The vibes were AWFUL! Why do you work in the service industry if you don’t want to serve people?

When we walked in we were looked at like we were literally stupid. We got no greeting and were asked “do you have a reservation or what?” We did, unfortunately.
I would have walked out if I wasn’t there with 5 other people who just drove 30 minutes to come here.
We were here for a birthday so the celebration vibes got shifted a bit.
The way we got treated when we walked in the building ruined the meal before I could even taste it :(

Diner Review №11

The food was good, but the service was not. We walked in for my brothers birthday dinner that we had made reservations for. We waited for maybe 2 minutes(not a big deal at all) a server walked by and did not greet us. A guy walked up to us behind the counter(he had terrible greasy slicked back long hair) and didn’t greet us and looked at us like we shouldn’t have been there. My wife finally broke the silence and said hello and he raised his eyebrows in disgust and said well do you reservation or what? He continued to be unpleasant as he sat us. Definitely made me not want to spend money here and will not be back. The waiters and waitress staff were all great except for greaser guy.

Diner Review №12

Nice place. Couldn't say anything stood out. I was there to visit family. No complaints at all. I'm going for the drinks and food, next time. Enjoy

Diner Review №13

Good appetizers but it stops there.

Rude service members and mid entres. Seriously I could get the same quality from take out. I ordered mango chicken and it was served with frozen veggies!

Diner Review №14

Our office hosted our annual Christmas party on 12/7/24 at 6:30pm. We had about 25 people. The food was good but the service was terrible. When I walked in I was barely greeted. I explained that we have a group reservation and they said ok and turned around and kept talking. A few minutes later I asked if our room was ready and a gentleman that seemed to be somewhat in charge said “ yes I’ll take you there”. I continue to follow him while he was eating his chicken wing and showed me the room. The waitress Makayla was in charge of our group was not friendly. We had to go get her several times. She looked annoyed the entire time. To top things off they came in the room to give us our dessert; a bowl with truffles and asked each individual person if they wanted one and proceeded to scoop it out with a napkin. We spend over $4000 that day, which $621 was gratuity. We were all shocked by the entire experience and how unprofessional everyone is that works there.

Diner Review №15

Good mango fried rice not great the mango wasn’t the best only did takeout so not sure how the seating is. Rice was seasoned well

Diner Review №16

I consistently LOVE it! All about the crab wontons!

Diner Review №17

We stopped in for a drink and some appetizers. Staff was extremely friendly. The food was so delicious and the drinks were amazing.

Diner Review №18

One complaint aside the good food. Serive was nice, but there were noticably vapes laying on several countertops. It didn't bother me too much as I doubt it affects the food itself, but it's mainly a matter of professionalism. I was dissapointed to see one on the bar counter as well as the check-in desk. Although my experience other than that was great, I won't be returning.

The food was great pad Thai was my personal favorite but the curry is a very close second unfortunately service was lacking, we were left waiting for water and half our table was empty glassware and plates that we had to ask to be cleared and even then only a couple pieces where removed I would also suggest you stear very clear of the barrel aged old-fashioned.

Diner Review №22

I dined at indocine last night 11/9/24 for a birthday dinner. The vibes and atmosphere were amazing. The servers were cool. Could have been a little bit better. The Food. Absolutely disgusting. And I’m not a picky eater at all. I’m a big back. I like food but this was not good at all. I ordered honey walnut shrimp that was served with lychee and pineapples for some odd reason. I personally didn’t like the fact that my food was luke warm with cold pineapples. Plus it didn’t come with rice. You have to buy that separately. My drink was the lavender lemonade. It was aight. But there was a coffee bean floating in it. lol. I don’t know why. I ordered my son orange chicken. Straight greasy and a crap ton of batter. The oil they were frying in needed to be change. It hands down was burnt oil. I also ordered crab wontons. And I loveeee crab wontons. Straight gritty filling. It wasn’t good. For the prices and the atmosphere you’d expect the food to be damn good. Honestly it wasn’t. I feel bad for having to make this review but I feel like who ever is the chef should do better. But on a better note, the do give you large portions.

service has been AWFUL the two times ive been here. Two chipped plates this time around, and the food is little bang for fairly big bucks. The food is so close to being good but it just falls flat. The salmon is $32 and you get two small pieces on a bunch of vegetables with a strange tasting sauce. The service is quite subpar, both times I was here it took forever not only for the food, but for drinks as well (when it wasn't busy!!), and both times the waiter rarely stops by and its difficult to flag them down. Of course the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, its very pretty, but you can't go after sunset because they don't seem to have any lights beyond some candles and twinkly lights. Really disappointing because I want to love this place. I wonder if they really only have a couple good dishes, or if their other location on Pearl Street is better.

Diner Review №29

Beautiful inside with fantastic food, drinks, and service. We were with a big party and they handled the lot of us with efficiency, professionalism, and high energy.

Diner Review №30

I had a pretty good experience 😜 The food was really delicious. Every dish I tried had authentic and well-balanced flavors, which made the dinner very enjoyable. You can see the effort and dedication that went into the preparation of each of the dishes.

However, I must mention that the affogato did not meet my expectations. The quality was not up to par with what I had enjoyed in the rest of the meal. This kept me from giving the overall experience 5 stars, as I believe that every little thing counts.

In short, if you are looking for a place to enjoy a nice Asian dinner, I would definitely recommend Indochine. Just make sure you choose the dessert well. I hope they improve the affogato in the future!

Diner Review №31

The food is good and the service is nice. I love the decor inside.

Diner Review №32

Diner Review №33

The pictures I have don’t do it justice! The inside is fun with a small pond and water feature. The tables are largely open with no backs making for a truly unique dining experience. The service was quick and polite. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend the drunken noodles, Panang curry, and the orange chicken. All were amazing and cooked to perfection. The lychee martini is must try if you’re doing drinks as well!

Diner Review №34

Food was good. Service was great the drinks delicious.

I recently visited **Indochine** in Tacoma, and as someone who moved from a country where restaurant service is at a very high level, I tend to be quite critical of establishments here in the U.S. However, I also understand that service standards vary, and you can't impose your own expectations when local customs are different. If people in America enjoy this level of service, then that’s the norm here. That said, I still have high standards, and I have to say, Indochine is one of the few places that genuinely deserves the 5 stars I'm giving it.

One thing that stood out to me was how promptly the waitstaff cleared our table — they didn’t wait for the plates to pile up, which is rare in many places I’ve visited here. We ordered **empanadas** as a starter, and they were juicy, flavorful, and perfectly hot — both my husband and I loved them. He had beef with mushrooms and rice, a very hearty dish that left him satisfied, and I enjoyed the tuna sashimi with a fresh salad of vegetables and pineapple. The food was a pleasant surprise.

Another lovely touch was the **live flowers** on the table. I always notice those small details, and it added a fresh, welcoming vibe to the dining experience. Indochine really impressed me with both the quality of food and attention to detail.

The food tastes good, but you will be nickled and dimed for everything. I spent $150 for the items I'm posting in my picture and no rice or noodles were included. When I called to discuss the situation I was told I was not a customer and the manager needed to get back to work. I'll never give my business to this place again, and I'm sad about it.

I grew up in Tacoma but moved away years ago but whenever I'm in town it's a must that we eat here.
Update-So it's been a few years since I've been home and obviously had to come here. I was a little disappointed. The food was not nearly as good as it's been the last 15 years. The Mongolian beef was soupy. The previous recipe was way better. The mango fried rice was just ok. And I found out they no longer serve the chai martini. I was really excited to take my family here but we were a little underwhelmed. Still as beautiful as ever inside though. Make sure and take a coat because it was freezing.

Russell was the greatest experience dining at Indochine, due to his superb customer relations skills with me as a customer. Russell professionalism with great customer satisfaction exceeded my expectations in every aspects based on my reservations on 6/16th. Russell kept his words by ensuring me that my family dining was going to be great. He assigned me the best server Edgar and the food was deliciously delicious. And the place was beautiful for a graduation celebration for it was my daughters favorite place to dine.

Diner Review №46

(MAY 2024) Had some great past experiences here, but this time it left us not wanting to go back ever again. We looked forward to our lettuce wrap appetizer, but it changed for the worst. Lettuce was discolored, wilted, and they didn't use iceberg lettuce... used to be a signature dish and good. New cooks obviously, recipes changed as well, not as good. Awful service, got seated in the side room, group of 6, off the bar. No I ones water got filled ever. Had to track down waitress just to get water. She was just chatting with her bartender friends. Very absent the whole night. Pad thai was sub-par, not as good as before. Won't be returning. Sad day.

Diner Review №47

The food here is outstanding. The interior is unique, comfortable, and a delight to the senses! The presentation of the food is excellent. The servers are great. This is one place you need to go to when you are in Tacoma!

Diner Review №51

I have been a loyal patron of Indoshine for over 13 years, consistently enjoying wonderful dining experiences. However, my recent visit was so disappointing that I am unlikely to return.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager and host. Despite not having a reservation, which was unexpectedly mentioned as a requirement, we were seated. After being seated, we waited an unusually long time before anyone approached us. Although someone brought water, it was not our server, and my glass was dirty. It took 30 minutes for the waiter to replace it, and he was generally inattentive throughout our visit.

The wait time for our food was excessively long, and when it finally arrived, it was brought by someone other than our waiter. The quality of the food was shockingly subpar, barely a step above fast food like Panda Express. This was particularly surprising given the fabulous meals I've had there in the past.

To add to the disappointment, after we finished eating, the waiter asked if we needed anything else. When we said no, he responded with, "Oh, are you guys just hanging out?" This was a strange question, especially since he had not yet brought the check. Additionally, we had requested stevia and soy sauce, which the server never brought. We had to ask someone else, who finally provided them.

I suspect there may have been changes in management or ownership, as the restaurant's standards have clearly declined. I am deeply disappointed that a place I once cherished has deteriorated so much.

Once they get their act together it will once again be a great place for a fancy date! Much potential for improvement.

The good:
Beautiful venue that offers an interesting dining experience!
The menu offers an exciting variety of tantalizingly described items. The fried tofu is amazing as are all of the sauces that came with each thing we ate.

Saucier chef has skills!

The bad:
Food could be cooked with more skill, and half of what we ordered on a $200 bill was sadly disappointing. A beautiful filet of wild Salmon was overcooked and the breading on the walnut prawns was so thick and doughy it had to be returned mostly uneaten and removed from the bill.

Entree chef needs improvement!

Sorry to be judgy about attire, but when I am in a higher end restaurant paying top dollar I not only expect the food to be prepared precisely but the staff to NOT be wearing hoody sweats and street clothes to work even if they are all a "uniform" black in color.

The water server seemed inexperienced on timing with refills, offering refills reaching over people eating when water wasn't needed yet and then NOT coming around when water was actually needed.

It was a weird, "mixed" experience. Worth trying and complaining about when they will probably make mistakes.

Diner Review №65

Overpriced and it's not worth and small portions for entree

Diner Review №66

Food was good. Waiter was amazing ans vibes was awesome. They have drink and they do mocktails! Pad Thai isn't great but they mango fried rice was awesome. They are open for a couple hours in the afternoon and closed again then open for dinner. Group of 4 or more, make a reservation if possible. We have a group of 8. Will come again for the vegan options they had.

Diner Review №68

I am deeply disappointed to say that our experience at Indochine restaurant in Tacoma was one of the worst we've ever had. To start, we waited for an hour for our appetizer to arrive, only to find out later that the order was never placed. Despite ordering cocktails, the Margarita was excessively sour, prompting us to ask for a replacement, which took an additional 25 minutes to arrive. Our main dishes took another hour to be served.

We were celebrating my mother's birthday, and it was disheartening to see her so disappointed with the service. Despite having balloons and presents on our table, the server failed to acknowledge the occasion or make any effort to improve our experience. Even when we ordered dessert, the server neglected to offer any special treatment for my mom's birthday.

Furthermore, when dessert finally arrived, it was missing the gelato that was supposed to accompany the chocolate cake as per the menu. We had to remind the waiter about this, and even then, he brought the gelato separately. When we received the check, we were surprised to find that we were charged for all the mistakes we had encountered, despite the server's assurance that he wouldn't charge us.

Overall, our experience at Indochine was extremely disappointing, and we have no intention of ever returning. It's truly a shame that such a special occasion was marred by such terrible service.

Diner Review №69

A little noisy, but beautiful place
And the seats have no back, so if you have back problems find a different area to sit.

Diner Review №70

This place was phenomenal, fresh rolls were large portioned and made to order, and the Black Sea was one of the best Thai dishes I have ever had.

Diner Review №71

Great food and a great place for a nice night out. They have some seats that are better than others but I've enjoyed it every time I have gone.

Diner Review №72

A Tacoma staple and one of my favorites restaurants in the area. Russel is so kind and always takes good care of regulars. Their food is spectacular and drink are 🤌 Ideal spot for a date night or girls night out!

I was amazed walking in! Beautiful atmosphere. The staff was quick and thoughtful, the orange chicken and pistachio ice cream were my favorite orders

Diner Review №77

The best thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It's beautiful, unique and romantic! We sat at the bar area. Next time, I would like to be by the water on the other side. Food and drink were average. I could barely taste the flavor of mango in the mango fried rice. They use frozen vegetables (peas and carrots). Pad Thai was good and had a bit of a kick to it. Overall, the food is good but nothing unique or exceptional. Seems pricey for the quality and taste of the food. I'd be willing to go back to enjoy the atmosphere.

First, I reached out via email to the management about the situation below, no response, not even an acknowledgment. So I thought it best redact the offending parties name for privacy, but left in the name of the only positive person from our visit.

This is the second time we had M**** as our server. M**** seems to be a very nice person, but is not engaged, nor interested in taking care of your customers, she barley spent any time tending to us this evening, we went most of our visit without having her check on us, provide refills on water or our drinks. She spent a lot of time at the front of the restaurant on her phone. She walked by us a few times and didn't bother to notice that we needed more to drink or that there was an issue with one of our entrees. If this had been our first interaction with M****, we would have chalked it up to her having an off night. Our first time with M**** (a few months ago) she spent most of our visit outside vaping and being on the phone, with the same level of service provided. M**** needs some guidance and attention, so that she could be a better advocate for your business, if not she will continue to be a liability and cause customers not to return.

I want to leave you with a positive feeling that Aluna (apologies if I spelled it incorrrectly), noticed our needs and visited us twice, once to provided much needed water, and again when we waited a long time for M**** to settle our bill. She was very attentive to us even though she was busy with her own tables and duties. Bravo to her.

Diner Review №90

I had been to this restaurant over 10 years ago and it was fine then. I went this evening for dinner and the place is clean and looks great.

There was confusion with who was waiting our table, as we were asked by our waitress for our drink and appetizer order, but then asked again by someone different a few minutes later and gave them our dinner order.

I ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls with shrimp and for dinner the Basil Curry Seafood. The Fresh Spring Rolls came with two large rolls that were each cut in half and serves with the garlic chili sauce with peanuts. The roll tasted okay, but the shrimp almost looked like it was not completely cooked. The waitress asked if we would like peanut sauce for the rolls and we said yes. The sauce provided was not peanut sauce, but rather a warm curry like sauce without peanuts. It tasted okay, but did not really go with fresh spring rolls. Our dinner was delivered by a different person who came straight from the kitchen. He just set the food down and said here is this one and here is the other one. My sister and I had to investigate to find which curry was who's since did not even say which one was what. Also, the curry did not include rice. We did not realize rice must be ordered separate and the waiter did not mention it either. The waitress was kind enough to get an order of rice for us rather quickly though once we realized this. The curry was underwhelming in my opinion. Five minutes in, both my sister's and my stomach was hurting pretty bad, so we decided to get the check and go.

Diner Review №91

The fresh rolls were incredibly bland and the cabbage/carrot pieces were served on the side of the rolls instead of wrapped inside them for some reason. The orange chicken doesn’t come with rice and didn’t taste like much which is a bit painful for twenty dollars.

I'm allergic to ginger in which lots of their food/drinks had, but it's a great place/vibe

Diner Review №107

I've never been disappointed by the food here. The Asian fusion food is always good though not necessarily great. The atmosphere feels more high end and stuffy than it should - at least to me. On our last visit the dining room was very dark, if not for candles on a few tables - not all tables, ours did not - it would have only been lit by the street. Our waiter was wearing a hoodie, which is fine if that's part of their aesthetic but given the rest of the atmosphere it felt like he was quite under dressed. But even with these things, my wife and I had an enjoyable dinner with good food and drinks.

Update 8/2023
Went on a busy night and our waitress was the epitome of graciousness and poise. Food was slow coming out, but it was busy so that's understandable. They did comp some of our check due to the slowness. Front of house was great. Food was excellent.

Diner Review №108

Appetizers were amazing 👏

Diner Review №109

Great spot, great service, and even better food.

Diner Review №110

I used to love their Pad Thai...I picked some up tonight for the first time in months. I've been away helping a sick relative. I was so excited to get this home to eat. HUGE disappointment. Kinda dry noodle pile. No nuts, scallions, cilantro or egg. Safeway has better in their fresh prepared dinners! AND the prices have gone up. Pathetic guys. Was this a fluke? Not with it tonight, that's for sure. Live on an island. This was a treat...well, it SHOULD'VE been.

Diner Review №111

Update as of 28 July 2023: Still fantastic as always.

Best Asian fusion restaurant ever! Food is cooked perfectly with the right Regional emphasis whether it's Thai or Chinese. Definitely recommend the orange chicken and Pad Thai. Expensive but worth the price

This is my second time visiting Indochine. My wife and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and I wanted her to have a great time. She loved the food, service, and atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon!

Diner Review №118

The service and atmosphere were stellar… however, I was less impressed with the food. On the positive they have large serving sizes

Diner Review №119

This place used to be really good. Now I find their descriptions of dishes to not be accurate and the taste to be average - at best. Plus, it didn’t help that our male waiter was horrible and pretty much left our table without coming back. We had to flag another lady that actually helped us. I don’t think I am coming back!

0 stars. Waited 40 minutes on a slow day. Multiple guests dined/ ordered take out and left but our order had not been started. The hostess was visibly embarrassed and kept apologizing also not understanding why our order was taking long. Can’t say it was for sure because of race but that was our overall feeling.

Diner Review №128

We've ate here 20 times not in the last year lettuce wraps back on menu my wife's favorite she actually requested them when they were off the menu for awhile absolutely terrible and the lettuce was bottom part so they were so small you couldn't even do a wrap I had my favorite drunken noodles no flavor both meals came on salad sized plates the fried spring rolls were absolutely excellent best in town as usual I have no idea what happened. Looks like we'll just drop in for a drink Gelato and spring rolls from now on service was fine

Diner Review №135

The Dancing Buddha is always so crispy and delicious. They got rid of the Curry Empanada Puffs which were a family favorite, but the Caribbean Spiced Beef Empanadas were good and flavorful.

Diner Review №136

The food was great! Service was not great. Waited on takeout, after dinner; it took nearly an hour.

Diner Review №137

I dined in on a Thursday evening. The beverages were served quick and the appetizers came out within 10 minutes of ordering them (the wings were delicious). Got our food before we finished our appetizers. The inside is well decorated and doesn't feel claustrophobic.

Diner Review №138

Visited this location twice, once on a weekend and once on a Thursday evening. They can get quite busy on weekends so the service was better during the weekday when it's not so hectic. I tried the drunken noodles and the spicy eggplant; their dishes tend to be too salty for me and I couldn't finish most of the noodles. The other people in our party ordered salads; they seemed to enjoy the meal. The ambiance was nice though. 5 stars for ambiance, 3 stars for the food.

Diner Review №141

Diner Review №142

Cool atmosphere. Great food. A bit pricey. A seagull wanted me to share my rice with him.

Diner Review №143

Great service, great food w/ GF offerings, and amazing cocktails.

Diner Review №144

The interior is very pretty and looks upscale but the food is crazy disappointing. We had a big group so we ordered a bunch of different stuff- and most of them were bad. Either undercooked, way too sour, way too salty, or too bland. Stuff just doesn’t taste like what it should taste like. It’s like they read the description of each dish and guessed what it should taste like. Or they just decided to make up a new version of each dish… and not a good one. I don’t understand how they could serve this stuff and charge so much.

Other than the long wait at the beginning, service wasn’t bad. They were constantly refilling our waters and asking if we needed anything (but we were there for a group gathering where it wasn’t going to be polite to complain about the food. I only found out others felt exactly the same way about the food a long while into dinner with lowered voices.)

Diner Review №145

As someone who actually has eaten a lot of Thai and lao food... this food is not very good. Most of the dishes were too salty and lacking the proper flavors. This place is definitely not orientated to those who like southeast Asian cuisine or are actually southeast Asian.

Service was okay but very disorganized.

Diner Review №148

Great food and service! The interior ambience is also fantastic. Highly recommended for a date night!!!

Diner Review №149

Food and staff are fantastic. The drinks menu is also really tasty and has reasonably priced items. My only critique would be that the tables are tiny, and the music is really quite loud. The muisc was to my taste, but it was at a volume that made it difficult to hear the person sitting across from me at the tiny table.

The staff was friendly we didn’t get our drinks refilled but we had water so we didn’t go thirsty.
We got chicken fried rice, potstickers and orange chicken those were good. The Mongolian beef was too salty to eat.
I asked for mild chicken panang curry but it was way too spicy for me, the raspberry and caramel gelato was yummy. The restaurant was clean and my boys enjoyed the indoor pond

This place was fantastic the last time we were there in 2015. Awesome food, great service, beautiful atmosphere.

This is one of the best restaurants in western Washington.

Recently, went to The Indochine with a few of my friends and let me tell you, the place was rocking a serious vibe. But hold up, the menu had a little surprise for me - a glass of wine for the low, low price of 16 bucks. Yikes. I decided to play it safe and went for a cocktail instead, because who needs wine when you've got a fancy drink in your hand? The food was, well, it was food. Nothing to write home about, but it didn't try to kill me either. So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a good time with a side of overpriced wine, The Indochine is your spot. But if you want to impress your taste buds, you might want to look elsewhere.

It was delicious and always delightful to have dinner here. Everything is very excellent, very pleasant!

Diner Review №164

This is my top pick for Asian fusion in Tacoma!

Diner Review №165

Indochine is my very favorite restaurant regarding atmosphere and the sheer beauty of this space. Beautiful wood is everywhere, a small bridge, a water feature, a tent for your birthday parties (floor cushions) and a cozy little bar. The food at Indochine is very good and don't forget to try the pot stickers!! They rock. They offer heat from 1 to 5 stars, add a star or two to get it in the right ballpark. Potstickers, 2 dinners and 2 drinks just under $100.00 I wish I had taken pictures for you, it's really something. Go see.

This place was great. The food was fantastic, and our server was attentive with great suggestions on what to eat, and what paired well together.

Seating can get a little tight if you have a big party. The lighting in the back was a bit dim, we had to pull out our phone flashlights to properly see the menu, not a big deal but something to note if you're eyes aren't great to begin with.

Diner Review №167

We were excited to go to what we thought would be an extraordinary night out. While the food and atmosphere meet our expectations, the service did not! Our server had obviously not been properly trained. He was very nice, but wasn't familiar with the food. When we asked about wine, he told us they had red & white. One of our group ask what were their choice of Bourbons? Our server left for the bar and returned :10 later, only to say we have several. The whole night went on like this. It was a comedy of errors & mistakes.
I don't usually do reviews like this but, when you spend $300 for four people it doesn't happen often. I wouldn't say don't go. I would say, if your server isn't what you expect, ask the manager for someone else early on.

our waiter was very engaging, food was plentiful and 🍸 cocktail blood orange and pomegranate margarita excellent.

Diner Review №171

Perfect spot for a fancy dinner. Food isn't exactly kid friendly though as it was a bit spicy and no actual "kid" options

Diner Review №172

Fabulous atmosphere and beautifully delicious food

Celebrated my cousins bday there. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and fast serving. I would go back.

Diner Review №174

First time. Sweetheart waitress. Best food ever an amazing atmosphere. Great birthday dinner.

Diner Review №175

Very friendly and quick service. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. The food was delicious!

Diner Review №176

I love theirs fudge chocolate torte desert. Walnut shrimp are excellent and the best fresh rolls in town. Seating in the big sunken table is hard for the ladies in skirts and hard on everyone’s lower backs, skip this seating. Staff feels a bit stressed and drink refill can be a wait. A little pushy on explaining where to insert tips, but bill came quickly. It’s a great atmosphere and excellent food. Staffing is why I skipped the fifth star.

I have coming to Indochine since 2012. I usually have friends from Seattle meet here for cocktails and dinner, which was a great experience each time.

On 1/7/2023, the staff Heather and the bartender were very unprofessional and lack customer service skills. There was 4 other ladies in my party - we sat at a table in the bar area where Heather and the bartender were not warm and inviting but rather rude and unprofessional.

When we were first greeted by Heather, she made it clear the restaurant was busy and that there was only one bartender who did not have the time to make any speciality drinks. Heather did not offer any other recommendations for cocktails, but was rather short and unwelcoming towards us. I was not happy with how she was towards us and made that very clear to her that I was disappointed.

We ended up staying as we had other people meeting us at the restaurant. The entire evening Heather was openly talking about my party with other staff members as a few of the ladies overheard her.

Now moving on to the bartender - first, let me say we loved all the bartenders who worked here in the past. However, the bartender this evening was not friendly at all and we will not come back if she is working. When trying to order a drink at the bar, the bartender said she didn’t have all the ingredients to make the drink from menu so we asked what did she have and her response was she has a full bar and walked away.

The food was good like alway. The atmosphere in the bar is nice minus the staff Heather and the bartender.

READ REVIEWS/NOT THE STAR RATINGS
Definitely should've read the reviews ahead of time...I had dinner here recently and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. I had ordered the Honey Walnut Prawns which not good and definitely not worth the price...i did love the atmosphere there and our waiter was really nice and attentive. I can see potential in this restaurant, but they definitely need to make some changes in their menu if this continues to be an "asian-fusion" restaurant or just change it completely.

Beautiful inside! The service was wonderful and the food was very good!!

Diner Review №193

Soooo good!! We love this place so much

Diner Review №194

This place was stunning inside, I was really blown away, it's unique with a cute atmosphere, really date friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was phenomenal, 10/10 would recommend, you can bring kids but I wouldn't really do that, it's a very intimate setting.

Diner Review №195

Food and service were great. Appetizers-calamari & pot stickers. For dinner had spicy cashew chicken. Would definitely go again next time in town.

Diner Review №196

B day dinner Oct. 22, 2022. I was impressed with the interior of Indocine but that s where it stopped.Over priced, bland flavorless food with minimal effort made seasoning and quality. My fried rice was made with frozen peas and carrots that tasted like the freezer. The drinks were on consistent in quality and flavor for what was supposed to be crafted mixed drinks. Most tasted like artificial syrup. This restaurant is charging for its beautiful themed setting and relying on garnishes ti draw patrons. The menu and needs to be tightened up it's not fusion its all over the place. They need to focus on quality ingredients, seasoning, and presentation on the food and craft drinks and at that time they can charge the prices they currently charge. I don't write reviews but because this place has such a beautiful setting I hope the owners really take this as honest feed back. I would love to revisit and have a delectable culinary experience.

My family of 4 reserve for my birthday celebration , Saturday October 29, 2022... The food is a TOTAL DISASTER !!!
TOO SALTY .. It is just kinda late for all of us to look for another place to eat ... It is so bad .. The drunken noodles is the WORSE !!
The ADOBO is not even close to the Filipino ADOBO
The presentation is not bad but the serven knows we were not happy cause we hardly touch the food 🤣🤣🤣we did not even took anything
If you have any other place you can go ...please do

Diner Review №199

The staff are very unprofessional - as I sat at the bar they openly made fun of guests sitting at tables and imitating them loud enough for the entire bar to hear over the music.
Ordered the Drunken Noodles: minced beef? With chopped up wide noodles with way too much sauce and salt. It was almost like they put the noodles and beef in the blender on “chop” function on accident. Would not recommend this dish - yuck!! Thai ice tea had whip cream on top - double gross!
Atmosphere is nice and intimate. There is always seating at the bar. Place is pretty dead so it is always quiet. But will never come back. Head up the street to Thai Pepper where the food is actually what you order.
