Bright, buzzing eatery with outdoor seating preparing traditional specialties such as pad Thai.
We went there on a long weekend night , it was pretty crowded . Luckily we found a table in few mins as it was there closing time they were in hurry but the service was really good . Ambience was also good .
We ordered
Thai Iced tea 5/5
Egg rolls 4/5
Yellow curry with Tofu 3/5
Spicy fried rice with tofu 4/5
Massaman Curry with Duck was more soup than Curry, Duck was okay. Fried vegetables were barely cooked but tasted also okay.
Thai Ice tee is great!
Service was quick.
The mens bathroom was just dirty and it reeked of urine. I felt really uncomfortable.
Overall not a great experience.
PRICY but delicious. Prices are posted, so don't be surprised when you get hit with the bill. We loved our time. I'm gluten and peanut free, and they made the food exactly how I requested. We were served quickly and with a nice server. The room was quiet. We enjoyed every aspect. Yes it was pricy, but the food was DELICIOUS.
The wait was long, the food was average but the price was high and forced gratuity was ridiculous. They also have no concept of spice level. The servers were nice enough, but I would not come back.
We stayed very close to this restaurant on my ski trip to Jackson Hole and thought we would give it a try on our first night after a long day of travel. The place was very busy and atmosphere was great. The food is absolutely delicious, so much so that we returned here another 2 times during our 5 day trip.
Would highly recommend.
Don’t order soup or curry, they are pretty average.
Honestly I was surprised by the bad reviews here. I got the cashew chicken and it was quite good! Beware that even level 2 spicy has a little kick! But I really enjoyed. I will say I can see how people think the prices are high. My bill was over $30 for a lunch meal and a beer. But I would visit again!
They auto grad 20% and then try to trick you into tipping on top of that!! The food is decent but has definitely not gotten better in recent years. Still nice atmosphere but the prices are wild
Great food and good price for Jackson.
Food was great, large portions, and my husband and I were able to share! Highly recommend, and the cashew chicken was on point!!!
Good food
Nice family owned business. Food was great
Food was poor quality. Service was also poor. Min
They stole my money. I gave waiter 15% tip, however they changed it to 25%, that was $8.
We ordered chicken noodle soup and some other dishes. Chicken meat was very old done, very little meat and noodle. Vegetables in other dishes were hard too.
Disappointed! Used to be great Thai. My last few visits over the last year or so have been extremely disappointing. I'm not sure how it's possible to make green curry so flavorless. It was palatable, but bland. The curry paste used was bland - there was no kaffir lime leaf, fish sauce, lime or cilantro. Green colored coconut milk....
Included a gratitude/tip without notifying us first
Very bland under whelming food. Ordered the yellow curry and pad see ew with chicken without heat and it came as bland as cardboard. I tried adding salt and I still couldn’t get any taste from the food. Note to self never eat here again! … so if you are looking for bland un offensive zero flavor food then this is your Thai place!
Appetizers were great and service was fast. Entree was OK, a bit bland but nothing majorly wrong. Small portions.
Be careful with the auto gratuity. They added 20 percent - luckily I saw this scribbled into the bill , because they never verbally mentioned it, and then they still ask for tip after. Kind of felt scammy.
High prices / poor value but on par with Jackson.
Restaurant full of people but closed early.
I recently dined at this restaurant and was left extremely disappointed. The food had a burnt smell, which made it difficult to enjoy, even though it was still edible. When I politely mentioned this to the staff, they responded with rude and arrogant behavior, not even offering a simple apology. I was expecting at least a "sorry" for the inconvenience. This kind of customer service is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.
This Restaurant forces 20% percent tip, which shocked me!!!
Food is ok, tip forcing really sucks.
We ordered pineapple fried rice, yellow curry and pad thai. We requested veganized versions of all the items and the restaurant staff was quick to understand and accommodate our request. We found all three to be delicious. Service was quick. Decor and ambience was satisfactory.
Waiter started making weird faces when mentioned about sharing food. We were checking another plate to order . Even without checking with us she just dropped the check at the table.
20% tips add to bill without any prior notice. I almost give tip twice! And it is not thai food, too sweet.
The food is delicious and wicked fast. Our food took less time to get to us than it took for us to eat it. Portions are plenty large. Ordering ahead by phone for pickup is an option. I got the chicken pad thai, delicious. Shrimp salad, delicious. Beef pad see ew, delicious. A+ rating for the price.
I had been roadtripping around the west with my family. I am vegetarian so my options were very limited and my diet for a week consisted of cereal grilled cheese and pancakes on the road. When we were finally in brigham city I wanted good food with vegetables and vegetarian options. This place was like the holy grail. I got the tofu noodle soup and it was so delectable. I keep talking about it and it’s been over three days. The woman serving us was also very kind. I highly recommend it was peak. The fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce and thai iced tea were also yummy in my tummy.
Yummi. Authentische Thaiküche.
Horrible service- very rude staff and beware of their tricks.
When asked on the food quantity- the server made a face with “wow”, afterwards she never came back. Someone else brought food.
They charged 20% gratuity- when questioned why 20%, they said they charge 15-20% but they decided to charge 20%. I felt terrible to argue while being with the kids. Please beware and watch your bill.
Delicious food after whitewater rafting. Good service and the broths were amazing! Would come back.
Just felt it was overpriced according to the portion size they were serving and the spice level was not up to the mark.
Overall, food was decent.
Excellent food! Big portions and nice service. Atmosphere isn't anything to write home about. As everything in Jackson, prices are 30% higher than normal.
Got the Tom kha gai, it was really sweet it became overwhelming. Tried adding chili but it didn't make it spicy at all.
The spicy Thai fried is really good. Although the yellow curry could be made better gives a decent dine-in deeper ice while on a vacay. The wait time is also less. The service is pretty good.
We are a family of 4 and we ordered 3 entree. The lady who took our order was rude and told us only 3 and made a very unpleasant face. Nonethless, the food was very mediocre except for their pineapple rice which was a bit better. After taking the order the server came to place the food on table and never once returned thereafter. We ordered too less for them to care that was clear from their body language and way of speaking. At checkout we were charged a 20% tip with no option for us to select % tip. Not a small to medium size group that it should be justified when they put 0 effort towards “service”. At checkout the gentleman was also in a hurry to get us out of the door so he could close it. Never returning or recommending to anyone. Not impressed at all.
Also ambiance is not nice. Toilets very unclean and unhygienic
We waited 20 minutes without anyone talking , the people next to us said the food was just okay. The menu was limited and expensive for a Thai restaurant.
Pad Thai is incredible. I've been here a million times and it never gets old! Service is awesome!
The food wasn't super Thai-like, but it was pretty good.
Food was good but it's definitely pricey if you buy more than 1 plate
Excellent food, very fresh good quality ingredients. Cashew chicken was terrific.
Great green curry!! Our fried egg rolls were cold unfortunately :/ More casual restaurant option in Jackson.
Okay here we go. So I love Thai food but this place positively nailed it. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff are quiet and the decor is minimal but don’t be fooled. Get the Thai fried rice with Chicken. It’s gonna make your day. I’m going back tomorrow for more and probably ordering the Tom Yum soup. Super delicious flavors and if you like it tasty and spicy but not death hot get the level 3 spice. It’s perfect. If you’re here on vacation for a few days only, eat here. Don’t wait. It’s vacation for your mouth.
Skinny waitress has two faces.
One for White one for Asian.
She rolled her eyes at me when I asked some napkins.😤
瘦子服務員會翻白眼,沒水準。
The food here is fantastic!!! Mic drop
The food is over priced and they charge gratuities for 4 persons sitting in a table. And the staffs are very mean and shows anger for asking the questions on gratuity.
We went there on a long weekend night , it was pretty crowded . Luckily we found a table in few mins as it was there closing time they were in hurry but the service was really good . Ambience was also good .
We ordered
Thai Iced tea 5/5
Egg rolls 4/5
Yellow curry with Tofu 3/5
Spicy fried rice with tofu 4/5
We have just had very expensive lunch in this restaurant. We will not come back to here anymore. How come the resto made their own decision for the gratitude fee ? It is ridiculous to charge us 40% gratitude fee for very little service we had'. We dont recomend anyone to eat here.
To expensive, tax 40 persen
Dont eat here
Nothing special.
I dont want back any more
It's very expensive. $21 for a noodle soup. Tipping is mandatory at 20% and there is no public wifi.
Food was excellent!! We all loved it. Definetely recommend
I would give them 6 stars if I could! The red and green curry sauces were terrific! We can’t wait to come back!
Include 20% gratitude without heads up beforehand. I end up pay for more than 40% gratitude.
I had chicken soup with noodles, was great. Huge dishes, they gave me a soup box for take away- without me asking.
The service was amazing, I feel sorry for leaving this town, just cause I can’t come one more time:)
Ho, and they have vegan options.
Best dinner I've eaten so far on our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We got pad see ew, fresh rolls and Thai tea. All were delicious and fresh tasting. Service was great. Highly recommend!
We came here twice on our trip to Jackson. As a vegetarian we found multiple dishes made without fish or oyster sauce which was surprising for a small town. We got the tofu noodle soup, pad kee mao, and tom yum soup and it was all so delicious. A 3 spicy was perfect for my taste buds and not mild as it usually ends up being at other places. Would definitely visit again!
Cozy place.
Fresh rolls delicious. Yummy peanut sauce.
Pad See Ew spice 2 was very tasty as well. We are vacationing so did not want to over order.
Service was attentive.
We enjoyed our dinner. Our meal with 2 jasmine teas and tip was $46. Not bad for mountain tourist town.
Seem very local and POC owned. Love supporting local businesses.
Wow! I'm a foodie and it hit the spot!
The food is good, I liked it better when it was a hole in the wall restaurant.
Non-functioning phone
Wonderful Thai
Amazing food and service
Authentic Thai at a very reasonable price
Nice ppl..good food...I had lunch..
Best authentic Thai in Jackson
Went here with a big group after a long ski day and Thai Plate was able to accommodate us quickly and feed us a terrific meal! They kept our glasses full and were very attentive to our group! I got the massaman curry and it was FANTASTIC! I would come back and get it again!
If you’re looking for a great Thai food and great service in Jackson then look no further than Thai plate!
泰好吃了ㄅ,老實說我都只點Pad Thai而已。
以被困在Teton的人來說能吃到這樣的亞洲料理算不錯了🥲
如果是來玩的話就不要太挑惕ㄌ
Really really good Thai food! Loved that our noodle dishes weren’t dry like many other places. FYI this place is BYO Wine.
Meh. I had green curry. I couldn’t even tell it was curry (weak) and very bland. I had to ask for salt. Much better Thai in Idaho Falls and at a reasonable price, but I guess it is Jackson….everything is a rip off here. The staff was very nice and very good service. Nothing special about the food.
Place absolutely slaps best Thai in jackson the green curry goes hard
The experience at this restaurant was simply awful:
The neighboring table was as noisy as a market, and our requests to change tables or reduce the noise fell on deaf ears from the owner/waiter.
The waiter couldn't even figure out the order and gave my meal to someone else, turning the entire dining experience into a guessing game.
The most ridiculous part was that they took it upon themselves to add an 18% tip despite the poor service, and when we objected, the owner/waiter played deaf and simply ignored our dissatisfaction.
All in all, definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
"The restaurant experience: comedy or tragedy, you name it.
A large choir at a neighboring table, the show was free, but who wants to listen to a live version of Animal Farm while eating? Our pleas for help were like praying to the desert for rain, and the owner/waiter's response literally wins the award for best ignorance.
The waiter treated our order like a guessing game -- "Guess whose food will come first?" As it turned out, everyone lost. Our confirmation session was more rigorous than an airplane pre-takeoff check, but apparently it fell on deaf ears with our waiter.
As for the 18% tip that was automatically added to the bill, it was a comedic climax. We challenged to reduce the tip, and the owner/waiter turned into a linguist and performed a monologue of "I don't understand English". At the end, they closed with a paid bill and a pen, as if to say, "Welcome back, we'll do it again next time!
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND NEVER AGAIN
1. a large group sat next to our table and was SUPER LOUD. We asked the owner/server to do arrange us to different table or at least do some thing so we don’t suffer from the others table. The owner/server refused said there is nothing he can do.
2. Server messed up our order. Served my food to my friend after we double confirmed with her. Glad my girlfriend ordered two entrees and they served right, otherwise I would be starving at a restaurant.
3. Last but definitely not the least, the owner/server automatically added 18% of gratuity charge which is understandable since we are a group of 6. BUT when we ask the owner/server to reduce the amount of gratuity since we don’t think their service deserve 18% of tip cuz they messed up several times, the owner/server pretended to not understand English kept saying that bill included everything(of course) and he will show us something more detail. But guess what, he brought back a paid bill and left us with a pen and said nothing.
Great food, good portions, polite staff, and fast service. :)
GooD food nice place
I have enjoyed better food and service at the new location. After the move from Cache Street, the food quality has been compromised
I know that they were short on staff during my visit, and I can forgive that..
Even when fully staffed, the food quality has suffered..
So good! Excellent service, food and prices.
I would give it a four n half. Google still doesn't let us give half rating. Now the good part. Delicious shrimp in our green curry. Divine!. Spicy fried rice was brilliant. The ginger cider was mind blowing. Handmade in grand teton. We would loved to see the spiced dumpling a little bit more delectable. It felt like eating cardboard chicken. Zero flavour. They made us sit in a side room - dingy feeling. Will I return yes. Will I be careful with my apps yes. Go there for a nice taste of Thai.
Always great food!!!
Incredible food!!! If you like authentic Thai food then you must go here - I am from Australia and we have epic Thai food there and Thai Plate was some of the best I have had in the US.
Update - its two days later and we have just come back for more. Truly incredible food!!!
Great place, great service, and delicious food!
Absolutely loved the food! It was perfect as far as I’m concerned. We both wanted something light before our flight out. The place is small but quiet. Just a block off the main thoroughfare. Wife got the Pad See Ew I got the Thom Kha Gai with shrimp and the fresh rolls. Everything was perfectly spiced and tasted as good if not better than any other Thai place I’ve ever been to. Highly, highly recommend. And the service was friendly and quick too!
Really good food and service
Best thai food in Jackson. Not super cheap but the portions are large and delicous!
Very solid Thai food
We loved the tom yum gai and the pad kee mao. The chicken satay looked fried and not grilled and did not have much flavour even with the sauce but the dumplings were quite tasty. Their prices are quite reasonable for Jackson and i like that the spice level can be customized. The service was quite good and fast.
We had Spicy chicken fried and pineapple fried rice. Food was good.
Server very rude!
All things considered the food here hits the spot if you’re looking for Thai but it wasn’t anything particularly special. We got a green curry (yummy, very predictable) and a crispy duck pad kee mao (duck was great, but unfortunately they don’t have the flat wide noodles). Their spice level does get pretty authentically spicy though. Serving sizes are very generous and very quick and friendly service.
The grandfather at this establishment displayed a high level of rudeness. The food offerings are not particularly exceptional and is not good or authentic. Additionally, the atmosphere of the place appears to be disorderly.
It’s very small and family owned and the workers and owners are very friendly and understanding. The food was incredible and came out in a timely manner, and our server was back to check on us quite often. I’d recommend this place to anyone who likes Thai food.
Best Thai in Jackson.
Excellent Thai food. I have not experienced Thailand and thus cannot speak for the authenticity or accuracy. But it's good food. Attentive staff and fairly priced.
Had a wonderful lunch here! We were visiting the Jackson area and wanted a quick bite and I am so happy we got try to this restaurant while in town. I had a Tom Yum Goong soup and the Pad Kee Mao with chicken (Basil Chicken). My dad tried the Pad Thai. The soup had very large shrimp with fresh vegetables and herbs -- it was delicious. Both of the lunch entrees were very large portions, were fresh, and perfectly prepared. We are beyond satisfied and had plenty leftovers.
The massaman curry was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
Food was just okay, ordered 5/5 spice level and it was barely spicy
Food was tasty and the service was prompt. however the portion size is small especially in dishes like pad Thai noodles.
Wasn’t a very typical Thai restaurant vibe, it seemed it had more of a beach aesthetic which is totally okay but the food was kind of mediocre which was disappointing considering all the good reviews on how great the food is. Honestly it wasn’t the worst Thai food that I’ve had but it also wasn’t the best either. My Penang curry came out a little on the cold side and the cashew chicken didn’t taste like the authentic Thai spices that I am used to and I eat a lot of Thai food. I also have a high standard since going to Thailand and knowing what authentic Thai tastes like. And quite frankly the employees didn’t seem very welcoming. So I’d say this is a solid 50/50. I personally wouldn’t go back or suggest it to someone seeking good Thai food but I wouldn’t say it’s the worst either.
Was good..Just Small portions for the money you spend.
If the pad Thai seems bland, all the sauce may be at the bottom. The panang + pad Thai was yummy. Panang by itself was decent. The green curry left something to be desired. Price was good.
Absolutely love every bit of the food here. I ordered spicy fried rice and pad thai. It’s was so so good. Definitely check this plate out! Thanks for reminding me how good Thai food is!
Service was very quick. A less hectic and less expensive alternative to Teton Thai, where they automatically charge you an outrageous service fee for just take-out and take forever. This place is actually authentic. Recommend!
Mediocre restaurant! They are pricey for the quantity of food they serve. You need to order more than usual if you are hungry. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to those seeking a memorable dining experience or exceptional cuisine.
I went to this restaurant on July 3rd for dinner. Service was not good. We had three people and had waited for more than 10 min even after being seated without water. I ordered duck fried rice. Rice was not bad but duck was too dry. The worst thing was that we were not quite satisfied with the service they provided then just tipped 6$ but they charged us 10$ more as tips when I checked my credit card after two days later.
Food is not good and not authentic. We ordered a Pad Thai and Pineapple fried rice, and they are tasteless. Just don’t order these two dishes. Thai ice tea was decent though.
Go on a clear day and eat outside, you'll be delighted. Expect a bump in price, due to tourist town.
Delicious food. Pricey for the location. would return.
First visit week of 4th July so very busy. Not fancy. I’ve eaten Thai all over and this was one of the best we have ever had! Decent prices considering in Jackson Hole:
Excellent presentation, great service, generous portions
1/5 rating for poor service.
Food is decent.
Awsm taste!
The service was super slow. We were basically ignore the entire time. Never single water refill. The food was very bland and basic. The prices are higher than the quality deserves.
We were craving thai food from our home in Kansas City and this one definitely hit the spot! We want to come back again before we leave!
I would like to make a report on a sale my girlfriend has been buying in Thai plate for a year and lately as they have become accustomed that people do not ask for the receipt they change the price and even ask you for more today I bought to go and I They had said that the price was $98 when it was $90, so if they don't stop now, who knows how many people a day are doing the same thing, this type of situation should not be taken lightly
delicious
Great!!!
Friendly service. Great food. Keep your spicy to a 2 unless you like spicy food.
Stopped by this place to get dinner after a tiresome hiking day at Yellowstone & realized this is exactly what we needed!
Spicy fried rice is excellent, flavorful & easy to chew. Ordered green curry with 3 spice level but felt it was still a bit on the milder side.
Thai tea was just fine, the tofu soup was really good!
Tom Kha Gai soup was amazing And Chicken, fried rice was good also.
This place is a fabulous restaurant! Great food and super friendly staff
This place fills up fast. The curry wasn't that good but the Pad Thai was definitely delicious. Service is fast. Not a fancy spot but good.
Wouldn’t recommend this one despite other high reviews.
Went there after a long day hiking. We were starving and very looking forward to the food due to the high ratings.
However, I hate to say the food here is not that great. I live in New York and my fiend is from Singapore, we were quite disappointed.
I ordered massaman curry. There’s only potato, onion and shrimps in it. Nothing else. And the curry felt like it’s cooked from packets from supermarkets and just mixed with the potato. The potato didn’t even have the taste of the curry.
We also ordered Tom Yum Kung and the spice in it tasted like added rather than boiled.
Besides this, the price is on par with the ones in New York City. I would not recommend this.
Best Tom Yum and Pad Thai we have ever had!!! Yum!
Didn’t taste like Thai cuisine
The bad:
- horribly spicy fried rice but sweet/ almost no spice curry with same spice levels ordered
- chicken satey was just fried pieces of chicken strips
- didn’t provide paper towels or offered table sauces
- we asked for less tofu in a soup didn’t follow the instructions
The good:
- Tom Kha Gai was tasty
The food was really good.
