What a charming Thai restaurant in Payson! Contextually, this may be considered a standard Thai resturant, yet for Payson it presents a unique option. To begin, the Tom Ka Gai arrived, and we were pleased to discover the small portion was enough to share. Personally, the soup was my favorite component of the entire meal. Next the chicken satay came, accompanied by cucumber and a flavorful peanut sauce. Delicious. My dining companion ordered pumpkin curry, that included traditional Asian pumpkin, similar to acorn squash, perfectly fitting the curry. I ordered the drunken noodle, with red peppers, bamboo shoots, carrots, ginger flavor, and I found it to be excellent. The Thai tea was also enjoyable and tasty. Service was prompt and unintrusive. The atmosphere was peaceful. The price was affordable and appropriate for the portion size. I would return.

We love Thai Food! We try to visit Thai restaurants whenever we get to a new town and we are so glad we found this one. We were here for only an hour and decided to stop in for some coconut green curry chicken with jasmine rice. We loved the cleanliness and atmosphere, and service with a smile! We ordered veggies apps as well and everything was absolutely fresh and delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant, great coconut green curry!

Well, the Drunken Noodles ordered by friend was a better than my Yellow curry. Definitely give it a try as I am going to visit again only to eat Drunken Noodles.

It looks like there was an old Thai place but honestly the food they serve today (09/09/2023) was beyond delicious. The staff was able to respect our needs and did a great job.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We were driving through and thought, how bad could it be? Surprise! It was really really good! The flavors were really good and you could tell that the chef was not afraid to use fish sauce, I loved it.

We had the Tom Kha soup, Chicken fried rice, and Yum Nuer (Beef Salad)….it was all so good! If I lived here, this place would be a regular for me.

I would give it more stars for food, but it wasn’t perfect, but it was pretty damn good.

The atmosphere gets 3* because this is a strip mall joint and it feels like it. You don’t come here for the atmosphere.

My hubby and I are pretty picky when it comes to Thai food and we both agreed this was some of the best we’ve ever had. I had chicken pad Thai and my husband got the spicy cashew chicken and garden spring rolls. The peanut sauce is so yummy. Everything was delicious. Our new go to Thai restaurant!

Absolutely phenomenal food. Pad Thai and Fried Rice was extremely delicious and I’m picky with my Thai food. Highly recommend. Will be getting this in my payson visits from now on.

Fantastic food and fast

I hate writing negative reviews because this is someone’s way of making a living. But I cannot allow this to continue. My wife is Thai and we eat Thai food everyday in our household. My wife was craving papaya salad on our way to phx. Everything we ordered was pure sugar!! The chef has been so americanized from eating the local food. Not edible if you understand how real Thai food is supposed to taste. Unfortunately the locals won’t know any difference. If you are traveling through be prepared for very sweet dishes. One good note is the food looked great! Presentation was spot on. My suggestion would be use real limes. Stop using squeeze bottle lime juice. It makes a huge difference.

I'd drive up from Phoenix again and again for the best Lettuce Chicken wraps & Chicken soup I've ever eaten. I can't wait to return to try their other Thai dishes.

It was probably one of the best Thai food resturants I have been to. The cabbage soup, orange chicken & hawaiian paradise chicken was so good. We absolutely devoured it. We will definitely be back when go up to Payson again.

Honestly, the food was good, the service was good, and the Atmosphere was genuinely good. This is probably one of my more harsh rating, this is because it just didn’t quite reach that 5 star experience, but overall if I were you, I’d definitely give it a go!

OLD REVIEW: Whomever says this food is bland and flavorless, ordered the wrong items, or doesn't know Thai food. I've been to Thailand twice; lived in Bay Area, CA for 30+ years; with top international food all around. Payson's Thai Station is better than 90% of the Thai restaurants in PHX, and has improved with it's new ownership and name change. Try the Tom Ka soup!

We were at Thai Station tonight; they had a Valentines Day Special. It was so yummy. We had Tom Ka soup; it was to die for, included in the price of 2 entrees + soup special. So much leftover we had to take it home.
I love this place; it really makes Payson shine! Very affordable compared to anything in Sedona, etc.

First time eating here and we can’t wait to go again! During our meal we literally texted our friends and family that visit Payson to tell them how amazing the food was! We ordered takeout and the experience was fabulous!

We love this little restaurant, the orange chicken is amazing! Gotta start with the dumplings, yum! The staff is super sweet and helpful when trying to decide which of the 30 entree options there are! Highly recommend!

We had the Fresh Garden Rolls…fantastic with a delicious sauce! And the chicken satay was perfect!

I ordered the cashew chicken and it was enough for three (maybe two big eaters!) My husband had the Chicken Paradise which was AH-MAZING!!! It had three pounded chicken breasts deep fried in Panko Tempura with a very tasty sauce. To top it all off we ordered the sticky rice and mango dessert. It was all excellent and HUGE portions! You won’t regret eating here!

Food is taking a downward dive! Paradise Chicken was tough and others at the table said the food would be good if it had flavor.
The appetizers were great. Crab Rangoon, crab puffs, and pot stickers.

Massaman curry was not Massaman curry. Had this dish 100 times in Thailand and USA and this place was not even in the ballpark. Their other food maybe ok but not sure I want to spend money to find out.

I used to go there before they were Thai station and I have to say, I like the food so much better now. I ordered the Mango Curry and it was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the Fresh Rolls and Crab Rangoon and everything was very good. I'll be back!!

Disappointed. When this was Ayothaya the food was much, much better. Food looks good, but it was bland. Flavors just didn’t deliver. The portions are very large though, so that was a good thing. We may go back one day and try the curry since reviews say it’s good.

We have eaten at this location through the name changes and by far this owner makes the best curry. I ordered the red curry. It has lots of vegetables and a good portion of tofu!!

Huge portions of delicious food. Tried the pra ram lang song and Hawaiian delight. Both dishes were light and flavorful. Loaded with perfectly cooked chicken and vegetables. The staff was kind and I was greeted with a smile and my carry out order waiting. I went home with a TON of awesome food. Hands down, the best food I've had in Payson and I've been eating out every night while I've been working in town for the last month. My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

P.S. Don't listen to Michelle, who gave them a 1 star review without ever trying their food. They are definitely open past 6 PM. I just picked up my food at 7 PM. Maybe she went there on Tuesday, when they are closed. 🤔 You could always do what humans did prior to the advent of the Internet and give them a call. That's what I did. I've heard it is a great way to find the hours of an establishment.

Also, I can nearly guarantee you will give them a good review if you try it.
