Went to this hidden gem today and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. It was quiet with no kitchen noise which allowed us to have a nice conversation without having to talk loudly.
Our server was pleasant and very accommodating since we ate in but also at the end of our meal decided to do a carry-out. The food came to our table surprisingly quick.
Had the Seafood Pad Cha with no spice which was very delicious. The flavors of galangal and lemon grass reminded the palate you were visiting an authentic Asian kitchen. There were a few baby green peppercorns to add just a bit of spice that didn't overwhelm and were optional to eat.
In this difficult time for restaurants I would expect veggie and noodle fillers in a dish. I was amazed that the entree was mostly seafood with a moderate amount of veggies to support the dish. There was at least 6 mussels, 5-6 shrimp and numerous calamari. Calamari at most restaurants is typically very tough and not enjoyable to eat. The calamari here was so tender I can't wait to come here again.
If you're looking for something different than fast food, give Thong's Authentic Thai Restaurant a try, you will be glad you did.
We love this little place! The restaurant itself is very stark, with only a few tables, but the server is very accommodating and both times the food was excellent, and served with finesse.
I had the Tom Yum soup with a side of rice. I like heat but the first time the medium (#3) level had tears running down my face and I enjoyed the #2 more.
We will definitely be coming back!
*Edited 8/2024: Under new ownership the ambience has improved. The new owner is incredibly sweet and friendly and the food is still good. ❤️
I really like this place. They'v redone the restaurant, looks totally different from when they first opened, but for the better. The service was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious as usual. The portions are on the smaller size for the price but inflation, right? I would recommend this place.
GREAT food all around! I have had their red curry, masaman, pineapple fried rice, rangoons and dumplings so far. I've visited quite a few times now and by far, my favorite dish is their red curry! The service is always kind and hospitable and they recently did an interior renovation that looks great! 10/10 would recommend! ☺️
Had take out order. The crispy won ton pad thai was fantastic. It is a soup dish FYI. I recommend it. The traditional pad thai was nice. My only complaint is the fresh spring roll was lacking shrimp. Would not recommend the fresh spring rolls as there were two shrimp per roll. Other places you get a proper four. I would not pay that price for mostly lettuce. But the peanut sauce for the spring rolls was great.
This is seriously the best Thai food and in general I've had in my entire life! Highly recommended! A+

The chef can cook to the right balance of flavor, best one out of all I tried so far!
Food was amazing. Careful with the spice level! Try the Panang Curry
Declined my initial order 1 minute before it was scheduled to be picked up. Said it was because they couldn't take Amex even though it allowed me to pay using it on their website. Paid with another card and confirmed order. When got home, items were missing and all orders were incorrect.

Food had a very off scent, the crab Rangoons tasted like McDonald's pil was used. Jesus on high blast over the intercom with Praise music.. awkward and a bit uncomfortable approach by staff.
I ordered the pork belly pad prik pao and tom kha soup. Service was great but the food was either too salty or too sweet, spice was great but I had to add more water to my soup cause the soup was too sweet. If you're okay with sodium or sugar overload, come here.
Ordered 5 different dishes and sad to say, they were all pretty bland except for the pad Thai that had a bitter aftertaste. Had me questioning if Asian people even cooked it. There was nothing “authentic” about it. For the spring rolls, it came with one teaspoon worth of hoisin. Definitely not enough dipping “sauce.” Should probably remove the peanut sauce in the picture if that isn’t what’s actually served with the spring rolls. The only thing they got right, was the spice level for the food but that’s all it was - pepper. No other flavors. Pretty disappointed. Do better.

It was ok.
The traditional Thai rice was so plain , no flavor no seasoning.
The fresh rolls were disappointing and sad.
Overall was OK, ate cause I was hungry. Would I go again? Probably not
Of all the local Thai spots, this is the one place in GreenBay that can bring the heat. If you like your curry so hot your eyeballs sweat, this is your place.
I highly recommend their soups, fried rice dishes, and their seafood has always been very fresh and cooked perfectly.
I’m telling you unless you want your tounge to feel like a fire ball and instant heart burn do not order the even more hot sauce. It still had a phenomenal flavor with it and that usually never happens with that spicy of food. Thai hot is the best sauce to get very hot but amazing flavor and not such a burn. The ramen with shrimp is my fave. This whole last month I think I ordered this like once a week it’s so good.
God mat och trevlig personal.
The flavor was amazing but overall the food itself wasn't anything amazing. I do plan to go back and try something else on the menu in hopes that it will be better! ( I got the crispy broccoli and pork)
Small little restaurant in Green Bay! Worth visiting, a family owned restaurant. They take good care of their guests. Try their Basil Fried Rice and Pineapple Fried Rice. For desert coconut ice creams are good too.
I order from here frequently. Love the Pad Thai (best in the area in my opinion).Only qualm is the fresh springs rolls are very bland. I’d suggest adding an herb like cilantro, basil or even mint leaves to add some flavor. It’s mostly a lettuce wrap with two shrimps. Overall though a great place!
Kind service. Food was outstanding!
Will never get food from here again. I ordered the pad see ew and drunken noodles. I only got plain noodles with the meat that I chose for both. There’s a specific sauce that goes on for both but apparently that’s not seen as something that’s needed at this place. Apparently plain noodles is totally cool here, even when the customer doesn’t ask for that. There’s a Thai restaurant that has 4.7 or 4.8 stars in the area. Go to that one. It’s great
Had Thai fried rice with combine proteins and soup here , it’s taste delicious
the papaya they give to me to small and the taste is super salty and just sweet, they put a lot of pala. Inappropriate$13. Will never go again 🙂 or maybe they think that I’m a little girl and just give to me small!!!!!!!! I don't know how big the normal size is.. But the one I received was bigger than my fist. Plus, the lime is have a little bitter and the papaya feel like not fresh.
Had a wonderful meal here- red curry with tofu and a stir fry dish. They were very accommodating to make the dishes vegan and the server was very sweet! Fast and delicious:)
This resturant only worth as it a last available resturant and you dying to eat anything. 1 waiter with a full house and it can take hours to get yout foods. Pho with no side ingerents specially no sriracha can be painful to eat pho. 1st stop and last stop for me.
Papaya salad was gross. Red curry dish made sick.
Tienen muchas comidas deliciosas, excelente servicio muy amables 100/100 100% recomendado

Awesome food. Great staff!
Thong’s Authentic Thai Restaurant is a family-run establishment that prioritizes substance over style. The place lacks decor, renovation, and music, but the food quality is commendable. The staff is polite and genuinely cares about their customers. Considering the reasonable prices and the quality of the food, it offers great value. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine without any frills.
Well cooked food and very excellent service. I will definitely be back
Delicious food, kind and friendly service. Love it there!!
Had take out order. The crispy won ton pad thai was fantastic. It is a soup dish FYI. I recommend it. The traditional pad thai was nice. My only complaint is the fresh spring roll was lacking shrimp. All of the food are delicious. Definitely will come back again.
Foods is really goods, customer service real fast & quit.
The food are very delicious
Get off Uber if you don't want to deliver. Good food, though.
Some food is good, and the other food is not good. Got dry pad thai and the portions of some of the food is extremely small. Very inconsistent with the portion size.
Food was okay.
The food is legit here, and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back
Quality gone downhill unfortunately
Ordered delivery our first time and tried several dishes - it was exactly as I’d hoped! This second time, I ordered pickup so I was able to see the restaurant. It’s in an older strip mall and tucked away, so I probably never would have found it- so I’m even more thankful they were on UberEats for the first order! I think we’ve found our Thai restaurant in Green Bay!
Dine in with my family, everyone ordered what they want to eat and they said the foods are delicious, I ordered Pla Seafood for myself and it was the best seafood I’ve had. We will definitely come back again soon.
Crispy pork and Crab Rangoon were wonderful! Prices are cheaper too.
Nothing good to say, sorry.
This place is a gem in Green Bay! The food I ordered was very authentic, tasty, yet not overtly salty, or sweet as in other Thai restaurants and it was not saucy or gooey or oily. It was just right! If you are into gooey, saucy and sweet, this may not be the place for you. The restaurant is run by a couple of brothers and they are very friendly and helpful. It is very obvious this restaurant is a classic small family fair. And that is exactly the kind of restaurant I like. Compares to other Asian food I had here in Green Bay, these guys are definitely much better! I ordered pad-see-ew, middle grade spicy. This dish was my usual go to in any Thai restaurant. To make this right, they would need fat rice noodles. I thought it would be a challenge for these to get in this town. But my dish came out and they made it with fat rice noodles! The noodles were just as I had expected, soft and tasty but not soggy! Very yummy!! The spiciness was just in the range of my tolerance too! So perfect. It was very satisfying to eat a dish that had the right price and also tasted so good!! Note; There is not much of atmosphere to speak of for dine ins. But i would say, the place is very clean, very large and comfortable. I would come back to try their other dishes for sure!
Best Thai restaurant in town I am amazed by the food and its taste
I had the chicken yellow curry and fried spring roll delivered. PROS: the curry sauce though super soupy was very tasty and there was a ton of it. CONS: The spring rolls were soggy and fell apart when I went to pick them up. I got chicken and order extra shrimp with the curry. What I got was a TON of onions, really tough chicken and 3 pieces of small shrimp. So the only thing that stood out in the curry was the soupy tasty sauce. 😑
Really disappointed. Won't order again.
I got my food to go so can’t speak to the service or atmosphere. However the food was amazing. I got the Pho Taek and some spring rolls. The food was visually appealing and amazing. Loved the mussels seriously 10/10 everything was great
Partner's pork was still raw pink in their fried rice. My tofu curry was fine. Atmosphere is plain. Fresh spring rolls looked like a teen rolled them and were just iceberg lettuce and shrimp. The server took the raw pork fried rice off our bill. Will not be going here again.
Most unassuming 5-star experience! Friendly service. Tasty food. We got free Christmas entertainment in Thai, too!! Will definitely be back here when in town.
None of the food was half as good as the pictures made them to be.
The pad thai was bland and way spicier than it should've been. I added ingredients at home but what was most disappointing was that they used regular pho noodles for it instead of flat noodles. On top of that, little meat, 95% noodles and not much else. I was very unsatisfied with the taste and texture for that price.
Crab rangoons were okay but needs to come with more sauce in the container.
Fresh spring rolls were a miss too because it only had lots of shredded lettuce, 2/3 tiny shrimp and the tiniest piece of cucumber but the peanut sauce was not horrible(I still added hoisen).
Crispy pork pad prik khing was a 3/5 but that is the best thing I ordered today besides the Thai tea.
I have to say right now that this experience tells me that it is not authentic at all.
I'm sorry to say this but anyone who said it was good is either not Asian or don't have a great palate.
Love the foods here.
The foods here are amazing. I love it and will definitely come back again soon.
The food was somewhat good. We had 8 people there, and the person serving told us to sit in 2 different tables due to it not having enough room. We ordered our food, and the person that was serving brought our food to different tables, and we didn't know which was which the guy serving said it was for our table which wasn't and was for the other table. We also ordered smoothies, and they took the longest time on it. we already finished our food and were ready to pay, and they said they are still working on it. The floor was sticky and felt like they hadn't cleaned the place in ages. I also wouldn't say this place is "Authentic" like the restaurant name says it is. I've eaten at different Thai places and even ate real Thai food before, and this was not it. All of this could've been avoided if the tables had numbers, and since the servant told us to sit in different tables, 2 of our orders were swapped, and 1 person was left out.
Terrible service
Great food, we had the drunken noodles, green curry, Tom kao soup, fresh spring rolls and traditional spring rolls and Thai ice tea, 5 stars on everything, beef was tender, broth was delicious, chicken in the curry was great the only thing medium heat was a little hot for me and I do like spice so maybe try mild next time.
For a restaurant to advertise “authentic” Thai food I was greatly disappointed. I ordered pad Thai with extra veggies and extra chicken and I got three pieces of onion and two pieces of baby corn. Didn’t even use any kind of oriental noodle. It was spaghetti there was no flavor to it until I added some hot sauce and some soy sauce which I’m not sure you’re supposed to need. I also ordered crab meat Rangoon’s that were horrible, I swear they were from the freezer and not freshly made. And the sauce was not sauce at all. It was more like sweet-and-sour water, and I think I got about a teaspoon of it. No, I didn’t sit down and eat, but the place looked very clean and as far as friendliness I paid for my meal and air before time. I just picked it up so I can attest to that but the flavor the food was horrible.
Worst Thai food I have ever had. Watery curry. No lemon grass or coconut milk in the Tom Kha, and it was so sweet we couldn’t eat it. Skimpy on the meat also.
Horrible service! There’s not much customer here. I’ve never seen a restaurant like this empty. Too salty, and too sweet. Foods are not for human being, should just go straight to the dumpster. Or maybe even better, they should close the restaurant!
Simple and elegant sitting area and REAL good food!!!! The nice man have me a free soda :)
I ordered trad pad thai and pad see-ew through eat street. I got two dishes that look exactly the same with pho noodles. Not even pad thai anymore, it’s just rubbish. Never ever ordering from here anymore nor am I gonna ever bother dining in.
Food was too spicy for medium level. We were not able to finish food! Just took remaining food as takeout.
Quite possibly the best soup I've ever had. 😋 perfect heat.
Awful. I ordered the wonton pad thai. It was like soup. The spring rolls came in a bag where they were floating in grease. The grease literally soaked thru the bag and puddled on top of the other to go box. Gross. I took one bite of each and threw the rest out. Never again.
Comparing the Pho with other Thai/Hmong/Korean restaurants in the area, the Pho was bland. There was very little more then simply broth and noodles. I wasn't overly impressed with the product at their pricing. GB has much better options in my opinion!
Good papaya salad, very spicy foe medium. I tried the Thai style larb, different, not bad at all, and the sticky rice was good. They serve can drinks here.
Sure not a restaurant 🙄 😒 won't be back no one in place except 1 guy for bowl of soup this was on noon on Friday .
Very homestyle food
I have had food delivered from here a few times. It’s always been great . Would recommend!
Ordered last night. Each dish was fantastic.
Ordered green curry and masaman curry chicken mild. It was to spicy for my gf to eat and like other reviews say it was rice soup with tiny bits of chicken way overpriced this is a 2 dollar dish. Would not recommend. Also the rangoons were nearly empty fried wafers. Spring rolls were okay.
This place is NOT good. Ordered through door dash - massaman curry, one with extra chicken, crab Rangoon, and spring rolls.
1. Believe the reviews that say the crab Rangoons have no filling. They are empty, stale fried shells
2. Believe the reviews that say the curry is watered down. The massaman that paid for extra chicken did not have extra chicken added. It was so flavorless.
3. Spring rolls were meh.
$56 (with tip) and we were barely able to stomach more than a couple of bites. Disappointing is an understatement.
Have ordered delivery several times. Food is excellent. You determine spice level which is so great. also, pls remember the owners are Thai. If you want vegan, call and talk to them about no egg. they have always been so nice about my orders and I always thank them /tip well. get the fish, sooo good.
Crab ragoons have no sauce in side. And spring rolls aren't great... not impressed at all 😕
We got take out for our first experience here. Unfortunately we did not enjoy our food. Food was fast so that’s a plus. I’m hoping it’s better when you eat there, but after our take out experience not sure we will ever try it again.
Loved finding this little, authentic Thai place...the only I've found with Kau Soi which was great. The place is clean, but kind of sparce. But it lends itself to the "hole in a wall" atmosphere. Saw several folks come in for take out.
Green Curry was like tasteless soup. Rangoon was empty fried shells.
Unfortunately we had a bad food experience getting takeout. The only positive thing was the high spice level, which we enjoy, but I could see a lot of patrons finding it too spicy. The crab rangoon were over cooked and dry inside and we weren't able to eat them. There was almost no chicken in the massaman curry, drunken noodles, and curry fried rice. The curry was also very watered down. The speed and service was quick and I wish them the best of luck with their business, but we will not be returning.
Best Thai in town. Love how authentic the spice levels are. I would recommend Pad See-Ew, Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles.
Flavor of the hot Massaman Curry was wonderful!! Great service too! Chicken was a little over cooked however the amazing flavor saved it and then some.
My hubby & I had the Traditional Thai Fried Rice (1 w/chicken and 1 w/pork) I am sorry to say that both were absolutely horrible. We will not be returning. We've had TFR at other restaurants and hubby was in Thailand for a year; this was nothing like we've ever had before: flavors & textures were unpalatable.
The fresh spring rolls were warm when they were are a cold appetizer. I did not like the fact that the bathroom was in the back room. However the drunken noodle and the traditional pad Thai weren’t bad. Just not to much flavor.
As others have said, this is a very minimalist restaurant, in terms of seating and décor. Lots of parking.
However, the service is excellent and the food is fabulous! It's my favorite Thai eatery in NE Wisconsin. I come here a few times a month to get my Thai fix.
The dishwasher is so nice and does a awesome job washing dishes 👍
My entire party ordered the mild seasoning on 3 different dishes, all three dishes were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, service was great, and the cooks asked us several times how we liked it, we all replied with enthusiastic "we love it"
Ugh, I'm reading other reviews and I don't get why I'm the only not positive one? Maybe it was because we did takeout. I want to give it 2 starts, but since flavors were there, 3 it is. Regardless, here it goes.
Overall, super disappointed. To the point where we don't ever order carry out nor sit down here.
The flavor of the Pad Thai was definitely there. However, I have never been served a Pad Thai with super thin, spaghetti shaped noodles. Normally, I've seen a long, flat, pad Thai rice noodle, that hold their shape. This was made with a super thing noodle, almost spaghetti shaped. And, it broke apart like non other. Meaning, my noodles were 1 inch little pieces. Just weird, from an experience standpoint. And because they were so thin, they were kinda mushy, versus a noodle texture.
The Stir Fry Holy Basil, it was decent. I just wish we had a decent portion to enjoy it. I was surprised how little meat/mixture was in the portion. I'm talking maybe a half cup worth of meat/food? Felt very light on the portion side, to the point you'd definitely need to eat something else. Unless you plan on getting full on just rice.
I have been to Thailand and many Thai restaurants in the states but this is one of the worst ones ever! the taste isn't true to authenticity and it is too salty. Maybe I had too high expectations but this is really disappointing.
Food was very good. The place was super clean.
Great food at a reasonable price. Depending on your palate, mild (#2) and medium (#3) might be on the spicy side. Curry was tasty. Pad Thai made the grade too. I’ll be interested to try other more unique dishes next time. Food was made quickly despite a Saturday evening.
I would like to see the carry out materials be something more sustainable than styrofoam.
Excellent! Had the fried spring rolls & the pla seafood salad ... So flavorful & calamari was so tender!! I'd recommend getting a side of rice noodles or rice to add to the salad to mop up the sauce.
Just passing through GB. Stopped in because I was in the mood for a quick lunch. I spent a year in Thailand and the pad see ew was perfect. Tasted just like Bangkok. I wish I could go back n try everything. The owner seemed really cool too. The ambiance is lacking… but the food is yummy.
First time, my wife suggested.. don't normally like new things... already asked her to remember what we ate, wonderful. Patrick was kind
Ordered through grub hub. The Tom kha gai and yellow curry were phenomenal! Will be ordering again.
Terrible food. I ordered curry chicken. It was like eating rice soup with two bite size pieces of chicken. I threw it away. Didn't eat it. Very bad!
Drunken noodles are incredible!!
Good food.
It was delicious . The grilled sweet and spicy beef was the bomb!!!
Egg rolls were excellent . Never had spring rolls fried. Definitely will order again . I’m afraid I’ll order the beef every time it was so good!!!
Very nice addition to Green Bay! I've been to Thailand more than a few times and it is very traditional which I love. Tom yum is just the way I like it and I'm having fun trying the rest of their menu! Update: Their jungle curry is now my go-to! This place is fantastic!
Stars for food. Ambiance? Meh. But who cares if the chow is great! I noticed lots of take out even at lunch.
Partner had pineapple fried rice. He was pleased and had enough for 3 side dishes as leftovers.
I had the seafood curry, asking that they "spice it up a notch or two". It was WONDERFUL. And I totally ate every bite (not wishing to share: call me Ms Piggy!)
We did splurge for Thai ice tea, but would opt for water next time. (Maybe I am getting old, but that sweetness doesn't thrill me as it used to.)
The proprietor was an attentive waiter, making himself scarce as needed.
Will definitely return. 💯
I ordered takeout E9 ( Pad Prik Pao) $10.99. The food is cheap, I do not mean the price but the “portion”.
Inside the styrofoam box, there was a bowl of rice, occupied 2/3 of the container (Half of rice was soaked in the salty juice). The main dish only consisted of very small portion with a few pieces of tiny chopped chicken meat, green pepper, onion and basil.
The value and taste of the food does not worth of visit again.
All I’ve gotten so far is the thai tea and pandan custard with fried dough and both were very delicious but I was a little disappointed that for $5.50 I only get one 2oz cup of custard. It was so delicious that I felt like I needed two more cups. I will be ordering here again to try more but definitely asking for more custard next time.
I was extremely disappointed. The heat was good but overall the flavors were bland and the beef was rubbery.
Stir Fried Holy Basil and Meatball skewers are my favorite! Friendly staff and great service! Definitely will come again
I have been in this place many times and their Pad Thai is Awesome!! Would recommend anybody who likes Pad Thai.
We were discussing getting Chinese food. Wanted to get delivery and instead found Thong’s. Wow! I got the Drunken Noodles as hot as they offer. My teeth hurt it was so spicy! I was in love. The flavors and textures are incredible, everything tasted super fresh. My wife got the noodle soup with shrimp and it too was incredible. Uber Eats delivered it quick in hot but Im looking forward to trying it in person as Im sure its even better! Give this a shot you wont be disappointed.
We've ordered a few times from here, and the flavors are generally good, but the incredibly small portion sizes are not worth the price you're paying. They give you a lot of rice, but your actual dish will only be about 1/4 cup. :/
After living in bigger cities in my 20s I was always disappointed by the Thai options in GB. This place is pretty great though. In my opinion, it's definitely on par with the best places I've tried in Milwaukee and the Twin Cities.
My yellow curry was very good. Will order again.
Disappointed at pad thai, red curry and papaya salad not worth the $ taste nothing like Thai food better off at plia kitchen or Oneida casinos
Great food and many selections to choose from. The only thing missing is the jumping shrimp salad, lol.
That place is so good and clean and also food are really good can’t wait to going and eating next times
This is the 2nd time they messed up my order! Horrible customer service! Don’t wast your money!!!
These food aren't so good
Portion sizes were a little smaller than I expected, but everything I've tried tastes phenomenal. Tom Kha Gai hits the spot. I also like how their menu has very clear terminology for the levels of spiciness available.
I’ve been vegan for almost 4 years now and my family and I chose this restaurant because there are specific vegan options for dishes. I had the drunken noodles ordered vegan and with tofu. When it was brought to the table, it looked like there were small pieces of egg in the noodles and when I asked the waiter if my food was vegan, he said “you ordered it vegan. Right?” I said yes and he replied “then it should be vegan.” Needless to say, it was not vegan. There was in fact scrambled eggs in the dish and I ate half of the noodles before seriously questioning the waiters response. I stopped eating immediately and started feeling sick. It has now been a few hours and I am physically sick from eating egg as my body does not process animal based ingredients anymore. I don’t know if the staff just doesn’t know the difference between vegan and vegetarian or if this was a one time slip, but it will definitely keep me from coming to this restaurant again.
This place has the best Thai food in Green Bay. It is hidden in a little strip mall by a pawn shop. I had the drunken noodle with mild heat and I wanted more.
Perfect size portion and best taste in Greenbay area definitely a must try restaurant
This is an amazing restaurant!. Moved from the east coast and we were looking for the best Thai in town. They were open on Sunday and we’re not finding anything open to order from and found Thongs Authentic Thai and thought we would try it. To our surprise We had the best fresh spring rolls and Pad Thai ever. Patrick
knows what he s doing! Really enjoyed everything. We are harsh critics BTW don't hesitate doing take out
Chris Graham
The best Thai restaurant in Green Bay. Thai fried rice is my favorite all time. I highly recommend!
Very delicious food, great customer service.
Great food and clean environment.
