Food is always delicious and authentic here. My favorite is the sesame chicken and the noodle dishes. I like spicy food, but their spice level is not to be messed with. The restaurant is small but it's not too bad. Service could be better. Once I receive all my food, I don't see my server until I finish and pay.

Update December 2024: food is still good but leaves me with a terrible stomach ache the next day. EVERY TIME!

I usually order green curry and Tom Kha soup with shrimp when trying a new place so I can compare each restaurant using their take on these Thai classics. The atmosphere is modest, but very clean. The young man at the counter was very friendly. The prices are very reasonable as well. My food arrived quickly and I ate it on site. My soup arrived first. It was pretty good, but not the best I've had. My curry arrived shortly after. It, too, was pretty good, but not the best. I had plenty of leftovers for another meal.

Visiting from STL for business and decided to stop into this little gem. The restaurant has been there a long time so don’t expect modern decor but more of a old school small business that has been there a few decades. That being said the restaurant is VERY clean. We started with their crab wontons. I was pleasantly surprised with a pineapple sauce for the dip instead of the usual bottled sweet n sour sauce you get other places that is way to sweet. The pineapple dipping sauce had a nice balance of flavor and was not too sweet which allowed the wonton to really shine. Their wontons were creamy and crunchy. Great balance. We ordered the Tom Kha Shrimp soup. My husband loved it. Personally I like mine to be more coconut forward and a tad sweeter. I would have also enjoyed a bit more punch of spices. For an entree we had the Pad Pak with Shrimp. It was EXCELLENT. The dish may not look fancy but the flavors were exactly what I would expect a home cooked meal to taste like in this chef’s house. The service was excellent. Kind and friendly man who runs the place. Definitely a restaurant we would visit again. Thank you so much for wonderful meal and smiling service.

The fish lad was awesome!! Great flavors and the extra crispiness really adds to the taste and texture. I would totally recommend this if you're in mid for it. The Hmong sausage was great as well. I would totally recommend this if you're in the area and looking for great tasting authentic Asian cuisine. Flavor explosions galore!

Overall I give it 4/5. It would have been 5/5 but the chicken wings were too burnt for my taste. I ordered the peanut curry with beef and it was delicious. At first look I thought it was going to be weak but once I started eating I was satisfied with the flavor 😋. My only other complaint is that they didn't answer the phone so I couldn't do a phone order ahead of time and there's an $11 minimum when using credit/debit cards. I'll be back to try other dishes.

This is my first review in a long time. My dad and i used to try new places to eat and after the meal, write a Google review. This ended when he passed. My mom and i have decided to resume the tradition of writing reviews. This was my first time trying Thai Bangkok. I had driven past it many times, always wanted to try it. Placing the order was easy and it was ready when I got there. I had Red Curry seafood. It was very tasty but could have had more seafood. Mom had a chicken noodle dish that was very good. We will definitely order again.

I was a regular at their 92nd St location until it closed a few years ago. Recently, work brought me to the area, and I ended up at this location by chance. I was pleasantly surprised by the overhaul they've made here.

The food remains outstanding, easily placing this spot among the top three in Southeast Wisconsin.

I spoke briefly with the staff and learned that the restaurant is under new ownership. Their enthusiasm and dedication are clear, and I wish them success.

I ordered my all-time favorite, the panang curry, and it was fantastic—just as good, maybe better, than I remembered.

Wife and I were recommended this restaurant. The place is small, but just fine - like an old school mom-and-pop diner atmosphere. Service was very quick and attentive. The food was decent, and certainly gave you enough, but they put more towards pure heat than the flavor of the ingredients (my wife had mild while I had medium). We'd go again the next time we're in that area.

Your pad Thai is the best pad Thai. I compare all other pad thais to yours and nobody does it better. I miss your 92nd st location so much.

Don't let the outside turn you away. What a find! Had a magnificent lunch. Great portion size and food was fresh. Flavors and heat were above our expectations.

The food was really good here! We got the crispy duck and curry noodles. Both entrees came with a cup of hot and sour soup. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. The dining area was a little small. If we lived closer, we would probably eat here all the time.

It’s so upsetting that they don’t make you aware that they have a lunch portion which is the default option and you have to specify that you want a dinner option. They don’t ask you whether you would prefer one over the other and won’t accommodate if you ask can it be switched to a dinner portion and pay the difference. Won’t come back

I ordered out and had the chicken pad thai, crab wonton, and Thai iced tea. All three were absolutely delicious and authentic.
I do reccomend calling ahead as it took around half an hour to prepare my food. The seating area is small and outdated, so don't expect a lot in that department. But if you're there for the food, you'll leave happy.

My wife had Green Curry. Saice was thick like wallpaper paste. The flavor was not good. We eat green curry all the time, this was not good. Chicken was battered (??) and very salty. I had Pad Thai. It was floating in sauce like Pho. Same breaded chicken that was salty

We are very disappointed at this restaurant as we always liked it but we ordered tonight 04/14/23 and will not be ordering in the near future. We ordered shrimp fried rice which is priced at $12.75, chicken pad thai priced at $11.75 and vegetable soup priced at $5.50. While my pad thai had more meat than my husband's shrimp fried rice, it was not that much more. It was mostly rice and noodles for our entrees. To make matters worse, the "vegetable" soup had only onions and celery in broth!! ( look at attached photo) it was unfortunate we didn't look at the entrées and soup when we picked up the order or we would told them that was not acceptable especially spending a little over $30.00. We gave it a 1 star because there wasn't a zero.

I am lucky enough to work just a few minutes from this location, and so I get to stop by for lunch once a week and try out one of the many fantastic menu items.

There are over 50 choices which seemed intimidating to me at first but I recommend starting with 37 or 39 or really anything that catches your eye- they are all very good.

The food is great, the service is friendly, and for me the location is very convenient so its a 5/5 in my book.

I recommend going before the lunch rush, this place is popular and many people also call in for pickup and there can sometimes be a line.

Always melting the styrofoam with curries. They are delicious (fried rice and pa nang curry are their best, for my taste) but you're eating plastic when they melt the styrofoam. I've complained at least 5 times. If you order dinner portion and ask they will put it in a plastic container that doesn't melt but you shouldn't have to ask to not be poisonous.

The older man has terrible customer service. I have been ordering lunch here for myself and co workers going on three years now. We always have ordered level 2 spice (medium). Today the older man took our order instead of the normal woman. When I got back to the office, we noticed that they were all made Xtra hot, barely edible. One co worker threw their meal away after a couple bites. I called and they said they would fix if I brought the food back. When I got got there after the drive they looked at what I brought and only remade the ones that brought back. They would not remake the lunch that was thrown away. They said I would need to pay for the additional to be remade. He also said there was little to no difference between a medium and an xtra hot spice level. I find it rediculous that you cant correct your full mistake and try to place the blame on a customer that has been ordering thousands of dollars worth of food from you over the last 3 years. I have never had these issues when ordering with the nice woman that works at the counter. Its really disappointing to receive this service after being a loyal customer.

We love Thai Bangkok. Drunken noodles are my absolute favorite. We also love the beef lad na, fried rice, curry rice, egg rolls, basically everything we've had there so far. One word of warning for those who like spicy food but not melt-your-face-off spicy. These guys aren't like others, where their spice levels are pretend. Medium is hot so start low and ask for the spice factor on the side if you want to go up from there.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The food is amazing and they aren't scared of spice.

Best Thai in the city, I say that with some passion as I have tried most of the Thai restaurants in Milwaukee and this hidden gem has the best and most authentic food.
My wife and I found it 20+ years ago, the spotless clean kitchen impressed us and the delicious food hooked us. The owners are kind and hard working family run, they serve generous portions of deliciousness.
Try them and I guarantee you too will become a regular. I love all their curries!

I have been a regular at this place for 4+ years, and my girlfriend has been for 7+ years, would never go anywhere else for great thai food, I recommend the number 37 (Pad Goe See Mi) with beef.

Delicious Thai food with good vegetarian options! There are also a few Hmong dishes on the menu. They have limited space for in-person dining but their takeout is really good! This is a regular lunch place for me; I'll get a lunch portion of curry and some spring rolls and always have leftovers for the next day.

Fantastic gem of Thai restaurant. Tastiest Thai food in this stretch of town by far. The hotness scale is accurate, choose wisely. The hotter categories are HOT...and if you like that heat, it's balanced perfectly.

Venture off the normal you can get Thai dishes everywhere and go for the more exotic and adventurous. Try the Hmong items. Also highly recommended is the peanut curry.

Ignore the semi scary location. Service may be slower than expected. The food is fantastic. It's worth it!

Great staff and I loved the food. The hot and sour soup was so good. I make it a point to order from there regularly. You definitely need to try it if you like Thai food. The staff was so friendly there, it made it a joy to go there. Try the 28 spicy and the 38 fire.

It's only take out up till now. I got the number 22 and spring rolls and the chicken satay skewers. Chicken satay were pretty dry, the deep fried spring rolls were very good as was my main dish. On a scale of low medium and high I chose medium heat and it was plenty hot. Made my nose run and my brow sweat. Very good taste along with that heat and they give you way too much. Keep up the good work!

New to area so just checked this place out with a pick up order. We had the Pho, Green Curry, Fried rice and chicken wings. Each dish was satisfying with an authentic taste! Not to mention the restaurant itself was clean and the lady behind the window was super sweet while suggesting the redd curry next time. will be back frequently and look forward to trying a new dish each time. I Love this place I have been going here for 6 years. They make my food exactly as asked never had a problem with them. Currently live in Illinois but take the drive there almost every other weekend.. 😊😊😊❤❤😍

This is my favorite Thai food in the Milwaukee area. My husband discovered Thai Bangkok about 8 years ago and would have lunch there 1-2 times a week. Even now, during COVID, we make the drive from Bay View for take out! (Hint hint Thai Bangkok 😉) Love it when Dad is cooking!

Very bad customer service

The best ever hands down

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but the top Thai restaurant on the north side, if not all of Milwaukee. I have never had a bad dish. Five levels of spice that will fit all palettes, happy to say they go above "white people" hot level. Prices are reasonable and the lunch portion is a good deal of food. I have been here many times and will continue to go back.
