Our experience was just okay we expected it to be better. While the interior was clean and had some charm, the service was lacking, the food was overly spiced despite ordering mild, and the best dish was the pork, but we likely wouldn’t return.

I haven't felt more welcome and "at home" at a restaurant in...I can't even remember how long. This place is delightful. They greet their customers by name, and everything we tried was tasty. My favorite of the night was the black pepper steak, but the "regulars" I went with said they love everything they've tried on the Simi's menu. They also had some of the most delicious spring rolls - if you aren't sure which appetizer to try, you can't go wrong with these. If you haven't been to Simi's yet, you should definitely check them out.

Absolutely amazing!!! The restaurant has nice ambience. The staff (short hair lady) was friendly with welcoming manners. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken lunch set and an iced Thai tea. The lunch set came with a bowl of soup, steamed rice, and 2 pieces of deep fried appetizers. Food was flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant! 10/10!!!!

Cannot speak highly enough of Simi's. The customer service here is exceptional- our waitress was so kind and went out of her way to check up on us. It was our first time here and we seemed to be the only customers they didn't know- everyone who came in they treated like old friends. The restaurant has an unassuming exterior, but the interior is nice and clean and pleasant. And the food! Fantastic. Portions sizes are crazy and the food is absolutely delicious. My husband got his favorite orange chicken he's ever had! We could have split our entrees. We decided that next time we come we'll split an entree and an appetizer.

EDIT: They were our go-to when everything was to-go only, and they are our go-to now that they are open for dine-in again! They serve everything on plasticwear now, but I feel it's more sanitary considering the times, and helps them spend less time on dishes, so I definitely don't mind! My wife and I did a late lunch here and this is by far the best pho we have had to date. The broth is rich and savory. Its a family owned business and the front seems basic and hole-in-the-wall feel but dont let that fool you. Great service and the atmosphere is very homey! Will come back to try their chinese and thai cuisine!

I'm visiting Arizona from the UK and I've got to say, this is one of the best restaurants I've been too. Any time I'm in this part of the world I make sure ai visit this restaurant. The food is amazing, amongst some of the best for this type of cuisine. Also, the customer service is second to none. I really couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

I was hoping for more Vietnamese dishes. Most of the menu was Chinese and a little Thai. The Chinese dishes we ordered were good. Portions were large. Our server was friendly and offered useful suggestions. We will go back.

This is REAL AUTHENTIC food at its best! And the people there are genuine, caring and very attentive. May not look like much from the outside but inside it’s a pure gem!

First time here, my wife and I had Basil Chicken, House Pan Fried Noodles and Vietnamese Summer Rolls ... not our preferred Asian tastes, or styles. Both dishes were not good overall, but did have lots of veggies ... the Summer Rolls had bad flavors and consistency. We left lots of food on both plates, no 'take homes'. The wait staff was excellent, very accomodating and friendly, and the atmosphere was very good, relaxing and pleasant for eating. The cost was average, $50!

Came here for the first time. We ordered the orange chicken and the general tso chicken. Appetizers were spring rolls and crab puffs they came with sweet and sour sauce. I don't like sweet and sauce but I still tried it. I have never in my life enjoyed every single last bite. Ohh and I got the lemonade. My goodness get the lemonade! I drank 3 of them. The staff is very friendly. Honestly about the best and sweetest kindest staff almost as if your mom was cooking for you. We will definitely be coming back. Even if I moved to a different city you best believe I will drive herr for another taste of heaven. Thank you so much for simply having delicious food and treating your customers so kind.

This very clean restaurant is extremely consistent. Every single time I've been here, the service is over-the-top friendly and genuine, the food is always fresh and tasty with large portions, the wait time is very short, the entire restaurant is spotless and clean, and considering all of that, it is reasonably priced! And it's this way every single time. Consistent excellency is hard to pull off but they do it!

アメリカの中華料理では悩んだときはモンゴリアンビーフを頼む。甘辛で美味しいことが多い。なんで日本にないのかな。
さて、例に漏れずこちらもモンゴリアンビーフ、今まで食べたのと結構違う。甘すぎずしょっぱすぎず、いい塩梅。そして唐辛子の辛さとうまさがダイレクトに感じられる、白いご飯泥棒である。
トムヤムクンスープは驚くほどの具の多さで、これだけでもお腹一杯になりそう。
今のところ私的フェニックスナンバー3に入る中華料理屋である。

One of the best Asian restaurants in Arizona. Crab puffs are the best.. You know this when you have 3 orders for 3 people. Everything is made in house. No colored dyes, easy to eat even with food allergies. Super friendly. I live almost 2 hrs Away and it's worth the drive!

This is without a DOUBT my favorite Asian kitchen in the valley! The staff is amazing and always so pleasant! The black pepper filet mignon is out of this world, the sauce that comes with it is literally to die for! We visit Simis multiple times a week and it never disappoints me

Had the most wonderful lunch with my husband and daughter today here. Tried veg/tofu pho in chicken broth and white pepper chicken! Mind blowing preparation. Very authentic!!

Our first visit was great. We had a light, early dinner. I was more impressed with the relationships the staff/owners had with the patrons. Every person that came in was treated like a regularly returning customer. Even though we overheard customers asking what’s good, it’s our first time here. Pretty good for the most part. Nice big portions, and the food tasted fresh and flavorful. Except the pho, wow I've never had pho that tasted like watery cardboard. So odd considering how good the entrees were. I took another star off because they give you half the food if you order takeout but charge more - totally unethical, and nontransparent business practice that I don't see any of their competitors do. The takeout boxes were snack sized portions, not enough to fill a person up we had to go out for more food after paying them $20+/plate (before uber fees). Also another time we ordered we were waiting 45 minutes to be helped which is another odd thing considering everyone else seemed to be served first that came in after us. Servers were kind, just not paying attention. Considering the high price and inconsistent service, I think we will go elsewhere, but everyone should try some of their entrees at some point! Good comfort food. Just don't do to-go!!!!

Was stereo typed the moment me and my partner walked in. After seated I noticed everyone around us was getting complimentary egg drop soup and we were purposefully getting skipped. When I approached the restaurant member to ask about the soup I was told it was because people ordered the lunch special, not knowing I watched the couple next to us ordered pho and still got the complimentary soup. I drove 25 min out of the way because of the reviews only to have that experience. I left before my food came out. Too bad you lost a potential loyal customer, hopefully this is a lesson to treat people equally :)

Grocery store deli level quality food. It's not exactly a Chinese restaurant they serve Vietnamese and Thai dishes too, tho these are nothing like the dishes they're supposed to be.

We've driven by this location many many times over the last few years. Finally, we decided to visit. We can't believe we've been missing out all along! Someone in our house wasn't feeling well, so we ordered Beef Pho to go for her. I also ended up getting the pho and it was delicious. The broth had an amazing flavor. We also ordered House Pan Fried Noodles...oh my gosh, so good. Next time we will order it with about half the sauce, it was a little much. But it was great!

Service was very personal. We felt welcomed and individually cared for. The manager/server made significant effort to come speak with us, make recommendations, and small talk. And it was very much appreciated. Another server noticed that we rode a motorcycle, and made sure our to-go order was packaged up so that we could place it in our backpack without spilling. Small things like that are missing from most other establishments these days.

Wow! Called in a pick up order on a Saturday evening and it was ready in 20 minutes and accurate even with all of our “special request” to meals (ie don’t make Mongolia beef Spicy, sweet and sour sauce on side of chicken). Wonderful food, friendly staff and great dining experience. This is a secret gem that I highly recommend.
There is a new theater in the parking lot that takes a lot of the parking. Don't be afraid to park far and walk. It's worth it.
Take out and delivery also offered.
Their Mongolian beef is Amazing.
If you want something different, the black pepper filet is soooo good and only a bit more. You won't regret it.
This is the best spot for Chinese food in the area. We drive 25+ minutes and will continue to do so.

Our first time to Simi's Cafe and the staff and food were fantastic!! The owner talked with us while we waited for our takeout. The orange chicken is a delight. We'll be back again and eat in next time!

Fast, friendly, affordable

Ordered a noodle dish. With shrimp chicken and Vegas. It was really good. The.pork had a lot of fat. I actually ordered a flat noodle dish and the waitress made a mistake andd brought us the wrong dish. She offered to take it back but it looked so good we decided to keep it. I will go back.

Wow. Every diner in the restaurant seemed to know the staff. Every seat was filled and I received the last open seat in the house without waiting. The service was prompt, and after ordering I only waited a few minutes for my food. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai (it’s a noodle dish with chicken). Everything was delicious. I had planned on taking half the dish home with me to munch on later but I couldn’t stop and I had to eat the whole thing. I don’t know why I didn’t try this place before!! If you haven’t been to Simis, you have to go. By the end you’ll feel like family.

I called and they hung up on me, so I am going to Panda Express, which is probably better.

This is the best family owned pan-Asian place in Phoenix. There's nothing on the menu that isn't good.

Love going here for some delicious food, welcoming service, and quality time with friends or family. Plates are big enough to share with another person, or for one very hungry person.

My family has eaten here for years. The staff is always so friendly and courteous. They remember us and what we like. Everything tastes great, but my favorite is the beef pho and Thai tea. It's so fresh and delicious. I've had pho other places, but Simis is by far the best. Its always very clean and tidy.

After a couple hours of reading reviews, this place looked awesome. High reviews, 4.8 out of 5. But when we got our food, we really weren't impressed. Blah..no zip. Fishy...kind of weird flavors. Not Chinese... definitely more Vietnamese, I guess. Don't think we'll go back there.

I want to start by saying I ate all my food. It was not bad. It just wasn't good.

The service and wait staff were amazing and the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. That goes a long way.

I ordered the chicken chow mein lunch special, it came with egg drop soup that was good not great, a Rangoon, and egg roll all of that was good. The issue was that the main dish lacked flavor. No spice at all on the chicken and it seemed like all the flavor was in just the noodles and vegetables so the chicken was probably added last and tossed a few times. The issue is that the chicken wasn't seasoned at all first so it was kinda tasteless and rubbery. No salt or pepper, no five spice no marinade nothing. I know it's not a five start place or anything but no salt? I dunno. It also came with rice that was a bit stale and I am not used to having a noodle dish and rice. I did not finish the rice.

Best Pho in the East Valley. Lettuce wraps are far better than Pei Wei. Friendly staff. Diane, the owner, is wonderful.

I love love love their Pan Fried Noodles. Literally the only place I have come across who has it. Soo worth it!

Went with my co-workers for lunch. I had the shrimp fried rice. Let's just say this has been the best Chinese food since I've been in Arizona. Told my kids about it so I'll be treating them soon. Also the portions are good for the price.

Was good..I don't think the fried fice was really fried, however.

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. She kept up on our drinks and orders. The potstickers were delicious. I also really enjoyed the orange chicken.

I eat here as regularly as I can. The food is so good! I especially like their teriyaki chicken. The veggies seem fresh, not saturated in sauce like a lot of places. I've tried several of their dishes and I've enjoyed them all. I also like the quaint, authentic and personal atmosphere. Very kind staff and great service!

This place is clean, the staff welcome you right away. Great customer service, they seem like they enjoy working here :)

Excellent food! The owner is very kind. It's evident that she cares about her customers. Very clean inside. We love this place!

Don't confuse it with Dr. Simi. My wife Edith Fair did that and she was outraged. I couldn't resist a tasty treat and got me some kung pao beef. O M G it was delish! Don't tell Edith!

I was looking for a place for Singapore noodles on the way back from Gold Canyon, and this place did not disappoint! It had a stronger curry flavor than some other places I've been to. They asked if medium spicy was fine, and I said ok, but it came back not spicy, which was not a problem. I don't know if the peppers they used just weren't spicy this time or something, but it was amazing without any spice. (They also offered me some chili to put in it anyway.) I also ordered egg flower soup. I love the meat they put in it. Hubby ordered house chow fun. Very yummy! The owner was so genuinely kind and courteous. She treated us like family, which is so rare and refreshing. I can't wait to come back again. God bless this beautiful family business!
