This was our first stop after flying into Fairbanks and we were not disappointed! I got the tofu pad Thai (hot) and my husband got the shrimp pad Thai. We were both impressed by how much protein was in our dishes. The flavor was great, and mine was truly hot, but not sweat your face off hot. The portions are huge! So it was great for lunch the next day as well.
We found this amazing place during our visit to Fairbanks and it was our go to place for comfort food. The staff is kind and the service is fast. On our first day we had hot thai tea, fried rolls, pad thai with chicken and their famous Penang curry with chicken and rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and this was one our first hot meal after a very long flight. On our next visit, the staff remembered us and greeted us kindly. We had their chefs special pineapple curry which provided a unique twist to thai food. Highly recommend this place if you are looking to have some amazing flavorful curries and good thai food.
Came here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the food and the hospitality. It feels like being in a magical Alaskan Thai cabin inside. Beautiful antiques and real art. Fresh flavors. I got hot level 2 green curry, but I wish I had gotten Thai hot, as it wasn’t as hot as I had hoped. Yummy fresh vegetables. Huge portions with a brown rice option. It is a very romantic spot to eat. They even have candles ready to go. I will return.
Super friendly lady working there who made me feel very welcome as a new customer. I ordered the pad thai medium which I feel I could have done hot, and it was yummy. The drunken noodles were one of the best I've ever had, I loved the big pieces of Basil and it was all cooked to perfection, got the medium spice which was perfect for this dish. Both dishes had tons of protein and were huge portions so definitely worth the price!
Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Tofu fried rice and panang curry were an amazing combination. Next time I come to Fairbanks, I'm stopping by again.
The dishes seem to be a bit sweeter than my two other fave Thai restaurants (noodle house and Bahn) but overall it’s very good. Vegetables in all the dishes were cooked crispy and the chicken and beef was tender.
I have been coming here for the past 3ish years and have NEVER had a single thing wrong. Service and food is always amazing. Tonight the food was not so good. I ordered pad thai, crab rangoon, and a Thai iced tea. The pad Thai had no sauce/seasoning as it usually has a ton from here and the noodles were so overcooked. Their crab Rangoon has always been handmade!!! Today it was from a freezer bag. Thai iced tea was not sweet at all but that’s whatever! I tried calling after looking at my food once I got home but it went straight to voicemail twice. Very frustrating as this was my go to spot ☹️
The food and service were good, but the restaurant had a funny smell. The bathroom was downstairs in a basement.
Amazing Thai food!

Top 2 go to food options in Fairbanks delicious and quick everytime
Krup khun mak mak ka (Thank you) for catering a delicious meal for my event. Everything I ordered (from the Pad Thai to the Pad Pak) was a hit. Highly recommend Pad Thai Restaurant! Will be back to see you when I'm in Fairbanks!
Must go for Thai food :)
I had the cashew pad thai, and let me tell you there were enough cashews for two meals, with peppers and onions in perfect supply,it was a honkin amount of food and I ate every single bite washing it down with delicious Chai tea.YOU MUST EAT HERE.
Delicious food and excellent service!

We had veggie pad Thai, pa nang beef and green curry chicken. They were all excellent. Probably some of the best we've had.
Best Thai food in town some of my favorites: panang curry, green curry, garlic herb fried chicken, pad Thai, and pra ram chicken. And I plan on trying much much more!
Delicious, good portions, and nice Fairbanks Cabin x Thai atmosphere inside. My go-to. And easy for picking up takeout too.

I did have gluten-free and vegan options here which was best. Such a lovely hidden gem this place was. Amazing food and the lady was so sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend to visit this place in Fairbanks
Yummy Thai food with accommodating Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Vegan options in meal.
Every time we come to Fairbanks we order take out from here! Great food, great portion sizes, great staff!
Best spring rolls in town!
Excellent Thai Food, that is an absolute must
Very good food and service. Well priced too.
Love the pad Siam combination
Picked up food from here again today.
It was fantastic!
I only give 4 stars because of the mid day closure. Otherwise a great place for delicious Thai food.
Good food at a good price.
My sister and I visited from California and Florida and we were getting a little disappointed with the Fairbanks cuisine. That’s UNTIL we found this little culinary gem.
From the moment you enter, you are greeted with warm hospitality, and the tantalizing aromas that waft from the kitchen leave you eager to explore the menu. With its authentic flavors, attentive service, and cozy ambiance, this place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a flavorful Thai dining experience.
So I came here to have lunch the other day and to try a new place. The food is absolutely amazing, I got the beef rangoon (it was a first time and amazing) and I was recommended the Panang Curry with pork hot and it looks just like the picture and OMG amazing. I told my wife about this place so we got takeout the next day and she got Pad Thai with chicken and she loved it, I again went with curry but this time my favorite Mussaman Curry with beef and hot and all was a amazing. I love curry but several places here it’s thin like a soup which sucks or its like straight white people Thai which sucks, not this, it’s thick and creamy and loaded with flavors. I now have a new favorite spot, hot is not too hot if you’re not into spicy, it’s probably more like a solid medium spicy. The noodles in my wife’s food were perfect and the dish had really good flavor. If you’re like me and have driven by this place a thousand times, stop and enjoy. 10 for 10 recommend
Had the green and yellow curry, both very delicious! Love a good curry and the atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. Service was great and the waitress was super welcoming!

I have tried 4 Thai restaurants in Fairbanks and this is the best. My husband and I love garlic fried chicken and Khao Soi (curry noodle bowl). Pad thai and pad see ew are also yummy and flavorful. Location is also great.
I absolutely love thai food from Pad Thai. I think it's the best value and best flavor.
Best thai in Fairbanks
Excellent pad Thai with good and accurate spice levels. Friendly staff
Delicious!!!! The green curry was the best I’ve ever had as was the tofu Pad Thai! I think we’re going to have to go back again during our five day visit!
The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were huge, the people that own it are so nice, and the prices are very fair, what more could you ask for? Excellent choice for tasty Thai!
Cute place, poorly insulated so your food and hot drinks will get cold fast. Server was friendly, service was okay, food came out hot and fast.
Thai hot tea ($3) was good with free refills.
The green curry with chicken and extra vegetables (20.95) was flavorful and good portion size. Like Lemongrass, you have to pay for rice ($2) separately (which is still weird to me, because, who doesn't eat rice with their curry?). I'd rank them behind the Noodle House and tied with Bahn Thai for 2nd in flavor, but lower on the list for their choice of vegetables. Pricey for what you're getting.
I absolutely love their Pad Thai w tofu & Xtra veg. My favorite out of all the local Thai restaurant options. I do wish they'd open an hour earlier. I know many restaurants hours have changed since Covid rocked our world so I understand.
This place is actually really good and authentic. Comparable or even better than many Bay Area/LA thai restaurants.
Great yellow curry
Hidden gem in Fairbanks! Amazing food
Small and Cozy with amazing food. Staff was super nice and its decently priced 😁 will definitely go back again!
So yummy!!! And the service is very friendly and attentive!
Such a hidden little gem, cute resturant and fresh great tasting food!
Food and service was fantastic! My boyfriend doesn't like fried rolls but he ate them right up. I usually get nervous about rubbery chicken, but the chicken yellow curry was perfect. The medium spicy was spot on. 10/10
When you want the feeling of eating Thai food and somebody's living room this is the spot
Excellent food and service in an old fashioned setting suitable for Alaska.
Our family often orders takeout here. The online ordering option makes it easy for everyone to get what they want. In a city of great Thai food, this place is among our favorites.
Fast service
The drive-thru situation confused me (there's only room for 2-3 cars before you're sticking out in the street) so I parked and ordered to-go.
Happy I did - cashew chicken wasn't much to look at but was very tasty.
the service was great and the food and portions were excellent
good food and a smile go an extra mile
Great food, some of the best prices in town, really nice employees, and a convenient drive through pickup.
I had also heard the legend of Alaska's Thai food being some of the best in the world and we had to investigate that claim. This place did not dissapoint! They are located in Fairbanks near the University. We had the Pad Thai noodles and Fried Rice and couldn't get enough. We ended up getting it to go though, so I have no pictures for you guys...the sun was going down, it was starting to snow, the road was icy and I still had an hour and a half to drive to our next lodging, so sorry about that...but take it from me. It was to die for.
It was okay. Customer service was great. Food was okay tbh. I'd definitely go try again and try a different entree . Cozy place as well
Food was probably the best Thai food we have ever had. Server was friendly, competent, and personable. Highly recommend
The best pad Thai I’ve ever had
Not sure if this was considered the best place in town or the only one open, but they....were...BUSY!!! It took a while for me to get help to be seated in the tiny house turned restaurant. When I did get seated, the single waitress, hostess, cashier, cleaning lady eventually got to our table. She was running around like a chicken with her head cut off but she did it with grace and a smile. I'm not sure if they were normally short staffed or someone was out or what but as for the food, we LOVE Thai and have a Thai friend who has even made the food in our home before, and this was sub par. The Thai iced tea tasted like the leaves were reused so it was watered down. We ate Drunken Noodles (good), Panang Curry (pretty salty), yellow curry (can't make a comparison as we haven't had this particular dish before). We saw at least 2 tables of customers get up and walk out after being seated and not helped for quite some time. I took our kids out to the car to wait for hubby to pay the check and it took him another 15-20 minutes. I probably wouldn't go to this location again.

The yellow curry is really good. I recommend it.
I love this place. Pad Hed is my go to order and it is almost always wonderful. Today was a little salty, but overall I really enjoy it.
Surprised to have the original Thai food in Fairbank ,even better than the Thai food in Houston. Very good taste!!!
Once upon a time this place was good. I was recently reminded why I never go there anymore. Drunken noodles tasted salty, pineapple rice was a bunch of mismatched flavors, and the pad prew wan just tasted like ketchup. Plus the chicken in it was overcooked and dry. 0/3 that day.
Delicious Thai food. Creamy Yellow Curry goes nicely over rice. Appetizer sampler was a great way to try a little of everything. Avocado chicken salad was so good!
Great food, and super quick service.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Fairbanks. They have drive-thru service for pickup and take home orders, too!
Easily the worst thai food Ive ever had. The noodles were overboiled and lacked spices and flavor. There were only a handful piece of chicken and barely any veggies in the pad thai and the pad sew. Avoid this place. I regret spending $14 a plate there.
Food is tasty, but the places is really pricey
Love this place! Great Thai food
Kao Soi- the yellow curry soup- is the best thing on the planet. I have literal dreams about this. Love this place
A nice, authentic Thai restaurant. The food and experience was very homey. Some items are kind of expensive, but nothing to complain about.
Great food! Nice people. Good atmosphere.
Authentic looking place - food is good.
It was Saturday lunch time and they told us there is no lunch menu and we had to take the dinner menu.
Nice Thai cuisine, small restaurant but very comfortable. Price is also friendly.
餐點不貴,味道不錯
Great flavors! The quantity and prices are super reasonable too. Definitely recommend it!
My boyfriend and my go to Thai restaurant. I have been going there for 6 years and I have never had a bad experience. The place is small but has a homey feel too, though the bathroom is a little scary for me since it's in the basement. The food is always good and in big portions, especially during dinner time. I highly recommend this place.
Quaint restaurant. Great service. Tasty food!
This place is very quant. Run by what appears to be a small Thai family. Good prices, though maybe not the best pricing in town for Thai food. ~$15 for a bowl of curry, chicken with rice.
The interior is very cute and has a fun rustic feel with tons of exposed wood.
Their garlic chicken is AMAZING
Great fried rice.
Great place for thai food in the fairbanks area! It feels like a solid local eatery. Every one their is very friendly and the food is on point. Some of the best pad thai I've had in town and the test if the menu stands up very well.
Beautiful, welcoming atmosphere. But go here for the food. Most definitely the food.
Service was super fast and friendly! Generous portions!
Great lunch special price. Had some spicy drunken noodles
Very nice little place to eat. Warm staff who serve delicious pad thai that is super hot and ready to be devoured. The interior was nice and clean, even kinda fancy with the white table cloths. It turned out to be a great place to go for and date. My husband enjoyed a thai chicken salad - #13 on the menu (I cant remember its name). He got it with medium spice which really complimented the salad.
I had the tofu pad thai - mild - and even my hubby was stealing the tofu off my plate (he normally doesn't like tofu).
We had a great experience and will definitely come back - next time I plan on taking advantage of their outside seating.
Great place. Been eating there for many years now.
The was delicious. Service was great and super fast.
Ordered the Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup and fried spring rolls
The Pad Thai and Tom Yum were SO sweet, after a few bites the sweetness is too much and ended up in the trash. What a waste of $50.
.
Great food ...very fresh good service
I order online all the time, love their food. However, recently, when I've selected and PAID for tofu to be in my dish, there hasn't been any. I let them know about the issue this last time I ordered. I received my food, pulled it out of the bag, and on the container it said "EX TOFU" with a star drawn on it! THERE WAS SO MUCH TOFU! I really appreciate them doing that for me. Highly recommend them.
Excellent food, good service. My wife asked for a hot curry but only got mild, which is relatively minor. However, the curry was very milky and more like soup. The pad Thai was delicious though.
We got into Fairbanks late and were craving some Thai food. They were still open, the service was great and the chicken pad himmaparn was amazing.
The PadThai meal was great.
Always a delicious experience
Very good and fast. Order for takout too. Best pad thai
Lamb. Large portion great quality. Best meal in a while so good I ate it all.
Good food for the price. Definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in town. Ordered the Panang Curry with Chicken, Seafood Tom Kha and Thai Salad. All three entrees were great. Ordered them all in Thai spicy which definitely added some kick. The dining room area was a little bit limited but wasn't bothered by it. Definitely recommended.
Don't eat here, I've had food poisoning for the past 3 days and still feel like dying, not the way I wanted to spend my vacation. They took so much from me
Muy buena comida
Everything is professional and delicious !
Really authentic and tasty Thai food.
Side Walk Noodle soup is amazing here!
I've been going there for about 4 years and they're always nice, have great tasty food and thoughtful.
I eat Thai food about three times per week. I have a Thai girlfriend, and visit Thailand annually. I think I have a pretty good idea of what authentic Thai food is all about.
Unfortunately what I think Pad Thai restaurant is about is profit. Last time I ordered the green curry I received rice, onions, and maybe four vegetables.
I've tried the ginger with rice and tofu, and was entirely too salty.
Pad Thai is way too sweet.
I've given this place plenty of chances, but mostly they seemed about profit and not quality food. People here are very friendly, service was good. No issue there, but I don't want to pay $11 for rice and onions.
Just down the street is Bahn Thai, which in my opinion is much better. There's also Siam Thai down towards the old Sam's Club, and serving size there is quite large.
The service is good and food was served fast, however, pad thai noodles is too sweet not the same that I’ve had like the one in Anchorage, also the bbq chicken is way too sweet too with the coconut hint taste. I wish it is much savory than sweet note. Won’t recommend it if your truly want a Thai food.
Great food!! massive portions and great service!
Their green curry it's my absolute favorite in town. They have many other amazing dishes as well.
As others have said, it's a small place with limited parking, but it's definitely worth going!
Usually good service. Always awesome food.
Expensive. Rice costs extra :(
Nice decorated cabin with small seating area.
Quick service :)
Pretty tasty, kind of sweet. Depends on what you like
Best Thai food in ‘merica!
Every time I visit AK I must visit this Thai restaurant! Best there is...
My favorite local Thai place
not that much hospital.
First time trying and loved it.
Ok Thai place. Unfortunately, menu food looks better than in real life. :( Also had quite a few flys flying around the restaurant.
Portions are huge and food is great.
Service and atmosphere was ok. Food was subpar, even the dish from which the restaurant was named. Some of the worst Thai food I've had.
Three people joined me for dinner at Pad Thai restaurant. Everyone was pretty dissatisfied with the flavor of their meals. The food was very bland but the service was decent. Would not go back.
