Some dishes that I thought were good include Singapore Rice Noodle and Beef with spring onion. Those dishes were quite the standout.

The sliced pork with sizzling rice was ok. Sauce was extremely heavy and unnecessarily salty. Overall taste was ok.

The lo mein noodles were thick and sticky. Both items had a bitter taste as of Old oil was used. I was surprised that the vegetable lo mein included two pieces of broccoli, onions (which were ultra soggy), a mushroom or two and a few shredded carrots. That’s it! I’m used to having bright, fresh vegetables in my lo mein. I paid $34.00 for these two dishes that were definitely subpar. Sometimes I wonder who is writing these reviews. The search continues for descent Chinese food in Woodbridge. By the way, I did not eat this and did get my money back thanks to DoorDash!

I was craving walnut shrimp, and I took a chance on this restaurant. I received something that doesn't resemble the creamy white sauce I was anticipating, but it's not bad. It's actually pretty good, and if I wasn't specifically craving that sweet Americanized white sauce, I wouldn't be bothered and tuck in. Unfortunately for me, that's what I'm craving and I just wanted to give others a heads-up.

Look no further, this is your spot for genuine Chinese food. The taste is amazing, every dish I can't say enough about the quality of food and level of service Hunan brings to the table.

The eggs didn't taste like eggs and the food was just horrible. They doubled the price but the food doesn't match the price. I will not order from them again and I will not recommend this establishment to my family or friends.

You grab your bag of food and sit down. Quality of food has dropped. Plus prices went up pretty good. I will unfortunately have to find a new Chinese restaurant. I really loved this place. Such a shame that this new owner could not keep a good thing going.

Chicken curry is a simple dish. It's actually kinda hard to screw up. It shouldn't taste like someone substituted salt for the curry.

This place used to be great when the owner was running it. The last 4 orders have been inaccurate, did not get what I ordered, or got what I did not order. For example, ordered hot sauce, and did not get the order at all. Ordered Kung Pho w/chicken extra chicken, and got two sweet and sour chicken soups. Ordered two orders of crispy roll (four rolls), but only got one! This place is not longer a great place to order from!

November and quiet, we were the only 2 people there. Food was delicious as always. Been going here 25 years.

Last year in 2021, General TSO chicken alone was around $9.99.
Now it is close to $15!? That is an insane price spike regardless of The inflation going on.
Will sadly take my business elsewhere after being a consistent customer for the past 10+ years!

Some of the food egg foo yung is good but they gave me leftover fried wings.

Stumbled onto this place a few months ago and it quickly became my favorite Chinese in Northern Virginia (Lo’s in Nutley Street in Fairfax is the only other one I’ll order from). This is old school New York Cantonese food. Stick with the classics here and you won’t go wrong. The front desk lady is working hard keeping the place open during a pandemic, so give her a break.

A little below average. We ordered General Tso, Hunan Pork, Sesame Chicken, Pepper Beef, Spring Rolls and fried rice. Spring Rolls were soggy and not fresh. Gen Tso and Sesame chicken were the same sauce with red peppers on the Tso and sprinkled Sesame seeds of the sesame Chicken... same with the Pork and Beef, same brown sauce not difference in flavor. Not going back again. Too many other choices to waste our calories and money again. Sad.... we use to go there pretty frequently. Purchased food on October 13 2021, threw out the left overs.

I grew up in woodbridge and currently live in manassas but boy is this Chinese food good I love this place everything on the menu tastes good ! I love their Chicken with Broccoli I recommend this place ! Since I live in manassas i go all the way to Woodbridge just to get this when I want Chinese!

I grew up here in Woodbridge and have been eating here for a long time. I highly recommend checking it out. One of my favorite menu items is the singapore rice noodles which come in an overstuffed carton of goodness. The customer service is always great as well!

Great Food!

My s.o. and I love this place! We come every few days or every other week to get the parchment prawns...so delicious and made quickly! The women in the front are always very nice too.

They now charge you 0.50 cents for 1 single red pepper spicy sauce.... not for extra ones for just 1. how ridiculous is that !!!! And yes that is true..the front desk lady is not friendly at all... never smiles or makes you feel welcomed

Delicious Chinese food! Many choices, very clean, - the owner and staff are friendly and wonderful! It is one of my favorite places for a great healthy lunch or dinner. They are the best I have found in Northern Virginia..

This is our favorite dining in Chinese restaurant in the area. We all have favorites on the menu but I've tried a wide variety of menu items and they have always been excellent. Very friendly staff, cloth tablecloth and napkins add to a really pleasant dining experience

Easily my favorite Chinese take out in Woodbridge. Their orange chicken is delicious, most places I've gone to before is mostly breading and soggy. Not here, it is always prepared fresh and the breading is always crispy. I've always ordered take out, never dined in. If you have had food delivered previously, they send you a paper menu with coupons as well, which is great when you're feeling some really great Chinese food, but need a free lo mein or a couple extra bucks off your order. I have also had the fried dumpling appetizer. The very first time I had them they were amazing, but the few times I had them afterwards the soft part of the dumpling was soggy and the meat inside didn't seem as high of quality as the first time. I'm really picky with fat and gristle and they had it every time I got it except for the very first time I ordered it. So if you're like me I'd stay away from that. Only on one occasion when calling in an order, I had extreme difficulty understanding the woman on the other end, That was the only time I ordered right when they opened. Every time I've called in the evening I always have an easy time ordering. You can also order from an app BeyondMenu, to avoid any confusion.

This joint has a Thai menu in addition to the Chinese. I tried the Thai menu first and really loved it. Came back and ordered some Chinese and it was great too. The only reason I don’t give it a 5-star rating, is because the fried rice was a little too dry. Price is great and I enjoyed eating off the white table cloth for lunch and dinner. Mixed drinks were good too.

Tried a couple times. Pretty much disgusting. Think they make it by delivery only and people must be desperate. I went by and picked my food up .... ghost town with a very disinterested lady surfing her iPad endlessly and they may have had to wake the chef up to make my food. Won’t be back. Eat at your own risk. Not recommended.

I've been going to this place for years since I've lived in the Woodbridge area. I moved to Fredricksburg and I still think it's one of the best Chinese food places around. They're service is good and the food is always prepared quickly and correctly. If there is any issues they take care of it.

The food here is amazing if your looking for a nice place to eat this place is a great hang out not ever crowed and great service .

I ordered online and the food was delivered within 30 minutes on a busy Saturday night. They are very generous with their portions and the food is delicious. I will order again.

Great clean place with good ambiance; all tables have white table cloths and lovely Chinese plates and glassware; great food; good quantities and the price is great too. Really liked this place-we will be back. The manager has very good customer service skills. She recommends dishes and asks questions and tells you what’s best to have.

I love coming to this place , it’s quiet and food it’s great I even ask for extra fried egg on top of my fried rice and they just do it, the owner always treat me great.

worst customer service Ever

Over at a friend's house, not my usual place, and we ordered General Tso Chicken. It was terrible and tasted like it was cooked days ago and just reheated with some sauce. Probably the worst representation of the dish I have ever had the displeasure of eating. The cook needs to be gone immediately.

Do not eat there anymore. Nasty food and rude customer service. I can always spend my money elsewhere.

The food is ok, but the service sucks! They delivered my order wrong, when I called to find out why, they just hang up the phone on me and the lady said “whatever”. We have been their client for so long and this is the customer service my family received. I’ll surely never go back there. Horrible service!

ordered delivery and got spicy string beans and general tso chicken. both were absolutely horrible. i ordered medium spicy for both and they were both super sweet with absolutely no spice to it whatsoever. when i called about the string beans the gentelman told me that the reason they didnt make it spicy was because i only wanted it medium spicy, (which makes no sense) and that they could have the driver send me some more sauce(which came in a tiny container). the string beans had no little to no actual sauce and the chicken was a sauce over load. will never ever order from this place again and would never recommend it to anyone else. driver was the only person who knows how to do their job there other then that it was horrible

We ordered a whole duck and it was like it has been cooked last week. It was so dry and no meat. We felt like we just paid $27 for duck bone and skin. If you order online with a note with your order. They will not read that note. Never order from this place again.

We usually order from east moon, but wanted to try something different. We ordered from hunan d lite last night (12/16/2015). I got the sweet and sour chicken,crab rangoon, fried wantons. Ate around 7p.m. woke up at midnight and puked it in the toilet. Will not eat from here again.

Worst Chinese place in woodbridge... first of all I paid for a large and received my meal and the to go order wasn't full. I asked for no broccoli and received extra. Then the guy looks at me like he has no idea what I'm saying. I just walked out because I know my temper. Needless to say I will never go there again... just bad service and back portions of food...

BEST General Tso's Tofu that I've ever had. I make it a point to go here when I visit from Wisconsin.

Our family has been eating at, or having food delivered almost every week for over 20 years. We have never had a bad meal and our service was always excellent. Parchment Prawns, Hunan Fish, Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce, Pepper Steak, Shrimp Chow Main, Steamed Dumplings, Chicken Satay and Pork Spareribs are some of our favorites. Mary, our kid's and I highly recommend Hunan D'Lite to anyone that enjoys Chinese food and a reasonable price.

Unless you had lived underground and then you visit this place, you'll be okay. For people with average expectations this place would be terrible. Old, dirty, waiter was the worst. She was mad for everything.

My husband and I ate there for for an in home date night. Overall I would say that the meal was unremarkable. The food was OK. There were certain menu items that were very good. For instance the meat dumplings were delicious. The the calamari was a bit too salty I find myself constantly reaching for a glass of water just to get rid of the sensation of all the salt my husband ordered the general tsos shrimp but they accidentally delivered chicken. The fried wontons were disgusting they taste it is if someone fried the fortune cookies for 1 hour and hot grease. We won't be ordering from here again the young man that delivered the food didn't have change and I was forced to give him an 8 dollar tip. But the good news is I'm writing this review with my brand new second generation Nexus 7 which I will give 5 out of 5 stars my wife just added that she just realized that everything we ordered was actually Friday in cluding the shrimp that was inside the curry sauce we should have just ate at McDonalds

This is the best Chinese that I have found since moving to Virginia! We have tried at least 10 others in the area and although all the restaurants are pretty much the same, this one seems to have the best quality and taste. I always get the General Tso chicken and the chicken fried rice which I strongly recommend! The crab puffs are also the best, not to fishy and full! We have never ate at the restaurant, but delivery has always been great, not to fast where you worry about your food being pre-made but not slow enough to take to long.
