We went to the consignment shop across the street today and noticed this restaurant on the way in. Once done shopping, we decided to give it a try.
We ordered 3 appetizers - chicken satay, fresh veggie spring rolls and steamed dumplings. The sauces that were served with each were so very good, especially the peanut sauce. prices across the board are very reasonable too.
The service was very prompt and our waitress was very pleasant. We will definitely be going back.
Updated review:
Same tiny diner has an Updated appearance: curtains on the windows, fresh paint. We don't come for the atmosphere, though- we come for the food. Their Thai salad with peanut dressing is wonderful. My go to has been the broccoli chicken mushroom with oyster sauce, but my daughter ordered the red curry and it was outstanding (I'll get that next time! ) We did have to wait a long time for our dine in food to be served but everything was freshly made to order. They still have a busy take out business.
6 yrs ago: Fresh, authentic and delicious. The owner and everyone involved are all from Thailand. What this tiny little diner lacks in Ambiance is more than made up by the outstanding food quality and taste and the employees and owners. We have been coming here for years and bring new people each time :-). We have never been disappointed.
Possibly the best fried rice East of the Mississippi. Each ingredient was fresh and combined for a perfect flavor profile, but individually, could still taste each ingredient. Atmosphere very clean and service prompt. Egg roll took a little bit only because they were changing the fryer oil which is appreciated.
Lots of really good vegan options and vegetarian options. Nice clean, pleasant atmosphere. Some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The spring rolls were absolutely amazing. Vegetables were really fresh and perfectly cooked. Our server was very polite and attentive.
Absolutely stunning food, fresh, crisp, delicious and filling! Seriously can’t praise this place enough everything I’ve had has been so beyond delicious, and I also want to note that the owners are the loveliest people I’ve ever met. So warm, friendly, generous, and I felt like family every time I am in !! THANK YOU so much for bringing so much joy to my life when I eat here ! Love you guys !!

Nice Thai restaurant in downtown Walworth. The Pad See Ewe and Chicken Satay are authentic and are delicious. The eggrolls' are light and also delicious. If ever we are in the area we will certainly drop in for a meal.

Delicious Thai food, my go-to place. This family restaurant aims to please. The food is consistently above average.
Wonton soup has a clear broth with 3 fresh wontons. The Lad Na had a rich gravy broth and the wide noodles were infused with flavor. Their thai chili paste is the perfect sweet-hot you crave. I've had their pad thai before and will continue to work my way through the menu.
I'm a local, I've tried two sisters Thai several times over the years. Each experience has been inconsistent. The most recent experience unfortunately will be my last. The food is simply bland. Just ok and feels more along the lines of Chinese cuisine that is attempting to be Thai. I ordered veggie fried rice, the rice was severely overcooked, it was the equivalent of rice porridge with vegetables. I took it to go, I wasn't about to go back and complain. I want this place to survive as the food options around here are limited. However, the price of the dish was not worth what I received. Sorry Two Sisters, I won't be returning. Please refine your process to include consistency and elevate the flavor. Guess I'll be going to Sabi Sabi for Thai, its closer. The downside to Sabi Sabi, it's always crowded.
Food was 45 minutes late from pickup time. The place has 0 atmosphere

First time to sisters after several recommendations. Did a take out for panang chicken and fresh spring rolls. DELICIOUS!!
Went on a lazy Monday afternoon. The service was prompt and quick. The food good and delicious, like you expect Thai food to be!
Loved the food and the service was good. Got recommended this place like 10 years ago but didn't end up going till recently and wish I had given it a try sooner.
Everything is very fresh and when we ordered the appetizer like sampler(they call it special) they were out of something but replaced it something else. Downside of the freshness is the food does take a bit to get out and it's a small place. There was only one front of house of staff a Friday afternoon/evening. This isn't an attack just showing the size of the place.
We both left happy and full(but not like sick feeling again because it's good ingredients).
Personally feel the location doesn't reflect the food well (it's not dirty just like the building they're in is older and I think it used to be a hotel kitchen). So don't let it stop you from giving it a shot.
Side note the girlfriend like the Thai beer said it was similar to carona which isn't my jam so don't have a big opinion on.
Awesome Thai food, especially for a relatively rural area of the Midwest. Everything I have tried here has been too notch. My personal favorite is the green curry, which is vegetarian, which is helpful! You obviously can add additional protein if you need to, for an up charge. The food is the best part of this place, with the service being second. The service is quite good but the food is ultimately what keeps myself and others coming back regularly. I recommend pairing your meal with the traditional Thai beer they carry. 8.5/10 stars, in my opinion!
P.S. (If you have a standard Midwestern palette, for the love of god, and the safety of your stomach, don’t be a hero, stay with the “spice level” at 3 or lower.)
They are doing Thai food correct! So happy to get authentic Thai food close to home. And, they never screw it up:)
Highly recommend
Pad Thai was good.
Tom Yum Ka was good.
Excellent Thai food. Curry is my liymus and the red curry was wonderful. Staff was great. It's a basic dive restaurant but clean.
A gem in a small town I really enjoy the spring rolls, egg rolls and pad Thai.
Good food. Always fresh. We most always order take out
Sometimes we dine in. The atmosphere is simple but tidy and clean. The service was good and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu choices. Our guests for dinner who are world wide travelers, say "this is some of the best Thai food they ever had." I just like the food it's delicious and fresh.
Delicious and fast just more expensive than a like
Excellent food and the owner is very friendly. Would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try
A small functional spot with great service and fantastic food including spring rolls and stemmed dumplings. Staff willing to make food as hot(heat) as you like It was fun and tastey.
Let me say upfront: I don't like Tai food. Howver, my group gobbled it down. Egg rolls were terrific.
The inside of Two Sisters is quaint, clean and comfortable. Servers are charming. It's an odd location, around the corner from Sammy's. The signage is not obvious.
I'd order again.

They charge weird additional things to your check. Good food but not going back.
We are never disappointed eating here! Truly incredible and consistently delicious food.
Way over priced for quality and atmosphere... nickel and dimed..
Great fresh tasting food, highly recommend. One of the best we ever had! Wish it was closer to us.
Excellent, genuine, freshly prepared Thai dishes. We had the pleasure of finding Two Sisters Thai after completing a 5+ mile Lake Geneva shore trail walk that built our hunger. Friendly service from 1 sister while Mom cooked the food. Don't be fooled by the stark interior and small entryway. This is a great place to eat.
Nice little thai restaurant tucked away in Walworth. Great food!
First time trying this place, I had the tai red curry, hot, and it was by far the best tai curry I've ever had! Great flavor also the portion size is huge!! Highly recommend!
Small restaurant gave the feeling of a cozy venue. Food was not very authentic or tasty. Disappointed. Take out order came piling out while we waited for our 2 meals in an empty restaurant. Slow service.
Amazing food!
Most delicious Thai food! I wish I lived closer. I would eat it often. The pad see ew had a perfect flavor and the mee krob and egg rolls were yummy! The staff was quick and friendly with my kids. Check it out!
Adorable outdoor seating, phenomenal food, great prices!
Very friendly staff and excellent service. The food is authentic and very delicious. Fried rice is my favorite to order most of the time. But everything is good.
Sadly like many restaurants, this place has gone down hill. Entrees are not as tasty as in the past. Tonight's visit was disappointing.
Outstanding food. You won't be mad at this place!!!! Will be back again for sure. The dish my husband had was something with Salmon and he said it was the best salmon he's ever had (he's had a lot of Salmon cooked different ways).😆
This is, by far, the best Thai food we've had since we moved up here!
Quick update. The last few times I've been to the Two Sisters, to pick up a to-go order, I've been tip shamed. I left a couple of dollars and the girl behind the counter loudly proclaimed; "oh, this is my tip?"
I won't go into the current politics around tipping. My position is, if I'm picking up a to-go order, there is no reason to tip at all.
It will be quite some time before I order from them again
This is definitely Thai food aimed at Wisconsinites - no spice and overly sweet. It's a little pricey for a small town like Walworth, and the portion size doesn't make up for the price. I wasn't impressed with my garlic pepper chicken as I could barely taste any garlic, and I couldn't find any pepper to speak of.
The food is simply fantastic, reasonably priced, a go to place for our family!
Their Thai iced tea is so tasty. Recommend their tum yum, Tom Kha soups. Great spring roll. Kids love their egg rolls too. Their chicken salad is very good and so is papaya salad , but the heat on it can be much.
Our go to dishes pad se-ew, red curry, and pad kha pow.
When in season, try the mango sticky rice
We love all their flavors. Just well done and great food.
Excellent, authentic Thai. Highly recommend.
Been going there for years. It's always been great. Our most recent meal was up and down. The up,; spring rolls, spicy shrimp soup, red curry and mango sticky rice. The downs, dim sum (no flavor), vegetables with oyster sauce (no flavor) , pad thai (no flavor, no sauce just oil) and Pad See Ew (also bland). Every dish used to be bursting with flavor. Maybe we caught it on an off night.
I liked my food, but my wife didn't like hers. The waitress bad mouthed some of the food and talked about how expensive some of the extras were. That was a little weird.
The food was really good. We had veggie roll and shrimp appetizers which were crisp and flavourful. The flat noodles dishes and Thai red curry was delicious. The spice level was discussed with us before hand which was much appreciated as the kids have low spice tolerance. The only thing I felt could have been better were the tapioca pearl juices. The watermelon was really light in flavor and sweetness. Strawberry was average too..in all it was a good meal and good service.
I love their red curry and tom ka khai always delicious. Their rhai spring rolls are yummy with their sweet sour sauce.
Two Sister Thai has been a family takeout staple for years. So happy to have and support a local restaurant with great food.
Took take out. Asked for medium heat in pad Thai. Which is basic. Not only was there no flavor of pad thai. It was basic hot oil with no flavor, hot only so much that for over 1 hour my mouth just burned. Red curry was better but the point of food is to enjoy and nourish this did not.
If you live anywhere near Walworth, and enjoy Thai food, or just want to try it, STOP BY TWO SISTERS! Their food is amazing, and they have a large variety of dishes available. From more traditional cuisine like Pad Thai or Pad See Ewe (my personal favorite), they also have soups, egg rolls, and drinks. Their price is a little higher, but it's well worth it. Smaller sit-down area, and they're pretty popular during lunch times.
OMG their food is so delicious! And the service is phenomenal. The lady who was our server went above & beyond to welcome us to her restaurant & make us feel comfortable. I haven't received this good of service even in some five star restaurants. There isn't really much ambience inside. It's very much a hole in the wall. Very plain seating & nothing fancy as far as decorations, & no music. I guess that's kind of expected in such a small town. But the food is so darned good it doesn't matter. A little pricey but honestly worth it.
5 STARS from me! ☆☆☆☆☆
Great Thai food!
Had the lunch Pad Thai chicken special - Sad to day, it was just okay.. the chicken was over cooked. I really wanted it to be good because we live in Harvard— oh well..
The food is so good! I love the chicken pad thai and the spicy soups they have! great place to go out for lunch or get take out from!
Absolutely stunning food, fresh, crisp, delicious and filling! Seriously can’t praise this place enough everything I’ve had has been so beyond delicious, and I also want to note that the owners are the loveliest people I’ve ever met. Wow what a great little find. Was craving Thai and we stumbled into this gem. The Green Curry was first rate and the Pad Thai was awesome.
Delicious!!! Excellent Thai food in Walworth!! Green curry with shrimp was so good! The sticky rice with mango dessert is a Must! Cute place that is busy and the spring rolls off the appetizers list is also a must - Maria was a great server as well, very informative on the items and suggestions!! We’ll be back!
Good food
good service
Love #8 chicken satay
Tom yum koong
Love papaya salad and Ka num jeb
Got the pineapple fried rice and it was decent. My boyfriend got massaman curry and he said it was decent too
Authentic and fabulous. We are so happy to have this cuisine in the area. Thank you Gib and Two Sister.
Trying to understand the good reviews. Bland and disappointing. Red Curry, very close to the color of...I won't even say. Just know it wasn't very appetizing. Never seen or tasted Thai food like this. And Thai is my absolute favorite food. Will not return...ever.
Excellent food and service!
Excellent food at good prices. 5 star's.
This place is a little hidden gem. The picture I took of the entrance doesn't do the location justice ; it's super cute when you walk up with twinkling lights and little plants. Inside is very casual but cozy and the woman who seated me was also the woman who took my order, made my food, and cashed me out! Where was the other sister, I don't know ! She was super sweet and charming. The food was hard core authentic Thai . I had one of the lunch specials which also come with a soup (you can choose from 3 different kinds of soup) I had something called Tom kai , which was a slightly spicy tomato and coconut milk based soup with mushrooms and chicken and cliantro.Oh wow was it amazing . It just happened to be a few degrees above zero outside that day and did that soup ever hit the spot. I followed it up with another lunch special; pad Thai. This pad Thai had chicken ,egg, tofu AND peanut. If you are familiar with ordering pad Thai of course you know that most places only offer you a choice of one! This lady knows what she is doing and her recipes offer true authentic Thai flavors.I really would have liked to stay and order a whole bunch of other things that looked absolutely amazing but I was just too full! I think you should check this place out when you are in the mood for classic Thai cuisine and I hope you have a great experience like I did.
The best food for 30 miles. Seriously try this Thai food.
Love this place
Delicious! First timer tonight and it will not be last! Thank you, Nancy!
Always enjoy getting Thai at 2 Sisters. Great flavor, lots of food for the price.
Found this spot on google, thought I would give it a try. Never again. Server did not listen to my order correctly, gave me someone elses food, did not say sorry or anything. I asked questions about some menu items due to my allergies and she gave quite a lot of attitude and did not seem caring at all. She rolled her eyes at my girlfriend when she was asking questions regarding ingredients. She threw down some tamarid sauce at us for us to look at and was just extremly rude. She quickly changed her tone when we said we would leave and just pay for the drinks since what we were ordering was an inconvenience.
I stopped in for lunch and was extremely surprised at how much the food exceeded my expectations. Everything was extremely fresh and perfect in every way. Tom yum soup is hands down the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t be happier to find this place!
Great food
Both dishes we got didn't have any flavor and very little sauce/curry. I've eaten Thai food 100s of times and this is top 3 for worst I've ever had. The only reason for the 2 stars was the chicken wings were great, dry rub with a little heat with a hint of sweet.
Great food! Nice and helpful service!
Love Thai food. It was very good and the service was excellent. I will be back soon! Love Pa Nang Chicken Curry.
Delicious food and super good service. It’s a small restaurant but very cozy and kid friendly. Everything we ordered came fast and delicious.
Ate in the dining room.. Food is good and service was snappy. Place was empty but a steady stream of carry out was keeping them solvent. My food was as ordered, 4 of 5 on the heat. My girlfriend ordered 5 heat and thought it could be hotter. Still enjoyed the food.
Calamari was excellent
My mom and I visited for lunch today and the food is amazing! We had the red and green curry lunches with soup. You can tell they put a lot of care into making their food and the flavors are incredible! Will definitely come back. A hidden gem
Best Thai food join hands down. Truly authentic and everything taste delicious. Spicy Thai Wings, Wong-ton soup, and their curry shrimp are my favorites!!
Great food and authentic tasting. Fantastic eggrolls. Definitely going back again. Not your typical thai place.
Take out only. Called in my order, and it was ready in 20 minutes. Ordered 2 appetizers (calamari and chicken satay), 2 main dishes (noodles) and 2 desserts (Thai custard). The food is very tasty.
Still love this place SO MUCH!! Any time I'm in Wisconsin I try to force my travels to pass near Walworth so I can have this food. Warms my soul.
Wow amazing food! Love the curry! Very nice ladies
Had a bunch of Tom Yum Soup in our day, and this was the best. So flavorful. Pad Thai was wonderful as well.
Great place!
Fantastic food with so much flavor ! Great portions, prices & people. Very impressed !
Having eaten Thai around the world, this small takeout is the best ever. We took red Thai curry, Tom Yum soup, veg fried rice with eggs.
I drove from lake Geneva to pick this up in a rainy and windy day. I was glad i did.
Hit or miss (good or amazing) but its never bad
Got normal pad thai and they gave me extra spicy and was not able to eat it
Got take out. Love having great Thai food in Walworth.
Excellent food and excellent customer service
Ordered the spring rolls. Just average. Had the Wonton soup what a disappointment!!! No flavor at all. Wontons were very soft. Got back to my hotel and there was no spoon. Didn’t know I had to ask for one.
Will never go there again!!!!!
We drove 35 minutes to experience two Sisters Thai. We ordered the shrimp coconut curry. Which was served in a small souffle dish and skip this one... They used sweet chunked sweet potato as a filler. Ridiculous! Even for a small town it was very disappointing. The inflated price did not reflect the quality or content of the food. I would not recommend it. The owner( I'm assuming) was very argumentative and insistent that it was a very generous portion. A souffle dish approximately 3- 4 oz... Tisk tisk tisk
Two Sisters Thai is phenomenal! I had the pleasure of stopping in to place a quick to go order of my favorite soup of all time, their Tom Ka Kai and while I waited I enjoyed conversation with Gib and she made me a beautiful cup of hot jasmine tea. I was so blessed by this moment she took of her time to make me feel welcomed and of course the tea and soup were amazing as always. Thank you so much, Two Sisters Thai and to Gib for your kindness! :)
food is good but portions are small, especially for the price. Not inexpensive!
Good food, friendly staff.
Always good food and friendly servers
Awesome Thai!!!
Best Thai food in all of Wisconsin. So fresh! So good. I would travel many miles just to come to Two Sisters!
I love everything here this place is great friendly staff, food very good. we would recommend
I love this place. Very nice family owed establishment. They have a good lunch special. I personally like the green curry with chicken. The Thai custard is an excellent desert choice.
I generally love Asian cuisine but for me Thai is a bit different. Started with vegetable egg rolls which were quite greasy. Then I had the spicy chicken soup which was pretty good. For my entree I had pad garlic pepper chicken which I felt was decent but nothing to write home about. Not a bad experience but doubt I’d come back.
Hidden Gem!
Great place. Excellent food at fair price. Friendly service.
Amazing food. If you have never had Thai Food I recommend trying Pad See Ewe (sweet noodle dish) or Pad Thai. Very nice people. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is dinner prices are high and on lunch if you are in a time crunch I would call ahead. They get very busy.
Fantastic Thai food with well priced lunch specials. Love the egg rolls here.
Delicious food and fast service. Everything is freshly prepared.
Very good, would have gotten five stars if the portions were bigger
Friendly place. Did not eat food but was picking up an item they were donating to a good cause
Excellent food everytime, friendly staff, fast service
Always great food!!
Super friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely will be coming back
4 people ordered all enjoyed
SO GOOD! First of all it's been so long since I've been able to find Mee Krob and they HAVE it here and its so yummy here! The Thom Ka Kai (coconut soup w chicken) was probably the best we've ever had! The BROTH! Wow! We also got pad see ew and red curry with Shrimp (we asked to add pineapple) and everything we had was divine! We had to travel 9 miles from Lake Geneva to get here, but this will be our go-to from now on when we are in the area!
Good food had red curry seafood friendly service
Great
Loved the Chicken Satay with peanut sauce and the Pad Thai. Excellent authentic Thai Food!!
Would have given a 5 star and would have spent more money on food but our good server left and the replacement was.... well not good.
Food was great. Would love to try again
The best Thai food I have ever had!
Great flavor! Very fresh and authentic. Friendly people too!
Really good food! I had a taste for the Chicken Pad Thai! Gib is very nice.
Great little gem here. The spring rolls tasted pretty fresh, and the soup and noodles are flavorful but not too salty.
Very yummy and fresh home style thai food. You simply must try it.
