I didn't get a picture of everything we tried but I had to leave a review because we came in about 15 minutes before closing time and we were going to do take out, but the lovely couple seated us down and told us to not rush and let us enjoy our meal together. They were so sweet to us and we all got to know each other a bit and overall I had such a great experience! The food was good too and I had to take a picture of the wings. I forgot to take a picture of the rest of the food because I was too focused on eating haha. However the wings were SO flavorful and juicy and delicious. The sauce was so good as well. I had a great experience and thank you so much to the kind owners who let us stay and eat there. We had an amazing experience here. I would also like to add that the presentation was just so amazing!

We ordered two iced Thai teas, a beef pad Thai, and a basil seafood.
• The Thai iced teas where wonderful.
• The beef pad Thai was great as well. Saw some reviews saying they didn’t have much meat or that the portion was small, my portion was a good size and I had plenty of meat pieces. (Other review said they only had 2, I had 6+.)
• My mother had the basil seafood. She said that the seafood was cooked perfectly. I had a few bites, it was delicious!

Setting, atmosphere, and service wise, it was all fantastic too. The employees were very polite and kind, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing (we were the only people there), there was music being played but it was very quiet, the bathrooms were clean, etc.

The Sabu Sabu was delicious and came out fresh and crispy, the Crab Wontons were a table favorite and would be perfect for a quick bite if ever on the go. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao for our entree and we were very pleased with the generous portion for the price. Each of us left extremely satisfied and full. We will absolutely be returning.

Went in with a party of 7. The food was very good, the presentation was absolutely lovely. I really appreciate the large open windows and good lighting. The server was friendly and attentive. The only complaint I had was that the place was almost empty and it took a very long time for our food to come out.

First time in and walked away super impressed, far and away the best Thai we’ve found in Tacoma. The crispy tofu, pad see ew, and green curry were all excellent. They were running the store with just two folk but service was prompt and the food was: really, really good.

I don’t recommend this restaurant to plant based or vegan diners. The food I ordered was flavorless. I was disappointed considering the price of the entrée. My meat eating friends enjoyed their meals, but I will not be back

I had the pleasure of coming across this place with my wife, while looking for a bite to eat on 6th ave. Our first time coming into this wonderful establishment we were enamored by the detail and cleanliness. We were seated right away, and within our first 15 mins received some of the best food, not to mention best service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant. With an excellent duo of the owner and his wife, they’ve created a warm family business that is a must have if you are in the area. The detail of all their dishes is nothing short of immaculate, flavorful, and filled with soul. I spoke with the owner/chef personally and I can say after tonight on my 3rd visit this is one of my favorite restaurants hands down, I highly recommend the Red curry, Pad Thai, and cashew chicken!

I was looking for a spot that would offer me peace as I ate n process my growth over the week. This was it. I knew the food n service was good. Until today I'd only done take out. This would also be ideal for 2-3rd date. Cozy, good food, well priced, family. I recommend you try it.

I love Wild Orchid! I finally got to go there tonight with some friends and dine in for the first time since the pandemic. Prior, we went there very regularly. The food was just as delicious as I remember, we had wonderful service, and a great time! I highly recommend and look forward to going back soon!

We were delighted to revisit this gem of a Thai restaurant that had been closed to in-person dining during the height of the pandemic, and only reopened doors to diners in July. I had the lemongrass chicken with 2 glasses of iced Thai coffee - the best I can remember at any Thai restaurant, anywhere. Take your time here and enjoy the soothing atmosphere and friendly faces. We’ll be back often!

I paid 30 for 2 dishes and both when over salted. I ordered basil duck and it was so salty I had to fix it when I got home. I got the crispy sabu sabu and the inside was oil soaked and the meat had a strange flavor. I'm so sad cause previous orders were pretty good.

The food was good the prices were okay. Although I ordered my food to-go I picked it up and paid for it and by the time I got home it was the wrong order. So I called to see if they would remake it and no one answered

I just want to talk about the Styrofoam clam shells they use.

These should be outlawed Silk Thai up the street uses bio degradable plastic shells and the food is better.

Beside the clamshells they gave us the wrong food, it tasted fine and we ate it without complaining.

(Make sure to order directly through restaurant so they get all the profits NOT Uber or GrubHub or Door Dash, etc.)

Family run business most nights it's the lovely husband and Wife helping cook your meal. And always delicious! If you want spicy and authentic get your food here!

Very nice Thai restaurant on 6th Ave. We started with the Fried Spring Roll, they were great. Then went with Lemon Grass BBQ Chicken, with a nice peanut sauce, very good. We also got the Phad Thai with chicken, you can also get it with Prawns. It was also very good. You can pick your spice level from 1-5.

I saw a review from 7/8/20 that said this business is closed. I spoke to the owner, they open at 5:00pm and are still open for take-out.

Great gluten free pad thai

Best Thai in the area by far. Really excellent Mongolian Beef, Wide Rice noodles and Basil Chicken. My son said the Chicken Sate was also great.

My husband and I went on a Wednesday night at 7 pm. The dining room was completely empty of customers but the place had great reviews so we ventured in. Wow! Service was great and the food was amazing. Extensive menu with authentic dishes. My husband had the crispy egg rolls and the Moo Goo Gai Pan. I ordered gluten free chicken & cashews & hot tea. They can make almost every dish gluten free if requested. Everything was beautifully presented and very good. About $40. Other customers started coming in & they did a lot of take-out dinners. Will definitely go back.

Had my pad thai delivered with pieces of a blue rubber band mixed in it. Not sure where it originated from. Also, no untiensiels or napkins with the food. Almost $30 for some spaghetti noodles, 5 shrimp and a rubber band. I tried calling a buch to try and get this fixed but nobody answers so here's my phone call via review.

Although they do not have many vegetarian or vegan options on the menu, the helpful staff are willing to alter their dishes to remove meat products. The waitress also asked about dairy products, showing an interest in making sure the meal would be ok for me to eat. I had a delicious spicy red curry so packed with veggies that I couldn't finish it. It was also beautifully presented! I cannot express enough how kind and friendly the staff were.

I made an order at 4:00 p.m., requesting that I be able to pickup my order at 5:00 p.m. After arriving at 5:00, not only was my order not finished but I was told it would be finished in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, my order was actually finished. No apology was given.

If you want to quick you might miss it so make sure you stop in this is a little gem on sixth. We got there at 5:30 PM and it was dead with how good the food is here there should be a line down the block. I had the curry which is absolutely amazing and my fiancé had the fried rice which I couldn’t help but snag some bites of. The service is superb my water never got below half full and our food was delivered within 15 minutes of ordering it. The aesthetic’s are beautiful it feels like you are in an ivy jungle. It’s not the fanciest place out there but for the price it’s very nice and you can tell they appreciate your business.

Service took a long time, and I dint feel you get what you pay for. The food has cute presentation but I didnt enjoy the taste. Though that is a matter of opinion I gave it 3 stars because of how long it took to get our food, that we got charged for rice we never got and because with only ordering meals for two people it was almost 100 dollars, and the portions were small.
