New Generation of Thai Food
I true Bellingham 5 ⭐️ experience! Our server, who seated us and took our order, was great, but was never seen again after ordering. Food came quick and ambiance was very pleasant considering the strip mall(ish) location. Fried eggs & lamb skewers w/ peanut sauce stood out! Duck was a nice offering, too. All dishes were delicious. We eat very spicy and opted for level 2, but will bump up to level 3 next time. Will be back! 🦆 🦀 🥚 🐙
I was not expecting to find such authentic and delicious Asian food in Bellingham! I found this place by chance while my mom was next door shopping at Trader Joe's.
The decor inside is super cute and the restaurant is very clean. I was sat right away and I ordered food first while my mom was still grocery shopping. The food came out very quick and the portions were large. The food was also so delicious!! I liked every single thing that we ordered!
I just had to get the egg salt calamari because it sounded so unique. I liked how the calamari was not deep fried as well.
The lamb massaman curry came with rice and piece of roti. It was so good, and not too spicy.
My favorite was the pad siew which I got with chicken!
I also had an iced Thai milk tea. It tastes just like in Thailand.
If you are in the area and wanting really good Asian food then you need to check this place out!
BEST Thai food EVER!! Day trip to Bellingham and decided to try this place out after shopping next door. WOW!! Decor is cute with a diner feel. It didn’t feel like a ‘typical’ Thai restaurant. The staff is very pleasant and OMG the food… AMAZING!! We ordered the carmelized pork belly, tom yum gung and crab fried rice. The pork belly just melted in my mouth and the sauce is just the perfect texture and taste. I loved how they served the tom yum gung with the fire underneath, keeping it piping hot until we finished it. To think of such details to ensure absolute enjoyment! The crab fried rice was made with real crab in every bite, the accompanying sauce just took the tastebuds to the next level! Ordered the pad see ewe for takeout and that is THE BEST pad see ew!
I can’t say enough good things about Thai Maison. So good I forgot to take a photo😅
We’ll be making the trip down for our next Thai food craving😋 and won’t need to fly to Thailand😜
We were in Bellingham, for the day, doing some shopping. We live in Vancouver, Canada where we have some great Thai food. We found this place, by chance, and our expectations were low. We were VERY WRONG- food was great!!! My daughter is vegan so it can be a challenge, but Thai Maison can modify the majority of their dishes. We had the veggie cakes, tom yom and pad krapao (all made vegan, with tofu). Every dish was great, prices are reasonable and service was good. We will definitely be back!!
Been here multiple times. The atmosphere and presentation is great. The only thing I’d advise against is ordering chicken as a protein (in soup, stirfry, etc.). It’s consistently rubbery and tastes off. It’s the only knock I’ve give, but I’ve had multiple items where the chicken was not edible.
It’s a discreet but amazing Thai restaurant that I still think about every now and then!
The interior is very clean and spacious, staff were all very friendly, and the food was phenomenal without skimping on the portion.
My personal favourite was the Thai milk tea and soft shell crab curry. The curry itself was full of flavour and the crabs weee nicely seasoned with satisfying crunch.
Highly recommend you come and check it out!
The outside doesn't look like much but the inside was aesthetically pleasing.
My friend had Khao Soi Gai, which is a northern Thai curry noodle dish, he said he like it. I thought it was a little bit thick for curry noodle and was on the sweeter side, but it wasn't bad.
I had Khao Man Gai Tod, which is Thai crispy fried chicken rice. I really enjoyed this dish, pretty authentic in term of flavour. The rice was not too oily and still packed with flavour. The fried chicken came out hot and crispy and quite flavourful. The soup is a nice palate cleanser.
I also tried black rice pudding, I would skip it next time. It lacked the right consistency and flavour. Should be richer and thicker in my opinion. But that's not why I wouldn't get it again. The black rice have an aftertaste to them that I didn't enjoy.
I would come back to try other dishes if I'm ever in the area again.
The service was very welcoming and warm. :)
Great staff, amazing food!
I do not like the 2 ladies up front one is nice and 1 is very rude.I'll make sure that I never come back and I'll post everywhere.I can't elect.People know what kind of people they are
UPDATE: Thai Maison called one day after the incident, apologized, and offered me an acceptable way to make it right. Despite the initial mishap, I'm impressed with the promptness of the apology, and have edited my review and rating accordingly.
.......................
I reserved a table on valentines day A MONTH BEFORE. They accepted my reservation. I double checked the night before valentines day, they told me I had a reservation. Then 6 hours before the reservation time, they called and told me that due to a mishap, there will be no table for me. Aside from some empty platitudes and a half-hearted suggestion for me to arrive 20 minutes early, nothing. Super disappointed and definitely checking out another restaurant for today😭
I come here frequently and love the food!

The Maison fried rice with beef drippings is some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Easily the best in town I’ve had so far.
cozy interior with fantastic food! the lamb curry is absolutely delicious

Food is great if you like spicy! All their specials are amazing, the only thing that is a little bland and too sweet is the pad thai. Can’t go wrong with their fried rice or basically anything else on the menu. Friendly staff, and always quick to bring the food out!
Probably some of the best Thai food I’ve had ever. I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve come here, and they’ve never dropped the ball. I can’t decide which dish I like best, they’re all so goooood. Really nice staff too. Will keep going back.
Beautiful inside and the food is incredible. If you eat inside the soups come in really cool bowls that are boiling with literal flames under them. Best Tom Kha I’ve ever had, Tom Jerd was also amazing. Had several noodle dishes that were also fantastic. We were only in Bellingham 2 nights and went to Thai Maison both of them because the food was delicious.
I got 3 stars, the spiciest option, and it was less spicy than Sriracha. The Pad Thai tasted decent, but the noodles were clumped together and honestly, for the price you pay here, you can get much better. I’d heard good things about this place, but it couldn’t quite live up to the hype. They do offer many vegan and gluten-free options, which is really cool.
Very salty
Would highly recommend their Pad Thai and Tom Kha Soup. Their food is consistently good. Portions are big and food is super flavorful.
Best cooking in Bellingham!
It’s the only restaurant I would miss and return to if I ever moved from the area.
My favorites is the house fried rice and Kao Soi

We’ll be making the trip down for our next Thai food craving😋 and won’t need to fly to Thailand😜
The food here is good, but deceptively expensive. I bought the curry to go- which cost $20 if you don’t include the price for rice, tax, or tip. It comes in a 24 oz deli container, which wasn’t even totally full and only had two pieces of vegetables in it: two small pieces of bell pepper each about the size of a quarter, the rest being huge pieces of tofu and broth.
I eat curry with a tablespoon, and there are 2 tablespoons in a liquid ounce. This means that if this curry container was full, it would serve 48 tablespoons of curry. At $20, each tablespoon costs about 0.42 cents. To put that into perspective, most high-quality, organic vanilla extracts only cost about 0.30 cents per tablespoon.
Again, good food, but the value just isn’t there.
Very good service, friendly staff and good food. I had the Soup with chicken. Very quick service too.
Beautiful, calming atmosphere, friendly and competent staff, and the best Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups I have ever tried! Seriously out of this world.
I got the house specialty, Choo Chee red curry with bell peppers, and it was amazing. Wonderful flavor, with slightly crunchy pieces of pepper, and tender pieces of beef that practically melted in my mouth. I will definitely be back!
I hadn't been here in a while and the classic fried rice used to be $19.99 and they raised the price to $22.50! The worst part is the menu doesn't even list the price, if I had seen that I would not have even ordered it. So the bill for LUNCH for 2 people was $45, and that didn't include any drinks or tip Crazy!
Pad Kraprao was over salted, was a small portion, and didn't even come with rice. For $20 it’s a huge rip off. This was my first time eating here and there wont be a second.
If this isn’t your favorite restaurant in bellingham, what are you even doing! Every dish I’ve tried here is so amazing. Usually I’m the type of person to find a dish that I like at a restaurant and then order that every single time I go. But every time I’ve branched out and tried something new, I’ve fallen in love all over again. lol The peanut noodles, pad see lew, pad kee mao, THE TOM KHA🤤, veggie cakes, choo chee curry, and tom kha fried rice are all phenomenal choices. I should mention, I’m vegan and they are incredibly accommodating to that. And I feel super confident that they know what that entails. Every time I come here they are massively busy, but the food still comes out pretty fast! Thank you for being my favorite restaurant ever!!!
We were in Bellingham, for the day, doing some shopping. We live in Vancouver, Canada where we have some great Thai food. We found this place, by chance, and our expectations were low. This place blew my mind. Recommended by a friend who had nothing but good things to say. We sat down on a Sunday even and I have nothing but positive things to say. I've worked in restaurants for years and they were SO busy with to-go orders while still taking care of dine in folks( which was about 80% full). The kitchen staff is absolutely impressive to be that busy with a full ticket rail and still execute fantastic and flavorful dishes. And food was still brought out at a VERY reasonable amount of time. Wow. Service was top notch, thank you Tera (hope I spelled that right). Its insanely ironic talking to my friend earlier in the day telling him how much I miss Bellingham and all the great places there are to eat, then I eat here for the first time and they set the bar to a level I have never experienced in every aspect of a customer before. 10/10. Recommend 100% times a million.
This is about the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to! I love the veggie cakes! Nice people and excellent service.
I was not expecting to find such authentic and delicious Asian food in Bellingham! I found this place by chance while my mom was next door shopping at Trader Joe's.

If you are in the area and wanting really good Asian food then you need to check this place out!
The thai iced teas we ordered didn't come till I was halfway done with my meal. My girlfriend barely ate any of her pork belly meal because it was insanely salty, which I also tried and confirmed to be true. We sent it back and we're going to order something else for her but by the time the guy came back to take the order we were ready to leave. There were only 3 other tables of guests in the whole place. My kao soy was pretty good, but i ordered it max spicy and it wasnt at all. The coconut soup was so-so. They didn't take the pork belly off the tab and I left with a still-hungry girlfriend. Left a 20 percent tip, but absolutely we will not return. $100 and neither of us were satisfied.
The food here is excellent, it's my favorite place to take friends out to dinner.
What a hidden gem!!
Vegan friendly & so delicious! Easily best pad see yew i’ve ever tried. Cooked to perfection
Everything we tried was fantastic! We opted for medium heat and we probably could have added a little more heat so if you like spicy go for the hottest level.
Our server was very friendly and atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and comfortable. Would definitely return again.
A lot of pluses, including the fact that there is a parking lot right outside the door. As a diabetic, however, I found it difficult - maybe, impossible - to put together a dinner for two that was not laden with sugar. In contrast, the Thai House on Telegraph, will cook to order. So, although I enjoyed the more unique menu and atmosphere at Thai Maison, the next time I am in the mood for Thai food I will head back to the tried and true Thai House - where there are no such downsides.
The food was delicious and it is very rare when I tell someone I like a black and blue stake that they actually make it that way. If you are not used to spice, stick with one star, they are generous with heat. I recommend the maison fried rice and lamb satay.
This place is amazing. Each dish is packed full of flavour. Already looking forward to my next visit. Worth driving down for from Canada.
Literally the best Thai food I’ve had in my life. Every time we go to Bellingham we stop here!
I ordered almost $100 worth of food to try this place out and i was surprised by the odd flavors here. The pad thai isnt made with pad thai flavors or sauce but a dark brown salty sauce that is also used for the fried wings. I ordered chicken in all of the dishes and it was already dried out and hard to chew, even in the curry. For whatever reason they call the wings thai wings but its not the sweet sticky honey sweet chili sauce coating the wings like you would get at any other thai place. It's that salty brown clumpy sauce. I dont think that the people who own and work here are even Thai or even from Thai land-- these arent thai flavors ..the aloha curry pineapple rice has so many huge cut raw undercooked vegetables you cant even get thru chewing it. You need a steak knife to cut them down and they doesn't help that they are raw. These huge chunks of vegetables make no sense and the dried out meat...they should be ashamed. I ordered the crispy chicken and it was just salty chicken..i couldnt taste anything else. I think these flavors are from some other cuisine. These arent thai food flavors sauces and seasonings. They are just throwing cilantro in everything as if that makes it thai food. It does not I wont be going back. Raw curry powder sprinkled over the rice for the pineapple rice instead of cooked into the rice. I'm still hurt by the pad thai most of all.. how do you mess that up? The noodles were so hard and stuck together, they were like matted venetian blinds that got sticky. You couldn't get any of the noodles out the container to eat the food. They were so stuck together and congealed. And that salty brown sauce is horrible. I've had pad Thai made with ketchup in Seattle that was better than this. So greasy. Made me bloated and uncomfortable...i could not digest this food
Finally got a chance to try this restaurant. I had previously stopped in twice to order takeout, but they were too busy and I was told the order would be 30-40 minutes. I could hear the phone going unanswered during our dinner, so I'm guessing they are still having issues handling takeout orders.
We ordered the potstickers and veggie cakes as appetizers. The potstickers were good but slightly over-browned. The veggie cakes tasted good. But I did not like the texture of the thick outer layer just below the thin crispy exterior - not appealing in my mouth. However, this might be the typical way they are made in Thai cuisine, and just not my thing.
I had the Pad Prik Khing with chicken. It was flavorful and reasonably spicy (to an American) at only 1 star. But while the chicken was correctly cooked, the veggies were very undercooked. I could not even cut the largest broccoli pieces with my fork no matter how hard I pushed down. No one should need to use a knife to cut broccoli in a stir-fry dish. And the green beans were almost raw - I could barely pierce them with my fork and ended up leaving most of them behind. I should have sent the dish back to the kitchen, but didn't have time or energy for that.
Super delicious food, especially the carmelized pork belly and tea leaf salad!
Thai Maison is undoubtedly the pinnacle of Thai cuisine in Bellingham, and a personal favorite of my wife and I. Having dined here dozens of times, we’ve consistently enjoyed every meal, affirming its status as the best Thai restaurant in town.
The menu at Thai Maison boasts an array of dishes that capture the essence of authentic Thai flavors. Each dish is meticulously prepared with high-quality ingredients, delivering a taste experience that's both rich and satisfying. The Pad Thai is perfectly balanced, the curries are aromatic and flavorful, and their unique specialties are always a delight.
While the prices at Thai Maison might be slightly higher than other local options, the superior quality of the food justifies the cost. You're not just paying for a meal; you're investing in a culinary experience that's hard to match elsewhere in Bellingham.
The ambiance of Thai Maison adds to the dining experience, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes each visit feel special. Whether it's a casual dinner or a celebration, the setting complements the meal perfectly.
If you’re in Bellingham and looking for exceptional Thai food, Thai Maison is a must-try. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a consistent, delightful culinary journey that my wife and I highly recommend.
Stopped here on a whim on our way back to Canada. I saw clearly marked vegan options which is something I always appreciate. I ordered the chef special, choo chee curry, and it was amazing! A red Thai curry with loads of tofu and some peppers. We also had the veggie spring rolls that came with a delicious sauce and my husband had a fried rice dish with crispy chicken that he claimed was the best meal of our trip. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated. I’m only sad that I can’t eat here whenever I want due to living in Canada.
This place is sort of hidden next to Trader Joe’s, and is really good. The food is fantastic, and the place has a really great aesthetic. I’ve been on multiple dates with my husband here and also a group dinner for a friend’s birthday.
My only negative note would be that the food often takes a while to get out (last night it took 45+ minutes to get our food). Although delicious, depending on how much time you have, it may not be worth the wait.
If I could give half stars, I would give it a very solid 4.5! But it doesn’t deserve to be taken down to a 4, since the food is phenomenal and I always go home with leftovers cause the portion sizes are so big.
My whole family loved this place. We ate here based on reviews because we are from out of town. We eat Thai food regularly and this was so much better than what we’ve had elsewhere. Definitely a cut above the rest!
It’s always such a nice treat to come to dinner here! Really clean, fresh ingredients, and tons of flavors packed in every bite. I usually order the chicken pad see ew. Sometimes I wish the portions were a little larger for the price, but that doesn’t keep me away.
Best Thai food in Bellingham. Great menu options and great service!
I love Thai food and have been to restaurants all over the country. This place made the best pad see iew I've ever had.
The outside doesn't look like much but the inside was aesthetically pleasing.
My friend had Khao Soi Gai, which is a northern Thai curry noodle dish, he said he like it. I thought it was a little bit thick for curry noodle and was on the sweeter side, but it wasn't bad.

I would come back to try other dishes if I'm ever in the area again.
The service was very welcoming and warm. :)
We visited on a business trip and it was recommended by our hotel. We were not disappointed! The food was fantastic (though my colleague asked for Thai spicy and said it could be even spicier). 10/10 would recommend!
Amazing food, delicious. We ate it before we could take a photo.
The food seems very good. The flavor was great, but 2* was too hot for me.
Food is good they are a little inconsistent on the spice level. 2 wasn't spicy had to ask for the spice rack the first time we went. The second time we went I asked for a 3 (thats their hottest) and it was a huge difference between the 2 from last time and the 3 from this time. Different cooks maybe 🤔. Oh well the flavor is on good so thats a win.
Served duck that had clearly turned
Absolutely best curry I've ever had. I ordered the choo-chee curry. Highly recommend. 10/10! You can taste how perfectly all the ingredients blend together. From someone who has eaten thai food from London, England to San Diego California and many places in between, I can easily say this is the best curry I've ever had.
I also tried the charcoal lemonade and thai ice tea. Both are phenomenal!
Overall portions are perfect, food is perfect and service is perfect. If im ever in the area again I will be coming here!
Loved this place! The food is very very delicious and the serving sizes are large, which I appreciate as the food is on the higher end in terms of price. Absolutely love the atmosphere and think our servers are always incredibly friendly! The Thai tea is also delightful, I suggest getting it with the coconut milk! Highly recommend this place for a nice date night or get together--it's been a really satisfying experience every time I've eaten there.
Amazing food, cute décor, and good service. Seriously, cannot speak highly enough of their food. Genuinely spicy, flavorful, and their specials are to die for. The crispy chicken is *chef's kiss*. Sometimes they get slammed out of nowhere, so be prepared to wait a hot minute to be served, but once the order is taken the food and drinks come out wicked quick. Parking sucks, be prepared to fight a Canadian for a spot. Unsure about wheelchair accessibility- the space between tables is pretty small, and I didn't use the restroom so it's hard to say about that.
after reading other negative reviews on the service i don’t see the point in finding resolution with this establishment and am only writing to share my experience.
have tried this place a couple times and it was decent so we tried it again. asked for a simple chicken pad thai 0 spicy. got home they gave me tofu with 3 spicy. not edible for me. it was the end of the night so we couldn’t call back and get it fixed. after seeing other reviews about the service i have little faith that this would be resolved so i won’t be wasting my time. lots of other thai places in town so not a loss for me!
Always great. Always our first option for food in town, and they never disappoint.
Pad kee mao, choo chee curry, and kao soi
Really surprised at the high marks this restaurant has gotten. We’ve been here three times and really haven’t had anything good at all. We visited when shopping at Trader Joe’s and we just thought we hadn’t tried the right dish, so we went back to try something new. Well, never again. Their food is simply not fresh. We’ve tried their chicken, beef and pork in various formats (curry, noodles …) and their meats tasty like they’re precooked and reheated 10 times over, and they are fairly expensive for such mediocre food. Don’t get fooled by the cozy atmosphere. Food is simply not fresh and tasty at all.
Floral interior, great menu choices, delicious meals. I got the Beef Cheek Green Curry. Overall, it felt like a very professional experience. Definitely worth stopping by if you're visiting Bellingham for the Trader Joe's.
Bedt thai in town
Food is very average. Calamari was good, pork belly was fine, spring rolls and potstickers were below average. Tasted like frozen premade product.
Chicken in the curry noodle entree was days old.
Nude Pad Thai was incredibly bland.
Spicy level 2/3 is very mild.
Please change the ingredient quality, prices, and recipes slightly. We would love to come back as the service was excellent.
I just got take-out for my first order from here but I’ll definitely be back! I got chicken larb and lamb curry. The roti that came with the curry is particularly delicious, and the curry was delicious! I ordered relatively mild dishes though, next time I’m going to go all out!
Excelente lugar para comer y diafrutar. Muy buena comida y muy buena atencion
Nice place, but I think, there are better Thai places in town. Maybe I just didn't order the right thing, but I thought my food was... meh... But they must be doing something right because the place was packed.
Food is amazing. Staff friendly and quick. Great atmosphere. Probably the best Thai restaurant in Bellingham
Delicious!!! Great atmosphere. Really nice staff.
Nice choice for a local, ethically prepared cuisine. The menu has many items to choose from. The decor was welcoming. Friendly staff, prompt service, and delicious food. Parking is a challenge since they share it with Trader Joe's and other small businesses. Great choice for a romantic meal.
Pretty decent, authentic Thai food. Ordered Pad Thai and the noodles had different thickness.
Tastes similar to thai places in Bellevue
2/15/24 - I paid for a To Go order with pad thai and curry, but didn't get the side of rice I paid for
Ordered Phad thai yesterday with pork belly via take out. The pork belly itself was delicious but the phad thai noodles tasted burnt so I tossed it. We are returning customers after being impressed by the food the first time. I'm hoping this was just a fluke, normally the food is delicious!
Edit** Thai Mason reached out to me to offer me a credit at their establishment.. Very impressed, these guys truly care about their customers!
Love this place! So allergy friendly with everything gluten free (and gluten free on request) clearly listed on the menu! Caramelized Pork Belly, veggie Cakes, Pad Thai, classic fried rice, chop-Chee Curry are all GF and delicious. If you do TJ’s runs from across the border give yourself an extra hour to fuel up here, you won’t regret it.
Wanna save money??? Try out the Thai Maison **before** doing Trader Joe's on an empty stomach 😁😁. Service was speedy at this clean & slightly retro restaurant. Tried the chicken tom yum (#2 spicy) which did not disappoint. Great flavors and generous size. The rest of the menu looked equally tasty - will have to check that out on the next visit. Yos offered pleasant & attentive service.
Update: We have been eating here for a year now and my husband and I agree, it is so nice to find a local restaurant that offers such a high level of consistency. When we place our orders we know what they will taste like. And every to go order for a year has been 100% accurate. My family loves that we can all order the same dish but we can customize the spiciness. Consistently good food, our orders are accurate, and they customize dish spiciness to order. 👏👏👏
Original review:
WOW!!! BEST FOOD in BELLINGHAM!!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Nowhere else even comes remotely close 😳
We moved from Bellingham from Houston over 10 years ago. We love Bellingham but the local food scene is lackluster at best. My husband and I are used to being disappointed by the lack of flavor when eating out in Bellingham. However after 10+ years I can say we finally found an outstanding restaurant that knows how to prepare fantastic food!!!
Last night I had a craving for tom kha gai soup, and took to google for a place to get take out. My family and I were pleasantly surprised by the menu and my husband was kind to go pick it up. He said the place was slammed on a Saturday night. While he waited for our takeout order, he watched the orders come out for the table service. He said everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. When he brought the food home we were absolutely blown away, everything was excellent. We ordered soups (the true show of skill of a cook) entrees, and appetizers. Everything had unique flavors with depth and top quality fresh ingredients. We have never had such a fine meal from anywhere in Washington that was this good; and it was takeout! It needs to be noted that they were able to serve that level of food on a busy Saturday and the order was 100% accurate.
Bravo 👏 👏👏
Thank you for such an outstanding meal♥️
Very impressed by the food. I will go back
Everything was really good. We had the vegetable cakes as an appetizer based on the waitress' recommendation and she was spot on. They were crispy and so good. I had the Choo Chee curry and subbed egg noodles for rice. The crispy chicken in that was cooked just right, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I hope I'll be back soon.
I hate to even review this place and contribute to it becoming more popular but we love Thai maison. I regularly get the peanut noodles with crispy cod and they are the best noodles I’ve had anywhere. This is our go to restaurant because it never disappoints. Also highly recommend the fried brussel sprouts as an appetizer.
This place served probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The curry was creamy and insanely flavorful!! Living in Seattle, there’s a ton of good options. We stopped in on our way back from Mt Baker and all 4 of us were blown away. The exterior of this place is very unassuming but the inside is very cute with clean bathrooms. Service was great and speedy! Will be stopping at this spot every time I pass through Bellingham.
Lovely food and people.
This place is delicious and everything I want in a Thai food place. Makes me want to move back to Bham! Great and friendly service and tasty food.
This is my favorite Thai place in Bellingham. Their Choo chee curry is delicious and consistent.
For all you Canadians coming to shop at TJ's, this is the perfect place for a bite! Located next door to TJ's, the Thai food here is absolutely delicious and service was top notch. Even my picky Asian mom loved it! The ambience and decor was also super cute! Highly recommend!
Excellent food, beautiful presentation, classy service.
Absolutely the best Thai food in Bellingham
The food was good and the service was ok. They were somewhat busy, but still took 15 minutes just to get water.
The food wasn't the best I've had, but still good.. I'll give them another chance before I write them off my list.
The curry and all of the noodle dishes are amazing!
The best Thai in town! Great service and attentive kitchen. Highly recommend!
Been here quite a few times now. My favorite Thai restaurant in the area. Love the atmosphere, the service is always really good and friendly and the food has delivered every time we’ve dined in! Only note I really have is one night I called in an order about 35 minutes before closing (I was hesitant because I don’t usually order from places close to closing because I feel bad but this was the only restaurant I wanted at the time) and my usual order wasn’t the same. So I will blame that on them closing and I’ll probably be on the fence to do that again. lol. BUT other than that one time this place is phenomenal. The things on the menu I love - Soft Shell Crab - Thai Mason wings (THE best wings out here and they only have one kind! Lol. You find out quickly that there are no good wing spots in this city outside of Extremes.) Choo-Chee Curry with the fried chicken thigh. Amazing! Thai Mason Fried Rice. Excellent! And I really enjoy their Pad See Lew with shrimp and pork! Thai Mason is fire! ✌🏾
Excellent food and even better service! We had veggie pot stickers and spring rolls for starters; both were delicious. For main courses, we had Pad Thai, Pad See Iew, Fried Rice, and Red Curry. Everybody loved their selected dish, and there was plenty of each to share. We had spice ranging from 0*-5* (above 3* is by special request only). Spice was true to their stated level. Our server was especially attentive throughout the meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!
One of my favorite dinner spots in town!
I had the Choo Chee curry with Fried Tofu, spice Level 2. It was very good, well balanced, and fragrant. Can't wait to try this restaurant again!
All of the employees are are so amazing, except the old lady (not the short hair). I have really bad experience here when she took our plates and bowl without asking us twice. When I was trying to finish it and she took it away! So terrible! Please ask customers before you take anything away!
The Thai food here is an angelic experience where Heaven and taste buds collide in a dance of flavorful perfection that would be the envy of Dancing with Stars 2022 winner Charli D’Amio.
Seriously, I’ve had Thai food all over the world—and this might be the best flavor touchdown to pass through my tastebuds to my Amygdala in what can only be considered perfection in tandem to Michelangelo’s statue of David.
Plus there are so many vegan options—and the vegan options are incredible 🙏🏼
Do yourself a favor and eat here.
The only regret you will have is that your standards for good Thai food will be set so high that it will be hard to not eat here moving forward.
First time here, I got the Grandma’s Massaman Curry. It was a bit different than what I expected but still good overall. It’s quite heavy, I only ate half of it and packed home the rest. It’s got a thick peanut-y/sesame-y sauce taste and when combined with the fried roti, it’s a bit too rich/oily for me. It’s tangy, rich, and spicy and goes well with white rice too. I would’ve like there to be some vegetables inside like bell pepper or something. The lamb was good and had good flavour and texture.
The Green Curry is also a bit different since it doesn’t have that much eggplant in it nor taste of basil. The beef was good and tender.
I regularly pick up the lamb
Satay to take home and It's always tender.
Best Thai food in Bellingham!
I ordered the Maison fried rice, the flavor of the rice was excellent, but the greyish blue beef was gross. I wish i had taken a picture after i opened the box. Also, there were no veggies in the rice so i added broccoli. It was added on after the dish was cooked, so it was not cooked and flavorless. Bummer cause last time the duck curry was excellent
Amazing menu great service. The owner is from Thailand, so the food is authentic and amazing.
Favorite Thai in Bellingham!
Good food have good vegetarian and vegan options. When they say spicy they mean spicy.
Each visit feels rushed, but the food is good. We ordered 7 dishes (2 appetizers, 3 entrees, 2 desserts) because my friend moved away and had been craving their food. Despite my friend's warning about one lady rushing customers, I still hoped she'd be more patient given our big order. However, we were still rushed, desserts arrived early and sat for 20 minutes before we could enjoy them, even though there was only one other table and some takeout orders (3pm).
My friends have been experiencing the same thing and I think it can be improved.
The waitress with very short, blond hair (wears glasses maybe) was extremely sweet and kind, she smiled a lot and made our visit feel better.
Best Thai food
Incredible food! Please try this place out. What a hidden treasure.
Incredible. I didn't think I could be blown away by Fried Rice. The Thai Maison fried rice with steak on top was...insanely good. Best I've ever had. Thank you!
Usually it's really good. Gluten free options 👍🏻. 2 is quite spicy FYI. More like what a 3 or 4 would be other places.
My friends and I talked about what we were going to get days before visiting and continued talking about how good it was and our leftovers for days afterwards. Every item on their menu is amazing, my personal faves are anything with the soft shell crab or crispy chicken, choo chee curry, and the pad see lew. It’s so cute inside with lovely decor, bright interior, and an abundance of greenery. Servers are friendly, it is a bit pricy but ultimately worth every penny. I suggest it to anyone looking for restaurant recommendations.
Update: Owner reached out immediately and apologized. Issued a refund and offered a free Pad Thai. Impressed with the response so increasing rating to reflect. Ordered pad Thai, NO egg for takeout. Brought home the food after waiting an hour for it to be ready and found a whole mass of egg shells in my food? This is super gross, and after paying $20+ for dinner and then being left hungry because I definitely am not eating this!
Amazing Thai food!!! Fast service for take out
My only criticism is the new spring rolls. They used to be my favorite spring roll around, but they changed the recipe and now they are awful :( which makes me so sad because everything else is phenomenal. Please please go back to the original recipe for the spring rolls! The new ones have a funky taste and are soggy.
So good! Cute little hole in the wall place. Bigger on the inside.
Walking up to the place, I thought we might want to go somewhere else. Once we stepped through the door, it was a total vibe change. It felt cool, refreshing, and inviting inside. The decor was on point.
Not only was it a great atmosphere, but the service was on point. The server got our orders in super fast, and we got the food much faster than expected.
Lastlyand the most important part, the food was delicious. I got the lamb, and my friend got the steak. The flavor was exquisite on both dishes.
A definite must try in Bellingham!
Went back for round 2!! Gotta try the crying tiger! Especially if you love steak.
Absolutely fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back.
We love this restaurant so much. Probably the best thai spot in all of Washington from a local!
Big yums. Got delivery via door dash and had fried Brussels, peanut noodles, duck curry. All were great.
Food was absolutely delicious and it’s the best Thai food in Bellingham. Will definitely come back
I love the Maison fried rice!
Food was terrific. I had the Grandma’s recipe “Massaman Lam Curry” and it was so good.
TOP notch! Great place to take friends who like their Thai food to burn their own mouths for 3 days afterwards. Bring them here and find out what they're REALLY made of! A+++++
Mgmt should co m plain about the awful parking situation. Trader Joe's needs to be booted out of the strip mall and move elsewhere to location with plenty of parking for themselves. We were planning on lunch here at Thai Maison but nightmare parking lot drove us away .
This is my favorite place to go. I pretty much only eat out from. This place is worth every dollar. Absolutely the best place in Bellingham to eat.
I was treated like I was a criminal not to be trusted when I tried to pick up an order for uber eats. I understand I’m bald and don’t look normal but I’m a cancer patient. I can’t help that. I was looking forward to bringing my whole family here because the menu looks delicious but now I know I’m not welcome there because I’m seen as less then. Shame on you.
Some of the best Thai food in our area!
Beautiful restaurant, wonderful staff, and delicious food. The best Thai food I've had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back soon!
Small family restaurant. Great food!! Love that the menu has different options than the other Thai houses in B'ham. Curry is on point!! It was our first time going, and we will definitely be back! Keep up the great work!!
Another successful dinner that was We'll done.
Fantastic food! The crispy chicken thighs are delicious and the mango sticky rice was amazing. Everything was so fresh and yummy 🤤
My partner and I come here frequently. Our favorite are the pad kee mao and massaman curry. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and the food has an amazing depth of flavor. This place is a must try
Ordered the Tom Yum fried rice gluten free to go. The food was excellent, still had good flavor for being gluten free.
High class Thai! Rivals any Seattle spot I've been to in the ID!
Authentic Thai food, nice atmosphere and great service.
If you like Thai cuisine, this is a must try. Great experience all around.
It's was great restaurant and great price too
Wow! This is the best Thai food I've ever had. I went with a group of 7 and everyone was raving.
It was delicious and the waiters were super friendly. The only regret was that I couldn't locate the restaurant when I tried to share it on Instagram let everyone know it!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Incredible! Would give more stars if I could. We got the Tom Kha, sexy aloha fried rice, and the crispy rolls with Thai teas this time. Everything was wonderful. It was our first time ever having Tom kha and will definitely be back just for that. Extremely flavorful and served in a fun way. We got takeout last time (chose the curry and Phad Thai that time) and it was just as delicious. BUT This is one of the few places I’ve been to lately that I feel like is really worth the drive to dine in! The ambiance is bright and welcoming, very clean, the decor is so cute! all the staff we interacted with were great. Highly recommend and is my new favorite place in the area to get Thai food
