Sometimes it works for me and tastes like nothing I've ever eaten before in the most wonderful way, and sometimes it's the opposite and it tastes almost jarring and I can barely make it through a couple of bites. Mostly it depends on the strength of the restaurant. And for some reason this little hole-in-the-wall place makes it taste better than any other place I've ever eaten. The food is delicious, the delivery is fast and free, and did I mention that the food is delicious?

I left hungry and still had to give them money. I would have given them four stars despite hair in my food, but I found it petty that they wouldn’t comp the $11.99 meal after making a nasty unsanitary mistake.

The food was tasty but not fabulous. I'm trying other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood to find the best one with the most flavor and price reasonability.

We had cheese wontons, beef jerky, chicken larb, chicken panang curry, and it was all phenomenal!

This is one of my favorite take out Thai place since It's a small place so we rarely eat in. But their food is really good and tastes really authentic, seems to be a lot more flavorful than other Thai places around here. I used to live just down the street and we would order from it a couple times a month, now we have moved about 20 minutes away but we still order from it whenever we can.

Khun Dang is a cozy Thai Restaurant in Chatsworth. The Food is great. They ask if you want spicy n hot or non spicy n hot. Service is great the customer service is a priority.

Our "go to" for Thai delivery for many years now. Haven't tried anything else in this area that compares!

I usually order for pick up. If they said 15-20 mins, it took 30-40 mins. If they said 25mins, it took 50-60mins. They care about dine-in customer first. The old waitress is rude and not smart for serving and taking order correctly.

*I love their TOM KA KAI soup; it is the best I have had anywhere.
I am Vegan so I special order my soup, which they gladly accommodate me: no fish sauce; substitute tofu for meat; lots of extra veggies {except for no onions of any kind}. When I call an order in or go in to order, they remember me with a smile and extremely fast service.
The restaurant is cozy around 18-20 and the service is fast & efficient.

Been going to Khun Dang for years since the original owners in North Hollywood expanded out to Chatsworth. They sold to new owners that do a good job and it's more authentic which I like, rather then Americanized bland Thai food. Very small and you have to navigate through the kitchen to use the bathroom. So had to take a star away for that. I would do 3.5 stars if permitted. Try the chicken satay and Indian noodle soup!

I work near here and have been going here for years. Can't reccomend this place enough. Decent prices, awesome food, and good portions. Recently there has been a change in the food so the quality varies occasionally though. Not sure if there is a new cook in the back on certain days.

I will not order from here again! I thought I would give this place a try since it had good ratings and my usual Thai place was not taking any new deliveries. Our food took over an hour and half to arrive, I tried calling the restaurant and found out that were closed so I had to deal with eat 24 app representatives. Luckily the food actually came, of course it was cold but what really upset me was I only received half my order! I ended up having to go get fast food! Never order from this place again!

I have had my really good 5-star experience today. I live in the north-west part of the san fernando valley, and yet I have never tried this place. I have lived in Chatsworth for almost 21-22 years. Why have I not eaten here.. it's insane!! So my mom just got her glaucoma surgery today and was hungry. OK, all 3 of us were hungry. My brother said we are gonna stop by for some thai food to go. He had ordered already for takeout. I was assuming.. hmm monster thai? Jasmine Thai? but a local restaurant near our old stomping grounds of Chatsworth. Ok, I am always up for some new grub. We got home opened the boxes and wow a burst of flavor just made its way to my nose. I was in heaven. The green curry was very spicy. It was too spicy for my tastes but you could picture a sense of relief from my mom as she enjoyed every teaspoon of curry. Then of course came the minced beef on rice which was also spicy. My mouth was burning, and I could envision flames coming out of my mouth. My mom loved it!!! Next was pad-thai. I love pad thai, but never have I experienced pad-thai like this before. My mom enjoyed it for the first time in a long time, because it wasn't sweet like other places tend to make it. My brother and I also enjoyed it too. I love it also because it's not too sweet in flavor, it's just right!!! Then if that wasn't enough, there was this bbq beef on rice with sliced tomatoes and cucumber. It was ok, nothing too special. The thing I liked the most out of the lunch boxes was this fried wonton. That was amazing. So, in conclusion.. I would definitely come and bring my friends to eat here. I love these places that operated by small business owners; especially the moms and pops shops. Kudos to this place. Want something spicy or something not spicy at all? Come to Khun Dang!!!! Yummy!!!

im thai myself and i would say its like the good wholesome home cook meal..no authentic thai bs..they use the freshest ingredient that is here..no point of going overboard with authentic ingredient when its not even fresh..over all this is where i go to whenever i miss my mom cooking...lol

I have only ordered pick up from here a few times through Eat 24 or Grubhub. This is a really good place for Thai food and is currently one of my favorites in the valley! I have ordered both the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mow (my personal favorite) and they are both extremely delicious.

There are differing heat levels for all the spicy foods, but tread with caution. Their spicy is pretty spicy and I am someone who has a good tolerance to heat!

I dream about this place since I moved away from LA some years ago. I get back now and then and they haven't slipped. I like their Thai cooking better than any I have found elsewhere coast to coast. When you ask yourself the question "Where would most like to go for my next meal if I could go anywhere?" and one place keeps coming up you have to rate that place 5 stars.

I usually call-in and order my food to pick up. It's a small restaurant. The food is delicious and the portion size is good. I love to eat and when I'm halfway thru I'm full :) I usually get Panang or Masmun chicken from their menu and it's spicy, so once when I told them I want it spicy it was too much for me. So I suggest trying it regular and then spicing it up to your taste. You can ask them to give you some of their red pepper sauce on the side. When I ordered food less than $10 she charged me a little more to use my CC.
