Took my mom here for lunch- neither of us had ever been and we decided to try it on the spur of the moment- so glad we did! Awesome selection on the menu- everything we had was so so good! Easily some of the best Thai food in the East valley. Everything was fresh and well made- we had green curry, pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles. Everything was perfect- the portions were generous which was very much appreciated especially considering how good the food was, the quality of the ingredients as well as the charming, clean, bright atmosphere the restaurant offers along with top-notch service. We ordered food to go and will definitely be coming back and recommending it to others!

This was my first time here after a great recommendation from a friend. I got the pra ram, with the mild spice level. It was amazing! My husband got the Yupha's fried rice and it was also excellent. Service was very fast and friendly, we had multiple servers checking on us. I have no complaints at all.

They opened right at the stroke of 11. She seated me with my choice of a booth. The establishment was clean and the staff was well
prepared and dressed nicely. She brought out a wonderful vegetable soup and salad with some delightful dressing. The green curry was hot, a little spicy and delicious.

The traditional Thai restaurant you’re looking for! WOW, did this Yellow Curry and their Pad Thai ensure I make a return visit. Some restaurants are really weirded out when I say I don’t want meat in my curry. I prefer tofu or just the veggies and broth. However, this tofu was cooked to perfection. A little sautéed exterior really gives the tofu that bite that most people are missing when used in place of chicken. The spice level I chose was medium and it was exactly that. I could have gone hotter but sometimes you never know what you’re getting yourself into at a new spot. Service was also wonderful and attentive. Always ensuring our drinks were full. We even tried the Mango sticky rice and I’m so glad we did. Of course my leftover curry was even better the next day. Thank you!

Yupha’s Thai is a local favorite Thai food restaurant. This is one of the best Thai places I have been around Chandler. This is a very busy place I had takeout and dine in couple of times.
I tried various dishes from this places they don’t fail to keep up quality or flavors. They cater to various spice levels I really love their Thai spice blend. I love their mango sticky rice.

Good quality though crowded (for a reason- they are good). Took a while to get a table without reservation even for just 2 people. But good quality, tasty food and good enough service.

Had my birthday dinner here and everything was delicious! Our whole group was able to find dishes they were excited about; even the pickiest of us, the friend with a peanut allergy, and our resident vegetarian. Solid pricing, large dinner portion sizes, and attentive staff. It's been a few weeks and I'm still thinking about my Pad Gra Prow.

This joint is great to grab a quick bite or drag it out and chill. Get the drunken noodles and a Thai iced tea!

Delicious! I had the Kao Soi and it is my new favorite Thai dish ever. My husband and I shared the Siam wraps as an appetizer and he had the seafood chef special. Everything was so good, the spice level was spot on, and the service was wonderful. This might be a weird thing to key in on with the atmosphere, but the acoustics are great. We didn't have to yell over blaring music and we could hear each other really well even with all of the tables in the restaurant full. We can't wait to try more of their menu, every dish on every table around us looked amazing!

Yupha's is one of those places. The Food is really good, the server made recommendations that were perfect.

The waiter is so mean

After mentioning to the waitress that we are gluten-free and she told us what meals to get to be gluten-free, she brought us a soup that was a part of the meal without telling us there’s gluten in it. Another waitress came, and when we asked for something gluten free she said oh don’t eat the soup, it has gluten in it. When I told the manager she acted like nothing has happened. Didn’t even apologize. The food wasn’t even that great, everything was too sweet!

The yellow curry is the best anywhere.

Food was so amazing and flavorful! Dessert was delicious as well, we got the sticky rice and the coconut ice cream. My only complaint was we asked for medium spice on our dishes (curry and pad see ew) and I think the server thought we couldn’t handle it, because it wasn’t very spicy at all. Regardless I will be back soon! :)

Food was excellent, best Thai food we've had in awhile. Only negative comment is the entre arrived at the table 30 seconds after the appetizers. Not able to enjoy both at the same time so the entre was cold by the time we were able to get to it.

I love this place. The best Thai food is in this little gem. What I love most is that the owner is always there and the quality is very consistent. My biggest complaint about restaurants is not being sure what you'll get from one visit to the next. No worries about that here. You must order the Golden Curry Puffs appetizer! Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, & Yupha's Fried Rice are favorites but my latest love is the Yellow Curry. Never thought I'd be a curry fan. The Green Curry is good too but be careful about the spice level you order! They'll make your dish with no spice, if that's what you want. Mild is a safe bet. Medium is hot enough for everyone I know that likes it spicy. I wouldn't order it "very hot" unless you can munch on dried 🌶️ like it's popcorn. Kitchen closes fairly early so don't wait too long to place pick up orders. I think this place is a good date option too. It has a nice atmosphere and you can hear yourselves talk.

The other two was so bad, I would never recommend this place for delievery through DoorDash.

It's like someone ate 2/3 of it,
only 1/3 full in the small container when I got it.

The lunch specials are delicious and reasonably priced. The service is excellent with a greeting upon arrival and acknowledgement on the way out. My family and I are now regulars every week.

The food is the star of this restaurant. Had the red curry, but usually get their Pad Thai. Both are delicious, well prepared and beautifully laid out.

Me and a group of guys go out for dinner at Yupha's almost every Friday night. I have yet to have a bad experience at this excellent Thai food restaurant. Ask for May to be your server. She's friendly, efficient, and she'll remember your name the next time you come in. They do close at 9:00 on Friday and Saturday night, and I mean tables stripped and wiped down, and chairs off the floor by 9:15.

We absolutely love the food at Yupha's and the staff are very friendly. We have not had a bad meal here.
However the restaurant is small and tightly packed. Seating is close enough that it is impossible to not hear every word of your table neighbors, it is distracting. Don't go here for an intimate, romantic dinner. Do absolutely go here for fabulous Thai food!

Went here with a friend for the first time on Thursday. The food was sublime! Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Will absolutely go here again!

Went last night. Absolutely wonderful. Food and service was fantastic. Only thing that surprised me was getting a bill with a 20% tip already added for my family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids). The tip was already added and then they still had a line asking for a tip. I wish places wouldn't do that. It feels disingenuous and makes me feel dumb living no tip, because after all one was already added. Other than that though everything was amazing.

Service was good but food not so much. Our green curry Eggplant wasn’t completely cooked. We ordered mild spicy but it was too spicy to be called mild.
Plus there was a strong odor in the restaurant.

I make special trips from Tucson to have their curry! Absolutely the best in Arizona!

Great Thai food. I had the Massaman curry. Great portion size. Their coconut ice cream was dreamy. The service was friendly and receptive. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place if you would like some great Thai food.

Without a doubt the best Thai food in the area. The staff is amazing. It can be a wait on their busy nights but it's well worth it. I order to go almost weekly. Prices are incredible and oh my gosh, the flavors!!!!

We liked the food here, and I could have given 4-5 star review but the reason this is a 3 star review is because we felt that the way we were punitively charged for a whole extra drink when we tried to share the drink using an empty glass - was disappointing, created awkwardness and we felt a sense of hostility. We noticed the lady in charge - perhaps owner or manager aggressively questioned us for sharing a drink between my husband and me, and was micromanaging , rather than making sure the patrons were having a pleasant experience. However the rest of the staff was extremely sweet, friendly & courteous.

Always a true pleasure dining here, top notch staff and the food is the best Thai I have ever had. Higley recommend. Best of the Best.

Amazing place

Had yellow curry, a little runny, I like mine thick, but tasty. The Pad Thai was very good. Nice wall painting. They could rearrange the tables for coziness.

Sensational food and super fast service! Lots of servers, kid friendly place, even the kids' menu fried rice was delicious! The Khao Soi was excellent! Really impressed with this place, definitely glad we stopped in!

This is the best Thai food I have found in Phoenix. My only complaint is that they stopped having Prik Nam Pla available. Maybe they will bring it back?

Tasty food - Highly recommended! Loved their vegetarian sampler with 4 sauces and sticky mango rice dessert (Though the only eggless option). Incredible speed of service and staff kept constantly checking on you. However, by 9 PM, service got pushy as they need to close which is understandable.

That was amazing. Great no nonsense efficient service. Backed up with amazing yellow curry! Every mouthful made me think that someone in the kitchen truly thought about the best ingredients and freshness. Highly recommend.

We saw Yupha's featured on our local PBS station. We were in the area and gave it a try. Good Thai food is hard to find, but Yupha's is it. Every dish my wife and I had was full of flavor. We will make the trip to Tempe more often.

Yuphas Thai Kitchen in Tempe is at the top of our list for Thai food! We started with the Sampler; the Satay was perfect as the chicken was moist and very tender.

My wife could not decide which item she liked best. The Puffs were light but crispy, and the Thai Rolls tasted great! Not forgetting the dipping sauces, they really added to the flavor, not overpowering the flavor of the sampler items.

The Roasted Duck was juicy and flavorful and didn't have that strong, gamey taste you sometimes get with duck. She would order it again, but next time with mild spice. You get 1/2 a duck! There is plenty of food, no skimping here. The Giant Shrimp really stood up to its name. The large shrimp were fresh, tender, and great tasting with medium spice. Combined with asparagus, vegetables, and rice, it really filled me up, again, no skimping on the servings.

The fare is always fresh and delicious,  and Yuphas has a great ambiance, and we love the decor. It is usually quiet with soft conversation, however on this visit we sat next to a group of six that were rather loud as they were enjoying themselves; I get it, but I was hoping for a quiet dinner with my wife.

We always notice a flow of guests, and the to go order table seems to always be busy with a constant flow of people picking up orders. Our meal on this visit was about $79 with drinks, ice tea, and no dessert.

We highly recommend Yuphas, I won't recommend an item as I feel you will enjoy whatever you order! Put Yuphas on your list.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Phoenix. Pad Thai, curries, spring rolls... there is nothing bad on the menu. Service is great and the place is wonderfully decorated to give you a Thai look and feel.

Best red curry, anywhere! However, prices have increased and salad bar has disappeared. Portions are smaller and the salad that they do serve you is very small.

Valentine’s Day - Choices… Chinese or Thai? Thai was the winner! This is the classiest Thai place in our area. Started with a Siam Wrap… that was one of best appetizers we have ever tried. For entrees, Louise had the Evil Jungle Princess w/ beef and I had the Tom Yum Soup w/ chicken. For dessert, we shared the fresh made Coconut Ice Cream. This was a fantastic meal… delicious!

They serve complementary soup and salad during lunch hours, the menu is full of vegetarian options. They have a lot of seating areas compared to any other Thai place in the area. The food was excellent, two people from my party ordered double Thai spicy 🔥. I think they enjoyed eating the double spicy food. For me mild was good. The ambiance is nice and the servers are friendly and courteous.

The service was great as well as the atmosphere the restaurant had a floating market mural and a lot of Thai art very nice atmosphere. The food I ate was the egg noodles and boat long life noodles the egg rolls were the best I have ever had but the boat long life noodles were very bland no flavor at all. The noodles are good but very bland broth. Besides the egg rolls this place is forgettable. 3

Update: it's still amazing so much later!

I previously gave a 4 star before this visit, but now I downgraded my review to 3 stars because the price increased, but the portion decreased. I used to finish only half a lunch pad thai, but now the portion is so little that I can finish it all. For the price that they charged, it's not worth the trip. I'll still go back for their fried banana coconut ice cream because it's the best in town unless I find another one better.

I've been dining at Yupha's since the original location, this recent trip left a bit to be desired. I had the laab dish, ordered it hot (4/5) and it came out a bit too sweet for my liking. I'll stick with the curries and stir fry next time. The service during the lunch rush was great, however.
