Familiar curries, noodles & rice dishes round out the menu at this cheerful, laid-back Thai eatery.
We have eaten here for years and have been loyal customers. That being said, I have noticed a significant difference in quality of certain dishes. The crispy vegetable spring rolls were always my favorite, but now have no filling and are ALL wrapper. maybe one sprout. I would not recommend wasting your money on these. Not sure if they do this just for to go orders so you don’t notice til you are already home with the food. Hopefully they take their reviews into consideration
I guess I had a different experience than others because I see plenty of positive reviews. I ordered chicken satay and the Pad See Ew with Tofu. The satay was dry and the noodles of the pad see ew was completely clumped together, so much so that I used a knife to cut the noodles into bite sized pieces. The tofu were way over fried. Overall the flavor was very odd. Service was less than par. The waitress came to my table once at the very end to bring me the check and get me water when she realized my glass was empty. I'll likely not go back. I'm thinking mine was a unique experience.
A favorite place for my Mother and I to go for lunch! The food is always so amazing and the staff greets us as if we are family and have been missed! I love the atmosphere. It is casual dining but feels a little fancy because of the decor.
Thai Elephant
Where do I start? The amazing service!! The amazing food!! Or the amazing atmosphere!! Ok, ok, the food ! Seems so simple and down to earth ingredients. Put together in a way that is just simply amazing. The depth of flavors is something else. Meanwhile, the vibrant colors and aromatics of the entrays had my mouth watering. If you eat with your eyes first, then I devoured mine before it even hit the table. Crazy thing; it was as good as it looked. I could go on and on about the food. The service was just about as good as the food. So friendly, fast, and attentive. All this, in a setting that is really nicely done and not over the top. It's just a wonderful place to have an amazing meal. Thank you, Thai Elephant, I will be back for sure.
This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered the drunken noodles with pork, and it came with loads of delicious veggies and perfectly spiced. The pumpkin curry with chicken was great, and I think it’s hard to make that well. The papaya salad was solid also. I asked for medium spicy and it was perfect for me.
Thai Elephant is hands down the best in Tri-Cities. Absolutely AMAZING food. Best Thai in Tri-Cities! I love the salad rolls with shrimp and the green curry. You do have to wait a little bit for food, but GREAT food takes time. It's family-owned and local, which makes it even better. The best!
Several tasty gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options. Heads up- you cannot order the lunch menu to go and will be charged dinner pricing.
The best Thai food ever

Ice water was tasty and that’s when I knew it was a clean atmosphere. My spicy drunken noodles were the best Ive had in tricities area. The thai ice tea wasn’t too sweet! Great place! For 2 it was $55
Di mak mak! This place is so good it is hard to know what to rave about. Food is top notch and authentic, service is always great, and the atmosphere is classy but relaxed.

Beautiful food! Best Thai food in town.
Delicious every time!
Awesome place to go for food with your family.
Love ambiance and pretty window view on evening lights..cool wood elephant at entrance...fun date night vibe. Clean. The Thai iced tea was less sweet than some, but ample and delicious. Pad Thai, which we love, was meh..brandish and not alot of chicken or add ins. We like super yummy PT...but fun night out.

Cute local Thai place with vegetarian options!
Food is mediocre. I got chicken satay and basil fried rice
Refreshing! Service was professional prompt and overall the best service I've had in a long time. Food was delicious and didn't take long at all. Vegan options and knowledgeable staff regarding such options.
They do not honor their gift cards.

Worst Thai food I have ever had. Overpriced and disappointing to say the least. Their pad Thai has ketchup in it their peanut sauce is expensive and gross. I will never go back here again . Have ha Thai has way better pad Thai than these people
They don't even use tamarind in their pad Thai they use ketchup literally the grossest pad Thai I have ever had. They also charge 3.50 for a tiny cup of *peanut sauce" that is literally just melted peanut butter never going here again I paid $50 for two chicken pad this and two peanut sauces and it was nasty and literally had 1 or two tiny pieces of chicken no green onion and hardly any eggs at all . Complete waste of money
Unfortunately the pad Thai smelled had a rancid smell too it. I had to use multiple limes and sauce too eat what I could. It smelled like a wet dog/ kinda a dead smell too .
The food came out suspiciously fast/ main dishes/ no more than 5 minutes. I didn’t touch the “beef” it looked really suspect. 🐕
I’m just hoping now that I don’t get food poisoning.
Silver lining, the potstickers were good, but so are the ones from Costco, soooo.
Beware of the Pad Thai …
Cheers
Good Thai food. Good service.

Hands down the best thai beef salad I've ever had. Best takeout ive had in the tri.
Khao Soi is fantastic.
Great food and great service. Large selection and very quick service.
Super nice owners. Good flavors
My favorite place in tri-cities. I love Thai food. It’s the best when you go with a big group and then share the food. My favorite are the Panang curry, beef salad, pineapple fried rice, and orange chicken! I also love their Thai tea.
The service is always friendly and welcoming. And the restaurant itself is nice and clean inside.
Real Thai, but having a expat with us sure helped. Do not miss the place. From a falong.
The food was delicious, friendly service, decent decor for the touch. On the outside it doesn't look that great, but it's worth trying the food.
Consistently great food and service every time we go. My favorite is the Pad Kra Pao - chop chop style!
Love this place! Possibly my favorite Thai restaurant in tc for eat-in or takeout. Usually pad Thai but I've tried other entrees as well. Salad rolls with peanut sauce recently were delicious...
I travel for a living and have eaten many different Thai varieties. This is the worst I’ve ever come across. I paid 27 dollars for a Thai coffee and an order of Pad Thai. I took two bites and pushed it away. Tasted like a bottle of Ketchup. If you want the real deal - this isn’t it.
In my opinion Thia Elephant is the best thia food around and is always my first choice for thia food . I love the duck plates!
This was amazing! The yellow curry vegetable was out of this world and the cashew chicken was astoundingly delicious!
Just consistently the very best Thai. Spring rolls, that are always very fresh, with the peanut sauce kissed with just the right amount of heat, giving you that rich fresh taste!! Or the chicken with cashew nut, again perfectly seasoned, and that rich mouth explosion of flavor!!! (Chefs kiss) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Delicious food, wonderfully served, and reasonably priced. We will be back!

Amazing amount of food for the price, the chicken pad thai easily lasts me 2-3 lunches. Very tasty as well.
Delicious Thai food and beautiful decor
We have no Thai food in Moses Lake so we always try to find a good Thai restaurant when we go to other towns. We were very pleased with Thai Elephant. The flavors were so amazing. The mark of good Thai food is when they can combine lots of spice but not obscure other flavors. Thai Elephant does it so well. Good portion sizes and wide selection on the menu. We will be back!
Fantastic service, delicious food, great atmosphere. Authentic Thai cuisine with many unique dishes that I haven’t found in other Thai restaurants.
Great experience. First time here, the waiter was really good and friendly, we order shrimp with vegetables and I told him to make it spicy and it was really good. I'll be back to this place again soon.
First time here and we loved it!!
Muy buena comida lo recomiendo
The service was great, the waiter was so nice, the food was great. The orange chicken was really good and the shrimp stir fry was really great it was number 48. Although this place was great
Bad service. Also, when I asked what’s the Wi-Fi password, I was informed that “yeah we have a Wi-Fi but I don’t know the password “and I was like isn’t this your job to figure it out and tell your customer. Anyways, vibe isn’t good at all so I had to pack before I finish my meal. It’s been a while since the last time I only tipped 15% for dinner but that’s a lot for them
Got takeout, which we have done several times. Opted for potstickers with our Red Curry and Pad Thai. Potstickers were HORRIFIC! not a soft dumpling... They were crispy and very sad. The other dishes were the usual : excellent. What a shame...
So we are very disappointed in this location, our usual spot was closed for a few days, and so we tried these guys. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING!!!! The food tasted like it was from a pre-made box. There was no sauce, it was dry, the meat was VERY overcooked, there was more ridiculous veggies then there was noodles or meat. We ordered the Fried Rice and The Pad See Ew and 2 Thai Teas. It cost us $50!!!!!!! I was willing to overlook the price if the food was good... but NOPE.. it was worse than getting a frozen box at Walmart and cooking it at home. We will NEVER go back, I'll order from Double Dragon Chinese if The Thai Garden on Union St. In Kennewick is closed again.
I can't believe this place calls itself GOOD Thai Food... YUCK!
We met friends for lunch and enjoyed the experience immensely. We highly recommend Elephant Thai. The restaurant is in a strip but tastefully appointed with customary white cotton tablecloths and real silverware. It is clean and located with easy access. The service is Thai service which is always impeccable and pleasant. Menu has everything you want from authentic fresh salad rolls included shrimp with peanut dipping sauce to crispy spring fried rolls accompanied with sweet chili dipping sauce. They make an excellent Thai tea here. I ordered yellow chicken curry that was so delicious and perfectly seasoned. My wife ordered the spicy and sour soup with rice noodles and chicken (Tom Yum Noodle soup). Our friends had Penang Curry dish with vegetables which looked amazing! Give your tastebuds a treat and go Elephant Thai.
My wifes idea, but I'm glad we went. Their food is awesome and the service is too. If you like Thai food this is the place to go.
The food over here is good! I don’t hate it, I had the seafood fried rice and it was good. However, the service! Great! Very kind servers!
Great excelent place to eat
Food is always great!
One of our favorite places to eat out, the food is always amazing and the service is wonderful. The pad Thai is probably our favorite dish to order.
We stop here any time we travel through the tri-cities and I literally look forward to knowing I get to stop here. The food is SO soooo good and the service is fast and friendly. 10/10 recommend
Our waiter was great. Made excellent suggestions and shared some good stories about the dishes that we were interested in.
Elegant and clean ambience. Courteous wait staff. Served in a timely manner. Chicken pad Thai and beef salad were delicious. Different spice levels offered. Large/share sized servings.
Phad Thai was great. Service attentive. Decor looked nice.
Food, customer service and atmosphere is superb in this restaurant! This is my first time eating here and I ordered one of the soups and it was so delicious! We also ordered fried calamari, sweet and sour chicken and yakisoba! The Thai Iced Tea is a must try 💯The server was absolutely lovely 🥰 and we’re definitely coming back to eat here many more times!
A friend invited me here for lunch. I've driven by here many, many times never even noticing it. What a shame that was because for the first time I tried Thai iced coffee. I'm in love. It is the best thing I've ever drank. I wish I could drink a few daily until I'm sick of them lol. WOW! WOW! WOW! The food we ordered doesn't even register with my taste buds after tasting the coffee. But here it goes. We ordered and shared the eggplant lovers stir fry and the pad Thai, started off with "egg rolls", which I say is wrong. They were more like spring rolls. Looked nothing like an egg roll. Even tasted more like a spring rolls. BUT. They were the second best thing with the coffee first. When I see "Lovers" at the end of a menu item, like "Meat Lovers" I assume that means there's a lot of whatever the "Lovers" is right, don't you as well? So we get the "Eggplant LOVERS" stir fry. We had to actively look to see if there was even a few slices of eggplant, far, FAR from LOVER status. Disappointing and misleading. The pad Thai was not very memorable. Bland and lacked vegetables , mostly ...hardly nothing. The taste and even the color was not traditional Pad Thai. White rice was dry with hard pieces. I let my friend take home what was left which was enough for two more meals. Once I got home I was very thirsty and drank a lot of water which tells me the food has MSG and too much salt. I eat one meal a day and am disappointed todays one meal was here. I will stop by for the Thai iced coffee tho. My friend btw enjoyed her meal and loved the black rice pudding. The servers were very courteous and efficient and the restaurant looked clean. I would recommend for those who are easy to feed. I am on the picky side. I would not turn down another invite to dine here but I'd be sure to tell them to hold the salt and msg and I'd spend more time looking at the food choices. I am willing to try again because they do have a lot of meatless items.
Tried the Showering Rama it was really good. My husband got the duck curry, he liked it a lot.
Food was cold didn't care for the prices either 😕won't recommend or go back.
Best staff and best food.
Love this place! I have been here a few times and the service is always great. I unashamedly get the same thing every time which is the red curry and I'm just in love! Best one I've had.
The Thai Elephant is absolutely 5 star for the Tricities and beyond. You could not ask for more attentive and speedy delivery of authentic Thai!
The Thai Iced Teas are perfectly sized and new level!
The Drunken Noodles are perfectly spiced and textured.
The Pineapple Curry was full of flavor and a tad of sweetness.
The Tom Yum soup came out in a flaming dish and tasted like fire!
We seriously were greeted, served, and sent on our way faster than a night of sleep with a bit of left overs and a sense of appreciation from being treated so well!
(@palatehacker)
Second time here. We always get fresh, well prepared dishes. service friendly, welcoming. we'll be back.
I’ve been here three times and the food just keeps getting better and better! The staff is super friendly and vigilant and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I would suggest getting the variety plate of appetizers. They’re one of the few restaurants that properly clean their shrimp. The last time I went, I had the pineapple curry and it was amazing! Their prices are reasonable, and the food makes for great leftovers.
Food was good.
Fantastic food and service!!!
Great, personalized service, great food. One small downgrade, the bathroom needs an upgrade.
Nice restaurant with very good and prompt service. Their food is awesome.
Absolutely outstanding food and kind service, I love to bring my wife and family here.. The Kao Soi and mango sticky rice is fantastic every time. All the food tastes delicious and my kids love the orange chicken. We always look forward to coming here and eating amazing food. Everyone here is kind and helpful and the atmosphere of this restaurant is always so welcoming we love the music too, this place is a gem💎 everything is special about this restaurant and also it's just very relaxing.
Average American Thai food. Nice place.
The food is always great
My favorite place I used to shamelessly go once a week. Delicious food, fantastic service and the right vibe
I've been here many times, and it's one of the top Thai restaurants in town. The food was a bit off tonight, but they still get a 5 star rating from me due to my overall experiences here over the years. Service is always fast and friendly, and portions are huge. Served family style, and leftovers are always good. I particularly like their orange chicken because of the fresh made sauce, but today there was way too much mushy breading and very little chicken. Potstickers seemed like they were deep fried, and were overcooked. Thai ice tea is a huge serving! This is one of my go-to places in Kennewick when I'm craving vegetables.
The food tasted great and the presentation was nice. I liked the piano music they were playing and the relaxing environment. The only thing that was disappointing was the tom kha soup was very off. It was separated and the chicken was so tough and rubbery. Tasted great but for $17, unacceptable. I will come back and give them another chance.
Really enjoyed the food here. Freshest and best tasting Thai food. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
We haven't been to the Thai Elephant for quite some time and were really glad we returned. Ordered the potstickers for an appetizer, and spicy duck (comes in a bowl) and chicken Pad Thai noodles for the main courses. Both were excellent, and we had enough leftovers for another meal at home. Service was pleasant, professional, and friendly. We'll be back!
Very good food,pleasant service
Great mom & pop place. Some of the best panang currie we've had.
Quiet, super friendly place. Great wine selection. I had pineapple fried rice; husband had sizzling duck. A fine dining atmosphere but very reasonable prices.
I liked this restaurant. Good food, good portions, decent price, nice atmosphere. Waitresses were bustling about and always quick to help get me extra rice or refill a drink. Food was done quicker than I expected. My only real complaint was my pineapple curry the pineapple tasted really strange. I order pineapple curry cause I love pineapple. When it tasted odd it really was a disappointment. Will not stop me from going back in the future giving them another chance trying other dishes they offer.
Yummmm!♡
Love the food here and the staff are great.
Stopped in for a comforting bite on a dreary, freezing day, and I was not disappointed. I was the first customer of the day, and was promptly seated. My server was delightfully friendly. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken at a number 2 spicy level. It was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spiciness for my liking with a great ratio of ingredients. My photo does not do the presentation justice as it was an afterthought once I had stirred it all together.
Excellent quality.
Romantic setting, wonderful service plus Gluten Free options.
If you love the food here you're potentially missing out of half the experience by not dining in. I usually ordered my food for pick-up and fell in love with the tranquil vibe inside while I waited. I told my boyfriend I wanted to go on a date there one day.
This place didn't disappoint. All the curry options are gluten free and outside of the fried food options others can use a gluten free substitutes for sauces.
The service of the waiter was perfect. They were the perfect balance of tentative without interrupting the moment.
Their Cabinet Savion was great for those new to red wine and the candle lit table complemented the wonderfully prepared duck dishes we ordered.
This was all 5's for me. Such a romantic way to spend my saturday! We'll definitely be back.
My mom has been coming here for years and she always orders her food gluten free because she has an allergy. Unfortunately they made a mistake and instead of correcting the order they refused to take accountability or offer any sort of solution. The quality of their food has drastically diminished and is no longer worth the price. They made my drunken noodles and forgot the sauce once and didn’t offer to correct the dish then either.
The service was excellent without being annoying. The ambiance was quiet and intimate even with our group of five people. The food was only okay. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything stellar.
Delicious! The Tom yum soup was tremendous and the drunken noodles were fantastic. Definitely coming back again and recommending them to others.
Great food. Great menu options. Great service.
Food is good but they always act like they don’t understand English!! Never going there again!!
Good food. Good service
Loved everything about my experience. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is so pleasant, and the service was prompt, friendly, and quite capable.
So I've struggled with some Thai food I ordered on Grub Hub since moving here. Not sure if things got weird in transit, but that's doubtful. So I decided not to get my hopes up.
The ambience is really lovely here. The server we had was a sweetheart. I ordered drunken noodles with tofu and green tea.
DELICIOUS! I'm happy to have a delicious Thai restaurant to go to. Hooray!
Had the orange chicken. It was good!
Ordered take-outs... No lunch menu. High price point. Average taste. MSG! We both had dry mouth and drank a lot of water all afternoon.
My wife and I love Thai elephant! Awesome curry and amazing pineapple fried rice!
Good peanut sauce. Server asked every patron except us what spice level they wanted. When my dish was delivered, I asked for a spice rack. Was given a bottle of some sort of chili sauce. Very disappointed. Nothing here but the peanut sauce was worth mentioning. Not returning. Where is the good Thai in this area?!?!
Great food. Great Service. Great people. One of my favorite places to eat in the Tri-cities.
Great place for dinner, white table cloth, nice atmosphere. Yummy food, enough for leftovers. Family friendly. This business also does great take out.
Best yellow curry!
Simply put....DELICIOUS!!! AMAZING!!! We're visiting from Utah and can tell you that we have not had Thai as good as Thai Elephant! We got the Tom Kha soup, #39- panang curry, pad Thai, and orange chicken with a little spice! All were great, plus It's a father-son ran business! Definitely go, you won't regret it!
Such good food! Can’t wait to come back and try other dishes!!
I had the jungle noodles with shrimp and they were amazing! My sister had chicken satay and a side of rice and loved it!
My kids love the elephant mascot that is there most days. I don’t know what they feed him but he is super gentle and the elephant rides are only $5.
The food is good. The wait is okay. Not very spicy even though I asked for the most spicy.
This is a very amazing restaurant! the food is spectacular and they have a wide variety of options to choose from!
On my order I ordered green chicken curry and did not receive any rice or salad with my order. I called to ask what comes with the dinner and they specified a salad and rice. Then looked at my order and said that no salad comes with the order and did not offer to give me my rice.
The best Thai food in Tri cities!! Phad Thai has a lot of flavor compared to other places. Orange chicken is fried perfectly and super delicious sauce to go with it. The portions are very generous and prices are reasonable. We live in Benton city and it’s worth the drive!
Got takeout from there last night. Two pad Thai and chicken fried rice. The flavor of the pad Thai tasted like something had spoiled. It was sour, not “tangy”. The real issue was with the fried rice. It both smelled and tasted like fish. Felt nauseated last night and today after a few bites. Ended up barely touching the food, I was grossed out. Then took the food back to them today and told them about the food. Rather than wanting to fix the issue, they wanted to argue with me about the rice tasting like fish. Don’t know if they are storing the rice next to fish or what. After a bit of them trying to argue and me explaining that the food tasted like fish, they offered to remake it. I explained to them the last thing I want is to eat more food that made me feel sick. I paid $55 for the food and tipped $15. $70 for food that was not edible. Not sure if it was an off day or what, went there because of all the good reviews. I will stick to Soi 705.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing. A fun little restaurant with a great atmosphere and amazing food. There was lots of items on the menu to choose from. The serving sizes are quite large per meal. The food was cooked extremely well. Customer service was very kind. The store its self was very clean and was enjoyable to be in. Would highly recommend stopping in.
I had heard good things, so I tried this place out. I was impressed! I have Celiac, so I have a lot of difficulty explaining what that entrails of a restaurant doesn't already know how intense it is.
The waiter was very knowledgeable about which dishes were naturally gluten free and which could be adapted with their gf soy sauce. He was super up front about which dishes suffered from the substitution, which was nice.
I got the Pad Thai and Panang Curry. Both were excellent. The Thai ice tea is huge, and the cucumber salad was generous enough to share. I will definitely go back.
Love the Tom Kha soup and lime Thai iced tea! <3
Great food, orange chicken is the best, pad thai is good, peanut sauce is excellent also.
Good food. Nice portion sizes. We did take out which was convenient and on time.
Not a bad place, loved the friendly staff and service. Thank you so much for serving us.
Great food, we've been coming here for several years and we're never been disappointed. Great food and staff. They are closed from 3pm-4pm daily
Great food, great value!
Pad Thai could have used a bit more chicken, quite good otherwise.
It's hands down the best thai food I've eaten in Tri-Cities, just as good or better than most thai restaurants in Portland I've tried. The food is fresh, not over salted yet it really hits the spot.
The Thai Tea here is my favorite! So many delicious options to choose from and fair prices also. Will happily come enjoy lunch again soon :)
