They may have moved locations but they are not new to the Spokane Food Scene, their cuisine reflects that! The Song Lan Thai Restaurant is a Small local business is family owned & operated. I was heart broken when they closed their northside location & I missed having them so close but relieved they are still in Spokane to get my fix when needed. Finally made it into their new location. The food is mouth watering & the service is beyond spectacular. I’ve always ordered my favorite Stir-Fry Pad See Ew. I always skip the carrots, so usually that is included in the dish. It was just as I remembered. The fried spring rolls were cooked to crispy perfection. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
Probably the best Thai food in Spokane Valley! They relocated here last year and I'm grateful to have found them. They have some of the best prices in Spokane for a big plate full of fresh, well-seasoned and spiced food. The menu is slightly smaller than some other restaurants but feels much more flavorful. There's a lot of love put into these dishes and you can taste it. Staff are friendly, prompt, and follow up throughout the meal to make sure it meets expectations. This is my go-to spot when I crave freshness at a great price!
Used to drive all the way up to Maw Phin (on Highway 2). So thankful they’re closer now (with a new name).
Tonight I picked up garlic shrimp (extra shrimp) over broccoli (instead of carrots and celery) at Song Lan Thai in the Spokane Valley. Other than the tails still on the shrimp…it looks absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to dig in!
Ahhh! I'm so excited that I found a reasonably priced but absolutely delicious thai restaurant.
The Tom Kha soup was creamy and soooo flavorful. The chicken in it was soft and not dry. The enoki mushrooms were an amazing quality surprise.
Pad see ew was perfect. The veggies were crunchy, noodles were soft but chewy. I can't wait for come back to try everything else. I'm happy that their menu is simple without mixing different asian cuisines. That is authentic Thai food.
Angela was kind and very attentive. I'll be back for sure!
We’ve been to Thailand several times and the food here at Song Lan is authentic! The food is flavorful, the restaurant clean and the server was so friendly and kept on top of things.
We ordered the chicken Panang curry and Beef with vegetables. Both were excellent. Beef was tender as was the chicken.
We will definitely be returning!
Went here for the first time after a recommendation from my son. Fairly small intimate place and pretty full for a Wednesday night, but also noticed they have quite a takeout crowd while we were there. I had their pineapple chicken curry and my wife had their thai style fried rice with chicken and we shared a little of each. The curry was very good made with coconut milk with chunks of pineapple in it along with the chicken. The fried rice had the typical eggs, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and broccoli with slices of cucumber on the side and was very tasty. Since I was sharing with my wife, we went for a 2 out of 4 spice level which was good, but I probably would have went for a 3 myself.
Yellow curry is always my go to order, so flavorful and fresh. The veggie spring rolls are so good as well, this place is my favorite Thai restaurant in Spokane and i’m so glad we found it. I’ve also had their wonton soup which is also very good and the seasonal pumpkin curry was fantastic.
Great food, I had the Pad see ew with tofu and it was amazing! Reasonable prices. It's hard to find good tasting Thai food in the valley. When I went they only had one server so you might have to wait a bit longer, but the staff is friendly. Limited seating, but overall a great place.
The food was delicious and the service was great. Such sweet people!
Excellent meal, everything we had was fresh, abundant, and clean. Found my new favorite Thai place!
Chicken Pad Thai was dry
Ordered pork egg rolls and was given veggie rolls.
Tried 3 different appetizers and all 3 get a five star. Some of the best we have tried.
Local family owned restaurant with a great staff. Angela is very professional and delightful.

I have been enjoying and cooking Thai food for decades before it was well known; so I am a self-titled, Thai food snob. I was skeptical to try a new Thai restaurant as all but 1 (previously) are just not good in our area; however Song Lan Thai did not disappoint! Finally, there are now 2 Thai restaurants in the Spok, CDA area to enjoy! Thai Kitchen may be the best Thai food in the country and now Song Lan Thai may be up there. I am excited to try the entire menu over time as I have only tried 2 dishes thus far. The Garlic Shrimp was the best I have had and the shrimp was fresh! The perfect balance of flavor this dish has here, is a testament to the chef as a simple dish with no where to hide. The Pad Thai was also very good with that glassy noodle feel few seem to accomplish. I look forward to trying their Curries and Pad Woon Sen and update as I go. I am not sure however, if I will be able to resist ordering the Garlic Shrimp on every visit!
A nice little no-frills Thai spot that feels like eating in somebody's dining room. There may be a little wait and they don't have a large capacity, but the food is excellent. The curries are rich and flavorful. The crab wontons are so lightly battered it reminds one of Philo dough. Delicious.

Food is made to order. Comes out hot and ingredients are fresh. If you love spice this place has spice levels that are actually on point. This is my new favorite place to eat in town!!!
The food was so delicious! I had the Yellow Curry Chicken. It was beyond soothing on a cold day.
Great service and very yummy food! Would come back again
Garlic shrimp with rice is absolutely delicious 😋

Pad thai and sweet curry dishs were all exceptional at a great price and service was very very friendly
Great curry w/ chicken delicious! 😋
I went here ages weeks ago with some friends, and OH MY GOSH, it was so good! I’ve been thinking about it ever since, and I can’t wait to bring my husband. We’ve been to a few Thai places in town, and a couple are ok, but Song Lan is fantastic!
Great food and service. This is special.
I stopped in Song Lan for lunch and had their Pad Thai. I ordered mine with chicken. It was very good and had a well balanced flavor. I’ve had Pad Thai all over Spokane/Coeur d’Alene and it’s one of my favorite Thai dishes. I would rank Song Lan’s Pad Thai right up there in the top 2-3 places I have tried. The portion size was great and there was a good amount of chicken. You can order varying spice levels and I would say Song Lan’s spice level is a little conservative. I ordered a 4 star (1-5 scale) and it was probably more like a 3 star at most Thai restaraunts.
First time here and thought it was pretty good. We had the vegetable spring rolls, Tom kha soup, and chicken pad thai. My 4 year old loved the Tom Kha soup and enjoyed everything else as well. I will say I do like Thai Bamboos Tom Kha soup and pad thai better but this was still good! The gal waiting on us was very kind as well! We will be back.
We have only done take out. Which i think speaks even more to the quality of food at this place. It's so good, we have tried several things and all have been flawless. Best thai food in the area hands down. The gal at the register is an absolute boss, very friendly and knows her stuff. Wouldnt be surprised if she owned the place, that's how much pride she operates with! 10/10!!
Finally. Decent Thai food in the Spokane Valley (or Spokane County, for that matter).
I have tried something new every time I have eaten here and have yet to try something that wasn't incredible. I have never really been a peanut sauce person until I had the chicken satay and I literally dream of their peanut sauce. This led me to the praram which is SO tasty. I've had the Neau Pik Pao, drunken noodles, crab rangoons, Neau pad keemao, gaeng garee and pad pak and every meal has been top tier. I can't say enough good things about thile food, and even better that this is a small, family run business. You all have easily made my family regulars.
Best Thai food in Inland Northwest. Every time we go somewhere we eat Thai food, this is the best place. You'll be very happy if your new to Thai or have eaten it for a long time.

The Drunken noodles are perhaps my favorite dish I have ever had anywhere. Service is fantastic as well. Highly recommend checking this place out
One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Food and service are great every time and they are one of the few restaurants left that still give good portions. Would recommend.
Amazing food amazing service always highly recommended.

I drive an hour to eat there best curries in Spokane area. Great service.
Love the food here!
We were impressed with this small, hole-the-wall eatery. We like Thai food and this is the area’s best in our opinion. The Spring rolls, Pad Thai, and Beef Salad were flavorful and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive, friendly, and menu knowledgeable. Nice selection of beer including Singha to go with the meal. The atmosphere is very clean, informal, unassuming, and welcoming. Prices were reasonable. We were delighted and we’ll be back.
Larb (ground beef salad) 5/5

Loved Maw Phin and still love these folks at Song Lan. The food and service are exceptional
First time ever coming here but I'll definitely be back. The Thai fried rice was ok and I really enjoyed the special noodles but the Thai style chicken wings stole the show. While it was only an appetizer, it was phenomenal. It was so good that I could order it as an entree.
The food is so good and spicy! Ginger chicken, cashew chicken and pork fried rice so good I didn't get pictures!
Looking for Thai here in Spokane? This is your place.
We've never been there before. We will definitely be back. The food was amazing!!! Especially the crab rangoon!!
A very good Thai restaurant, the people were nice, the food was good (lots of vegan options), and it still has a cozy hole in the wall vibe.

It's not, but it's just average it's nothing special.
Best Thai I’ve eaten in Spokane! Service is as amazing! We will definitely be back soon!!
Food was great. Service was fast and friendly. Chairs are leftovers from the 80's. Not comfortable for my over weight bootie.
Alright, buckle up, because my taste buds just went on a wild Thai-riffic roller coaster ride at Song Lan Thai! Picture this: I walk in, and suddenly, I'm greeted by the aroma of spices so vibrant they could wake up a snoozing dragon. I take my seat, and before I can say 'Sawadee ka,' a tsunami of flavors hits my table!
The Pad Thai? It's like a party in my mouth, and everyone's invited – even the picky eaters! The Tom Yum soup? Let's just say it's got more kick than a martial arts movie marathon.
But the real showstopper? The staff! They're like culinary ninjas, stealthily delivering plates of deliciousness with lightning-fast precision. Plus, they've got jokes as spicy as their curries!
So, if you're ready to spice up your life and have your taste buds do the cha-cha, head over to Song Lan Thai! Just make sure to bring your appetite and maybe a fire extinguisher – things are about to get hot!
We probably had outsized expectations from all the glowing reviews. Also, we’ve had great Thai food (in Portland, OR) with amazing presentation and ambience so our bar might be too high. 4 stars for the food, fewer for the rest.
We ordered the crab rangoon appetizer, green curry, pad thai, pad woon sen, a beef dish I don’t recall the name of. The crab rangoon was good but all we tasted was cream cheese, no crab. The other dishes were excellent, with the exception of the beef, which was tough and chewy. I also wish they had salad rolls.
The heat index of zero, mild, medium, etc is for an American palette. The owner said the green curry was spicy even without bumping up the heat. I don’t care for really hot food but it was barely spicy. Even I would bump it up a notch, and the other dishes 2 notches.
We enjoyed the food very much overall but will only go back for takeout. There’s zero ambience and the chairs are uncomfortable. Our server, the owner, was nice but just piled the plates and silverware on the table for us to sort out. The dishes arrived with no serving utensils so we struggled with tablespoons. I admit we should’ve spoken up. They don’t have a liquor license yet so no beer or wine was available. The signage is still the old Le Brothers sign which was confusing. It looks like they’ve only been open 4 months so hopefully some of these kinks will get worked out.
Family owned, food is tasty and amazing, service is not only great but they know the names and orders of all the regulars, the food is fresh and prices are really good.
The crab rangoons are the best in spokane!! Highly recommend this new spot!!
I had the mussamon curry so delicious. It was busy but the service was still excellent.
Wow
YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!! There's been a hole in my heart and now they are BACK!!! I CANNOT wait to have Pad Woon Sen and crab rangoons. Just be warned, they will ruin you for other thai food.
Fantastic food, The service was excellent even though there was only one server working. Really, between the kitchen staff and the person serving us this was just a great experience in a small family style establishment with atmosphere which was not fancy but clean and functional.
Really great food and reasonably priced! The service was good and the food came pretty fast too. Had the green curry and pad Thai, they were both awesome. Thank you so much!
Really amazing food and friendly staff. Generous portions, and I felt they took the extra time on each dish. I ordered take out, and the staff was awesome. Good prepared to order, and I loved their jalapeño soy dipping sauce that came with the dumplings. We had pad thai, and it's better than 90% in the area. Drunken noodles were delicious. Highly recommend!
Best Thai in Spokane hands down. Had been going for years when they were on the north side and have missed them so much when they closed in Mead. Crab Rangoon's are a must as always and the peanut chicken is to die for! Such a great family and even better service! Support local and in my opinion, one of the best around!
Best Thai in Spokane! The crab rangoons are to die for, the peanut chicken is superb. The Panang curry is also a favorite. Very highly recommend!
Excellent Thai! Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back and try more items.
Amazing place. If I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would. Food is delicious, atmosphere feels very homely, and the service is beyond great. Been eating here for about a year, ate here before they had to move locations, and I will be eating here again :)
Amazing food and atmosphere. So glad they're back in action. My #1 recommended Thai restaurant!
Best pad thai and beef salad in town hands down! Their chicken wings are amazing!
Best Thai food in town!
Lovely little Thai place that gave me a delicious meal for a reasonable price within a reasonable time frame. The host was friendly, the place looked great, nothing I can think of for improvement!
I stubbled upon this place looking for Vietnamese food and was VERY impressed with every aspect of Song Lan. I have been back twice and will never go back to the other Thai restaurants in the Valley. Song Lan for the win!
Great place. My mom and I used to go more when they were up in the mead area. Worth it to drive out and eat here. Same as I remember. Delicious food, fried and stir-fried to perfection. Felt like I was looking at the menu all over again.
Pad Thai and pineapple curry were some of the best I've had in spokane.
So happy to see them reopened with the same great food they had at maw phin.
I missed them so much from the north location that I had to drive down to get my fix. My party had the crab Rangoon, vegetable spring rolls and pork spring rolls for appetizers. For dinner we ordered green curry(a must), I got my beloved pad thai, 2 versions of pad pak(chicken and shrimp) which has such a good broth, and we tried a new item of sweet and sour pork. Everything was delicious, per usual, and made from scratch. Please support this amazing family restaurant!
So glad they are back in business. Spokane's best Thai!!!
Great food. My wife and I had beef and a chicken Pad see ewe.
Both had great flavor and tasted made to order. Ordered one hot and the other medium and spice was perfect.
This is a new location of a previously established thai restaurant and from their previous location I had tried all but a few items from their menu. This was my go to weekly take out for a few months before they moved and I'm happy to say that nothings changed but the location, same flavors and same friendly service. They were out for quite awhile when changing locations and I tried other places but none quite matched the price to portion to flavor ratio I came to love and none were as comforting as the food here. Happy to see them back and would highly recommend if you're in the area or looking to give a new place a shot.
Tasty Thai food. Good service.
I hated to see LeBros leave but couldn't be a better replacement restaurant! These guys really do Thai food right!
They're back!! We've been DYING for delicious Thai food since Maw Phin closed 9 months ago. After hearing Song Lang is the new restaurant for this family, we immediately came down for dinner. Everything is delicious, just like we remember 😋 Crab Rangoon is amazing, the thin crunchy paper and delicious filling makes this the best in the spokane area. Cashew Chicken is perfectly sweet and spicy, meat was cooked perfect and juicy. The Green Curry is unlike any other I've ever had... no idea how they get the whipped broth to be so perfect. It's sweet and creamy. Happy to have them back!!
The best Thai food in Spokane is back!! This is the new name/location for Maw Phin, which used to be up in Mead. It was easily the tastiest and freshest Thai in town. Now they're out in the Valley with the same amazing food. Do not miss out!
This is in the old le brothers spot. Sign hasn't changed yet. Food is decent but definitely needs some work. I ordered 3 dishes and an appetizer. Meat is super super dry in all the dishes. Pad see ewe had sections of unflavored noodles that were stuck together in a thick clump, which really ruined the dish. They're a new place, so I'll give them some time and hopefully see improvements on my next visit!
