Wanted to try a new place and found this one. Didn't realize it had such a great menu and sushi. Very fast however the speed did not take away from the quality of the food. They gave us complimentary crab Rangoon which were honestly the best I've ever had. We ordered chicken lo mein, lily roll, smoked salmon roll, and two egg rolls. The egg rolls were okay I probably won't get again. However the lo mein was phenomenal, you could tell it was cooked in a wok. The sushi was very good. Definitely am excited to come back and try other things.

The server was very friendly and low key hilarious. The food was also really good although I do not recommend pad Thai at the spiciest level because only a lunatic would do that to themselves. For good meal with good service here is the place especially if you like Thai/Cambodian food

This is our go-to place for a great sushi roll in Plover. My favorite thing there is the shrimp Thai curry, if you like curry you gotta try it. The kimchi soup, beef lo mein, and spring rolls are also great.

I ordered a spring roll and a Kung Pao chicken to go.
Spring roll came out as a clump of lettuce spilling out from a broken rice paper. What was supposed to be a kung pao chicken was (I think) a chicken broccoli. I think - because those sorry, mushy pieces of green something had to be in a re-heater for days. An airport Chinese food is fresher! Never again!

I need to restrict gluten from my diet, and my family was missing Chinese food. We decided to give them a try, and I resigned myself to being stuck with sushi or sashimi and rice. They were very knowledgeable in what was able to be substituted and I ended up having General Tao chicken which has been my favorite for years! They used non-breaded chicken, and they provided gluten-free soy sauce. Not only was I just THRILLED that they went above and beyond to accommodate, but the food was delicious too. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, it's all-around a good place to eat.

Went for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! The teriyaki tofu and eel roll were amazing and I could not get enough of the seaweed salad. The people who work there are incredibly nice. Can't wait until I am in the area again.

Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the chicken low mein. It has a smokey flavor to it; that you don't normally find in Chinese food. Also, the crab ragoons are fire. The egg drop soup was a little sweet, but nothing a little soy sauce and chili oil can't fix. Overall, awesome. Will be returning to try more of the menu.

My fiance and I stopped in today for lunch and we loved it! It was an all around awesome experience. The server was phenomenal. The food was delicious. Best crab Rangoon probably ever. Would recommend. We will one hundred percent be back!!

The customer service was okay, just order drinks and food together next time, it's easier for the staff and dont have wait for them to come back. Pad Thai was very good as well

Came back again today and it was exceptional. Place is legit. They accommodate you for your spice tolerance, whether it's zero or a lot. I asked for spicy and they give you spicy. My mouth burns so good right now.

Prices were more than reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place is a great. Definitely gonna come back to try their other options.

Nice atmosphere, service is what you would expect from a standard restaurant, however when the food came out, things changed the chicken was way overcooked, dry some parts had more breading than chicken, when my viper roll came out it looked fantastic, the ele was almost as big as the roll but the wrap that they used was inedible. When they asked about it they asked if I wanted to switch it out with anything but also told me that all their sushi is like that and that sushi is supposed to be like that. No compensation was made for my horrible experience, This really was a waste of $40. Consider yourself warned.

First time here& never coming back. I order general tso and sadly it did not taste one bit like general tso. Chicken taste old, no crisp at all. Flavor gone. Honestly don’t even know what you would call that sauce. Not only that but there was so much sauce… I ask waiter to take it back. Hopefully they can work on their food

We’ve had takeout for Samoeun’s for years, but my experience with pickup today was so nice that I wanted to leave a review. The packaging and care that went into it is something I haven’t seen in a while. Very neatly packed, was still hot when I got home. And when I was leaving the restaurant, the man who gave me my order threw a handful of candy into the bag! Of course, the food is good as ever. Chicken wasn’t dry, pulled apart easily, and the rice was perfect. Surprised with how good of a deal the lunch specials are. Always love stopping by when I’m back in town. 💙

Used to love this place. Recently ordered delivery twice. Both times sushi not the usual. Nasty, drowned in sauce and mayo instead of clean with roe like it used to be. Didn't get rice. Didn't get dipping sauce for shrimp tempura ordered. Waited for sauces and rice to be delivered while rest went cold. F'ing onion rings under my shrimp! More onion rings than shrimp! Totally disappointing!
Won't be ordering again until you have what you used to make. So disappointing. Go back to your roots! Used to be exceptional!

Be careful of the spice level you choose. Hot somewhere else is medium here, and there are 6 or 7 levels hotter than that!

To be honest, I’m not a fan of this type of food but was taken here as a gift. Compared to China Wok and Tokyo Steak House, which I would give 5’s, I’d say the rating of 2 is appropriate.

The tempura shrimp was very soggy. The edamame salad was very tough and stringy, sharp even - peas couldn’t be chewed.

The crab rangoon was very tasty but had very very little crab, cream cheese and that area was very soggy too.

On the plus side - food was ready very quickly.

This is the best place to get Asian food in the area.

Best general Chicken I have ever had. Seriously so good that I am willing to drive an hour to go get it from my house. Have no idea about their sushi but my girlfriend had sesame seed chicken and that was delicious too. Very fresh.

Husband and I were in town for a baby shower. We drove around plover and happened to find this spot and opted to try it instead the standard t bell. Wow! Glad we stopped in. We shared several different dishes, including salmon rolls, tempura, and pad Thai. Everything was so delicious. Staff was friendly. Place was cute. It’s clean and smells so good as soon as you walk in the door. We will definitely be stopping in next time we’re in town with my aunt and uncle who live down the street and have never eaten here. I will be dreaming about samoeun’s happy wok until we meet again.

You'll want to pass on this place. We used to love Samoeuns. It was the best place in town. We have eaten here dozens of times. The food used to be so delicious and fresh. However, the last three, maybe four times, including today, have been not great. We wont be back. The recipes or cooks or something have changed. The people are nice but the food is no longer fresh and the taste is very unfortunate. We tossed out $50 of food. Its a shame.

Went out for Valentine’s Day. Upon arrival, the parking lot and restaurant was pretty full! We were there under ten minutes and got ALL of our food!! 10/10 service and food, as always!! We were so shocked how fast it came out considering the crowd!

All around pretty good sushi. Having just come off of being in Hawai’i a few weeks ago, I admit I had lower expectations but the sushi was actually good and the chicken wings were good as well. Very crispy skin. The drum sticks were so big they could have used another couple minutes to break down. Would definitely return when I’m in town for work.

I'm a heat junkie, and I came here for the spicy curry. It did not disappoint. My sinuses have never been so clear. But, it was an extremely flavorful heat, not the just hot for hot's sake. And don't worry, if you don't enjoy the burn, they also have no spice levels. 😉

So we were just coming thru town and Thai food sounded great. This place will not disappoint. The food was amazing and we had food on the table 10-15 minutes after we ordered. It's an hour from home but we will be coming here for date night.

I'd say you can skip this place. We took one for the team. Lunch special Beef w/ Brocolli & General Taos Chicken were swimming in sauce. An unflattering sauce that is nothing like I'd ever had. Very Thick. Hardly any brocolli. GT was soggy. Egg Roll was crispy on the Inside and mushy like mashed potatoes Inside. Spicy Tuna Roll was just sliced tuna (not mixed) with a little spicy mayo on top. We left with a table full of food.

I frequently order delivery and they never disappoint! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. If I had to offer a suggestion, it’d be to add more filling in the crab rangoons.

Now it's just bland and ordinary.

This place was meh. We got 5 different entrees and it was a let down. The sweet and sour pork doesn't have breading like normal. It's just in a sauce with pineapple. The sesame chicken was salty and not that great. The Orange chicken is very orangy. The General Tso chicken did not have much too it and the sauce didn't taste like the typical stuff. Grab ragoons didn't have much filling. The chicken chow mein had no flavor to the dish and the chicken was chalky and dry.

Stumbled upon this place one night when I was taking my oldest daughter out to dinner. The place we were going was closed so we Googled around and found Samoeun's, decided to give it a shot. We just got sushi and some drinks but the service was good and the server was good too.

Fast forward to 9/7 (we've been to this restaurant 2 times - keep that in mind) and it was my youngest daughters birthday. She wanted sushi and wanted to go to Samoeun's. We all went as a family and just had a candle we were sticking in her sushi for her birthday - nothing extravagant (her party is upcoming). Anyways we stick the candle in and light it and all the sudden the server and the owner are over at the table singing happy birthday with us, THEN the owner went and got a cake and bought it over so my daughter could have some cake too! Totally unexpected and super awesome of them to do that!

Next thing we know my daughter is in the back with the owner chatting it up with her like they are lifelong friends! (Remember this is our 3rd ever visit here)

Thanks for the hospitality, good food and good service - love establishments that do what they can to make everyone's experience a great one! We will definitely be back!

It's been 10 months, I finally found this great Chinese restaurant! The staff was so friendly, informative, and the chicken fried rice, shrimp chop suey, and appetizers were excellent in flavor, and portions. We are 40 miles away, but when we go to Menards, we definitely will order again!

Amazing! I'd always see them while looking through doordash, and only today gone in person and I can say so confidently that the best Lo-Mein I've ever had was from here. And don't even get me started on the Thai curry, everything was so good. Especially the service!

Went to Happy Wok for lunch today. For some reason, we forget about this place. That was definitely a mistake! We had sesame chicken and orange chicken and it was soooooo good. The serving size is more than we could eat so we have some leftover. Pricing is good and on top of all that the people are very friendly. Don't be like us, don't forget about Happy Wok, stop in for a great meal with friendly good service.
