Down-to-earth takeaway dishing up Thai noodles, curries & soups, plus veggie & gluten-free options.
This is a fantastic place for Thai cuisine in the International District (formerly known as Chinatown). The server was friendly and helpful.
We ordered three items: Thai tea with boba, beef pad Thai, and black rice with coconut milk dessert. The tea was delicious, especially with the freshly made mini boba. You can tell it's good when the boba is soft and has a great texture.
The pad Thai was marvelous, and the black rice dessert was amazing! I had already had dinner elsewhere, but I couldn't resist trying these three items in the food court area. I’m glad I did!
If you find yourself in the International District, definitely check this place out. You will enjoy their food!
Decent, if pricey, Thai food in the Uwajimaya food court. The dumpling noodle soup is a highlight. The peanut sauce noodles' sauce is too thick and makes for a less than pleasant mouthfeel. The Thai tea and coffee are both on the overly sweet side, but otherwise acceptable. Service was friendly.
I ordered the pad see eww and my fried had the garlic fried chicken with white rice and egg special. The noodles for the pad see eww were soft and bouncy. Very delicious and fresh. The garlic fried chicken had great flavor and were juicy. Everything was hot and fresh. Would definitely eat here again 😋
I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants. This place had small portions, and it wasn't as good as other places. Also, I'm surprised they are not using compostable containers and utensils, required by the city.
Incredible! This is by far my favorite Thai food place in Seattle. I work in International district and Thai Place has been my watering hole for over a year. Their food is the freshest and most consistent tasting Thai food I’ve had. Their portions are great for the price and when you online order your food is ready very quickly.
Thanks!
(The picture is of my favorite dish, the Pad Kee Mao)
Decent Thai food, but nothing extraordinary. The crab rangoons are EXCELLENT. But the Pad Thai and Wide Noodles in Peanut Sauce were just all right. Didn't have enough sauce, kind of bland. Also, the staff is really skimpy about the utensils, napkins, and sauce they provide. For example, just 2 napkins for 3 entrees and 2 side dishes. Ask for soy sauce and they give just one packet.
As much I liked the crab rangoons, I felt there should be more than 6 included for the $8 price tag. Also, it would be nice if the workers were a little more friendly and generous with the utensils and sauce amounts. Maybe add more flavor to the food as well. But even so, this place was good enough for us to come back to a second time.

Closes early. Certainly not open at 810pm, walked a mile for nothing

The noodles taste like old burnt oil. Was very difficult to eat.
I felt like this place was a rip off. Curry was not good and the woman running the counter was rude. She wanted me to pay extra for a paper box for my take away. I will not be visiting this place again.
i have ordered a few different things from them unfortunately they get it wrong every time. not to mention kinda plan flavor. would recommend something else
Pretty affordable and good value. Pad Thai with tofu was super tasty. Got my food quickly and it was piping hot! I highly recommend the mango lemonade too.
Garlic crispy chicken is awesome I get it every time I come here... The Thai tea is fantastic
This has been my go-to thai for years. The pad se ew, crispy garlic chicken and phad thai are my favorites. And the family who owns the place, and takes your order, are great too. Don't let their occasional curt demeanor detour you from some comforting thai food. Also know that the weekend chef makes dishes spicy 😋
I LOVE this place!!!!!!! It's the best, most tasty food ever!!! The only thing I would change if I could lower the prices a bit. But in summary, I would eat here every day if I could!!!!!!!! Yum!!!!! Mmmm!
Bad service 😞, she takes orders with her bossier style. Traumatic experience.
This restaurant is located in a food court and there is limited space to eat in the building.
Thai fried rice is consistently bomb diggity
Staff feel a bit cold. No eye contact, thrown your food on the counter. No thank you. But I can live with that. I ordered the lab gai which was okay but would be way better if they shredded the cabbage it is served on instead of serving on huge chunks of raw cabbage. Made it a less pleasant to eat. All that said, I would order again requesting they shred the cabbage.
Recommend the shrimp pad thai noodle. Taste very good with garlic. A little bit too much oils, that's why it gives 4 stars.
Solid service from a take out only perspective. Good curry, appetizers
Always love going here! Super friendly and they always recognize me and my order!
The pad kee mao was good. Definitely recommend.
Sometime there was no seat so I suggest not to come during busy hours. 530pm will be a good time.
I first went to Thai place many years ago with my dad, now I live close-by and I eat here nearly every week with my partner! The person working the counter is always so helpful, and the food is delicious. Thank you Thai Place!
Reliably delicious! I keep coming back and I've never been disappointed in a meal. I'm impressed by how well the staff keep up with how busy that location sometimes gets.
Found in the Uwajimaya food court, I've been going here since I moved to ID a few years ago. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good. Great prices, great ingredients, great choices. :)
This place has consistently been the go to spot for a quick bite before and after sporting events. The Thai food and portions are good, especially for cafeteria food standards.
There was one time where they got my drink order wrong and the lady managing the front had it replaced for me super fast!
Excellent food, I've ordered takeout 6 or 7 times in the last month and it's been delicious every time. The pad kee mao and pad ba mee are my personal favorites.
I absolutely love the food here! They are always so kind and fast! 10/10 recommend you should try it
I go here at least once a week. Always quick, very consistent, and extremely tasty.
Best Thai around CID. There are other options that might be better but they are much further away in Belltown
My near-daily lunch spot for 5-star curry or the many other vegan options (Angel Eggplant w/Tofu is great). They work hard and are very short staffed. Order online and just go pick it up, rather than ordering at the counter and waiting.

Amazing food and service! Been going weekly for over 2 years and it is delicious & quick every time. The people who work there are also super friendly. All around fantastic experience!
As someone who has been to Thailand a few times and travelled around the country, the food at Thai Place is authentic, tasty, and spicy (if you want spice). We love ordering from here regularly for takeout because the quality is always great, the price more affordable than some other sit down restaurants, the service is extremely fast, they are environmentally conscious (ask on their online order site if you need a bag or utensils), and the owner is always nice and wants to make her customers happy.
To the person who gave a bad review because the owner wouldn't give you the Uwajimaya bathroom code, stop complaining. The rule for all of the establishments in there is that you have to order something or buy something in the store to get the bathroom code. Period. Stop feeling entitled and pay if you need to use the toilet.
I eat here all the time and the food is top notch! I just ordered my favorite, Pad Thai but the Pineapple Fried Rice is amazing too! Excellent Customer Service
This place is tasty, convenient, and did I mention tasty?
I work in the area and this is the perfect spot to pickup lunch. I always order ahead on their website and the food is always ready before I know it. Reliable service, pad kee mao, is my go-to.
Ho, the woman works is is a major jerk and so so rude. I asked for help in getting the bathroom code, she was really nasty and just disgusting attitude in general. The place as we can clearly see was nasty and dirty also. The Hispanic people that work in the back does not know her name.
I don’t need to wait long for my hot food to be served. It is authentic, delicious and I simply enjoy my meal, every single time.
You can choose the protein and the spicy level, they will send your order to the kitchen right after.
It is now my most favorite place to go for Thai food. Five stars.
Great place to go to for pad thai. It's part of the food court, so the atmosphere isn't Great, but the food is.
Lunch deals are available.
Poor portions for price.I requested ginger chicken(small tiny pieces of chicken) Very skimpy even for just a brocolli dish. Not worth your money try something more abundant and authentic
Food Pud See Ew was burnt! Called spoke to Sung(?) was a first told there was nothing she could do. When pressed she agreed to tell owner about my issue. Have ordered from them many times, probably no more!
Good food and very kind and helpful service
Food tasted great, spice level was accurate! Pad Kee Mao was well cooked (there was wok hey). Pork from the Holy Basil rice dish was tender. they seemed to be short staffed (as indicated by signs at the store), may want to consider ordering online for less wait at the ordering counter.
Decent Thai food, but nothing extraordinary. The crab rangoons are EXCELLENT. But the Pad Thai and Wide Noodles in Peanut Sauce were just all right. Didn't have enough sauce, kind of bland. My daughter and I were there earlier today. There was nobody ordering food or waiting for food. The staff member was sitting down and came out behind the counter to yell at my daughter. This was unexpected as my daughter was doing nothing. We had just finished shopping T Uwajimaya and wanted a snack. Completely unprofessional behavior. Would never patronize this place.
Noodle options (including yakisoba) are pretty good. Portions are a bit small, though.
The food tastes fine, but the portions have become VERY small, the customer service is consistently unkind, and the order isn't complete. I can only guess that workers have a very bad relationship with ownership, otherwise why?
They gave partially cooked brown rice and charged extra for replacement white rice.
My wife. Spent $67.00 On few plates take home . When home I opened them .I only could make out what 1 item supposed be . The teriyaki chicken looked like the chicken pieces you would put in chines vegetable dish little nodules . It had 0 teriyaki or seasoning lol . I didn’t know what it was until wife said what ordered . She said she ordered teriyaki tofu too .it was 4 cubes seemed to be hardly cooked with 1-2 dots soy souce on top of white rice . The pad thai was the only thing I could make out .that said it had 0 sauce just oil . What a joke I can’t imagine any person actually eating at this place twice, if there’s zero star I will just give that, I hope they will improve the quality of their food
The best fried rice around and quick to get it!! I was a little worried about the lime addition but it was good. Friend had the pad Thai which I tried and was also top notch!
We ordered via Uber Eats. Apparently their internet was so unstable they rejected the order. So when I called back 2 hours later to request that they actually make the food and send the order and asked if they could do something extra for my grieving friend who's lunch this was, they argued with me and refused. A freaking soda in the bag or dessert would have handled this but their idea of customer service is non-existent.
Also ordered the Prikkhing Prince and requested Pork which was not an option and they refused telling me I had to order it with pork in order to receive pork. When that is not an option, what am I supposed to do? They were not willing to problem solve in any way even with the option of me paying extra over the phone. I spent close to $100 and got $1 worth of customer service. Do not eat here if you like to be treated well.
I said I wanted it spicy. It was a 10 out of 5, just like I love it. Seafood cooked separately.
I have no clue what happened to some of these customers to give such bad reviews but I have been coming here at least once a week for the last year and all I got to say is that this is some of the best Thai food in Seattle. I've traveled all over and I think this is some of the best Thai food I have ever had. It's well worth the price just beware the place is small and has limited staff so you may have to actually wait for your food. I know how we Americans act up when we have to wait for something. But it is well worth the wait.
Great food, very authentic and very very nice people
Pad See Eww Beef **. Tastes okay (edit: I wrote this having only taken a few bites (almost half the meal) and the bottom, was all burnt sugar so I'm going from ** to one *. Go somewhere else), but the portion size is half of any other Thai restaurant in Seattle and with a thai iced tea was just over $20! There are too many options in the area where you can get an affordable quality meal that you don't have to go to another place right after to finish lunch. My advise, don't bother with Thai Place restaurant.
Located inside the Uwaijima store, this place has the tastiest in the food court. We often stop here to buy our dinner to take to the game at one of the nearby stadiums.
The pad see ew w/ chicken was surprisingly really good!! Like it had the perfect amount of char from the wok stir fry. I am definitely reordering again in the future.
Well, the food may be good, but I couldn't say. It has been about a 55 mınute wait so far and we still don't have food.
We never got a buzz to get our food.
Toby handed the buzzer back and told her 45 minutes was too long.
She handed him a cold greasy bag and told him it has been ready
Garlic chicken never disappoints! Always hot and tasty.
The food is up to par with other Thai places but the portions (soup, Tom Ka) are ridiculously small and unfulfilling. Other Thai places give you twice or 3x as much for the same or lesser price.
Delicious noodles and vegetables dish and spring rolls
I carry out twice a week and the quality is consistently excellent. I live above in Uwajimaya Village so this is both handy and reliable. These guys are the best.
Great food! Spicy level 5 is spicy, food served real hot. Customer service wasn't stellar but all is well.
A little slow but very good flavor.
Ordered 0 star spice and got around 4. Took about 5 minutes to process my payment. Food quality was good.
Good pad thai but lady behind the counter was rude. I waited for 15 minutes and it turns out my food was sitting on the other side of the counter where I couldn’t see it while she was eating her lunch. As I stood there and looked at her she walked over and reached down and put my food on top of the counter. Didn’t apologize or anything. Then I asked for extra soy sauce and she gave me the ol’ stink eye. Sorry to bother you, lady.
Great place to go for a quick Thai experience. There are not a lot of Thai places in the neighborhood so this is one of the better options. Convenient location. I can stop here on my way home from work. I particularly like the curry dishes, especially the Red Curry.
Great food bad customer service! I’ve been going here for 10+ years, and I love it. The food is always consistent and delicious. But today when I went, I ordered the same thing I always order. I asked for one star on the spice level. Since Covid they no longer have a hot bar so all your food is made to order. Which is great
because it means everything is made fresh. The downside is you no longer get a receipt while you wait for your food.. if I had had a receipt I would’ve seen that the lady had put five stars instead of one star. I get my food and I drive back to work. Once I’m at work I realize that the meal is significantly spicier than it should’ve ever been. So I look at the receipt that is in the bag and it said five stars. I call, and explain what had happened. The lady told me to bring in my receipt and that they will fix it. That made me very happy because by this point I was very hungry. I drove back I gave her my receipt and my spicy food. I told her I literally couldn’t eat it because it was so spicy and it was hurting my stomach. She takes my dish and says something to the cook which I cant understand because I don’t speak their language, which is totally fine! A few minutes later she says they are making me a new one. I get my food minutes after that, and head to my car. But my food is the SAME LEVEL OF SPICE! They didn’t make me a new dish they just reheated my old food in a wok and gave it back to me. So now my stomach hurts because it’s too spicy, I’m starving because I haven’t eaten and I’ve wasted my entire lunch hour. Needless to say I didn’t go back there was no point. This review more reflects their customer service than their food..
I have a bad experience with a cashier today 9/9/2020, She was so rude, She didn't let me tell my pick up order name, and I try to explain she should change her attitude to treat costumers and She said whatever.😡😡😡😡😡😡
My favorite place to pick up Pad Thai in Washington.
This was the worst curry chicken I've ever had. It was inedible. I find stringy chicken disgusting.
Food is decent. Super slow service though
Great food but topical Seattle prices
Worst food u can order
Ordered noodles with no egg and no meat. It finally arrives late and what do I bite into? A big piece of chicken. Nope, never again.
They have the best Thai delivery! And you can’t beat the amount of spring rolls. They are my go to for delivery!
Pretty gross. Had the Peanut Noodles. The noodles here are disgusting. They are the size of your arm, extremely mushy and bland. No flavor. The texture in your mouth is similar to how raw chicken feels in your hands. Speaking of chicken, i ordered it as my protein, and received 4 to 5 very small pieces. Overall, extremely unimpressed. Will look elsewhere next time for Thai food.
The food was really good but if you pay $10 for soup I except a larger portion than an appetizer sized bowl of soup. Most Thai places give you at least a quart of Tom Kha soup for that price. But the tiny bowl I got made me never want to go back.
Lovely, sweet, black sticky rice. Supremely authentic panang and red (gang dang?) Curries. The only option when ordering on door dash is to make them mild, so I recomend trying to alter it somehow if you order online and want spicy. I have not been to the brick and mortar store itself, and do not know if they offer spicer options. The mild was still very flavorful! The Thai tea was lovely, refreshing, and authentic! Just about to dig into my coconut ice cream, and can't wait!
Pretty tasty Drunken noodles. Higher priced. Decent service.
A great Thai restaurant
they suck
Poor portions for price. Very skimpy even for just a brocolli dish. 1 tiny sweet n sour for 8 spring rolls. Absolutely no taste. Not worth your money try something more abundant and authentic
For what it is, great food. The buzz of the area makes communication difficult, but the staff is patient and pays attention to detail.
Delicious noodles at an unbeatable price
Best Pad See Eew I have had in the area. Check it out!
Actually some of the bitter tasting Thai food in the area despite being in the food court of watch Amaya. Order ahead they'll have it ready for you. As good as any sit-down restaurant. The LARP guy was especially good with big cabbage leaves. The tom kha gai tasty without being overwhelming.
Great food. I love the Pad See Ew and Thai fried rice. Of all the booths at Uwajimaya food court, this one is high on my list. That said, the quality of food may vary over time. What you get this week may be different from next week.
This curry tastes like regret and misplaced dreams, luckily it's mostly tasteless. Why would you put frozen peas and carrots in Panang curry?
I just ordered chick pad thai and I have not eaten it yet but wanted to leave an initial review. I had the smallest portion for $10 i have ever seen delivered. Will not order from here again!
I had the tom kha, which was flavored decently, should have more veggies, and was the most expensive portion of tom kha I've ever bought, and I LOVE tom kha. I think they're trying to take advantage of the tech workers nearby.
Not life changing but I've definitely had worse Thai plates for more $$
Five star spice is amazing
Ordered Pad Thai. Large portion but chicken was overcooked and the noodles were utterly bland. Already feel sick after eating 1/4 of the meal. Wish I would have looked up reviews first.
Cooked well, good portions but the food is tasteless.
Far too expensive for the low quality food. This place is pretty much a place to go if you must have thai food in a food court.
I thought the food was pretty darned good. Reading some of the other reviews... I think they were expecting more than they should have.
It's in Uwajimaya's food court. I ordered "Pud Thai" as a stand alone not as a combo $9 with tax. I was glad to see they cooked it separately after I ordered instead of scooping it from the combo menu already made. Pad Thai turned out to be very delicious and fully packed to the extent that I could share half with my husband.
The entire noodle dish was a soggy mess. Literally slop with zero taste.
Disgusting. Very bland. Definitely the worst Thai food I've ever had. Should've read these reviews.
This is so not thai food!
I make better Thai food than this Uwajamaya food court anchor. But you can't beat the price.....................................
