My wife and I are foodies from Portland who found this gem on our trip to Disneyland. It was so good we visited more than once. This establishment is obviously the owners passion project and it shows in the food, environment and service. Plus, the food looks exactly like the photos :)

My experience having lunch here was phenomenal. This is an absolute 10 out of 10 Thai food meal I would recommend for anyone. Please do yourself a favor and skip the chain restaurants near Disney in Anaheim and come here instead! The food is as fresh as could be, and it’s served with wonderful service. There are vegan options as well which add to the variety of palates that will be happy here. There are plenty of sweet options for the kids or those just wanting a dessert.

My husband and I found this before heading to the Donuts and Glory reunion show at Chain Reaction and it is SO GOOD! The owner is truly dedicated to making great food and doesn't cut corners on her dishes. The broth of the soup is light but complex. I wish we lived closer!!
You WILL LOVE everything on her menu!
Be prepared to wait a little longer than you normally would because she's making things fresh. So give yourself a little extra time.

Great little mom and pop type of shop! The food is fresh and made to order so it takes a little time for you to get your food but definitely worth the wait!

Food was excellent!. The taste was just perfect in every bite; way better than food in a fancy restaurant. The restaurant is located in an empty plaza, so there was no wait. Although it took them a while to prepare their fresh food, it was worth to wait.

the food was okay, the chicken satay was very good, it was my favorite dish for the day I went.

I also ordered the vermicelli noodles and basil chili salmon. The salmon was likely low quality or not the best grade which kind of gives it that overcooked taste and texture - also wish it had the skin. I like my salmon with skin. So it was just an okay dish for me maybe slightly average. The vermicelli noodles tasted better but for a 15 dollar dish seem a little pricey for taste vs quality and ingredients.

Overall it was about 60 dollars for two main dishes, 1 appetizer and 2 drinks. I would say that is okay.

We ordered a pork noodle dish, garlic shrimp, coconut shrimp and the mango sticky rice for dessert. ALL of it was amazing!!! Plus, my rice was purple and kinda shaped like Mickey!!! Go support this small business! If you love Thai food, you will love this place!

Don't miss it. Simply incredible. Everything was prepared to perfection from the meat and vegetables, to bread and broth, even down to the rice and noodles. Ask about their spicy sauce! The vibe is laid back with positive energy. The owner is so kind and friendly! We had a great time chatting with her. I'd never experienced Thai/Vietnamese fusion before, but it was a perfect harmony. This drinks were delicious as well; a tightrope walk between sweet and bitter. Another high point: they're penny. Maybe not everyone is about the dad jokes, but it gave me that little chuckle and smile that makes all the difference. Even the other guests were awesome. Everything is so good it'll bring out the best in you. Can't wait to go back!

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was the most delicious meal we’ve had in a long time. I’m shocked that this place isn’t more popular! It seemed like it was just the owner but she can cook! We had the dumplings, yellow curry with chicken, the beef and broccoli and the mango sticky rice and every bite was divine. We can’t wait to come back!

We showed up a half hour before closing, but she graciously served us and was so sweet. The food was delicious! The vegetable and tofu dish was crazy good and so flavorful!

We had a lovely dinner and amazing service! My salmon sandwich was so flavorful and the side salad with sesame salad was perfect. The roti bread is so good and buttery, served fresh and hot. They are so kind and hospitable here, highly recommend!

Excellent cuisines and service!

This hidden gem offers delightful Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. While the eggplant could have been cooked a bit longer, the flavors were impeccable. The charming ambiance and unique plateware added to the dining experience. Service was both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

After eating here, I can see why they’re rated so much higher than everything else around the area. It truly is exceptional.

They were able to provide advice and make things gluten free. They even made a good kids dish with fried chicken and peanut sauce. The service was outstanding.

I had the yellow curry and coco noodles. Both were really great. The medium spicy level is probably equivalent to “hot” at other restaurants.

We got take out from here. After I placed the order, the restaurant called for some clarification on spice level and an allergy we had noted which was very much appreciated. The gal who called was so friendly and helpful. When we picked up the food, they were just as kind.

The food was all incredible. So much flavor and great portion sizes. Highly recommend the edamame!! We are from out of town but would definitely come back again if we're in the are! 10/10 recommend.

A hole in the wall with delicious Thai & Vietnamese dishes. The eggplant could be cooked a little more but the flavors were spot on. Loved the plateware & ambiance of the place. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend & will definitely return!

Incredible little spot! We so appreciated the service on top of a menu full of flavor. The yellow curry is probably the best I have ever experienced! It is obvious they truly care about bringing quality ingredients to their dishes. Definitely worth a stop and revisit!

Felt like royalty here. The food is so intentionally prepared. Had lunch of spicy eggplant and tofu. It was so enjoyable went back soon after for dinner. Dinner was salmon, yellow currie, egg rolls and cucumber salad. Was able to taste all the fresh elements. Loved the calming environment. Great place for intimate meal.

This is definitely a great place to have lunch / dinner. The food was amazing, and our server was very nice and attentive to our table! I wish I had taken a picture of my full plate. I would definitely come back and recommend!

Great restaurant with excellent meals. Service is a little slow but it’s hot and fresh when it comes out so if your looking for fast food, this isn’t the place but if your looking for excellent meal, so worth it! Staff were outstanding as well!

This place defines culinary talent. The Salmon sandwich is a work of art every time! The Thai iced coffee is delicious. Plenty of parking and a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Great place to eat some Vietnamese Thai food fusion
Had the Larb salad, chicken satay appetizer, sticky mango rice, and green thai tea.

It's an okay place in the hood. The most overpriced, tiny, and dry egg rolls I have ever had in Orange county. Best pink coconut juice, though. Chicken soup was nice, but not at all authentic pho, so go here and think, chicken noodle soup....not pho. Lots of good American flavors, and the server/cook/cashier was sweet.

The chicken noodle soup tasted pretty good. My girl ate the roti bread to dip in the curry and she said it was fantastic. The place was great overall and the lady was super kind and helpful to us. I recommend this place if you’re looking for some delicious food nearby in the local area.

The food was amazing, the House Special Noodle was phenomenal, Larb Noodle Salad, incredible… haven’t tasted any place good till I went here, it was just, speechless… the salmon was so soft and it melted in your mouth. But the taste, it’s even better, it’s soo good 😭 will def come back, the mango sticky rice was extremely good and the Lychee Green Tea with Crystal Boba was so bomb. I love the service stan them tbh-

Found this place by searching in google a good place for soups. I am so glad that my husband and I decided to try this place. I didn't order a soup I changed my mind and order the garlic shrimp, absolutely delicious, my husband ordered beef, excellent too, Thai ice tea, egg rolls, everything absolutely delicious. Mook, the owner, is very friendly and nice.

This is an amazing hidden gem. I wanted to eat out but pick a healthier option and this place turned out to be one of the best meals I've had this year.

I had their grilled pork with vermicelli and it was absolutely perfect. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The flavor of the pickles and meat were great and not overbearing. The sauce paired well with everything and had a little bit of spice. I don't think there was a single crumb left in my bowl.

The service was attentive and friendly. Their menu is updated on their website for take out. I was incredibly impressed and look forward to trying out more things on their menu.

Food here is soooo good. I’ve tried just about half the menu at this point and not one thing has disappointed. My fave so far is the salmon sandwich, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. And the desert, mmmm can’t say enough good things about everything. Same goes for the drinks. Mook, the owner is so so kind and will make sure everything is up to par and make any adjustments if necessary. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a try.

I Go to The Mechanic By This Place With My Wife Regularly and When Me and My Wife Discovered Their Green Thai Tea We Became Regulars Immediately, I EXTREMELY Love their Spicy Okra, and Just Discovered Their Lychee Green Tea Which Is Bomb. The Lady That Runs The Place Is Sweet as Heck And Always Remembers Us! Also The Ice Is Always Like Shaved Ice Or Something And I Love That Too.

My wife and I love this place! Everything we’ve tried so far— about half of the menu— has been a hit. Personal favorites include the beef salad, coco noodle soup, and the b&p house soup. But you can’t go wrong with any of the other choices. Oh and Mook, the owner and chef, is super friendly and inviting!

This place is truly a hidden gem! Cozy restaurant inside, but modern and simple. Had the chicken and rice plate and it was SO good! Chicken was super moist with perfect seasoning on it.

Staff was super friendly and greeted us with a nice welcome when we got in, service was quick, and staff didn't rush us at all when we were done and just socializing.

I'll be sure to tell more friends about this place!

Food was delicious. Chicken was tender on my BBQ Chicken plate. Curry was so tasty. Every dish had its own special flavor which will make you remember it. The Roti may look simple, but it is truely delicious. I will definitely return. Hard working people doing good things, I love it.
Try them out. Everything is delicious. The butterfly pea colored sticky rice is amazing with the mangoes and coconut sauce!!

Found this place by clicking on random restaurants in the area. I am SO GLAD that I decided to take my family here. Mook, the owner, is incredibly sweet and ensures you have the best experience. I didn't get a chance to get the name of the other worker but she was super nice and accomodating.

We ate all of the following:
- chicken noodle soup
- coco noodle soup
- chicken yellow curry
- coconut shrimp
- mango & sticky rice, fried bananas, and coconut ice cream

Everything listed above was 5/5 stars. The food is light and flavorful. The curry is now one of my favorites. I can't say enough about the quality of the food and the quality of the service. I can't wait to come back next week. This restaurant is my favorite find of the year - highly, highly recommend.

Excellent fusion Asian food.

After hearing rave reviews from an attendee of an event catered by Bowl and Plate, I decided to check it out for myself. All the five star reviews posted here are definitely warranted. Eggplant is my go-to dish first dish at any Asian restaurant. I requested crispy tofu for the protein and was presented a colorful, with perfectly still-slightly firm vegetables in a "crisp-clean" tasty-spicy sauce without any heavy-oily or overly sweet notes. The Larb with noodles was also fantastic as has been every other dish thus far. We have a bit of a drive to get there, so we eat in not wanting to reheat this delicious food when getting home. The service is very friendly and we are made to feel right at home. BP has been added to our favorite OC restaurants.

Their Thai green iced tea is HEAVEN, I haven't had a more delicious green tea! The owner is also extremely nice and lovely + food is amazing.

I am writing this as we are finishing up our meal. We are extremely happy to have found this gem on our way out of town from a small weekend vacation. The food was absolutely amazing and the customer service was some of the best we have had. We can't wait to come back in a couple months during another outing away from home.

Delicious and healthy blend of Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The owners were very friendly and had great customer service. I had the garlic pepper shrimp plate and my husband had the coconut chicken mushroom noodle soup. Both were really flavorful and didn’t feel heavy. The food was freshly prepared. Fantastic food, wonderful customer service, Mook and her partner make everyone feel welcome. The yellow curry was some of the best I’ve ever had, the garlic shrimp was amazing, and you have to try the purple rice.

Delicious food

As eateries go Bowl and Plate surpasses all my expectations. The location is a bit hard to find,but like a magical portal it is worth the beautiful experience. We absolutely loved the quality of the food, I could taste the love with which it was prepared. Mook,our server, was just the sweetest and most attentive with us. She even had us taste their green tea, which we immediately ordered because I fell in love with it's matcha-like taste with a hint of jazmine. I ordered the Coco Noodle Soup that reminded me of my favorite Tom Kha soup,except even better because this one includes noodles! The prices are very reasonable for the perfect amount of food you'll get. I whole-heartedly recommend Bowl & Plate Eatery!

The other plate ordered was Garlic Shrimp which is very flavorful. As most garlic shrimps dishes I find tend to be overwhelmingly seasoned, it was not the case for this dish as it was very well balanced in flavor and not salty. The dish also came with purple rice which also was perfectly cooked and tasteful. Thai Tea is the best I've tasted since it's not too sweet as others.

We found this small, precious restaurant a "divine find" and are already planning our next date here!.

The customer service is great. They go beyond to make sure you enjoy your experience with them. In addition the food items I have eaten have been delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for tasty Asian cuisine.
