I asked them to return my money and I left without the food. There was no sense of urgency or apology even though we tipped very well when we ordered online. The feeling I got is morale is low and the staff is short and overworked and don't really like or care about the business. It used to be different but they have not been able to adjust as the area has grown.

By mistake they did not include any spice in my soup that I ordered 3 stars. When I called to tell them they were extremely rude and said i was wrong. Literally there was not even one chilli flake!!! I've eaten their soup before and it was wonderful and that's why I ordered Tom kha with 3 stars today because I'm getting a cold. I got nothing but a nasty attitude and this was a huge waste of money. Unreliable poor food quality and terrible customer care!!!!!!! Not worth it for me to return the soup tomorrow.

Wow. Ordered out. Had Phad See-Ew like many times before, but it was terrible. Pork was dry, noodles were a pulverized mess. Didn’t even save the leftovers. New management? New cook maybe? Not a pleasant take out experience

Food was ok. Very bad service. The waitress snapped at me for saying multiple time no oyster sauce or fish oil. Come on - I just want to be sure. She can say the same thing with a smile. She does not have to be rude to me.. if I want to get snapped at at the dinner table - I would eat at home and let my wife do the honors :-)

Completely understaffed and overwhelmed. They tell you when to pick up and then when you arrive they tell you it will be 30 more mins. Everytime! They get that money up front though. This was my 3rd try. No thanks.

Food is delicious, atmosphere and ambiance is excellent.. but this review is especially for my favorite hostess working mostly on weekends. She is incredibly nice and always wears a great smile on her face. God bless you sister you live long.

I've been ordering take out, as well as dining in with my family in this restaurant many times.
Seeing a bunch of negative reviews, where Karens vent and give trashy reviews for a single small issue, or even a non-issue (like, server not smiling, really?), I decided to give mine, just to counter them. They probably will down vote my review, but I don't care.
Food is great, and that's all that matters.

Roasted duck curry was about $18. Enough food for two people. Cooked to perfection. Staff was very nice. Go to spot if you're near the Ridge.

Food quality seems to be going down hill. Every dish we had tonight had a weird smell and taste.

The owner guy is terrible. I tell him how spicy I want my food and he says ok and then when I get my food it says 1 star which is no spice at all. This has happened every time he takes my order. Do you ever listen to what I'm saying?

This used to be my favorite restaurant but I will never go here again for several reasons. 1: I ordered sizzling hot plate which was completely cold to the touch. 2: the plaid Thai was old and made me sick. 3: my teas was cold and not strong. 4: waitress rushed our entire experience 5: cook yelled at customer waiting to be picked up.

The chicken Tom Kah is amazing, especially when fresh/dine-in.

Hostess confronted my daughter who picked up my take out order for not adding a tip. Tom yum was sugar water, no galangal, no lime leaf, no cilantro, minimal lemongrass. Pad thai went racid by next day. Appetizer sampler was very good. Don't know if food quality was related to tip issue.

I only do take out here. So can't comment on the inside dining experience. I have had great luck here doing take out, all of the dishes were very good, they pack them with care, and normally they are ready quick and the food is still nice and hot when I get it home. The soups are great here as well.

An excellent experience

This was my first time dining at Sliver Spoon Thai and I had high hopes. Unfortunately there were lots and lots of flies present while dining (in the late fall when you would not expect to see this) and the flies would not leave us or other diners alone. It made you wonder what is happening in the kitchen if there are so many flies present in the dining room. The food was also not as good as I’ve had elsewhere and the service was impatient and grumpy. All in all, I was very disappointed and won’t come back.

Not happy with overall service. Not that they were rude but they were not friendly either. 1st order was wrong and they remade and next one they increased the spice level. Did not enjoy the food much. Seems they did not pay attention to the details of the order.

Excellent neighborhood Thai restaurant, my personal recommendations are - Thai or Crab Fried Rice, Tom Yum soup, Crab Delight and any of the rice noodles.

Food has gone down hill since I was there a few years. Got take out and the women at the counter acted fake nice with snotty undertones. When I asked for some chili sauce I was charged .53 cents. Luckily I had a dollar on me. Won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Delivery was scheduled ahead of time via their own service and they started making it when it was supposed to be delivered. 4 different dishes, all below average.
Also, we got food poisoning. I should have checked the reviews first.

The toughest and hard to chew chicken I ever had.. won't recommend their chicken satay at all. We told them, but they were like, "Oh ok," and completely ignored. Didn't like the atmosphere, as the flies continued to buzz around the plates and fell in one. Out of three dishes that we ordered, 1 was very bad, 1 was OK, and the other item was good.

The server was incredibly rude. Was not smiling. He looked very annoyed. He brought in greasy plates disgusting when asked for cleaner plate he brought in a towel and just wiped the plates and that didn’t do anything to the grease. I asked the server for a clean towel and some soap to clean the plates myself he got annoyed, so we asked him for a take away container instead of the plate, and to eat inside he said only take away will give you any kind of literally kicked us out dirty rude zero stars

A beautiful large fish tank welcomes you into the space. The service was friendly, food was good and the prices were fair.

We have eaten here for decades, ever since they opened. There is no consistency with the quality of the food. Sometimes delicious and other times not! We're completely done after last night's experience. One entree was a noodle dish with no meat, just vegetables. The vegetables were extremely overcooked and mushy. I called and they offered to remake it. I drove 30 minutes round trip and the replacement was just as bad as the first! I called to let her know and she said she had checked it and it was fine. This entree could only be fine as baby food! The customer service, has also been horrible at times over the years.

Not a Vegetarian Friendly place. Everything either has Oyster sauce or Shrimp paste. Staff/Chef/Owner does not consider dietary restriction and not very friendly to answer questions.

There was plastic cooked into my food. They were very standoffish when I asked them for a refund. They eventually, begrudgingly, said they would give me one. After two weeks I finally received it. The food is alright, kinda overpriced for the quality(low quality).

We came with our friend's family. My little boy was emotional after sitting down in the restaurant and I was trying to comfort him. Then the waitress came and told us with an angry tone that other customers were complaining about his sobbing. My friend was sitting quietly with us all the time and noticed NO customer talked to her about it at all. All complaints all came from the waitress herself. This was not the whole story. My husband then decided to take our boy out of the restaurant to get some fresh air (And they never came back to the restaurant after that). As soon as they left, the waitress came to our table and commented with a horrible and mean tone that " You need to be aware that others are complaining. You should have taken him out when he is crying!" Excuse me, don't you see my husband has already taken him out? Where does that attitude come from? Where is your empathy, if there is any? Ironically, We ended up receiving a bill with 18% tips added automatically! I paid and promised myself I will never be back!

The spoons are stainless steel here, like everywhere else. The restaurant's name is an indication of high quality ingredients and attention to detail. It does not actually relate to metallurgy or precious metal serving utensils.

The average weight of a spoon is 16.5 grams or about half the weight of one silver 1 ounce coin. A solid silver spoon is worth about $12.

Nice setting to dine in and food is also packaged well for delivery. Unnecessarily large speed bumps in parking lot.

The food is pretty good, but consistency can vary a bit depending on the day. Overall, still probably the best Thai food in the Woodinville/Redmond ridge area.

I had takeout lunch from here today, and it was great. I definitely did not have the bad experience that some others have mentioned. The staff were friendly, quick, and the food was delicious. I had the Cashew chicken lunch combo.

Food seemed to have been frozen, heated in microwave, not prepared to order. Bean rice noodles so so. Vegetable seafood dish dry. Tea okay. Would not recommend, disappointed, will not return.

I have never written a one-star review for a restaurant before. And unfortunately this is a one star based off of the fact that I didn’t ever get to dine there which is even worse. But this needs to be said. If your restaurant offers delivery service do not accept an order at the end of the night (but still before closing mind you), then confirm with the delivery service that the food was being made, confirm it was finished and ready for pick up, allow a driver to waste their time go there, and then be completely closed. You wasted the driver’s time and their customer’s time. It’s unacceptable. I don’t know the conditions of how this all occurred but last night I ordered food after coming home from a late flight. All I really wanted was some curry and soup for me and my partner. We waited a half an hour till you guys confirmed it was made. The delivery service sent a driver to your location and 30 minutes later he called me outside very apologetic for the fact that your business was completely closed. Why did this happen?? The last thing anyone wants to deal with at the end of a long day after paying for delivery and waiting an hour for it when you were already starving to begin work is to then have to make food or go to bed hungry because of an early morning. Just want an explanation and an apology to be honest. I hope management/owners see this review and respond.

Staff is unprofessional, rude and lazy! It’s like they are disappointed every time a customer walks in. If you walk in 1 hour before their closing time, they will insist on you to take away food instead of dining in and ask rudely why you couldn’t come in earlier. Really great place to get some Thai food. The service is great and I don’t see any issues with any of the waiters that other reviews mentioned. The food had plenty of flavor. The food was also delicious and spot on and the pricing was not too high. Great place for families or a group of friends. (The pork ribs are really good)

Entire family is sick from this place. $80 of food last night and even my 19 month old has food poisoning. I would like to point out that over the last 4 years Everytime we purchase food it's more expensive and less food. I wouldn't suggest this food to anyone. As far as Pacific northwest Thai goes, it's bottom of the barrel adequate. If your hungry/starving yes but if you have time, make another decision. Our family will never give them a dollar again.

There were hardly 6 people in 3 tables when we went, and still they got our order wrong, then when the order came they didnt give us utensils till we asked for them, when we asked for to go boxes, they gave us some so small that the food wouldn't fit.

Food is usually better than it was tonight. Liquid from Eggplant order leaked everywhere and there was not much eggplant in the dish. Scimpy portion of rice, wasn't enough for the order of eggplant and green curry.

What a pleasant place to enjoy a delicious meal! One of us had spinach and chicken with peanut sauce over rice - the best peanut sauce we have found on the East Side - and the other had chicken breast with veggies over rice. The chicken was tender and moist and the seasoning was flavorful without being too spicy. This was our first visit and I know we'll be back.

(Sep 2021) I am willing to increase the rating to 5 stars. The same lady changed her attitude and has been greeting customers and drivers nicely. She also checked the details of the order. No more excuses like not receiving the delivery orders. Also important is that meals have been prepared in time. So it is fair to update the restaurant's rating.

(May 2020) Iam a Uber Eats driver. The employees were not trained to check food delivery orders on their machine regularly. They just ignored it if they were busy. They wouldn't make Uber Eats or Doordash meals until the delivery driver arrived and knew to cut the line of awaiting customers for to-go pickups, to notify the restaurant to start making food for Uber or Doordash orders. The employees were having so many excuses like "The order appeared just now." or even "We didn't received the order!" Once my customer told me he placed the order around 4PM, and I was dispatched and came in around 5:30PM. I got his food around 6:30PM (waiting for an hour is very bad for drivers). I gave up delivering the second customer's order because the restaurant just started to make it after at least 5 minutes after I got the first customer's meal and I didn't want the food in my hand to get cold. Uber or Doordash should stop cooperating with such kind of restaurants!

Reasonably priced Thai. Been at this location for many years and has solid local clientele for takeout and (recently) dine in. Be sure to specify how spicy you want your food.

This is my favorite Thai place in Redmond. When we lived in Lynnwood we used to go to the Silver Spoon there, so when we moved to Redmond we were really happy to have the other Silver Spoon location close to us!

Service was subpar, food was worse than school cafeteria food, and when we did not get part of our order, they still gave part of our order but at the time we had enough. I would give 0 stars if possible.

What take out order takes 2 hours to make? Absolutely ridiculous.

My experience was with yum woon sen as take out. This noodle salad was light, fresh and so flavorful. Would be a great healthy meal or perfect as a side dish with something richer and heavier. I loved it!

I was recently there with family on a Saturday and the food was beyond excellent! Went there today and the food was barely warm and the rice was very, very dry. Guess I should only eat here on the weekends.

This is our go-to Thai restaurant. I always let my fiancé order for me at random and I have never been disappointed. We love the fresh rolls and crab delights as appetizers and I’ve loved every entree I’ve had. 5-Stars every time!!

I payed 19 dollars for panang curry that is so little and they put only 4 shrimp. They forgot to put rice that supposed to be included with it. The woman working there is was so rude when I asked them for the rice.

There is a waiter(with false eyelashes) very rude but other ppl are extremely nice. The only reason I think she can still work there is she is the owner or owner’s relatives. I used to visit a lot since there is no good restaurants around before this waiter starts work there.

They are doing a great job practicing social distancing, set up for pick-up orders is very responsible! Food is delicious, loved the panang and green curry, pad kee mao, fresh rolls, chicken satay & amazing peanut sauce.
