Nice place, quiet, friendly staff...
The table next to me had some great looking dishes! My food looked amazing! But...
Ii ordered three simple items, 2 simple rolls and nigiri.

The Nigerian was great however the two rolls were bitter because of the vinegar in the rice. It was out of balance so I rated the food at 3 stars.

The presentation was something worth repeating, I just wish my tuna rolls had a better balance of flavor.

Still you should try this place, it was probably a one off mistake...

Nice Thai restaurant with good food and service.
The atmosphere is nice as well.

Diner Review №4

The service was fantastic. All the staff provided superb service.
Our waitress, Penn, was attentive, helpful, efficient, thoughtful, professional and made us feel very welcome. One cannot get better service than what we observed. The food was excellent. The Thai dishes were all fantastic. The sushi was very good. The vegetarian choices were real and varied. The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable.

Tub Thim Thai is an exquisite Thai food gem in the heart of West Palm Beach. Everything we ordered was delicious, satisfying, and fresh. The dishes had depth of flavor, the mark of a skilled chef. Tub Thim also had many gluten-free options!

I started with the Tom Kha soup - a rich and frothy coconut milk broth with chicken, mushrooms, lemongrass, and cilantro. Each bite kept me wanting more. The soup had the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and umami. It truly warmed me to the soul.

My dad started off with the wonton soup, which he said was “outstanding and hearty!”

For my main, I ordered the chicken stir fry in ginger sauce with brown rice. The sauce was subtle, with a hint of heat from ginger. The veggies were cooked to a perfect al dente. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The salt content of the dish was just perfect - very light and not too much salt.
Tub Thim gives generous portions as well, and I have some leftover for lunch tomorrow!

The staff, owner, and chef are friendly and all came to our table to introduce themselves. The ambience is warm and inviting.

I highly recommended Tub Thim Thai for a flavorful dinner that is sure to turn your day around for the better.

This is our “GO TO” sushi and Thai restaurant. We frequent there at least every other week and have never had anything bad there to eat! My absolute favorite is the salmon sashimi, as it is soooo fresh it just melts in your mouth! Another to try is the escolar, you won’t be disappointed!
My mother loves the drunken noodle with chicken (photo attached) and I love both the super bomb and the Mackey Roll (photo below).
So if you want to venture and try a new place and you haven’t been….. I HIGHLY SUGGEST TUB TIM THAI… and quote me when I say…. you will be back!!!

Tub Tim Thai & Sushi is an absolute carnival for your taste buds! You walk in expecting a decent meal, but what you get is a full-blown culinary thrill ride. The Thai dishes hit with the perfect balance of spice and flavor, while the sushi is so fresh you’d swear it was plucked straight from the ocean & handed to your plate. The staff operates like a well-oiled machine, friendly, fast, and always ready to recommend something wild. If you’re looking for a place to blow your mind and your taste buds, Tub Tim delivers.

Diner Review №16

Not a good experience. Waited an hour for our food as we were told husband and wife were only ones cooking. Lobster bomb was terrible . At $32 I expected better . First it looked nothing like the posted picture. Lobster was dry and tasteless . My husband did like his seafood pasta. To top it off, there were two screaming kids at a table the entire time. It was our waitresses last night ( not surprised). She was the highlight of the evening.
Kabuki and Lemongrass have far better food and service.
We will not be returning !

Diner Review №19

The owner and staff should be proud of themselves for this gem. The presentation and flavor profile was exceptional. Hopefully you’re lucky enough to get Lauren as a server as well. Highly recommend this place.

Diner Review №23

Food was awful had no taste. Glad I found at lunch rather than dinner m. They need new chef!

Diner Review №24

If you are person of color- Don’t Go! You will be ignored so sweetly!!! It was my first time there and I ordered soup and asked what are the veggy options- Waitress so passive agressive with smile and told me,” We can make anything Vegeterian” for you. My spring rolls came with MEAT in it and I realized after eating half of it. She did not even apologize or say sorry- She said I ll get you another veggy one. I said I work in retail you are fine, No issue. Then she stopped serving me and sent me another waitress. Whole time she ignored more than 5 times. Even made me wait 13 minutes just for check. Not even sorry for your experiance, Have a goodnight nothing. I left the restaurant with head down low key. I will NEVER EVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. Done!

We came in and were seated promptly. After being seated we pretty much was ignored for 15-20 minutes. It wasn’t until seeing two other tables (who came in after us) in our section being served that I asked who our waitress was. Was told our waitress would be informed but after waiting some more (and contemplating on leaving and going elsewhere for dinner) we eventually was served by the waitress serving our area. Food was delicious and reasonable. I had the White Sangria, Tom Kha with Shrimp, Fried Calamari, Crab Rangoon, Soft Shell Crab, Thai Dumplings, Lobster Bomb, and the Fried Banana. Management seemed to check in on the tables around us and once again we were ignored. The waitress that did end up serving us was great but still we left with a bitter taste from being repeated overlooked. I would still highly recommend this place and will give them another try since this was my first time here.

Diner Review №28

This is the third time we’ve ordered and said NO CORN… it even says it on the top of the carry out box as you can see… still getting corn. Quality of the food has gone way down and tonight’s chicken was way over cooked!!

Diner Review №29

Authentic Thai food. Fresh sushi bar prepared with a decorative Flair. My regular is the crispy duck in basil sauce . Don't forget the freshly made and healthy wonton soup. A regular place for us for over 15 years

Diner Review №31

Amazing!! We are very picky with where we eat raw fish and they did not disappoint! Restaurant is clean, food was great and the service was just as great which is relieving. Definitely would go back when we’re in town!

Best Birthday Dinner I can remember! Excellent food, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly attentive staff. Could ask for a better experience!

Diner Review №33

Diner Review №34

Very enjoyable dining experiences. The baked brie platter and the appetizer platter are my 2 favorite things on the menu. I love the warm cheese with the bread, fruit, and crackers. The crispy duck is superb. I like to get it on its own dish so it stays crisp and I add the sauce separately. Service is good. Food is awesome. Ambiance is nice. Highly recommended. Noella (not sure how to spell her name) was wonderful and very attentive to our group celebrating a birthday. Kept drinks refilled and brought clean plates to eat family style between appetizers and main courses. Lovely experience.

Diner Review №35

Tonight, horrible service!!!! Typically we have a pleasant enough experience. However, this evening our wait was over 1 Hr. (1:08) for soups, a green curry, and some kids sushi. Our kids were very upset, with our smallest crying due to the excessively long wait. It wasn’t until we complained that someone actually attempted to do something. We won’t return any time soon.

Diner Review №36

The food was fantastic! Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Wonton soup, Pad Thai, and rainbow roll, all delicious. And the donuts: crispy doughy, dipped in evaporated milk swirled with chocolate. Yes, please!

Diner Review №37

Delicious Food..

Diner Review №38

Great place with great food. We had to wait 40 minutes on a cold Saturday evening. But it was worth it.
I wish they had a bigger sit-down bar for ppl who were waiting.

If you’re going for Thai food, they give you really large portions. The sushi was good too. Our server was attentive and friendly.

Diner Review №46

Diner Review №47

Best Thai Experience you'll find in South Florida!!! From the owners to the servers you can't get anything better if you owned it yourself!!

Diner Review №48

I had the Mackey roll and my son had the eel roll. The sushi was flavorful; the presentation was beautiful. Service is pretty attentive even in a full house. I do like that they do offer individual sushi and sashimi selections, so you can sample various pieces instead of buying an entire roll.

Diner Review №49

I'm baffled by the abundance of 5-star reviews raving about the delectable dishes here. Let's begin with the Thai cuisine flagship - the Tom Yum soup. What we received was a mildly salty and sour broth containing ordinary champignon halves and a few pieces of mundane chicken breast that had never graced this broth before. Not to mention the absence of tom yam paste, lemongrass, kaffir leaves, cherry tomatoes and chili pepper – a far cry from an authentic Tom Yum.
The tuna tataki, instead of being raw, was transformed into cooked tuna (I shudder to think why) and was accompanied by unexciting soy sauce instead of the expected unagi. The soft shell crab was a disappointment, with a whopping 90% deep-fried breading and the same soy sauce accompaniment. It seems like there were no other sauce options available that day.
As for the entree - signature duck, the meat was acceptable but a tad dry. However, the sauce was a complete letdown, as it seemed the chef had inexplicably added cheap red wine without reducing it, resulting in a terrible taste that marred the entire dish. This is basic culinary knowledge and displays a lack of professionalism. it would be better if the cook would also add soy sauce instead current :)))
The sashimi sampler was the only redeeming aspect, given that it's difficult to mess up. On the plus side, the waitress provided good service.
I can't fathom why people would give glowing 5-star reviews to such inauthentic, low-quality food... It's as if they've never had an authentic Thai meal before, never was in Thailand, leading them to "always have a wonderful experience here”.

Diner Review №50

This was seriously the best Thai food I’ve had in a long time

Diner Review №51

Diner Review №54

Diner Review №55

Amazing! I had the green curry with coconut milk, green bell peppers, onions, mushroom, baby corn and eggplant with a side of white rice lunch special. My added protein was a grilled snapper (2 medium sized filets!). The gravy was thick, creamy and just the right heat. I can't wait to return!

Diner Review №56

Always a great experience.

Diner Review №57

Had a fantastic time celebrating a friend's birthday. Went for dinner. Great portions. Everything was tasty. We had the papaya salad, Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen and Chicken in Ginger sauce. Dessert was the most divine pumpkin custard. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend checking out this gem in Wellington. Fresh flowers on the table for that extra touch

Diner Review №58

Wonderful in every way. Thank you!

Diner Review №59

Recommeded by friends...
Average Thai, still delicious but pricey for what you get. $17 for a little meat and veg in a canned curry sauce (tastes very familiar)

I am wary of add on sushi but Spicy tuna roll was good. Chunk not minced tuna..

Chicken peanut sauce too sweet, no balance of the four tastes aa Thai should be.

Sorry, but you can make Thai this good if you want to but obviously a successful restaurant in this area. Not a destination in my book. They have a sister restaurant in the area too

Diner Review №60

Food was extremely delicious, however the service was horrible. They made us wait for 5 min before saying you seat yourself. We then waited 25 minutes just to be acknowledged and take our order. The food took over an hour and a half to arrive. When it did though it was very very good. Despite the long wait the staff was very kind and apologized for the inconvenience.

Diner Review №69

Best Sushi and Sashimi in Wellington. Most consistent food quality and service everytime.

Diner Review №70

No help, one chef. Waited for food over an hour. Got there at 6:30 left at 8:30. Too late to eat at that point and needed to get home. Wrapped it up to go. Soup came out quick and that was delicious.

Diner Review №89

They having amazing Sushi and Pad Thai. Their soups are always fresh and delicious.

Diner Review №90

Worst service of all time. Chicken was dryer and a desert, tasted like it was boiled in hot dog water for 5 hours, and the chef must have drew on the grill marks with a sharpie marker. Pad Thai noodles were basically diced up and the chicken tasted like biting into someone’s arm, undercooked.

Thai tea was great but I feel like that’s a very hard thing to mess up, please do yourself a favor and go eat at Kabuki or Lemongrass is you’re looking for a better Asian spot

Called twice on a Saturday at 6:30PM to place a to go order, no answer. I drove there to place my order in person. I waited 10 minutes for the hostess and when I said I wanted to place a to go order, I was bypassed and ignored in favor of the people who wanted a table.

They were mildly busy, but no one was making any effort to answer the phone. It was ringing constantly the entire time I was there. I have no desire to go back and give it a second chance.

Chose this place for my birthday dinner.

Service is awesome, very clean and comfortable place. Fast service. Food presentation is nice.

I ordered sushi, thai soup and combo fried rice that came with mostly hard chicken that taste like it was pre cooked boiled in water with no seasoning then cooked again, reason for it being hard and chewy and taste like nothing. Sushi wasn't good. Someone from my group ordered chicken teriyaki and same hard chicken with no flavor.

Only thing that was so so was the shrimp Thai soup with 2 peices of shrimp. I've had plenty of Thai food and this has been the worst tasting.

I have been coming here since before they moved locations years ago. This is and always will be my favorite Thai food. My favorites include the pad thai, the chicken nam sod, the tom yum soup and the thai tea. They have the best lunch deals and the quality of food as always remained fantastic. I 100% recommend getting food here either dining in or taking out.

Diner Review №129

We made rsvp so got seated decently quick although it took the hostess a few minutes to notice us. Place isn’t big but decent ambiance and cute fish tank the kids enjoyed.
We waited 40 minutes for someone to walk by us so we can order even waters for the table. Other tables that arrived 30 minutes after us were served drinks and appetizers before us. Our kids were whining they were hungry. We couldn’t get a hold of any servers. Finally when we managed to call one over, he was rude and with an attitude told us there were only 3 of them working and that there are other tables. Then we asked for the kids pizza form the menu to which he told us they had none , even though we confirmed earlier that they did have them. The food came out decently quick afterwards. My sushi roll came out missing Ingredients. Other food was bland and not what a stir fry should look like. We asked for extra sauce on the side that they forgot to bring. Chicken was chewy. Beef from massaman curry was skimpy. The best thing there was the frozen pizza they burned for the kids and fries. Other people were getting antsy as well. I’m not sure how they have such raving reviews and we were so excited to have a good place to come to nearby in Wellington, but sadly greatly disappointed. Won’t be returning.

the food is always delicious and the service is great!

Diner Review №143

Absolutely love the Tom Kha soup. The seafood pasta was great and they had very friendly staff.

Diner Review №144

I have gone to this restaurant for several years. In the past 6 months service has been slow due to lack of employees. Their food is excellent and the best Thai food around.

Now that covid is mostly done, the service has been good and this is the best Thai food you will find anywhere. I am a total food critic and Tub Tim is the place to go.

Diner Review №145

Diner Review №146

Love the veggie panang! Good vegetarian options & take out is just as good as dining in.

Diner Review №147

Excellent food, fast service

Diner Review №148

I recently tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch.

The service was a little bit slow even if the place was empty, but I wasn’t in a hurry and I did enjoy the calm and the ambience (the décor includes a big fish tank!).
They also have an outdoor dining patio.

They apparently don’t bring you anything to munch on before your meal, but their chicken soup was very tasty and probably one of the best I had.
I had better sushi/sashimi platters instead, but I can’t say I didn’t like at all the one I had in this restaurant.
They also have very decent white wine.

I will certainly stop there again for a quick lunch if I am in the area, but I don’t think I will try a dinner: their prices are a little bit expensive, and I already found better deals for this kind of cuisine.

Diner Review №149

It wasn't *bad*, but it was quite lackluster. The firecracker shrimp appetizer only contained 5 shrimp and, frankly, not that much flavour for $14. My beef and vegetable Panang curry had a lot of beef, which was a good touch, but neither the beef nor the vegetables seemed like they had spent any amount of time in the curry to meld flavours. And the curry itself was fairly bland to me, compared to most other Thai restaurants I've been to. Not really any peanut notes or depth to the flavour. On top of that, the curry was more expensive than much better thai restaurants I've been to, at $17.

Nothing was bad, but I was not impressed, especially at the price

Diner Review №150

Best pad Thai I have ever had. Absolutely amazing! Found my new spot!

Diner Review №151

What a wonderful evening! The service and the food were amazing! Authentic, Japanese sushi and Thai appetizers! I only wish I had room for some great curry!

We’re totally coming back. Congratulations, Tub Tim Thai…you have a new regular!

Diner Review №156

My favorite Thai restaurant in the world. We found this ''gem'' probably about six or seven months ago...and have returned now probably at least twenty times. Each time, the food has been absolutely beyond fantastic. For the past two weeks, i have taken two different parties of six to eat here. EVERYONE has been amazed by the food, the quality and the service. Coincidently, we had the same waiter for both groups. This gentleman, takes our order, drinks and food together, without writing down any of it!! Remarkably, he returns first with everyone's drinks, then all six dinners appeared, with every request done perfectly!! Not one even slight ''mistake''. We usually end up there, now at least every week. Can't get enough of this.

Diner Review №157

Absolutely the freshest we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back.

Diner Review №158

First we ordered the fried tofu which was the best it could be (I guess?)
My dish was a cashew peanut stir fry which literally tasted like nothing. Not even a pinch of salt. It had absolutely no taste to it and looked like it was just thrown together. Really disappointing as we didn’t mention it to our server, because he looked like he was just trying to hold on to dear life. Sushi was OK and the Thai tea was good but never again :(

Diner Review №159

outstanding...all the dishes are fantastic with unique flavors and fresh ingredients. Salads to dynamic rolls to one of a kind dishes i have never been let down. The service equals the quality of food making the entire experience perfect.

Diner Review №160

Omg!! The Chicken Pad Thai to so delicious. Staff is really friendly, the place is super clean. Customer service 👍. I just moved from California and must say that I will frequent Tim Tub Thai and Sushi 🍣👌

Diner Review №161

If I could I would give this place 6 stars! Great service and sushi was delicious. My new go to place for sushi.

Diner Review №162

The staff’s service was incredible. The food, even given the huge menu, was delicious and plentiful. I typically ask for more protein in my meals because restaurants will short me. However, I ordered a volcano roll, eel roll, and drunken noodles with pork. My wife ordered the chicken noodle soup. I was overloaded with food, and it was nothing short of amazing. The only complaint is it is not closer to me, so I can get my Tun Tim fix every week!

Diner Review №163

Great variety of dishes. Prices are moderate to expensive. Never had a bad meal and like the outdoor eating option located beside the fountain

Diner Review №164

Diner Review №165

I used to like this place and used to come here at least once a week for many years. The food is good, however for over a year now their speakers are broken. There is no bass or medium, only the treble and it is set to the loudest. I have sensitive ears, I was playing musical instruments in my whole life and this really irritates me. Like someone is stabbing my ears with a knife. I raised it 3 times with them already but they ignored it. Buying a set of speakers would be like $100. I hope it worth that they lost a loyal customer. I won’t come back until this is resolved.

Diner Review №166

Great service. Sushi was unbelievable. Couldn't stop eating. Drinks were outstanding. Thank you. A must

Diner Review №167

A little pricey but the portion is huge! I would recommend yam woon sen, shrimp pad thai and tom yum soup. Service is great, would come back again.

Diner Review №168

I love Thai cuisine and usually order from Kabuki . I wanted to try some place different and decided to google Thai restaurants near my work place. Tub Tim had some good review so I placed an order.

I had order Tofu Tom gha soup with rice and their Thai fresh roll( also known as spring roll).

Firstly, I want to say the moment I saw the color of the soup, I knew the food is questionable. I gave them benefit of the doubt. I opened the box that contained the Thai roll and thought to myself “ ok, it might be ok.” The Thai roll looks legit even thought presentation might be a little off.

I dived right into the Thai roll first and dipped it in their peanut sauce ( spring roll sauce is contains hoisen and peanut sauce giving it a sweet and salty taste. It is deep in color similar to bbq sauce) and was quickly disappointed. The sauce is too sweet and and the roll had no flavor .

About the soup:
Anyone who is familiar with Thai cuisine know that Tom Gha or Tom Yum soup has a slight tint of red in the broth. Asian cuisine is a balance of sweet, salty, spicy and vinegary flavors mashed together . The red color in the broth derives from chili paste . This broth was milky white . There was no color at all!! Again, I tried to be open-minded. The broth lacked flavor and it appears they just threw the tofu in without cooking it or anything. Not only did not look appetizing, the tofu were chopped in huge chunks in oddly shaped . I will not order from here again and hopefully I do not get food poisoning.
