of MSG!!!
Definitely a modernized facility. Looks spacious and parking area was large but very packed.
The restaurant was extremely busy. We had a party of approximately 20 people. We called a few days ahead and were told they will try their best to accommodate. When we arrived, it was extremely crowded. Even with 20 people they seated us within an hour. Kudos to that!
However, the service after that was rather spotty. We ordered several dishes for both tables that split us in. Many of the dishes either didn't come out or came out an hour after we finished the few that did come out earlier.
We also had to flag down a few service professionals to remind them about our drinks and dishes.
Enough about the service, since we will just blame it on that staff was short.
The food was extremely delicious. Portions were okay but not as large as other Thai restaurants.
My fave dishes would be the fried catfish. Great spice and well balanced sweet, spicy and savory! Perfect with rice!
The papaya salad was definitely fresh with a great kick and umami flavor.
The salted fried fish rice was phenomenal! I loved the perfect balance of salty and savory. That fish crunch was awesome!
The soups were a bit to vinegary or salty.
All the other dishes were yummy too. Loved that the noodles were not over cooked and great flavors.
Would definitely suggest to be prepared for a long wait. We were informed that if our party was smaller and we came at a less busy time, the service would be better and the food would come out timely.
It is my FAVORITE Thai restaurant!!! It has delicious and flavorful food!! I ALWAYS take my friends and family to this place! And everyone that I've recommended it to, has made it one of their preferred restaurants to go for Thai food. It has a great atmosphere, friendly service, they are ALWAYS busy! So plan ahead. They close at 10pm on the weekends. Great for first dates! Definitely nice!! it's much better than casual but not luxurious. Perfect place to impress because of the great food and comfortably enjoy a good time to get to know someone. Competitive prices and to me? Most of the plates (if not all) are meant to be shared. So try to start with only one plate/ soup, rice and maybe an appetizer. I have yet to try a plate that I don't like... Every time I've gone has been an awesome experience.
Thai restaurant with authentic Thai food.
Good menu, with plenty of choices and pictures to allow easy selection.
Horrible parking. Two rows of parking for a restaurant this size, totally unacceptable.
Seafood soup was tasteless No Seafood at all. Yellow curry was mediocre . Chow mien was just ok. Never coming back.
Fried rice took so long
Sanamluang Cafe is the one restaurant I'll always love coming back to.
I've always made it a point to visit this charming restaurant every time I'm in the area, and even after many years, the quality of the food and service has always stayed top tier.
My personal favourite and go-to is the Beef Tendon & Stew Soup. The soup consists of a harmonious blend of flavours and textures. The Pad Thai, Pork Spareribs, Roast Duck, and Tom-Kha-Kai are delicious must-tries as well. The chefs put in effort to make the dishes visually appealing, while appealing to the tastebuds.
Additional noteworthy features are that regardless of how busy the restaurant is, the servers and staff are always polite, cordial, and attentive to their customers. I also appreciate the fact that the restaurant uses real Thai Tea and real fruits for their slushies.
I hold Sanamluang Cafe to the highest regard, and I absolutely look forward to returning here upon my next visit in town.
Food cooked to perfection! We decided to visit this Thai restaurant on a Sunday evening. It was very busy so I highly recommend you come early in order to get a table. We were seated within 20 minutes. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive.
We ordered papaya salad, crispy pork, chicken satay, fish , chicken wings, pad see ew, and Thai tea. The sauce that came out with the chicken wings tasted very authentic. Every dish tasted so good, we ordered a second round to share with our family. The food came out within fifteen minutes so we were very pleased with the service.
We drove more than one hour to come eat here so it's definitely worth the drive for their service and scrumptious dishes.
We definitely will try their hot pot next time!
tasty. recommended meal and veggie : chicken wings and kangkong 💃🏼
The food is always delicious, I have been going there for the last 20 plus years.
My favorite Thai restaurant in SoCal. I've been coming here (and their old location) for over 20 years. The food and service is always good.
We been coming to eat here for over 20yrs and we have never been disappointed.
The food was very good. Had the rice and duck and the wantons with chicken inside. Delicious. Drove far just to have it again. The service wasn't very friendly but maybe because they were very busy. Try to go around 3pm. Not so busy.
The food is fabulous, great service. Can't wait to go back.
This place is delicious. First time here, and we'll be back! The service was good and the food was authentic. Recommend
Hands down—Best Thai food in the area. When my relatives from Thailand visit, they always want to eat here. 🇹🇭
My favorite dish is their Thai Boat noodles—I order it. Every. Time. 🔥
I feel bad for reviewing this place... We were invited by an LA local family to dine at what they called the best Thai restaurant in town, so I came with inflated expectation, perhaps. Firstly, the restaurant suffered from insufficient parking spaces for the number of tables they have, resulting in lengthy wait to get parked. The high ceiling made our table scene quite noisy, as the voices of all diners around us were amplified. The restaurant was super full during our visit, and servers struggled to serve our table and kept our water filled.
I saw other reviewers suggesting the chicken wings appetizer, but it was disappointing TBH. The wings were small, and at times even cut in half, so they looked plenty, but in reality they're difficult to eat without me having to navigate through broken and brittle bones. The Tom Yam soup came with flame inside the chimney, which was a nice touch, but the soup itself contained more sliced mushrooms than actual seafood.
The Pad See Ew was subpar, with singular flavour of soy sauce coating the noodles. The Penang curry was okay flavour wise, but there was remarkably more sliced peppers than beef chunks. The papaya salad, however, was amazing, reminding me of the time I ate something similar on one of many floating market in Bangkok. Too bad the one dish we all loved did not do enough to balm the dinner.
Maybe the restaurant used to serve the best Thai cuisine in town, but if so, then it has fallen from grace ever since. I sincerely hope that the restaurant would recover somehow to justify its reputation.
Hace mas de 20 años que visito este lugar con mi familia, se lo he recomendado a cientos de personas, siempre un lugar de 5 estrellas.
Been going to this place for years and I still can’t get enough of this place! Their Thai iced teas aren’t sugar water and have actual flavor. And the pad Thai, and chicken satay are both excellent
Great place, and excellent service. Very affordable too but the portions are very very small, not enough to share
The server was very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic! All of our appetizers came out quickly and the main courses of Thai shrimp salad and pad-se-ewe noodles were phenomenal! We look forward to returning here again!
The food is worth visiting and the decor is contemporary upscale for this area. A great option for celebrations, a date, family dinners, get-together with friends, even solo dining.
There is usually a wait here for dinner as it is a very popular local place. It gets loud, too... an indication that people are enjoying their family-style dining experience, the food, and the atmosphere. Service here is prompt and unobtrusive, courteous and attentive enough but these people are busy.
I love the Chapo (no. 59) here very much !! Must try. Service is very good, atmosphere is great
