Thai is one of my favorite cuisine and love trying new restaurants. This one was one of them. We ordered Thai tea, satay wich is chicken with skewers with peanuts 🥜 sauce and we had for entree Fried rice pineapple with beef in hot sauce for flavor. For main course we had a and pineapple fried rice.
Overall food was tasty and delicious.
Pineapple fried rice was the so flavorful a touch of spicy 🌶️ super delicious 🤤 the restaurant its very cozy warm place the service is really good 👍 just a little bit spicy we paid for the appetizer Thai tea soda water and fried rice $60 that’s the only down I would see but the rest really was tasty and delicia 😋 recommend. I I also took photos from the menu wich has optional VEGETARIAN 🌱 in the menu already gives you a large section for people who are vegetarian 🌱 so also for that it’s a plus
Panang and red curry were rlly similar. The only difference was that panang was sweeter and more coconuty. The kao krapow gai special was delicious though! I would recommend! The only thing is that this place is kind of expensive. $19 per curry. The portion sizes were pretty big. There are around 10 tables there and the staff is very nice. The bathrooms are clean.
The best thing in this restaurant is the waiter. He was pretty much working alone in a busy dinner time at the time we were there last Wednesday. He ran around serving all of the tables attentively, he is polite, he’s always smiling and he’s the kind of waiter who can read what the costumer needs. Service was a bit slow but it’s reasonable because he’s doing all the work. The waitress was also nice but she’s not running around serving as amazing as the guy.
The foods were ok. They are tasty but we prefer the ones at other places better. Their spring rolls is as thin as people’s fingers and it’s only about an inch long. It’s super tiny. We just didn’t expect it to be that small.
The atmosphere was so dark, and full of wood colors. I appreciate it that the waiter gave a plastic cup with a lid and straw for my child. Although the food was not very impressive to me, the waiter was.
The service is very prompt and friendly. It's a cozy little restaurant in a busy area. It's like a little oasis. The open kitchen smells awesome and is interesting to watch. The menu has a huge selection of authentic dishes. Attractive presentation and everything tasted great.
How to start... went to dinner with my partner, and we had the calamari as an appetizer as I a red curry at a 4 spice, and she had yellow curry at a 3. On top of being pretty packed, they were quick at tending to our meals, and the food was very on point. The spicy threshold was exactly what I needed at the 17 ° weather we were dealing with. Their calamari was the best I had ever had so far. For sure going there again!
I’ve been coming here since I was in college and I have never had their Crispy Garlic Chicken. Only because I have my favorites here, one being their Crab Fried Rice, but we’re back living in the area again. Let me just say that I’ve been missing out!
If you like a rich sauce but you don’t get tired of the sauce half way through your meal, then look no further. I also like that this is not too sweet. You’re gonna need the rice for the sauce and a little bit comes a long way. My favorite bite is rice at the bottom with the chicken, a bit of the crispy basil and garlic on top doused with a little of the spicy fish sauce from their spice rack. Yuum!
We ordered crab fried rice, calamari, Thai beef salad. The beef salad has generous portion beef with ice berg lettuce. I ordered extra broccoli on my fried rice. I didn't see extra broccoli and hardly see any crab ( no more than 1 tbsp of crab) on a $26 crab fried rice. Calamari was fried in an oil that should have been changed. Therefore the calamari absorbed aged grease flavor.
Dine-in is very intimate and peaceful. My favorite is the Khao Soi noodle soup, level 3.
The food was delicious but they kept coming back, trying to get us to leave as soon as possible. Not a good atmosphere☹️
In house tasted different than take out.
Love the spring rolls, chicken satay, Tom kha, pad thai and more
The Thai food is incredible here, and it’s priced way more reasonably than places of similar quality.
The food was fantastic! Phad Thai, spicy green beans, spring rolls, panung curry.... so good!
I had fond memories of this place from years ago so decided to eat here as we were in the area. Unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The server was surly and barely spoke. She never offered me any spice choices and then brought my larb without any seasoning (seriously just ground chicken floating in lime juice), and my plate came with crusted food from the dishwasher. They took it away without a word. Food was bland and pre-frozen, dumplings were strangely dense and mushy. Disappointing.

I ordered tom yum and it was the worst tom yum of my life. There was a clear sour broth with pieces of tasteless chicken breast and poorly chopped absolutely raw mushrooms floating on top, I didn’t understand why this place is so popular
Wry rude staff. Long wait for simple order
cooked my food with shellfish after i stated i had a shellfish allergy

I believe my brother first introduced me to this spot on our way to the airport. I was a bit hungover and desperately needed something to settle my stomach. I enjoyed the experience with him a few times since. It’s a very popular place, with a cozy atmosphere and convenient parking. I highly recommend it!
Best thai food on Eastside!
We always enjoy the atmosphere and the quality food they provide. The service is excellent with moderate prices. Besides the price the food is all worthed.

I've been eaten at this place for over twenty years.
Food is always delicious. My favorite dishes are Pad Thai, Pad se ewe, Yellow Curry.
Panang and red curry were rlly similar. The only difference was that panang was sweeter and more coconuty. The kao krapow gai special was delicious though! I would recommend! Hair in food. Extremely salty. Forgot one of our items. I've had Thai food all over the world and this is one of the worst I've had.
Bad service experience with manager
The food was ok. It's the service I didn't appreciate. I was having dinner with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. We had dinner at about 5 pm and then asked for to-go containers for our leftovers. My friend and I sat there drinking some green tea and catching up. There were a couple of other families in the restaurant, however as soon as our dishes were cleared, the "manager" Tina came over to our table and DEMANDED that my friend and I clear our bill right away. I was shocked by this behavior, so I asked her if they were closing as they hadn't asked the other people in the restaurant to pay. It was 6pm by then, and her response was, "they usually close early on slow days", which obviously wasn't true because there were piles to takeout orders by the counter waiting to be picked up. I told her that we would pay when we were done with our tea and ready to leave. She hovered by our table until we paid the bill. I think she thought my friend and I being "black people" would not pay. I was very offended and didn't bother leaving a tip. I'll not be eating here ever again and I'll tell my friends not to. This is not a good way to treat your customers.
Thai Giner has the best Thai! Out of all of the Thai restaurants I've been to they're my absolute favorite. Their laid back ambiance is a bonus. Love their low lit restaurant and candles. Definitely calming.
Very nice inviting atmosphere. This shop has great drinks and authentic food. Last time I went I ordered the chicken curry and had more than a time finishing the entire plate!
Everything was delicious and I can't wait to explore more of their menu
Great Thai food. Especially good lunch specials.
Great little Thai place across from T-Mobile campus. Open kitchen so you can see everything being prepared. Real Thai people own, manage and cook here. Go early, it attracts a crowd. A personal favorite.
The service is not good there, the waitress are not friendly. Food is ok tho. Would not recommend and will never visit it again.
The crab fried rice... absolutely yummy. Get it one star if you don't like spicy, but the flavor from the very mild spice adds even more depth to the flavor.
The restaurant is dirty, including the bathroom, that opens up to the dining room. Every surface was sticky and gross. My dinner was beyond salty. I did not eat but two bites. I picked this place due to my experiences in Thai Ginger in Seattle. This place is not even close. I would never go back. DISAPPOINTMENT!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the area and the only one where 10 stars actually burns a little bit!
The food itself tastes fine but if I'm paying $30 for a scallop dish I want more than 3 scallops on the plate, not a bunch of cheap fried vegetables
Nice dinner, hospitable, they give you an extra rice portion when you ask for a take out bag
Friendly staff and tasty food! They had a dairy free option for Thai tea as well.
Good place to go for Thai Food. I got the Pad Thai and their rolls. The sauce was delicious.
The kind of place you go to have an intro business lunch, to get familiar with people.
This restaurant is not like it used to be anymore, now it will waste your time and money for less than average foods quality not to mention the rude and arrogant host / manager attitude who clearly lacked common sense and had zero skills on how to welcome and treat customers. We do not recommend going there any more. The owners of this restaurant should understand that staff with rude and arrogant attitude and very poor customer service skills will push customers away, It is their loss for sure.
The best part of eating here is the decor. Today I had pad Thai and crispy garlic chicken. The pad Thai was gloopy and overly sweet with soggy noodles, the crispy garlic chicken was not crispy, did not taste of garlic at all, and was dry as the desert. This was the most disappointing Thai food I’ve had in a long time. To top it off the service was surly.
The service is very prompt and friendly. It's a cozy little restaurant in a busy area. It's like a little oasis. The open kitchen smells awesome and is interesting to watch. The menu has a huge selection of authentic dishes. Attractive presentation and everything tasted great.
Love the black rice pudding , satay chicken and phad kee mao
Had dinner here Sat. evening with two girlfriends. First time here and would come back! Food was tasty, staff was friendly and......bonus, they found my wireless headphones that dropped out of my pocket Sat night! I left a note on their door early Sunday morning when I swung by to check the parking lot for them. They called me and confirmed that they foumd them and had them there for me to pick-up! Yeah......points for positive outcomes!!!
Really good food and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so comfortable and pretty :)
On 2-12-2024 we had a meal at Thai Ginger in Factoria. The service was ok but the food was no able to be eaten. We ordered 2 Star and received at least a 4 star. We could not eat the food, it was simply too hot and they never checked back with us to comment. Finally, at the end of the meal time, the waiter never came back, he was "server D". When we went up to pay, we told him that we could not eat the food. They seem to act like they do not understand English but he did. My husband did leave a tip and he nearly beat him up over the amount. He nearly chased my husband down and started yelling him at the door and showed a lot of anger. We tried to explain to him that the service was marginal, that he never came bank and that we could not eat the food. We did not even take it home. The following day, I called to talk with the owner, wo we know. I was told she was out of town so I called Redmond Town Center. I talked with May, who said she was the manager. I told her what happened and asked to speak to the owner. She told me she was out of the county. I told May what happened and she told us to come to Redmond one night and ask for her and she would replace the meal that we could not eat. It was $74.36. We went last night and we had a good meal. When she brought the bill, I reminded her what she said and she apparently misrepresented that she is not the manager and went to talk with Ken, who said he was the manager. She lied about what she told us but then recalled her conversation with me and told Ken and he came back our table and said, "if you don't pay, I will call security". Ken states he called the owner and she said we had to pay. I have no idea if he called her or not but all of this has been a horrific experience and after 20 years of going to Thai Ginger, we will never go back. There is constant turn over and the food in Factoria is not consistently good. There is no reason for any restaurant to treat good customers like this and especially people who have gone for over 20 years, Even then the owner was in prison, we supported her restaurant. These people are crooks and highly dishonest. For any owner to allow her employees to treat nice people like this is unbelievable especially, when she herself spent a great deal of time in Sea-Tac prison for dishonest acts. The credibility starts with the owners down. We plan to dispute the charges with Visa. This restaurant has gone hill and all of them have gone out of business but two now. Also, the business has been very diminished in Factoria so others must be experiencing the bad good, constant turn over and increased prices. I would strongly avoid Vivian's two Thai Ginger restaurants especially when employees nearly beat you up and then threaten you.
Awesome food, great service
This was probably the best Thai Food I've had. I've been eating Thai food since the 80s. I had the Tom Kha soup band the Phad Thai. Both were great. The service was quick and the servers were friendly. I will go here again when in the Factoria area. Parking was easy.
I was extremely impressed with the level of service I received. The food came out fast and very efficiently. Courses came out in order from appetizers to main course like it's supposed to. Food was cooked exactly how I asked for it, was packed with flavor, and came out very hot. My fried tofu had a perfect crisp and was soft(not rubbery). Nat and Varee constantly checked in on me to refill my water, pull used dishware as soon as I was done, and made absolutely sure I was fully satisfied with the quality of my meal. You guys rock and will definitely be coming back with my whole family! Thank you guys!
Food not great 😕
Love the Pad Thai so much! Choose the beef or no protein for best experience. Chicken was a little dry so I don't order that option any longer. Always hot and ready when we order ahead.
The server complained about our toddler dropping some grains of rice. She even told us we needed to clean after him in a very rude manner. Pad Thai was salty and curry had only a few veggies. We wouldn't recommend coming here.
Our regular Thai restaurant choice - love their curries, Tom Kha Gai soup and Phas Prik King - always good!!
I’ve been coming here since I was in college and I have never had their Crispy Garlic Chicken. Only because I have my favorites here, one being their Crab Fried Rice, but we’re back living in the area again. Let me just say that I’ve been missing out!

Worst service!
I am sad, you can not expect quality to last forever. My standard Pad Thai order was definitely lacking. I was so looking forward to a great Pad Thai.
Thai Ginger made me realize how much I like Thai food after having had so many bad experiences in Seattle and elsewhere. The service was great and warranted a 22% tip. I got a 3-star for spice level and it was perfect. Their Tom Yum soup is the best I've had as well as their Pad See Ew and Pad Kam. I can't wait to go back!
The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive but not hovering, checked on us at appropriate moments, ensured our water glasses were full, etc. We chatted for a while after lunch, and did not feel we were being rushed out . Our waitress also made sure that when we took our leftovers home, there was a tiny full box of fresh rice with it.
The food arrived quickly, looked appetizing, smelled amazing, and tasted greatl. I got a four-star spicy dish, the Panang Curry with tofu; it was spiced exactly as I hoped. The sauce was yummy. I took a bit of the curry home, and ate wonderful leftovers with every drop of the sauce.
We enjoyed the entire experience and will return to this location again, soon I hope.
I ordered Pad Thai from this place today, and overall, the dish was flavorful. However, unfortunately, I found a piece of eggshell while eating my Pad Thai. This was quite unexpected and slightly marred the dining experience. I hope the kitchen staff will be more careful in the future to ensure that this doesn't happen to other customers. It was delivered.
This place used to be great, but they have jacked up the prices and cut the servings. Prawn Pad Thai is $23 and they gave me a grand total of FOUR shrimp! TWENTY-THREE DOLLARS FOR FOUR MEDIUM SIZED SHRIMP!They've done this multiple times now. The spring rolls cost twice as much as they did last year and they have starting giving you significantly less of them for $13. It's just plain not worth it any more. $76 for 2 Pad Thai, 1 spring rolls, 1 giew tod, and peanut sauce. $38 per person for getting shorted on ingredients. Absolute rip off. This is not fine dining, this is take-out for crissake.
I have been coming to this Thai restaurant for years. I usually go here during lunch hour which for me varies depending on the day etc. They usually have my lunch ready within five minutes after ordering. The food is very high quality and always taste great
Crab fried rice is a must!
Pro tip-order a couple dishes and share.
Wow I’m so impressed with this Thai place. I typically do not like Thai because in the past I’ve found it’s sweet and peanut butter heavy. This place is not this. This place had the most varied and flavorful Thai food I’ve ever had. It’s so good and I am happy about everything we’ve had. We got a pad Thai which was the most nuanced pad Thai I’ve ever had.
One of the first Thai restaurants I was brought to when I first came to Seattle and the most impressive so far larger portions with reasonable prices so fresh and hot and a large variety
Very busy place with take out. They have one or 2 items on the menu that are good, but the rest of the menu give you regrets, after you taste.
No flavor to call the food Thai food
I could have done much better cooking & preparing it my self. Or get ready to cook meals from fredmeyer, or Safeway.
The lady who takes orders , expect customers to know the menu, and the food, she offer no help, or suggestions, or how the food taste, then when you order , and get the food. The food is a big disappointment, and a big regret.
The service is a rush rush service without any quality
This location is a big disappointment 😞 😞 😞
Really solid, tasty Thai food. We had the mussuman curry and pad see eiw. We enjoyed their spice set that they brought to the table, the Thai chillis really pack a punch. Service was quick and friendly.
Way overpriced for the food quality. Service was great but the pad thai was incredibly greasy and slimy.
The restaurant was super hot and uncomfortable. The seafood was overcooked. Waitress was nice and food comes out fast
Food was great and service unbelievably fast. Really nice wait people. The place is clean and looks fine, just nothing special about it. But it doesn't matter. Everything else makes up for it.
I don’t understand all the low reviews, a group of us dinned inside before heading the Barbie movie and the service was so good and the food was amazing, big portions and so flavorful. I would recommend the crispy garlic chicken and pad Thai above everything else! This place is a gem!
Have been going here for 15 years+. Food has gone down hill and the restaurant needs to be updated. My last visit we had a cockroach jump on our table... please do a remodel.
I got this as takeout, but unwanted to share my experience. The Pad Thai noodles were overcooked and there was a very strong unfamiliar flavor (like vinegar?). Maybe this was intended, this is just very unlike other Thai restaurants I have been to. Not a fan. I got 5/5 spicy but it was pretty mild for a Thai restaurant, unfortunately.
The black sticky rice seemed undercooked, forming a hard ball in the middle of the container. The coconut sauce was very salty. There really wasn’t any sweetness to balance out the salt.
The Thai iced coffee was great though!
We used to love to eat at Thai Ginger. Everything was five star. But since a year ago the quality and the quantity has been reduced. Like for ginger prons ,there was nine pieces of prons, but now it's reduced to five. Regardless our server OAT is very pleasant lady.
- Had cashew tofu with brown rice: it was wonderful and felt healthy :-) too
- Staff was very friendly and food was prompt
Only reason to hold back on 5* is that the lunch-meal option didn't have a way of subbing meat with tofu. That can be the only sub and I suspect that they can still make it large quantities to make it worthwhile for a meal.
I would have given a 4.5 if it was possible :-)
This place has food full of flavor and the friendliest customer service!! 10/10 would recommend!!
There is so much sugar in the food
Good soup 🍲 and noodles place
Would recommend dining in here. We got take out and don't get me wrong, everything was very good. But the crispy garlic chicken was a bit soggy because it took a while before we could eat it. I bet if we ate it there it would've been even more tasty. Overall great food!
We love this place. Awesome food and great staff. The service is quick and food is always fresh.
This is the only Thai restaurant I eat at in town. Always love it.
Amazong seafood combo pad thai. Wonderful owner and staff. A delight and honor
Had cashew chicken and a fresh roll for lunch. Fresh, quick, and friendly service. I’ll be back when in Factoria.
Didn't have the best experience on my last visit. Had to send the food back as it was overcooked. Won't go there again.
Love it
You will need to wait 20min for your take out even if it's ready on the shelf. The cashier is very rude and never cares about take out orders.
Dirty place. My wife got sick from her meal. We watched them seat a couple after a previous customer without wiping down the table. Yikes
Such bad service. Mediocre food. Will absolutely not be back.
I swear the men's bathroom has a ring camera in it
The food was only so so but the service was absolutely terrible. Nobody checked on us. Nobody refilled our beverages. And the waitress didn't even wait for me to say brown rice not white. I definitely will not be going back.
I really like this place. The staff there is always so pleasant and honestly, the genuine warmth that my family feels when we are greeted is what keeps us going back. This is probably our go to mid-week dinner spot for Thai. All of the dishes are what you would expect and not too sweet. You can go to many other places and try to go upscale Thai but Thai is more earthy and you want good reliable Thai dishes. This is the spot! I would recommend this place to family and friends as a good place for good food and overall good vibe.
Love this place, the staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, to go orders are quick. And the food is SO. GOOD!
It's been a favorite of ours for 15-20 years!!
Our waitress overlooked us, passed by our table, no water refills, and then had the nerve to expect a LARGE tip!! Used to be my go to restaurant but not anymore...NEVER again
As a premier Thai restaurant Thai ginger is always a good option. Higher priced than some options yes but you pay for the quality and service. Speaking of service the staff are very fast and get you what you need or want as soon as you ask for it. Parking was interested as you can only get it from the north otherwise you may need to make a U turn.
Used to be good, but no longer. No flavor on 4 dishes we ordered, and the crispy garlic chicken tasted so bad we threw it out. Very disappointing! Guess others must have had a similar experience ‘cause on a Saturday night at 7:30pm the place was virtually empty.
Made error after error with my order. I know they are capable of better. The seem to think when a substitution is requested if they don’t have it, eh just omit it. Also having lived in Asia; 3 stars does not equal burns around mouth & ER trip. It’s been more recently I’ve noticed the lack of concern. Oddly I’ve had superior Thai food in Bonney Lake. And very allergy conscious, without compromising flavor.
Dine in where communication is direct, otherwise it’s more hit than miss.
Don't go there. Pad Thai horrible. Beef tough and uneatable Noodles soggy. Told waitress and no response.
very satisfied with the food and very good service 👌
Very poor service, waiters so rude to us. My baby is 10 months, she cried during dinner this waiter was so mean to my baby so we leave the restaurant; I pay the bill even I didn’t eat my food but she was mad why I didn’t left her any tips. She start yelling leave and never come back to this restaurant...
I've been coming here for 20+ years and always enjoyed my meal. The food is fresh and flavorful and the service is friendly and efficient. Because we had a late lunch (after 2pm) over the holidays, we were able to have a leisurely conversation without hogging a table while others waited.
I ordered Phad Prik King and my friend had a curry. Both were delicious.
Another great experience at Thai Ginger!
Food was terrific. Service was good but it was busy so they were spread thin. Price was very affordable.
One of the best Thai restaurants in Belleview! The parking is a little tight but there is more parking around back. The lunch special is the best, pad Thai, choice of 3 sides, rice and cute little egg rolls. Awesome service that works as a team. Delicious
The food is okay. They messed up my pad thai order, I asked for fried tofu not the mushy kind, they gave me the mushy kind. Had to pick it out. We've been coming for years so kind of bummed. The staff is friendly.
I used to love Thai Ginger, but I haven't been happy the last couple times. This is the second time we ordered 2 ⭐ and got 4 ⭐ spice. I couldn't eat half without my mouth and stomach burning. My Pad Thai was over cooked, and as spicy as both dishes ordered were, they were otherwise not very flavorful. I was hoping for improvement but not so far.
This place has excellent Phad thai and the people that work here are extremely friendly!
Good food, mean service
Coconut seafood soup was the best. Good phad Thai. Not so good crispy garlic chicken...cooked too long...dry.
Awesome food, Make sure to tell them not to add fish sauce to certain dishes.
RAW Chicken DO NOT GOOO!
This is my first time experience here, and this is what I got in my Tom yum soup, the servers said that’s normal. I have had Tom yum my entire life I’ve never had once see a mussels with hair. I grew up next to Thailand having this soup every day and I didn’t know American mussels have hair. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN.
This used to be one of my favorite thai restaurant in Seattle but won’t be going here again. Not only they “prioritize” delivery foods (the staffs are busy cooking and packing doordash, uber eats, etc) so the dining service is just terrible but also the server took more tips than what I tipped. Please cross check your receipt with the actual charge amount on your card.
Bad food and awful service.
Favorite dish is Cashew Chicken
We ordered a Tom-Kah soup with chicken and the chicken had an old stinky flavor.
The server was kind of rude. I don’t like to write reviews at all but a restaurant should not serve old passed food. This can cause food poisoning.
Horrible experience. The old woman who served us never bother to come and ask us during the meal. She never spoke or asked anything. I asked for a wine menu and then she just took it away even without asking if I would like a glass. Very embarrassing moment and bad service.
Asked for spicy chicken pad Thai 4 stars got level 2 . Soggy noodles. Don’t order the crispy garlic chicken to go, they don’t poke a corner hole to let the steam release. Would even dream on calling them crispy.
Very disappointed both in the take out service and the food. The lady who took my credit card didn’t even say thank you, even though I tipped her. We each got the coconut sticky rice. The mango was also unflavorful but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. However, the coconut milk was salty instead of sweet. The Pad Thai was ok, the Pad see ew was good, the curry was good. The other appetizers were just ok. In the future, I’ll look for a different Thai place before coming back here.
it says close at 8, but they kick us out at 7:40
Lunch at Thai Ginger was superb. The lunch special plates are a large portion that includes your entrée of choice, rice, phad Thai, and veggies. This is a small place so expect to wait a bit if you go during the lunch time rush. Service was efficient and on point. The restaurant is super clean. We will be back!
Yummy food and reasonable prices. And kind service. I had the chicken with yellow curry.
The food is a bit americanized. The waitresses have a bossy attitude, but I don't mind it.
Fan of both cashew and sweet & sour chicken
The service was wonderful. The lettuce wraps were delicious. Would definitely go again.
