Thai VP Bellevue offers Thai authentic street food to the restaurant from Pad Thai noodle, Curry , Fried Rice and much more
A good khao soi maybe over topped with too many fried noodles vs. Fresh noodles. But the soup base is great and maybe a touch too rich with a lot of coconut milk. Seasonal mango dishes with strong fish sauce flavor, and a basic lunch combination special that comes with a relatively a pretty good pad Thai with not overly sweet flavors.
This place is so darn good! I have been getting lunch here more often lately. Couldn't be happier.
I get Pad Thai w/ tamarind sauce. Extra chicken. Amazing. I also get the chicken Satay and a Thai Iced tea.
I get cravings for this place all the time. Glad it's so close to my work. Tha lady who works at the front is always so nice and attentive.
Such a charming and beautiful little place. I'm so grateful my friend took me there. The food was reasonably priced and quite delicious. They have an incredible selection of vegetarian dishes and gluten-free as well.
First time eating here, stopping in for lunch. Most of the menu items are priced at $13.95. The food is okay, ordered from the lunch specials. Red curry combo with Phad Thai, spring roll and Yellow curry combo with Phad Thai, spring roll. The curry's were good except tofu was fried. Personal taste, I do not like fried tofu. Phad Thai tasted like it had ketchup in it. The spring rolls were tasty but very greasy. Might come back and try something else on the menu.
Unbelievable service and good! I highly recommend the coconut shrimp and Tom yum soup and drunken noodles! I love Thai food and this was my new favorite place!
Rice is extra . Be prepared as you go in.
Unbelievable service and good! I highly recommend the coconut shrimp and Tom yum soup and drunken noodles! I love Thai food and this was my new favorite place!
Best thai food I've had in quite some time, done fresh and bursting with flavor. Only place I recommend now in the area.

Food is always great!!! Service is wonderful and attentive.

The food is excellent and fresh. The wait staff is very friendly. I ordered Somtum, papaya salad, which was delicious.
I absolutely love their pad thai… but literally every single time I order from here they mess up my order and make my food wrong… then I’m left hangry (that’s hungry and angry). My food has spicy, when asking for no spice, nuts when asked for no nuts and missing tofu when being charged extra and not getting it. Not getting my thai iced tea with my order. The list goes on. Yet I keep coming back because I like the food. Just wish they’d get my order right!! It’s so expensive when I order through door dash and when my food comes and I can’t eat it and they want me to drive to the store to fix it. The purpose of me ordering it is because I am not able to go pick it up.

They do not respect people's dietary restrictions.
Ordered a dish with tofu and no egg which was listed on the bill and they served it with egg and chicken.
By far the best Thai food in the area. We order at least 2 times a week and are never disappointed.
Food is great and you have to grab some of their homemade coconut ice cream
We ordered take out last night, all of the food was hot and fresh and delicious! Best pad thai (prawn) and panang cury (chicken) we have had in Bellevue
expensive but very delicious and the coconut ice cream changed my life
Very friendly service. Tasty food and good portions. I highly recommend it.
Consistently good food.
Good food at a reasonable price
Check your bill. We overlooked that an 18% tip was added to our bill for 7 ppl. The bill was over $200. On the top they got another 20%. He entered the amount in the machine without saying a thing. Then I discovered it on the receipt after we got home. We are long-time customers for years. Your greed breached our trust. No more business from us.
Got an incorrect order even though I ordered online and even the receipt says the protein I wanted. They just completely left it out, so it’s now a super sad meal with just a couple of pieces of veggies.
Great Thai restaurant at Crossroads. I have been going there for more than 5 years now and staff are always very friendly and food is very delicious. We always order the mango sticky rice (when it is in season) and the homemade coconut ice cream, both are VERY GOOD! There is street parking out front and a small parking lot on the side of the building.
Simple, clean, family own restaurant. We like unpretentious atmosphere and delicious food. You get all the traditional dishes here.
Best Thai food around. Highly recommend 🔥
The basil crispy chicken is excellent; with 4 big flat pieces (similar to chicken katsu). The pad Thai is good too
The one surprise was having garlic in the Papaya salad which was not expected. I will remember to ask not to have garlic in the salad
My favorite Thai restaurant in bellevue.
I am a regular visitor at Thai VP Bellevue, and I can't get enough of their incredible cuisine! The mango sticky rice is an absolute delight – perfectly balanced sweetness and a wonderful texture. The coconut water is hands down the best I've had, always refreshing and authentic. I find myself coming back every month because the food is simply delicious. The combination of flavors and the attention to detail in every dish showcase the chef's skill and dedication. Thai VP Bellevue has become my go-to spot for a consistently fantastic dining experience, for a fair price (expect to spend 20/30$ per person). The server is also very nice and helpful with deciding a dish :-)
Very good Thai restaurant in Bellevue
I’ve ordered to-go from here multiple times now, and it is consistently excellent. The crab rangoons are the best in this area! The pad see ew, tom kha, and spicy basil stir fry are very good. Spice levels are consistent and everything is flavorful. This will be my go-to Thai spot moving forward.
Such a great find!! The service was really wonderful, and the food was excellent. Some of the most delicious and flavorful Thai food we’ve had :) Definitely worth checking out, and I look forward to ordering again!
Pretty good food.
Overall the experience was terrible.
The service was the worst part, when placing our order. The server literally in mid sentence walked away to greet someone who came in and started chatting with them. Sat down two more tables who came in and then finally took our order. I’ve never seen something so rude and bizarre. It makes you not feel welcomed or valued.
The food itself was underwhelming, I got the see ew and prawns. The see ew was under seasoned. Not enough soy sauce and at four stars of spiciness, was feeling more like two. Dish was at least hot. The prawns were flattened and had too much breading. Very heavy in oil and not drained.
Overall, I would not come here again based on my experience. Please save your time, money and tastebuds.
This place a a real gem. Small and cozy dining in it great takeout. Best Thai in Bellevue, yum.
One star is to much, pad Thai was fishy, barely any chicken, red curry had barely any chicken and the oil was separated , chicken satay was not cooked all the way. Gross. Not even close to good
Good options for vegetarian family. Friendly staff. Fast service.
Loveeeed their pad thai with tamarind sauce, new favorite place💕
I love this restaurant so much! Food is excellent and the service is always good. Wine selection is great as well!
Food tasted like chemicals.
I had the seafood phad Thai and the mussels weren't cleaned right and I got really sick from eating it but usually the other food is good
Moon was an amazing hostess/waitress. The foods flavor signatures were distinct and delicious. We will return!
Best pad kee mao around, small place with great service that brings fire from the kitchen in every dish.
This is the freshest Thai restaurant! Others may come close (we eat a lot of Thai food), but Thai VP is the best. I can't speak well to it's authenticity, but the food is so good! All of my kids love it and they even eat their vegetables! Everything is cooked perfectly every time, the staff are very friendly and helpful and since the prices are reasonable, it makes for a very good value because of the quality.
ThaiVp Restaurant may be small in size, but it packs a big punch when it comes to ambience. The cozy atmosphere creates the perfect setting for an enjoyable dining experience.
We opted for the Pineapple Curry Fried Rice, customized without egg or meat, and it was a taste sensation. The flavors were perfectly balanced, with the sweetness of the pineapple adding a delightful twist to the aromatic Thai spices.
ThaiVp's attention to dietary preferences was impressive, as they willingly accommodated our requests for a customized dish. Their flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile were greatly appreciated.
The service at ThaiVp was exceptional, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff that made us feel valued. Their recommendations and warm smiles added a personal touch to the dining experience.
The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, showcasing the chef's artistic flair. Each plate was a work of art, enhancing the overall dining experience.
ThaiVp offers incredible value for money, with reasonable prices for high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes.
In summary, ThaiVp Restaurant is a hidden gem that delivers tantalizing flavors in a cozy setting. Whether you're a fan of traditional Thai cuisine or have specific dietary preferences, this restaurant caters to all and ensures a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend ThaiVp and can't wait to return.
Crispy Basel Chicken is sooo good!
Terrible service. I went around 5:30 and waited to be seated when only one customer was dining inside. I had to seat myself and when I went to approach my server or manager(an older lady). She was on her phone and the kitchen staff had to remind her I was standing in front of her. The food was not great either and paying over $21 for a small portion of pad thai and iced tea was surprising when this restaurant is supposed to be one of the cheaper options.
For authentic thai food this is our go to place.. Chef is from Thailand and they still create new dishes..
When we were there we ordered pad thai traditional way, dimsum noodle and chef recommend mango curry ( more of a fushion dish which I learned in other restaurants not to try so much :). But this fushion was good with mango but not much w the potatoe ,for my taste. Yet i still devoured it.
Pad thai was top of the list for me and my family.
For dessert my favorite "forget abt your diet" is mango sticky rice they recommend the combo of sticky rice mango w coconut ice cream home made... we said we will only take the sticky rice mango ;) they still gave us the ice cream just to try the idea! And oh my, that was a delight and maybe next time we just go for dessert ;) we had a great time here especially it wasnt crowded that Saturday night
This is my favorite local find! Their food is amazing and the price is beyond reasonable - lunch special is the way to go! Every time I walk in to pick up my order, I am greeted with a smile and a great conversation while I wait. Will continue to go back and always recommend to my coworkers for lunch. Thank you!!
My absolute favorite Thai restaurant! I come here once a week haha, it’s so good and affordable and the people are so nice. It is a hidden gem
This is my favorite Thia eatery. The food is super delicious, made hot and fresh and they always allow me to customize to my preferences. A very good value.
Been going here for years. Excellent Pad Thai and Fried Rice.
Showstopping, authentic curries, fluffy juicy rice, and the best crispy duck I have ever had.
My favorites are the simple Yellow Curry, Fried Vegetarian Eggplant, and Kapow Kai (ground chicken, fried egg, basil and onions). Others have complemented the Devil's Curry (a VERY spicy lamb curry), Green Curry, and Gluten Free Prawn Rolls.
Occasionally there are customer service issues, mainly on the rare times they have unusually busy peaks, and sometimes caused by language barriers, but we typically enjoy strong service.
I recommend ordering online, particularly if it's more than just an item or two, as the different number of "spicy stars" and suboptions on each item can create confusion if you try to call it in over the phone.
Bad customer service. Food was also stale.
Food was good, but I felt that the portion size was just a tad bit small other than that service was great and had a wonderful time dining in for dinner.
VP I think stands for "very poor" -- the food was awful. I think they use ketchup in their noodles. Very strange taste
A pleasant, clean and well layed out atmosphere. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The portions were appropriate and the quality was absolutely wonderful. The phad Thai was perfect, not tomato-based, like some pretenders in the area. I had the phad Thai / green curry lunch combo, which was outstanding. My friend had the shrimp phad Thai. We both had Thai iced tea. We were both extremely satisfied with the food and service.
Ordered pad thai .. 4/5 for spice level .. it came like noodles dipped in sugar syrup .. just too sweet for my taste
The people here are nice, our food was ready fast, and it tasted great. Everything I want in a restaurant
Very rude restaurant employee. She did not help to cancel my order. I just placed wrong order and I immediately tried to cancel it because the order wasn't confirmed yet. When I told her I'm going to cancel the order through the app , she suddenly bumped the order status to completed/ready for pickup, even though they didn't confirm it yet (I placed 2 mins ago, how can an order be ready for pickup in 2 mins?? ) She did this so that she could charge me in full and without allowing me to cancel it. Such selfish money minded owners and employees.
So delicious! My family's favorite place for Thai food, we've been coming to this location since about 2017, maybe even earlier. We love this place and the food, service is friendly and the coconut ice cream at the end of dinners here are the best! I still miss the complimentary soup they used to serve on weekdays for lunch, but their food in general is priced very cheaply especially considering the generous portions.
Went here alone a few days ago for lunch, delicious and food came out fast!
If you want to sit & eat inside you better tip them other wise the lady at the front desk will make u tip them after signing my receipt she handed it to me & told where I needed sit I couldn't pick a table then she comes over to me & tells me you need to include a tip because it wasn't included I said to her I don't feel like tipping. Then I had no choice but to tell her then I need to take it to go. Very unpleasant experience first since I started liking their food. otherwise if she wouldn't impose me to add a tip I wouldn't give them a 1star review. Change your topping policy. It is never mandatory to tip & she said to me it's like that everywhere she had the guts to tell me this I can't imagine why other things thy impose to their customers.
The food was not good, Lemongrass chicken had no lemongrass flavor, mostly onions an chicken was overcook and chewy. The Calamari rings were also overcook and very chewy. I felt like the warmed up yesterdays leftovers or cooked from frozen...I was a little suspicious when the said it would be ready in 10 minutes. The spring rolls were okay.
Last month, our family went searching for a place for a nice dinner before my daughter's wedding. We love Thai food but it's always a trick to find really good Thai food. We decided to try out Thai VP and we were not disappointed in the least. The service was fantastic. Our appetizers came to the table while were were ordering the rest of our meal. The host was extremely sweet and helpful. The next time we are in town, we will definitely be heading there again.
if I could give this place a Zero I would . Very Rude and Money Hungry. If you are of color be aware of the treatment you will receive . You will be seated and pushed to the side while there other guest are taken care of . They are very upfront and demanding you tip them which would be no problem is the customer service was up to par. Food was simple . The manager is a very sneaky wicked lady be aware . They live to poke then play clueless . I would not be returning and I recommend you maybe look else where if you are looking for an enjoyable experience.
Very disappointing. Ordered take out. Small portions and absolutely zero flavor. I was sad.
Amazing thai food
Tastes good but portion size is less
I'm not going to say it's the best Thai food I have ever had, but it is consistently very good and the prices are very reasonable. They add a good amount of sauce to the pad Thai so its not dry. One of the few places that has not jacked up their pricing.
Good dishes with reasonable price
I love their food
I always enjoy the food quality and taste consistency every time I order the food here. The only concern is that this restaurant offers more value to pick-up orders than dine-in services. I had experienced a very uncomfortable and rushed service when I visited with my family a few months ago. My favorites are Classic Thai Fried Rice, Crab Fried Rice, Soft Shell Crab Fried Curry, Special Kapow Kai, and Spring Rolls.
Great food quality and clean place. Very tasty food overall. Good Value for money. Authentic taste that you would love this food.
My recommendation is green curry and pineapple fried rice. Too good and would soon order again. Quantity is modetate, can be better. But then it makes up for awesome taste. I would recommend for both take away or dining if you want authentic thai taste.
Tasty and delicious food. Clean place and carefully packed. Authentic taste and we loved it.
Quantity is slightly on lower side but then they make it up for great taste and moderate price per dish.
Gave us complementary jasmin rice.
Thai fried rice was good. But the waitress was so rude. She wasn’t kind when serving food. She would put the dish far away from you on the center of table and walk away. She also add the tip automatically. The prices of todays special note that display on the table was wrong. The taste was good but experience was very unsatisfactory.
I’m gonna find them all
Overall food is good, but in this visit food was too salty.
Door Dash hell with these guys. Kept the driver waiting 45 minutes AFTER i called and talked with them. Wouldn't be surprised if DD removes them. Not a loss by my account, the food was mediocre at best. Definitely avoid the tofu. Maybe an off nite or they don't like door dash, but this was a waste.
Thai VP is a gem in crossroads. We had pad thai and real crab fried rice. They are amazing quality food compared to other Thai place.
Great [Americanized] Thai takeout! Spiciness level is hit-or-miss depending on the night.
Ordered Phad mixed vegetables ($15.95) with beef ($3.00). Including tax the final amount came around $20.00. The food taste was ok but the quantity is not even worth of $10.00. No value for money. Wasted 20 bucks.
Favorite Thai place in Washington! Will miss the convenience of it being right next to work so I'll just need to come back and visit. Esp love their tamarind pad thai. Not greasy at all! Also get their mango sticky rice when they have it!
Fantatico todo bien y buen servicio y su jente bien amable se los recomindo
Quick and delicious!
Our regular Thai place. One of the gems that we've found
I got their takeout food and as soon as I ate the chicken pad Thai, I knew this chicken was about to go bad. I ate it anyway because I spent $30 and it wasn’t like I was immediately wanting to spit it out. 2 hours later, I was puking out.
My wife and I have been going here since our first date. I personally love the Garlic Lovers with Chicken or the Simply VP Thai Rice dish. Wofe loves the Cashew But Lovers and Tofu Spring Rolls. Great food every time, the customer service is solid (even though we can't dine in at the moment), and they're our go to when we just don't know what we want for the night. I highly recommend their coconut ice-cream, its amazing, and is great at the end of any or their dishes. 10/10 recommend for anyone local or visiting.
Good food
I’ve been doing take outs from them for a long time. Just recently, I got a hair in my noodle dish. I didn’t say anything (because I agree, accidents can happen). The following week I found another hair in my noodle dish. Seriously, they need to have their workers wear proper hair restraints when working with or around food to prevent it from getting in the food! Hair can carry pathogens. I won’t be ordering from them anymore!!
This is one of the most authentic restaurants I’ve been to. The staff is warm and friendly and the food always comes out quickly! My favorite dishes are the Wonton Soup, the Coconut Prawns (the sauce is amazing!) and the Pham Mixed Veggies with Tofu. When they bring the check, they give you a free sample of coconut ice cream! Would definitely recommend, especially as the weather gets colder.
Wouldn't offer lunch special despite being in the time frame and day that it is advertised for
Just ordered some Pad Thai for delivery via Door Dash. I asked for 3 stars and I taste absolutely no flavor in the food. No spice or anything. Really disappointed, especially since this was about a $20 order.
Delicious Pad Thai and amazing service!
Great neighborhood Thai. Tasty dishes, friendly staff. Their coconut ice cream is AMAZING.
Horrible customer service by a female cashier. Will never return again!
A cozy restaurant with great service and tasty food. Everything has a more curry touch, even the not usually curry dishes, but I enjoyed it!
Good noodles and fried rice. Wouldnt recommend the curries. Thai ice tea is +1 dollar for "no ice"
Exceptional food. The wai wai noodles is my favorite. In these difficult times, they continue to provide really awesome take out food. They can also make food without fish souce (veggy sauce). One of the best thai restaurants in the greater seattle area
Pad Thai is excellent. Spicing can be inconsistent but that's the reality of all Thai food I've ever had. In general soups are spicier than noodle dishes, noodle dishes are spicier than rice all with the same number of stars. Clean, solid service, food comes out fast.
We went to Thai VP because they had the best ratings. I even made reservations for our party of 5. The lady said ok. We arrived. Stood for 15 minutes before being seated. The waiter appeared to be nervous and was sweating. He took our order after 5 minutes or so including appetizers. The appetizers came after 20 minutes. At the 40 minute mark the waiter apologized for it taking so long, meanwhile we watched a couple that arrived after us receive appetizers and another receive their meal. I pointed it out to the adult and 3 kids in my party. At the one hour mark we decided to leave. I approached the waiter to inform him. He apologized, and said that he told the cook to finish ours first (whatever that means). I asked if it was because I was a person of color. He said that he didn't know. / :
We left and ended up eating at a local taco truck, Taqeria Guadalahara. Great service there, and great food. Refreshing after the long wait and discourteous service at Thai VP.
I searched for Thai Food Delivery. VP Cuisine says they deliver so I placed my order. As it turns out they don't even though it says they do. That aside, the yellow chicken curry was amazing so I will be back.
Clean with good service. The food was on the safe side. There is nothing great to say and nothing terrible to say either.
Best thai restaurant for our family!
Great food, service and prices.
Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Small seating area and great service.
Tom Kha soup is perfect for a cold day and this is one of the best I’ve had. They also make great Crab Wontons and Chai tea if you love a good app and drink. This is a lovely atmosphere for date night and the food is always fresh. Highly recommend!
Super friendly employees and really good food for the prices (standard Bellevue pricing). Reliably fast take-out and easy online ordering. I brought my little one in once and while we were waiting, the owner gave us both a bowl of ice cream and played games.
The food was good but the portion is too small I think. Ice cream and service was really good by the way
Quick and friendly lunch service. Fast and the food was great. I had the lunch special L7 chicken cashew. 10/10 would go back and the ice cream at the end was a great way to end the lunch!
Delicious! They close a bit early though, I'm a late dinner-eater.
Stopped in for a quick dinner and I am super happy we did. Pad Thai was perfect and the crab delights were delicious. Save room for the coconut ice cream.
This place is just wonderful. I love all of their food. My go-to though is their Tom Kha soup. Any time I come in they are incredibly kind and welcoming. I moved away from the area but get food from them any time I am in the area for errands or what have you.
Very good restaurant.
Service is very special and food is amazing, I will totally come back to this place.
Taking into consideration that i don't usually coment anything but the stars and the combination of service, food and aparience make me want to write about the excellent experience.
One of the best Thai food I've ever eaten. The staff are so sweet and polite! The complimentary soup and coconut icecream were absolutely delicious too! This was my second time here and will definitely go back again, considering the lunch menu has so many options and is super affordable.
Extremely good food and the cutest little scoop of coconut ice cream at the end of your meal to soothe your burning tongue. I had the pad see eew. It was cooked perfectly.
Authentic Thai food, the tofu crystal roll and the complimentary homemade coconut ice cream were nice. The server was very polite and friendly.
Love Pad Thai, fresh rolls and friendly staff here!!!
Very nice ambiance, super nice staff
Lovely Thai food. Must try the Pad Thai.
Got the pad khee mao (drunken noodles) for lunch today and the portion size was plenty. It was a little too salty but overall the lunch specials are a good value and I would come back. Staff were friendly and offered some free extra side dishes.
Awesome food and Awesome staff. I truly loved this place...crazy for thai food😋😍
The Panang Curry was amazing, and the service was awesome!
Delicious!!!
Ordered the Rad Nah and it was delicious. We came in shortly before closing, received great service and received our food very quickly. I will be coming back again.
Pad see lew and pad thai are good. I tried the soft shell crab curry, but it definately was not worth 17 dollars.
Came into the restaurant with only 2 people eating but no one to seat us. Finally got seated with our menus and our waters. I ask the server about some drinks and food and she did not make any eye contact and walk off. That’s is disrespectful to walk off and not asking what would you like to drink or an questions about the food and when she answers me with attitude. What kind restaurant you come in having bad attitude which is just rude. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! If you can’t have good attitude go home or at least try to have a good attitude!!!
In my humble opinion. This is the best Thai place on the greater Eastside. Food , excellent . People, friendly and attentive (they really make the place great). Atmosphere , authentic. Bathrooms, clean. Price, reasonable. I had a completely flawless sit-down meal here. I'm admittedly a very picky guy, so that's hard to do. They even served a complimentary ice cream scoop in a little tin cup with the bill.
I visited with my best friend today and we absolutely loved it! Service, food and atmosphere!
One of the best Thai places
This place is bomb!!! Order online and it is ready fast!!
Got fried tofu pad Thai, literally tasted like noodles without anything. And the tofu was barely even fried, and tasted like nothing. Won’t be going there again.
Absolute delicious meal. We had the crystal rolls for an appetizer, and Phad Thai and Cashew Nuts Lover's for our main dishes. I ordered my stir fry with 3 stars of heat and it was absolutely perfect, just the right amount of heat. I also had a glass of their Thai Iced Tea which was rich and full of flavour. Our server was friendly and attentive and our meal waa delicious. We will definitely come here again.
Favorite place to dine. Cozy and relaxed. Wait staff is excellent. Everything we've ever ordered was delicious. Especially like the Summer Eggplant and Spicy Green Bean dishes.
