I had a fantastic experience at this sushi restaurant! Sushi Combo B was perfect - fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The wait time was impressively low, making the dining experience even better. The atmosphere is really nice, with a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely coming back!

Diner Review №2

Best sushi I've ever had. Everything I've tried is absolutely delicious. Please do not skip on this restaurant!!!

Diner Review №4

I had an amazing experience here great good and friendly service

Diner Review №5

Amazing sushi in a super cute space. Staff was friendly. Even though we knew we were over spending a bit, we couldn't help but order a couple more rolls. Very tasty. Next time we will have to try some of the Thai food they offer as well. Plus we liked the music.

Diner Review №6

Had a great time at Toma, this time exploring their back bar. The relaxed setting, with a cool wall sculpture, was perfect for an impromptu date night. Happy hour had a good variety, and the Panang curry was great. The friendly staff added to the experience. Definitely worth a visit!

Delicious sushi

Diner Review №10

The rolls are good, good rice, well formed shapes, but the price led me to expect a bit more fancier than what’s offered.

Diner Review №11

I love this place. Very consistent quality and reasonable prices. The staff is nice and welcoming.

Diner Review №12

Good sushi

Diner Review №13

We ordered a mix of Chinese and Japanese dishes. The Chinese were much better than the Japanese.

We were quite disappointed with their sushi. The meal was quite overpriced as well. I don't mind spending a few hundred, but unfortunately the meal was underwhelming.

Diner Review №15

Fantastic food Fabulous service. We will be back !! Thank you for the fun birthday 🎂

Diner Review №17

Apparently the old Ikiiki Sushi is now replaced by the new "Toma Sushi." The menu has changed significantly, and the food looks much more delicate than before (yes this is opinionated). We got what they called the Sea Turtle roll and the Unagi Don. They are a bit on the pricier side but the taste is solid. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Would visit again.

Diner Review №19

Drink options are great! Sushi is amazing

Diner Review №20

Diner Review №21

This place has been rebranded "Toma", so don't be confused if you miss the turn into the parking lot! The sashimi was fresh and we enjoyed a few tasty sushi rolls as well. Service was prompt and friendly. The decor leaves much to be desired, it feels like you've entered an old fish warehouse (the restaurant smells a little fishy). Clientele was mostly middle-aged couples. So it's not a sexy, romantic spot for date night, but you can get a good sushi meal here.

Diner Review №22

The sushi was fresh and delicious. The difference in sushi is the rice, and the rice here complements the fish. Not a flashy sushi restaurant, but highly recommend the food.

Wow - food was AMAZING!! If you want good Chinese food, look no further! Great food, great service!

Diner Review №27

After many years of driving past this spot we decided to give it a shot. Great location, plenty of free parking, and decent food. We ordered two rolls I've never had before, 1) Golden Dragon and 2) Double Tuna Roll - both were delish. Our only complaint was the selection of music that was playing. Very very odd for an Asian restaurant.

Diner Review №28

The other day I was on my way over to my son’s house to work on a boat building project. I had just returned from a trip overseas, so I was too tired to make lunch before going over. I had seen Ikiiki Sushi and Chinese many times when I visited my son. It felt like a perfect day to give them a try. I had to loop around on Lake CIty way to get in, but once there, parking was easy.
It was a miserable rainy day and a bit early for lunch, so I was not too surprised when I saw that the dining room was empty. I had a choice between sitting at the sushi bar or at a table. I was in the mood for Chinese, so I took the table. Everything in the dining room was neat and clean. There was a nice set up on the table with a napkin, chopsticks and a little porcelain soy sauce decanter.
The staff was busy getting ready for the day, so it took a bit for anyone to bring me a menu. I ordered hot tea and looked over the options. They have all the usual Chinese options plus Japanese noodles and sushi. The prices are a bit on the high side, but not outrageous. I ordered an egg roll and General Tso’s Chicken. I like spicy food, so I went for the four star option. I wanted to try the sushi, but at those prices, I would have to wait for my next visit.
The egg roll was actually two egg rolls sliced on a diagonal. Instead of the usual goopy sweet and sour sauce, it came with a bowl of sweetened vinegar. The filling was meeting and fully packed. The wrapper was fried to perfect crunchiness. I gobbled it up.
I was hungry, so when a plate piled high with chicken showed up, I was thrilled. It came with a small bowl of white rice. I spooned up some rice and decorated it with pieces of chicken. The sauce was a bit too goopy, but full of spice and flavor. I thinned it out with soy sauce and mixed it into the rice, then I dug in.
The chicken was perfectly cooked - nice and juicy under a crunchy shell. I was in General Tso’s heaven! It took quite a while to work my way through the huge pile, but I enjoyed every minute of it. If the rest of the menu is like this, I have found my new favorite Chinese restaurant.

Great service. Absolutely great food and presentation.

Went to kenmore location. The sushi was some of the best we had. Very fresh and tasty. Service was 10/10. Very friendly and attentive! Will go again

Diner Review №37

Good food! Great service even when we were there a lolot of out going take outs.

Diner Review №38

Ikiiki is a wonderful place to get Japanese and Chinese dishes. The staff are super nice and attentive, and I love being able to get crab rangoons, sushi, ramen and honey walnut prawns all in one place.

Diner Review №41

Daughter and I had early dinner. Orange chicken fabulous, House Chow Mein best we have ever had, Soft shelled crab and mango roll amazing. Service was great.

Diner Review №42

Diner Review №43

Little spendy, but good. Great service

Diner Review №44

I know prices everywhere are crazy high however I was disappointed in the quality of the sushi for the price. I ordered tuna rolls and the tuna tasted and smelled old. The roll was tiny.

Their Chinese food on the other hand, besides being greasy, is delicious and worth ordering!

We only sit in the bar. We like to visit with friends that come in. This is a friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant. The food I have had was wonderful!!

Diner Review №50

Sweet and Sour Chicken was fantastic.

Diner Review №51

AMAZING! Some of the BEST sushi I've ever had! The fish was SO fresh! Really unique & flavorful combinations. We will DEFINITELY be returning here for more! YUM!

Diner Review №52

I was here with a date and the perfect place to impress her.
The server made sure we were well taken care of.

Thank you

Diner Review №53

Change in bartender, change of watching sports, now TV shows. Change in personnel in front too.

Diner Review №54

Easy and fast to get delicious sushi here

Diner Review №55

4 people at our table, all eating different foods, and we each loved everything we ordered, and I loved the food I was able to sneak off other plates!

Diner Review №56

The food was amazing

Diner Review №57

So I just found out that how one of my friend’s sister got treated there! It was ridiculous to hear. First of all she was not a customer she was training to become staff member. However, after hard working one day, the manager lady said to her that she decided not to keep her. Also did not pay her for the day she worked! My niece were joking about that she was crying and feeling how people can be bad after how she got treated there and seem not to have any problem anymore but I found it ridiculous!!! I know she should have said what happened to her immediately and we should have given proper care.
I would give minus five star if I could have.

Update: It was way before 2018. Next time pay for the trainee!!!
I am sure you know who I am talking about. Unless you use people like that often and lost your numbers in between!!!

Diner Review №58

Great service and food.❤

Diner Review №59

Amazing. Was skeptical after some of the other reviews of the non sushi, but every dish we had was fantastic, during father's day insanity no less. The gyoza were hand made, the yakisoba springy and insanely tender chicken, and probably the best pork katsu I've had anywhere near. As an Uber-Omnivore, surprisingly my favorite dish was the Garlic garden green beans with tofu in their house garlic sauce, my wife fell in love and I have to admit it was superb. Michelle the manager was extremely welcoming and friendly, well definitely be back.

Diner Review №60

Diner Review №61

Pretty great service, and great food

Diner Review №62

I highly recommend the ikiiki roll (smoked salmon and mango! Rarest flavor combo I have ever found!) and the crab Rangoon (there is no skimping on the crab for these babies!) Beautiful underwater decor for dining. Clean and excellent, friendly service. Sam is the best sushi chef!

Diner Review №63

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! We were excited to try this place. Advertises as “cocktail bar”, so when we arrived we asked if we could order our food to go and order a cocktail for while we wait. Well, the cocktail bar does not serve cocktails.

Then we wait a while to order, and when I finally do, I ask if I could order fried rice with my entre (served with white rice), and response was “Afraid not”. Now I expected to pay extra for the fried rice, but that wasn’t even an option. Just “AFRAID NOT”. So apparently they don’t serve anything on the menu and the cocktail bar doesn’t serve cocktails. No explanations, no suggestions, no service. So…WE LEFT!

Diner Review №64

They offer great food, and its seasoned just right. They offer good variety Their portions are for 2-3 people, so you get a lot. I think they are pricey.
Their location is kind of hidden and can easily be missed. They aren't a very large establishment. Reservations aren't necessary, but if your group is more than 4 people; you might want to give them a heads up. There is no need to dress up. Casual drop-in works. It's worth going to.

I've been here twice and both times the rolls have been great! We also tried the chicken pad thai and orange chicken - both were good but nothing out of the ordinary. I would spend money on the rolls instead. The noise level is low and we were seated immediately on both occasions.

Diner Review №69

Comfortable and pleasant setting. Large selection, fresh and tasty. A bit pricy, but then my outing was special. Classic oriental high skill food preparation.

I've been searching for a new sushi spot and this was perfect! Went with a friend and got a variety.
Expensive place, outdated atmosphere. Great service.

Ikiiki roll- AMAZING!!
Volcano roll was weird - so good except for the piece of lemon that had the peel. If you took that piece out, delicious! Who wants to deconstruct the roll, though. Bleh.
Friend got the rainbow roll- amazing!
Scallop sashimi - YES!
Tuna sashimi - YES!
Unagi - friend said YES
Sake sampler- so good!

Diner Review №74

The food was fresh but not as much flavor as we are used to. We wished they would have family style combos. We ordered 4 dishes and 2 appetizers and it was plenty for 4 of us to take home a leftover box.

Fantastic place that is visited a lot by the locals (and does an absurd amount of to-go business). The service is always top-notch, the ingredients always top-quality, and the ambience is wonderfully serene and quiet. Also has some of the best sushi, consistently, I've had in the Seattle area

Diner Review №81

Diner Review №82

Pan Asian. Always love the sushi (Ikki Ikki Roll is a favorite) and noodle dishes (many choices, I love the House Special Chow Mein, sesame noodles & Phad Kee Mao) are winter favorites and the soups are great for cold weather too. Full bar & good beer selection & friendly service. A family favorite for us locals.

Diner Review №83

The food was amazing absolutely amazing, the only critique that I have is the service was a little slow

Diner Review №84

Diner Review №85

Great neighborhood place to have fresh sushi, nice staff as always

Diner Review №86

Ikiiki (I'm told it means good times or a sense of well being) is a very good pan-Asian restaurant. 4.6 stars. The menu is tilted towards Japanese, with a wide variety of fresh sushi, yakisoba, udon, curry etc. Also featuring Chinese with general tsaos, Mongolian beef and mu shu among others. Throw in some Thai and you have something for pretty much everyone.

Diner Review №87

This is a review for the cocktail lounge. Come here expecting an unpretentious atmosphere with good food and lots of locals. Happy hour is on point! My wife and I come here on a regular basis.

Diner Review №88

Diner Review №89

Love the udon soup!!

Diner Review №90

Diner Review №91

Awesome food across the board. Great sushi.

Diner Review №92

Service was good. Food was average. The presentation was pretty, but sushi wasn't that impressive. Avoid the sea turtle dish.

Diner Review №93

Terrible food, terrible service

Diner Review №94

Love everything they have on the menu

Diner Review №95

The honey walnut prawns were so delicious!!!

Diner Review №96

Really tasty Japanese curry (tofu option). Probably will be back to try other dishes.

Diner Review №106

Diner Review №107

Another terrible experience as a delivery driver. I walked in and they looked at me like I was gonna rob the place.

Diner Review №108

Very oily. Not the best tasting.

Diner Review №109

I never tried Sukiyaki before I noticed it on the menu here. I always love Ikiiki for it's sushi and they always impress me. However, this time I was BLOWN AWAY! Lots of good flavor in the hearty Sukiyaki and my Rainbow Roll is just as delicious as it is artistic! Thank you for staying so consistent Ikiiki! You're my favorite GoTo location for when I'm craving GOOD sushi!!!!!!!

Diner Review №110

Sushi wasn't fresh. The atmosphere was poor. The waitress was really nice, but I'm sorry they have to work at a place with such poor quality sushi.

Diner Review №111

Diner Review №112

Sushi was good. Got the rainbow roll and flower roll. Everything was delicious 😋

Diner Review №133

Diner Review №134

Always clean, friendly and professional. The sushi is served in generous portions.

Diner Review №135

I'm done with this location they do not respect people's time and force you to wait constantly telling you it's almost ready but still don't have the order 20 minutes later

Stay away especially on the weekend!!!

They can't handle being busy and your orders will be very late

Diner Review №136

Diner Review №140

This is one of my favorite places in town. The sushi and cooked meals are both delightful. I'm pretty picky on both and have not been disappointed.

They are also on some delivery apps making it super convenient. Although, I think it's better to just go in and order directly so they have more of the profit.

Worth the trip 🙂

We’re here often enough that we’re regulars. Our waitress knows our names and knows our orders by heart. All the staff are great people, the bartender makes a wicked Mai Tai, and the sushi is always high quality.
We order a variety of things and enjoy them all - some of my favorites are the Vegas roll, the general tso’s chicken, the garden delight (green beans and garlic!) and the curry udon. Top notch every time.

Bad experience. Poor execution of service. Lost a longtime, loyal customer for good.

In response to the owner reply: Your indoor dining area had 2 customers at 6:45pm. You turned away a party of 6, which included 4 children. It was my sons 7th birthday, it was his desire to eat at your restaurant. What is your purpose as a business, to be health authorities or to provide services to customers to generate revenue and income for your employees? You deserve less than 1 star. None of us are sick in any way, and my wife is tested every 3 days because she is in medical school. Go ahead and enforce unlawful and discriminatory health checks if you think that'll make your business successful. But hey, I bet business is better than ever for you since you can turn away a party of 6 when it's completely dead inside. Don't worry though, we found another non-discriminatory restaurant to eat at. Best of luck with your health enforcement endeavors! I wonder what business will take over your space once you've become insolvent.

Diner Review №150

The sushi is always excellent, service is always friendly and we keep coming back week after week.

Diner Review №151

This was an amazing experience. Great service, great presentation of the rolls, and oh so yummy.

Diner Review №152

The tonkatsu fillet was fabulous... However all it came with was a bowl of rice. Service was pleasant.

Diner Review №153

Absolutely fantastic food, fast service, and nice staff. I drive 45 minutes to come here

Diner Review №154

Soooooo tasty, exceed my expectation. The salt and paper crab is so good that we’ve almost finished it when I took the picture.
The best Udon I’ve ever had! I mean the noddle is like hand made texture.

Diner Review №155

Diner Review №156

Really good food

Diner Review №157

The food (Spider Roll & Sushi, as well as Chicken Fried Rice) was really good. Fried Rice is some of the best we have had. Service was great and the restaurant is really clean, and has a full bar. Great visit

Our sushi came with a delicious sauce! I'm not sure if they always give sauce or if it came with the specialty "Cherry Blossom" roll we had, but it was super tasty with everything we got. New favorite local spot for sushi 🍣

Diner Review №162

Diner Review №163

Its was good! I loved the ocean city roll and the volcano roll.

Diner Review №164

The Ikiiki roll is my new favorite roll! I love this place. They are always so friendly and quick and the food is outstanding.

Diner Review №169

This is my favorite restaurant in the Kenmore area, try the salt and pepper shrimp.

Diner Review №170

My only regret is that I finally visited this place a year after moving away from Seattle! Excellent sushi rolls.

Diner Review №171

They definitely reduced their portion sizes while keeping the price the same. Scummy thing to do.

Diner Review №172

Diner Review №173

Diner Review №174

The staff is very kind however I found the food to be inedible. My boyfriend ordered chicken teriyaki which was rubbery, his whole entree seemed to be microwaved. I ordered a rainbow roll which, to be fair, was prepared differently than normal, however the quality just seemed poor. I find this experience to be unacceptable for the price point. I was not made to pay and the experience was handled professionally by staff but again the food was just awful for the price point. The atmosphere matches the quality of the food, but not the price. 😬

Terrible service as usual. Ordered and then 40 minutes later was told it would be an hour to hour and a half longer. Canceled order.

Diner Review №189

Ordered sushi from this restaurant for delivery. Friday night. Given 1hr to 1.5 hr delivery window. 2 mins before delivery window ended got notice "order canceled " no explanation. No other communication. At 8pm on Friday night after ordering at 6:20. Stay away if u actually want food.

Diner Review №190

Inedible teriyaki chicken.
It had little burnt flecks all over it that tasted terrible. This is not normal grill marks.

Diner Review №191

Gently crafted sushi. The rice exactly was not full of sugar, and pleasant to eat

Diner Review №192

Sushi was a let down other food is amazing

Diner Review №193

Diner Review №194

In my opinion, the service is quite poor. I came in with my blue collar attire and in my opinion I was treated with disrespect. If you fit the description of someone who likes like they work at home or in an office, you may get better treatment. If I could save at least one person some money, I hope it'd be you.

As for the food, I ordered yakisoba and left a two dollar tip for food that, in my opinion, was quite bland. Noodles tasted like olive oil and literally nothing else.

I have nothing against them but if I could advise, try to treat everyone as equally as you can. Thank goodness I only lost 15 dollars and didnt end up ordering more food. Like I said, hope you'll get a different experience than me but I look forward to going across the street for my yakisoba. Relatively the same price (maybe a buck more) but it's very tasty. Well worth the extra change.

This review is my opinion only. Hope you have a better experience and as for me, I want nothing to do with this place.

Diner Review №195

The sea turtle was so fresh and scrumptious and the Miso soup was amaaaaayzing!! I can’t even express enough how much I enjoyed my meal. I have been trying to find a good sushi place near me that offers rice free options and I think I found it:)

Diner Review №196

Diner Review №197

Somehow manage to do sushi and Chinese well. Haven't veered off our regular order much but I imagine they get it all right across the cuisines.

Diner Review №198

Diner Review №199

I ordered to go from my phone.. was just 2 blocks away and the food was ready 5 mins after I pulled in. Clean restaurant, Food was great and cost less than I expected. Try the salt and pepper prawns!!

Diner Review №200

I really wanted to like this place. Then I wanted to be able to tolerate it. It’s the only sushi place near me. Unfortunately, this place continues to disappoint. The first time I went in, the guy running the front of house wasn’t wearing a mask until I walked in. And he reused pens from a jar marked “clean”. A bit concerning during a pandemic, and the food was ok, so let’s try again.

2nd attempt - told 20 minutes for food to be ready. Takes 45+ and I spent more than half of that in the restaurant. Fine. Let’s try Uber Eats. People can estimate time incorrectly, and I can pickup the food when I get my notification. Get it and go. I still end up waiting 20 minutes after they marked it ready.

Overall the food is ok, but the service is pretty bad.
