An elegant, locally owned Thai and Asian restaurant that proudly provides the very best in healthy, authentic Thai and Asian cuisine along with top-notch customer service in a one-of-a-kind beautiful and cultural setting
Food lacked flavor (and spice even though we asked for a level 4 out of 5) this was 4 different meals! Water was empty the entire time we were eating. Our waitress walked by at least a half dozen times without even looking at us. The portions were generous and their Thai tea is amazing. We won’t be coming back anytime soon.
I have Celiac disease and I am also allergic to dairy so going out can be a challenge, but I was amazed that almost every item is gluten free and dairy free!!
They even prepared my food in a separate spot to make sure I didn't get sick!!
The food was amazing and SO delicious!! I never hoped I could be able to have food this good again! I can't wait to go back!
One of my favorite and go-to places in Spokane.
I have basically never had a negative experience here, and while not every dish was my favorite - there is a wide selection of good quality dishes.
Has some of the best samosas I have ever had.
The loyalty program is great, but often staff forgets to ask of you are enrolled and meals can be missed.
Very accommodating to vegan diets and have some great dishes for us weirdos.
My only criticism, is that lettuce is sometimes wet, having been clearly just washed prior to serving. This causes sauces to run right off the lettuce.
1st impression when you walk in here is the extensive décor. It is everywhere. They have clearly designed this restaurant to be Thai through and through.
Food was okay, not great. I tried their black rice dessert which was tasty. Presentation of my dinner was pretty blah. The menu is huge, too large in my opinion. This is usually a sign they they don't do much of it well as they can't specialize and focus on the important components of meal prep. You get choice over quality.
Used to be amazing with its portions. It is more expensive than every other Thai place in the area the flavor is great. Unfortunately paying $25 for a single entree after tax and before tip for a tiny amount of food doesn't cut it anymore.
Great detail inside with decor and theme. Very beautiful and fun feeling just being there. The Tiki coconut lounge looked super awesome and fun. The food was great, large servings, and quality ingredients used were obvious. Highly recommend. Definitely coming back to enjoy the lounge 😃

Great food and generous servings. My go to place for DF and GF food in Spokane.
Always very friendly - even when I’m just picking up a take out order. It’s also so fun to dine-in because of the restaurant’s atmosphere! Beautifully decorated!!
We ordered this place for delivery to our hotel before an early flight. The noodle dishes came with 2-3 huge noodles stuck together. The meals lacked flavor. There were no utensils or napkins included. The meals were packed in boxes that collapsed on themselves and leaked everywhere. For over $25 per menu item ordered plus taxes/fees, we paid $150 for a crappy meal and a huge mess.

The drunken noodles here are great. Our server was attentive to our order and our needs, while recognizing we were having a business meeting and not interrupting.
The service here and food was excellent!
The food is delicious, but it seems the prices have gone up quite a bit, and their portions looked smaller. Even so, the food is tasty, and we love getting take out here.

American Thai food, not authentic Thai flavors. Coming from a Thai lady, please just go to Kunis, Phontip style or taste of Thai.
great staff, excellent food, and the ambience is really chill
They're always really fast with the food and the price is decent and they're never crowded and did I say the food was excellent?
It's always a sure thing at Thai Bamboo. Always delicious and fresh!

Always delicious and such a beautiful restaurant. We enjoyed seeing the TV screen showing Thailand through multiple pictures . The waitress was lacking , but everything else was wonderful 👍
I came with friends for a birthday celebration- excellent food, the waitress was great - very tuned in and attentive. Great day!
Head to the Northside one! Food is not the same at this location sent fried rice back for being extremely spicy hot and made with hamburger, same menu item totally different dish at Northside branch. Cooks should train on Division before being allowed to cook at this branch
Love love love
Absolutely love the food here and the service was great
Couldn’t give negative stars.
Not real thai food, American thai food.
Ordered the teriyaki bowl. So much teriyaki sauce it was soup.
Excellent food choices and this location may be cleaner than the Division location. I'm just saying. 🤷🏽♂️
Amazing food and even better service! Nice treat after landing in Spokane from out of town.
Visited with a huge group in a private room. The service couldn't have been better and the food was spectacular. The dark red curry with black and brown rice was an experience. The decor, lighting, and atmosphere is like being dropped in a museum in Thailand!
I ate the dark red curry with chicken on Sunday, got violently ill with food poisoning and did not sleep Sunday night.
I ate about half of my meal before getting a bad stomach ache and boxed the rest of my meal up. My girlfriend unknowingly ate my curry and she got sick afterwards as well.
About 6 or 7 years ago I went to Thai Bamboo on division and my entire family got sick, my ex wife myself and all 3 kids due to food poisoning.
Apparently somethings don't change.
I ordered Togo from here for the first time and it seems like they do not provide quality food to the orders. The phad Thai noodles were at least an hour old and crunchy/ chewy from sitting out. The rice was also left out of all of my entrees. I called to let them know and my options were to come back and pick it up or get my side of rice next time I come in. I live 20 minutes away I am not wasting more gas for rice that should’ve been put in my order and I will not need a side of rice with my entree next time because it already comes with rice. Now I have to eat curry with no rice and it’s gross and not even a meal. I am not happy with how they thought they were resolving an issue that was their fault.
Thai garlic delight is amazing!!! It is fun to gaze up at the stars while you eat. 🤩
Been here on a few separate occasions, this time the food was sub par, I got the Thai teriyaki with beef. The sauce was ok, the noodles were on the soggy side, but the beef was chewy. It definitely felt like skirt steak with the bubble gum chewing. I barley had any vegetables. If I was to guess the actual price on the plate it would be 4$ of food cost. So being charged 20$ didn't feel like I got my monies worth. Server was great, no issues at all with the service. Just highly disappointed in the food.
I think I was served food from the day before. That pad Thai noodles are so stale and dry and crunchy my teeth hurt from trying to chew my food. Totally bad and unacceptable
Just ordered out and it was prompt and delicious. Definitely come back and dine in. Dark red curry and crab fried rice were great.
Oh this was a surprise. Food was great. Service was outstanding 👏
Great shrimp pad thai, very friendly !
Pad Thai noodles were chewy and I’m talking crunchy
My boys and I pulled in literally no one in the joint. Get to the lounge and we're happy cashed up from a weekend at quest casino. First word is drinks our waitress was not feeling it and just decided to care nothing for customer service. Only coming when had too heard her talking bad on us to her bartender! I would 0 star her if I could...
Food was great temp and nailed the spice level. Thank you for the nice evening.
My favorite restaurant in Spokane. My go-to is Golden Cashew Nut, but everything is great. I often want to get something different but I rarely go through with it because I love that dish so much. My husband refers to my cravings as experiencing a Thai Bamboo deficiency 😆. I preferred the more natural aesthetic of the previous location on 29th Ave., but I know people whose kids love the starry ceiling. The Coconut Lounge vibe is fun, I love the velvet art; it’s a good place to go with friends after work.
Not sure what happened to this place. Used to be one of our favorites. We ordered 4 different dishes and each was the same: protein, vegetables and soy sauce. The garlic delight was ordered with chicken and there was no garlic to taste, we ordered al with three stars, there was no spice. Al meals tastes the same, soy sauce. Now, all four of us have stomach issues.
Very sad what this place has become. I remember their garlic chicken being amazing. Off the menu now.
Not a fan of the lighting.
Great food and Atmosphere. Beautiful building. Take your out of town vistors to this place. Very impressive.
Really wish they would open/reopen a new spot closer to the Valley!
This was my first time at the south hill location and it was just as amazing as the north side. I always love eating here as someone with a gluten allergy. Cannot recommend enough!
Love the atmosphere
I love Thai bamboo. I think the South Hill location is the best one. I appreciate that the food is consistently delicious and the portions are generous, allowing for yummy leftovers! Kudos to the amazing crew!
One of my favorite places to eat in Spokane. Whatever location you’re at, the food is always consistent
We love Thai Bamboo! The food is delicious, service is great, and such a fun atmosphere. We are so glad we have one on the hill!
First time going for the prices wasn't impressed paid $56 including a tip for appetizer platter and a main - appetizer $20.99 plus tax was very over cooked didn't eat most of because of that , main was ok but chicken was also overcooked sauces and veggies were good but whoever is cooking with oil needs to either turn it down or pay attention definitely not worth the price that was paid
Food was awesome. Love the ambience 😍
Tasty, but I ordered (and paid for) extra vegetables in the drunken noodle, but there was hardly one serving of vegetables, let alone two. The address of where I'm staying gives GPS a hard time, so I put specific instructions in the order to call me from a certain gate, and that was ignored, and I had to wander in the cold for a few minutes to find the driver.
The waitress Baily was extremely kind, insightful and efficient. Our food was delicious!
Always delicious 🤤
Never disappointed! The food & service is always on point! 👌🏼👌🏼
The food and atmosphere were great, but the real reason I’m leaving a review was because of the service. We had Malika, and I can think of very few times the server has made the night like she did. She was so genial and funny. I wish there was a way to convey to her how special she made an already great meal.
Always great food,staff and service;)
What a wonderful experience. Thai Bamboo is extraordinarily fluent in the culinary love language that is Thai food. The staff have adopted the culture of the Thai people, honoring their guests with respectful and friendly service. A truly excellent taste and experience of Thailand cuisine.
This place is awesome! The food was excellent, the service was great!!! I give this place high marks!! They had this celantro sauce that was fantastic! Killer orange chicken, and garlic shrimp!! Excellent place!!!
Best Thai in town! Love our south hill Thai Bamboo.❤️
Very friendly and yummy
Spokane is in need of signature menu items. Thai Bamboo proudly serves perfectly standard dishes that are safe, nothing "too spicy," nothing unique.
Liked it, but won't go back just because it's just like Starbucks or Olive Garden...perfectly standard.
Thai bamboo is delicious, and service is wonderful! I would highly recommend both their pad Thai and fried rice. You won’t regret going here!
Ordered delivery for the Mongolian beef, tangy orange chicken and shrimp fried rice. Roughly spent between $60-$100. I was waffling to do it but after a long day and work week, I said, "whatever."
All the entrées were really tasteful and fresh however my dissatisfaction comes with the portion of this wonderful tasting food received. If the prices of the food is at an increase, then the quantity of food received should be increased as well. Make my dollars stretch more and feed me please. I was not just ordering for myself, but for my household as well.
One suggestion that I have for all restaurants is to start putting a serving size next to the dish so we know whether it will accommodate whom we are trying to feed, especially on menu items that are not so obvious to dictate.
The photos I posted, sorry, I dug in a little before taking the photos, cause I was hungry. The food was already messed over a bit but the portion received was about accurate with the orange chicken.
1st time there. Fast and friendly service. Stopped in for lunch. They have lunch specials
Always quick service and good food.
Went in for a appetizer and glass of wine and a take out order. This took an hour and a half. Food was good. I had the chicken Osaka Service very slow. Recommend calling ahead if you want take out and don't plan on spending an hour and half in the bar.
Love the food
Got the pineapple curry. Portions were enough for two people. Got the lowest level spicy and was a bit too much for me personally but it was still good and flavorful.
Staff was great , restaurant was clean and pretty
Exactly what I wanted!
Always a beautiful place to eat!! The power went out while we were there and they didn’t charge us for our lunch.. I will be back to pay up when we get a chance:) they are amazing
We love it here!
Order to go.
Wonderful food! Lettuce wraps are da bomb!
Love this place. Great food. Highly recommend
Great experience food and staff were awesome
I absolutely love the pad thai from here but tonight they messed up with the spiciness. I ordered two chicken pad thai one was a 2star the other a 3star, I've ordered this dish at least a dozen times and it's never been so spicy. Pretty upset because I payed $53 and was looking forward to having leftovers tomorrow but I can hardly eat it. Luckily it's not a complete waste because my boyfriend didn't mind the spiciness. This location was also out of fortune cookies, they normally have the best fortune cookies!
Great selection of Thai food. Very tasty. Lots of spice.
I've always enjoyed their food, but this time it was just okay. We ordered delivery via a delivery service and an entire order was omitted. Of course, it wasn't the restaurant's fault, even though the bags were stapled shut. So, is the delivery service supposed to rip open the bags to verify the order? But, we were told by the restaurant that that would indicate that the driver could have taken something...hmmmmm..... So, we paid for something that wasn't received, but it is totally not the responsibility of the restaurant that prepared the order. I'm flummoxed. Anyway, buyer beware.
Amazing food, great people!!
There attentiveness to customers waiting needs improvement
We’ve driven by here a couple times and finally decided to stop. Service was slow but fine. Food wasn’t great and had a weird aftertaste. Portions were decent sized. Not somewhere we would go back to.
We're frequent "eaters" and always quality food and super service! I'd tell you to go eat there but they're already busy:)
I'll never go back honestly it's like they just want to rush and get you in and get you out in for a place and has like I don't know like 20 pages on their menu and you don't know what 90% of it is a while just to even see what you're going to order because you're going to at least pay no less than $15 $20 for your mail and lunch so yeah service it's okay but can't understand any other waitresses and I'm not being ugly here and yeah if I was to go back to its high bamboo it probably with the one in Coeur d'Alene Idaho
Wonderful place to grab a bite. Staff was wonderful
1st was the temperature inside the place was insanely hot , this was in July 2023 . 2nd having 1 paper napkin was epic , the food subpar , the service sucked , mind you the restaurant wasn't close to half capacity, and don't ever ask for water . Never again
Best Thai Food in Spokane.
Good food good atmosphere a little bit pricey a little bit bland but a good selection a good selection
Great food
Our waitress, Leo, had excellent food recommendation that were delicious. He was also helped me choose the best dish for me since I have several food allergies. We would come again!
Great food, great service, great experience. The 1 year-old enjoyed his kids menu item, as well as my 4 year-old.
It was great but the one problem they got the order wrong. Then they were cool made the order again for free but they got it wrong again twice I don’t see how they would get it wrong again when they remade it like I told them what I wanted and they repeated the order on the receipt and it was right when they said it but it was wrong when they remade it. Wow I am done with going out to eat all together. I’ll just eat at home from now on especially when it was my anniversary.
We have visited this restaurant several times now and every time enjoy it so much. The service is excellent. The atmosphere and music has been so relaxing! Today I tried the coconut ice cream! It was awesome. My husband had the mango with sticky rice! Both tasted great! Our meal selections were delicious as well! They have so many choices to pick from and enjoy. We will keep coming back!
I came in here with a friend and our server Aster was absolutely out of this world amazing. She was very friendly, attentive to our table, and was quickly brought us anything we needed! Food was fantastic, will definitely return
Great food, good vegetarian options.
Went there twice for lunch and left disappointed both times. The prices are high, the Phad Thai is some of the worst I’ve ever had, noodles undercooked, way too much sauce. Portions are off, my friend and I ordered the same thing with a different protein, I barely had any vegetables, and again there was way too much brown sauce. I will never go back, there are far too many choices in Spokane.
The chicken curry fried rice was amazing 👏
Always friendly service and the quality and amount of food your revive woth each meal is incredible ; like none other I have ever experienced. They have a seperate lounge from the resteraunt and free parking available with a large parking lot to accomadate many. Very fun, friendly, family atmosphere.
The customers service was poor and the food was bland. If you like minimal flavor, this is the perfect Thai Restaurant for you. The meal required a substantial amount of soy sauce to add flavor. Perfect for people who are on a low sodium diet.
Our new favorite restaurant.,
Ordered delivered food. An entire meal was missing from order, asked to withold things child allergic to but still on food, food disgustingly cold. They refused refund.
The light-changing ceiling gave me a migraine lol but the food and service made it worthwhile! Lol
Great food an service
Good place
Nice menu with lots of choices. Everyone liked what they ordered. The decor is great - love the carvings and ceiling. Jarred was a great server too. Good job guys.
1st impression when you walk in here is the extensive décor. It is everywhere. They have clearly designed this restaurant to be Thai through and through.

Healthy dishes, love the veggies and flavor. My favorite is Thai Super Bowl with black/ brown rice
Best Thai food!
T Terrible customer service we called ahead to make sure they allowed dogs we were sure they were allowed outside on the podio. Upon arriving it took nearly fifteen minutes for a server to arrive not offer water to the dogs and And then only after we ordered asked us to leave after 30 min there. They did offer to wrap our food to go without a discount for the time wasted. Terrible management 😪
Worth it
Delicious food
Food is good when they have it. DO NOT pay them in advance via online order as they have no ability to refund you. Ordered online and then began driving from afar. They called while mobile, which I missed due to phone settings not allowing. Arrived to find they hadn’t started the order as they didn’t have the ingredients, which I’m fine with as it happens. I didn’t wanna wait there in the lobby for over half hour, so I asked for refund. They didn’t even know how and said there was no manager, but tried and gave a bogus “comp” slip with an incorrect amount. Decided to try the next day when there was a manager on site. Upon opening, still none and they assured us one will call at 1pm, so okay. Never called and never refunded me. Had to file a dispute with the bank. Very unprofessional business practices, but the hostess was nice through it all. Do not pre-pay them, period.
Definitely some of the best Thai food on the South Hill! Highly recommend!
Love the ambiance!! And the service was great :)
Great service, great food, always eat in the bar
They got my order wrong. Made the wrong dish hot while the other no heat at all. Portions were wrong. I ordered a large sticky rice and it was small. Disappointing.
Ordered lunch takeout. Chicken tasted like fish. Vegetables weren't fresh. Extremely disappointed
Such a great place, beautiful decor and Great hospitality, amazing flavors. Thank you
Fantastic taste! great service. Always a freaking pleasure.
Great meal, great service, fun atmosphere. My husband had the Mongolian Beef, our friend had the China Town bento box, and I had the Crab fried rice. We shared the pot stickers. All the food was wonderful. We tried the Phucket Punch and Huckleberry Cosmos cocktails and the Thai iced tea. All super yummy!
Compared to the rest of the Thai places in town, this is the best, the one off of Sprague is good to. Not too bad with price either. I've been to a ton of thai places and this one is good.
My favorite restaurant...yum❣️
Mediocre food and service. Not a good value.
Some of the best food you can find in Spokane. My wife and I love it! Favorite meals are the yellow curry and their Pad Thai. So good!!!!
I ordered Pad Kee Mow and got dead noodles in a stewed tortilini with a spice level 5 times more than what I ordered ..a 0. But it is like -wet, chunky and acidic. Like vomit I guess. And more like 10 times the price of what I would pay for any vomit.
The food and drinks are delicious.
Didn't know what I was missing out on with Thai Curry.
Love þhis place. Highly recommend. I definitely will be coming back
Amazing food and service. The menu is so extensive! I love their loyalty program too!
Excellent meal, great atmosphere and wonderful service!
The food was amazing! Very delicious and the service was great! Will definitely be back!
Best Thai food in Spokane! The Drunken Noodles are my favorite.
Simply the best place to bring family!!
Was not crowded and ambiance was nice. Friendly staff, they took good care of us 🙂. Food was delicious and huge servings.
We had our family Christmas lunch for 22 people this past Sunday. Josh was our organizer and waiter and did a fabulous job. The food was wonderful. Josh was such a treat….fun attitude, very accommodating and a real joy to have in the banquet room with our family! He took the time to interact with all of us and took pictures for us as well. We enjoy Thai Bamboo throughout the year. We are definitely planning any future family gatherings to take place here. We all enjoyed it immensely! Very kid friendly too!
The food is excellent, and they list all of the ingredients in each dish, which is a huge plus if you have allergies. My wife is allergic to sesame seeds, so this is one of the few Asian restaurants we're able to eat at. They also can make any dish extra spicy, which I love. The atmosphere in the dining area is super cool, especially the ceiling. Our server, Josh, was incredible as well. Super nice and super attentive.
Great service and food 🥘
This Thai Bamboo is amazing! The food is delicious and the decorations are lovely. My server Bela was super helpful with understanding the menu and she was super nice and respectful.
This is the place to go for a delicious, spicy dinner. We are always happy with our selections and service. The bartender is fantastic.
Best In Town
Great service, caters to gluten free.
My mother got the name wrong, so showing up here was a surprise, but definitely a welcome one! We had a great lunch together, the food was great and we got it ten minutes faster than had been estimated, even! I only ate half so I could have it again later today! So yummy.
