The food are great except their Pad thai is a bit sweet maybe because of Hoisin sauce , mostly noodles and nuts only. Some vegies are missing, too compared from than the real ones that we have years ago from Thailand. Please put some tamarind sauce and make it a little bit of spicy not sweet🥲

But overall, some food especially thier curry is a must try and service from friendly crew much appreciated.

The average lunch plate is $10 and includes soup and and entree compliments. Drunken noodle (ask if you want legit spicy) and teriyaki box were hot, fresh, and very yummy. This place is an incredible value. I'm looking forward to my next meal here. 💚

Modernly updated interior with the extra little details that made the place pop. The rose top straws and small rose table decorations brought it all together.
During the first visit, I was never sure who my server was as one lady took my drink order and brought my drink, a lady took my food order and brought my food, neither came to check on my during my meal. A guy did eventually come check well after I finished my meal to ask if I needed more drink and brought me my check.
During the second visit, the service was better, except we still never got a refill.

Very good place for Thai Curry in Huntsville. Welcoming environment with a great selection of food, healthy portions, and all at a very fair price! I left feeling full, but not heavy, all for under $15 (with tip included)!

I ordered the Yellow Curry and it was heavenly! They started with Coconut soup (I think) which was such a wonderful symphony of exquisite flavors. I was pretty impressed as I haven't had very good coconut soup in the past and wasn't very excited for it. The curry was presented in a mouthwatering display with a cute little carrot flower on the rice (see pictures). It also had an amazing flavor and complimenting textures. They have even painstakingly shaped the straw wrapper into a cute little flower! Something I thought was a very nice touch that most will take for granted. It communicated to me just how far they go to make sure every detail is accounted for considering how fair the prices are.

It's too bad I'm traveling for business, because I would absolutely make this a bi-weekly dining experience. It's also a shame I didn't get an opportunity to try the Pad Thai! Next time I'm in Huntsville, I will be coming here again.

If you're looking for a good place for Yellow Curry, I can say with a high level of confidence that you won't be disappointed. Fair-priced Thai flair that won't leaving you feel like you have to nap the afternoon away.

The service is amazing, the food is wonderful, the atmosphere was romantic on Valentine’s Day. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our server was so personable and kind.

Their menu description of their curries didn't sound good so I got mixed vegetables. Very good vegetables and I liked the brown sauce better than most. We agreed my wife's pad thai was the worst we've ever had and the egg rolls were even worse than the pad thai, if that's even what they were supposed to be.

I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken. It came with a cup of coconut soup and two spring rolls. It was delicious! This was my first experience at Thai Elephant, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back.

The Thai Elephant is phenomenal. It is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I've visited. I tried the Pad Thai, Cucumber Salad, Tom Khai soup, and Fried Banana. The presentation was on point but the flavors were superb. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the Maddison area and in the mood for delicious Thai food. The staff provided excellent friendly service.

We discovered this little place on a recent visit to the Huntsville area. We enjoyed our first dinner there so much that we returned two nights later for another dinner. There are a number of choices and we thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered on each visit. You get plenty to eat as we had enough to take some home for a second small meal later. I'll qualify that by saying we're older and don't each as much as we once did and have also learned not to stuff ourselves. In fact, the second visit we ordered one meal and shared it. The servers are friendly and prompt and it was overall two very nice visits. I'm sure we'll be back when again in Huntsville.

Excellent Penang! I grew up with a Thai step-family and really enjoyed this! Outstanding service and a pleasant surprise to sample a mini-banana egg roll. Glad to have found Thai Elephant.

Staff was terrible. We got their an hour before close and they told us that they only do to-go orders because they would close soon we tried asking why when we were an hour before the closing time and they were rude and said “I know”. We’ve come there twice and got the same answer every time. They never answer the phone either. Their hours are near impossible for us to go and sit in due to mine and my wife’s jobs but because of the way they handle situations with customers. WE WILL NEVER RETURN!

Very nice establishment all around. Inviting dinning area and entrance. Food was very good as well and they will modify add/delete items as you ask. They will also make it as hot as you want. Personally I enjoy hot spicy food and they did well on my order. Service was also good and fast but not the point of making you feel rushed. We will be back. Enjoy.

I loved the pad thai and coconut soup

Met friends here for dinner on Saturday night. Our first time here. It's in a strip mall, but atmosphere and service belied the location. Lots of good Thai specialties to try. Food for the four of us came out slowly, one plate at a time, which was a little awkward, but service was fine otherwise. Might be better suited for everybody to share dishes as they come out.

Delicious food at a really affordable price! The red curry and drunken noodles were both extraordinary!

Went here for date night and had a splendid time. Food was so flavorful and hit that part of your soul that makes you feel all warm inside, service was timely and very polite, and the music was a great choice. Overall, I wish I had another stomach to eat more dishes!

The basil summer rolls were delicious and if that's all I had I would have given a 5.
Where do I start with the Phad Thai.... it was not good.... Overly sweet and way tooooo much fish sauce, and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. They also didn't bring lime with it, which it should come with. I had to ask for it, and when she brought me the 2 wedges, she brought them out in her bare hands... No plate... Overall not good at all.

The meal did come with a banana egg roll that was pretty good... Crispy and sweet. Skip the pink dipping sauce though..it is just sugar water.... Overall the appetizers were good. The main entree was not good, and didn't appreciate the bare hand service

We were greeted w a friendly smile and hello and seated right away. They served a soup for us both w the drinks, it was so delicious! We ordered and 5-7 minutes later we each had our main entree. It was so tasty-we will definitely come back again w family and friends.

Always great food, and I love the effort they put into all their presentation! This is usually a first choice for Asian food in the area, for me. Spicy stuff is actually spicy and flavorful. The Thai Iced Tea and Coffee are yummy, too. I never leave here hungry, and usually have leftovers for later. Love the pork egg rolls, too. Haven't been disappointed, yet, across several dine-ins. Staff, service, and speed is usually good, too.

Would have loved to give five stars but the chicken satay could have been cooked just a bit longer... everything else was delicious and served piping hot! Definitely the best Thai I have enjoyed since California!

Probably my favorite restaurant in the general area at this point I return at least weekly. The Beef Salad, fried rice, and soup are all fantastic and the staff is happy to customize, take allergies seriously, and spice according to taste on request. If you want Thai Food this is your best option within 50 miles don't even bother trying the rest

First time and WILL NOT be the last. Everything was literally perfect. Food was delicious and piping hot. Just the right level of spice. With excellent server checking frequently but not over bearing. The atmosphere is what I would say is casual upscale with great music playing at a moderate level where you can hear it but still have a conversation without shouting.
I personally had the coconut soup drunken noodles and gyoza, I would go into each dish but each one was perfect. And the tiny egg roll with banana coconut and pineapple is the right amount of sweet to balance the spice in the dishes.
I highly reccpmmend and will be back.

I always get my food to go and the Panang and Thai Basil never disappoint.

My Daughter decided to try this Restuarant We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. The portions were large, but it was so good we ate it all. I've tried the Drunken noodles and a curry dish. Daughter also ordered dumplings and liked them a lot. Thai Elephant just off Madison Blvd in Madison a great little place.

Wow the food was AMAZING! I’m a creature of habit and get the same thing all the time once I discover I like it (in this case, Pad Thai!) but I was feeling a bit adventurous and got Panang Curry, that was delicious. All their appetizers and entrees serve to be great every time me and friends/family go. They’re so cute and attentive!

My daughter got a lesson in how they make the flowers on their straws. She loved every minute of it. She picked this place out of all the other options for a family dinner for her birthday.

The food was very good; however, the service was the worst. My husband had already finished his food before mine arrived. We ordered the same dish. The server never came by to refill my husband tea—which was served in small glasses. He had emptied his before the appetizers had been served. He tried to flag someone down, but they ignored him. When the lady at the register brought the receipt for us to sign—she literally threw it on the table.

Their fried rice was probably the best I've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned, I didn't need to add a thing. Didn't know how I'd feel about the fried banana, but it was good. The sauces were good too.

If you’ve never had real Thai food, this would taste great to you. It wasn’t average to me.

For the amount I paid, I could make better Thai food at home. I would have way more flavors than this. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t as good as Thai food in ATL (where I’m from). I had the red curry that barely had color. Thai tea wasn’t strong and tasted like a kit from Walmart or something….

Aside from that, the person who gave me my takeout was kind and quick.

What can I say! I absolutely love this restaurant, the food is excellent and the servers and waitresses are so very attentive and kind, not to mention cute! I am an over the road truck driver staying out two weeks to two months. So when I'm in town coming here is like coming home.

Really nice place! I think the curry and their orange chicken (even though that’s not Thai) was pretty good!

Spice level: got spicy (which is right next to Thai spicy in their level system) and the spice below it. I couldn’t tell a difference between the two and I want to note that their spicing system is NOT very spicy so if you like heat, I would get Thai hot spicy!

Waitress: she may have been having a bad day, but the waitress was a little rude. Maybe it’s because we are a younger couple, but she made a mistake and made it look like it was my fault she misunderstood. After her mistake, she never came to check up on us or fill our water and never said thank you or goodbye which seems standoffish.

Other than the waitress though, it was really good for Thai food in Alabama and we would go again!

Flavors needed to be "amped" up in the food.

The food was good, service was excellent but the ambience was lacking for the price point. We had 2 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers and 2 entrees for $60. I ordered shrimp green curry and recieved chicken green curry. It was good but not what I was expecting. This was priced roughly the same as Phuket with smaller portions and a strip mall locale. Like I said, everything was fine but we'll go to Phuket for roughly the same price and much nicer setting.

I had chicken and rice. It was very good and quite flavorful. The soup they brought before the food was awesome and the egg rolls very tasty and crisp. Our server was very prompt and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely worth trying and then going back again and again!

First time eating here and we will be back. The food was outstanding, and the service was top notch. Even though they were fairly busy, the servers were very attentive. I don't think my drink ever got below half full without someone refilling it. The food presentation was very nice, flavors were on point and the heat level was perfect.

Even busy it's not loud, and so attentive! Had drinks before we even needed to think about it, appetizers were fresh and hot. Entrees followed in perfect timing. Even the plates didn't have time to warm up from the prep area.
Wonderfully seasoned, so fresh you can taste it, and the Thai tea was freshly brewed. A surprise find on your travels and very much worth the stop.

I went to the Thai Elephant for a business lunch and it was so good! The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. The little glasses that they put the dressing in were so cute.

The salad and dressing made from scratch. We had the drunken noodles and the cashew chicken. All was extremely tasty and we cannot wait to return to try more.

So the food is closer to 3-3.5 stars. Its not like it was bad just somewhat bland flavors. Dont get me wrong, what flavor was there was good. The presentation was spot on! The place itself is beautiful. Menus are cool. Service was impeccable. Like hands down best ive had in awhile. Not to mention the people were super nice. Id go back. Now granted I only tried the teriyaki chicken and the orange chicken. My wife felt the same about the food. Id go back but idk if id expect too much out of the food. All in all it wasnt a bad dinner

The coconut soup was ok. Three of us got Pad Thai and it was not good, it didn’t taste like homemade. One of us liked the salad and one of us liked the spring rolls. The service was ok. The bathroom was not stellar. I don’t know, maybe it was the time of day? We went on a Saturday afternoon about 1:45.

The coconut soup is delicious! I ordered the massaman curry with shrimp and my husband ordered the coconut soup with chicken. Fried banana roll was great too. I also got a Thai tea. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and everything tasted great. The music isn't too loud either. We will be back.

Very good Thai food for the area. This place is certainly on par with other Thai food places in town, and is probably above average. They have all the usual curry options, plus more.

The lunch service was quick and efficient, and the food came out very well presented and has some extras and sauces included as well. Would go again.

Chicken soup amazing

My favorite dish is spicy Thai Basil. So I ordered it and so did my husband. We found it to be lacking. The wonderful balance of flavors classic in the dish, simply was not there. The sauce was lacking in quantity. There was plenty of chicken, in fact too much. It was lacking in onions and red pepper and most most obvious…….hardly ANY Thai Basil! The Thai Basil lends a distinctive delicious flavor to the dish. It just wasn’t there. The dish was bland. So hence our rating which I would say is generous at a 3.

Very good Thai food. Curry Drunken Noodle very flavorful and had the right amount of spice that kept my mouth tingling. Pad Thai, Cashew Chicken, Pad See Ew all excellent. Friendly attentive staff. Food came out quickly and hot! Will definately go again.
