Amazing to literally stumble across this little treasure during our visit to Bainbridge Island. This family owned Thai restaurant is a must do if you ever visit the island. Only a short walk to reach this little spot of paradise. Emily will most likely great you with a beaming smile and a wonderful personality. Service is as fantastic as the food. Food was very flavorless, pale and tasted nothing like the Thai dishes we’re used to getting in Seattle or Poulsbo even. The rice was overcooked as well.

First and last time eating from this restaurant (on my lunch). Purchased the Phad Thai and Basil Chicken. Will not return.

We had high hopes for a cute location Thai restaurant when we craved our fav Thai dishes. But our table ended up waiting 50min for our main dishes we only order one thing each and my husband still waited more his dish to be served after us. We had to eat fast to catch the 8:55p ferry. We couldn't do our plans as we wanted visiting for the first time Bainbridge. But the owner didn't look happy, seems like the wife was the only one cooking. The restaurant wasnt busy and the servers didn't seem they cared and or help with accommodation to the bill when we waited so long. The food was over priced for small servings too.. just bad over all! And I never write reviews but wow.. not okay.

I was recommended this place by a close friend, I walked into the restaurant and boy oh boy the atmosphere was amazing, and the food delivered on that initial feeling, my server was kind nice and caring. We ordered spring rolls but instead we had fried wonton rolls that were tasteless… the waitress was nice but she insisted the fried wontons were spring rolls when they were not fresh nor spring rolls because they were fried… also we ordered pad Thai and full spice and it wasn’t spicy at all… very bland pad Thai with almost no sauce, no lime and almost no meat… Not worth getting lunch here, go to Pegasus coffee and get some food there…

The food was amazing! We grabbed take out as we had just arrived in the island and Om was so kind to us, she was the server who gave us the food. We felt so welcomed by her in the island, she gave us recommendations of the island and was interacting with us giving us the best advise to enjoy the island in the best way possible. Great location. A little confusing at first because nobody was at the door, so we thought they were closed. We ordered fresh rolls, garlic chicken, and masaman curry. The rolls are the only reason I didn’t give them one star, they were very flavorful and tasty.

My wife’s garlic chicken came out so quick, I except it wasn’t freshly fried. The chicken was in very small pieces, and the garlic was dry so no flavor at all. We’ve had this dish before at other Thai restaurants and it’s always been a favorite so this was a major disappointment. Top it off it was served on top of the same sugary sweet sauce that came with the fresh rolls, and barely cooked vegetables. My wife also found a few flies in her rice. For $18 we expected more.

My curry was pretty good. Not used to the plate being served with the curry on top of the rice already, but it wasn’t bad.

The service was the most disappointing. My wife wanted soy sauce with her rice, kept waiting for a server to come by and after about 10 minutes I just went to the kitchen and asked. I believe this is why my wife got flies in her rice cause it was just sitting there. I heard multiple other people having a hard time getting a waiters attention to get the check as well.

Overall we probably won’t be back. The food quality and service didn’t warrant the crazy high prices they were charging. I understand that they have to run a business, but 3 items and a bill of $52 bucks for just two people is a little ridiculous.

Got the Phad see ew beef and it was amazing. The wide rice noodles were perfect. Staff super friendly and we sat on the water - beautiful vibes.

Work lunch, very good food

Tasty food ..we were generously hosted with our take out meal that we ate overlooking the harbor and the local boats ...we had just arrived in Bainbridge and didn't realize that lots of restaurants close at 7.30 or 8pm ..and the delightful staff really made us welcome and made that extra effort with a take out suggestion. Much appreciated and the food was great.

The lunch menu was perfect for us. All four meals were delicious and quickly served. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful day.

We had dinner here on the recommendation of a docent at a nearby museum. It happened to be the owner's birthday and he was visiting the tables and bringing birthday cake to share. It is clear this is a local favorite and the restaurant treats its regulars like stars. We sat outside by the water, with a view that just can't be beat. The food service was prompt. We stuck with familiar dishes like pad thai and red curry, and they did not disappoint. I would definitely dine here again almost as much for the view/atmosphere as for the food.

Three of us dropped in for an early dinner. What a view!! Our 3 dinners had unique fresh sauces with crisp vegetables. The service was warm and friendly. The homemade mango ice cream over lightly fried banana was a delightful and perfect way to end a great visit. We'll be back!!

Reliably good Thai food at decent prices. The Phad Kee Mao with Tofu was everything I hoped for, but not exceptional. Our party was very happy with the service, although one of the dishes ordered with two star spice level was nearly too spicy to eat.

Food was a solid 4.5 but the wait staff was a 3, it would be a 4.5 if the buss boy was in charge.

I couldn’t be happier to have chosen Bainbridge Thai Cuisine for my family gathering! I had a party of 15 who were all visiting from different states for a mini reunion. Lunch was casual but Bainbridge Thai Cuisine made it a special dining experience with warm, fast and friendly service, delicious Thai food and beautiful views! This spot is a true gem and this family owned business has won my top places for future intimate dining to another memorable experience with large parties. Great food and great service is harder to come by and this place did not disappoint!

I read reviews about this place that said "mediocre food", "excellent view", "a BI icon run by a nice family". I would say that sums up my experience. The view from outside is fantastic and the family that runs the place very friendly but the food was mediocre Thai food. Still was enjoyable to eat but if you are looking for fine Thai food, this is not your place. Fine Thai food, to me, is delicately prepared, well seasoned and attractive in appearance. The food here was more like what you'd get at home during the middle of the week.

This is one of my absolute favorite places in the world - and is the BEST pad thai I have ever had in my life! For the last 6-7 years I would drive 35 minutes one way, just to come pick up some food. It is THAT good and that consistent! Over the years, it has become my ultimate comfort food. From celebrations, to the worst days imaginable - Teddys pad thai has always been there to comfort me. Also - the rice is perfectly cooked every single time and they use an incredible jasmine rice that is so flavorful and a perfect accompaniment to my noodles. Thank you for all of the years of fantastic food, I am looking forward to many many more!

Dissatisfied - ordered for pickup - was quoted 30 minutes. I arrived to pick up with many people standing around waiting. Staff appeared to be hiding. When someone finely came out 40 minutes after I had ordered - I was told it would be 20 minutes. I explained that my order was to have been ready 10 minutes prior. The hostess disappeared to check. I was then approached by a second individual who inquired of me and I explained that I was waiting on a pickup order - he too disappeared to check. An hour after I had placed my order - the hostess resurfaced with our order. A meek apology was offered and I walked away with my order. Once home I found the order incomplete. I am a long time island resident, I have ordered many time from the restaurant - often without full satisfaction. No more - two other very good if marginally less convenient Thai restaurants that will see a marginal uptick in their business.

You won’t find a Thai restaurant in the US with a better view.

This restaurant was pretty good. The location was nice, located right by the dock, and the Thai iced tea was some of the best I've ever had. I ordered the smoked salmon, and it was a bit undercooked. The staff were also friendly, so I give it 4 stars.

They take a break in the middle of the day from like 3:00-4:30 and they were pretty rude when we came in looking at food, even though there was no closed sign and the door was wide open. The hostess was laying down with her shoes off, feet up on a chair and informed us the WHOLE RESTAURANT was on break. Definitely not going there again. They should advertise that they take a middle of the day break.

Was just here and the food is delicious 😋 too bad people can be rude. As we were walking out, I heard the waitress say, here is our tip and began laughing behind our backs (So sad since times are hard these days). I saved money to bring my mom here for a nice mother's day dinner. I'm not rich but I tried to leave some tip for the their service. Won't ever come back here. That was very humiliating to have people laugh for the small tip I left.
