Warm, easygoing Thai kitchen crafting a mix of noodles, curries, veggies, meat & rice options.
Visiting Williamsburg again, decided to do a take out. Out of 4 dishes we ordered, 3/4 were good. Fried rice and two curries dishes were great, but the chef special dish of Salmon with garlic sauce and veggies was a disappointment. Maybe it is take out, that’s why it wasn’t up to par for the taste or the portion. Salmon was cooked too dry, and it didn’t taste or smell too fresh, also the portion compared to dining in portion was half of the size. For the value of 26 bucks for chef’s recommendation, it is not worth it. But like I said it might have been take out order, I’ll give them the benefit of doubt :) the service was great, and the restaurant looks well decorated. Check out their menu and my take out pic of just fried rice and salmon.
A FRESH alternative to the other Thai restaurants in town that drown their entress in fried fatty sugary sauces! Also the portions are normal sized here, not enough for 2 meals like other places where you feel you ate way too much... here the protein is tender, vegetables crisp, and delicious well designed sauces and spices. Heat level altered to your taste. Presentation of egg rolls was fun and unexpected. Owners friendly and attentive. Go and enjoy!
Food was AMAZING! Authentic Thai that hit the spot. It was so good we had to order food to go just so we can try more of their different dishes!
Restaurant has two different dining areas with soft seating booths and regular tables. Service was on point - attentive but not overwhelming.
We tried the:
Wonton Soup - broth is perfectly seasoned. Sometimes I find wonton to be on the salty side, not the case with theirs. Plus they add bok choy, scallions and carrots. Dumplings were wonderful too with a blend of chicken and pork.
Massaman Curry - We ordered ours with extra chicken. When I asked if they can hold the peanuts, our server assured me everything is made fresh so I can adjust it if requested! Knowing that made it more appealing.
To Go - We ordered the Green Curry and that was also delectable. So much so, what was supposed to be lunch the next day became a second dinner when we got home. Also tried the Duck in Basil and Eggplant. The duck was cooked perfectly - crispy, tender, and no gamey flavor.
Bathroom
Bathroom: Separate men's and women's bathrooms with 2 stalls in the women's.
Clean: Yes
Changing Table: No
Bonus features: None to mention
Add'l Notes: They have decor elements, for example wooden bathroom stall doors, to brighten up the bathroom.
Thai Green curry changed my wife's life. She loved the coconut milk, the flavor, and the chicken perfectly done. I had the sweet and sour, and the spice was great at medium. The night's crowd was off which made it difficult to enjoy the ambiance, but the decor fit well. Great service, very patient!
We love Thai food and we're super excited to finally give this place a try. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. We were seated immediately and didn't wait very long to place our orders. We started off with the appetizer sampler which sounded amazing but ended up being rather underwhelming. The portions were relatively small for the price and sadly everything pretty much tasted the same and was relatively bland which is not a word I use to describe Thai food. The ownton was flat and if it had any type of filling, we couldnt detect it. Hubby ordered the Tom Kha soup and said it was okay but was missing the flavors we usually expect in that soup. I ordered the lettuce wraps based off of the description and despite the different flavors described, all I could taste was fish sauce and chili, couldn't really detect lime or ginger. Definitely an appetizer and not so much a portion for an actual meal. Overall we were quite disappointed with the food not terrible but definitely not great. Our server was amazing, she was friendly and consistently checking on us without being intrusive.
Always a delightful experience and delicious meal! A go to for us when company arrives. Truly a favorite!
Best Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Steamed dumplings, Masuman Curry & Thai Iced Tea around!
We visited Williamsburg and tried a few Thai restaurants of which Aticha really stood out from the rest. Their spring rolls, drunken noodles (thai hot) and green curry (thai hot) were quite good with the right amount of spice!
The service was outstanding!! Our server was very kind, and the food was delicious. My cousin got a dish they didn't like, and the waiter got her a new dish. We offered to pay for the one they took away, but they quietly took it off our tab. Our meal was delicious and comforting, chatting as we listened to Christmas Bossa Nova :] I highly recommend eating here!
The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. I like the seating and the ambience of the place as well. Overall, really lovely.
Love the new digs. Same great food and familial pleasantness. Never had a bad dish. Try the appetizer sampler... great.
Larb salad...so good.
Another evening of great food and service. Try any of the curry dishes.
Never disappoints!!!
Something has changed here recently. Food is overpriced and taste has gone downhill fast! Not sure if it is a new cook or what. Recommend going to a different restaurant until they figure out the kitchen situation.
Great spicy sc
Had an amazing dinner for my birthday. The waitress was attentive and very helpful guiding me through the variety of fabulous dishes. Food was amazing! I would recommend amazing place to anyone ❤️
I'm at awe with this restaurant!
I wish I could do justice to my experience...
If you love food and wish to find a place where they care about every aspect of your dining experience then this is the place for you! The attention to detail provided to every dish to ensure that flavor and the palate of flavor is accomplished with each bite is extraordinary! It is a rare experience where I truly feel that my culinary expertise is out matched by an everyday dish prepared by a restaurant.
Hands down some of the best Thai cuisine you will find anywhere. Cannot go wrong with any dish you order.
Excellent food. The service is super friendly and knowledgeable. They will tell you spice level to exact perfection. I travel from Richmond for their food. Highly recommended
Dined in and ordered the dish with pineapple . It did not come with chicken so I had it added it. The meals flavor was fine but vegetables was mostly onion which I had to pile on the edge of the plate. There was about 5 extremely thin pieces of chicken which I had to search for. Indicated this to the waitress, whom was very nice and she related to the manager or boss. She returned to our table and thanked me for the review and left. The bill was $60 plus gratuity. We went back home and ate a snack to complete the meal.
There were 3 adults and 1 toddler in our party. The waiter was extremely friendly and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were great to accommodate our needs with a toddler. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Everything we ordered was presented beautifully and tasted beyond great. We ordered fresh rolls, spring rolls, satay (which my toddler LOVED!), yum woon Sen, green curry, spicy shrimp (I can not remember the name), and ginger chicken. The sauces were so good, you could really taste the flavor and they were not extremely oily. We will definitely be back!!!
Amazing service! Went with a larger group of 7 and they were wonderful! Great food and amazing service.
Preporučio bih ovaj restoran bez ikakvih ograda, veoma lepo iskustvo !!!
The tea came warm and the food is average.
Great authentic Thai food! Our server is nice. Reasonable price and good ambiance. We’ll be back again😊
Great new Thai restaurant in the area
A FRESH alternative to the other Thai restaurants in town that drown their entress in fried fatty sugary sauces! Best Thai place in town. Don’t waste your time at other Thai restaurants. This is it.
I have never been treated so special on my bd. It was perfect!!
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. The owner was very friendly. Highly recommend it

We ordered 4 dishes and 3/4 of them were good. The Massaman curry was really good but the green curry was missing something.
I also ordered wontons and they were not worth $9. There was barely any filling in the wontons so you were basically paying for the pastry portion. That was kind of disappointing but I would return and get the massaman curry.

We eat here fairly regularly and I just wanted to complement them on their consistent high-quality of food and service. We have never been disappointed.
Great food and service. Really enjoyed the drunken noodles. Nice atmosphere. Will def. Be back!
I’ve ordered take out several times and it has always been delicious. So happy to have a Thai restaurant close to home.
If would be nice if they let you know they add 20% gratuity to the bill for a certain amount if people at a table
We ate here on a vacation and were unexpectedly blown away by the quality of the food, the great service, and the atmosphere. If you like Thai food and are in Williamsburg, this is the place. Absolutely top quality.
Great service and Thai cuisine.
Will be back soon.
Food was fresh, and favorable. My husband and I first Thai experience, I'm glad it was a good one. He absolutely loved his dish, and he is very, very hard to please, such a foodie. Service was great, the atmosphere was okay. I'm observant at small details. It's time for top to bottom dining room cleaning, especially starting at the top. Loved the flowers on the lights, nice touch.
Good food but serving portions are very small and on top of that, they charge 30% above market price for dishes
Used to be the best Thai restaurant in the area but something happened in January. The food became bland and portion sizes were smaller. Spice levels were consistently wrong. And the great staff of servers was replaced with others who aren’t as efficient or friendly. Too bad.
Best Thai I've had in VA. We stop here everytime we are in the area. Consistently very tasty and the staff is extremely friendly
Was exelent the food was delicious and fresh the customer service was exelent the service was fantastic
A very expensive restaurant with very mediocre food. Lots of heat, little flavor.
I’ve been here twice now and both times have yielded delicious food, a peaceful atmosphere, and amazing service! Although not clearly labeled, there are many vegan options which the staff are very knowledgeable about. Will definitely be back again!
This was a great dining experience. We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a great place to eat. We were not disappointed. Upon entering, we met a "regular" who sang Aticha's praises. He rattled off a half dozen dishes that he and his wife loved. We are curry lovers so we actually didn't try any of his recommendations, but we're not disappointed. The massaman curry was the best we have ever had. I wish we lived closer.
Avoid this restaurant! The Thai iced tea tasted horrible. The pad see ew was watery with little to no taste. Also the proportions... you don't get your money's worth here. It's too overpriced for what you get.
My experience here was disappointing. I recommend going down the street to Bangkok Garden, better food and great Thai iced tea. Never coming here again.
Great food, price and presentation.
I like spicy Thai and this restraunt delivered!
I ordered very hot with noodles and beef. My mouth was on fire but delicate flavors of the noodles shined through! My wife and mother-in-law appreciated the comfy couch like seats with pillows. The spring rolls a must. I agree with other comments the attention to detail puts them above others.
Love the food 😋 and the drinks!!!!
Really disappointed! Cons- Lacks Thai flavor, tiny food portions, overpriced for what you get. Pros- Lady at front was nice and Thai iced tea w/out ice is exactly how it should taste.
I've never gone to a Thai place I wouldn't give another try, but this place is the first.
I always get Thai curry anywhere, but their red Thai curry tasted really weird, like they put too much fish sauce or something so it ruined the whole curry. I couldn't taste any typical curry spices and it was very watery making me wonder if coconut milk was really used or not. Very little meat and looks like a decent amount of veggies because they put it in a shallow small takeout container. If a pint container was used, I don't think it would fill it up. There was more rice to curry as well.
Pineapple fried rice w/chicken- Completely forgot the chicken but they added the upcharge! Tiny to no pieces of pineapple. Just oily and lots of cashews.
Appetizer sampler - very oily and mostly carbs with more wrapper than food inside. Eggrolls are just fried eggroll wrapped shredded cabbage rolls and soggy because the cooked veggies separate the water.
If the meals tasted any good, maybe the price can be justified. But not only are the portions small, there's very little meat or vegetables in the food.
The food portions are like kids size for the price you pay at dinner. I ordered takeout for Thai red curry, the appetizer sampler, pineapple fried rice w/chicken, and a Thai tea for almost $70 total before tip. Everything fit into one regular sized plastic bag.
Portions were way too small for the price...it was noodles and rice and still not much. We ordered carry out so maybe this affected portion size. But I've never experienced less than half full carry out containers at nearly $100 price for 3. What we did have wasn't what I would call memorable either, so we'll try elsewhere next time. Too many other options! Just a heads up when spending our hard earned $$ on rice and noodles with a bit of chicken.
Tom Kha and Pad Thai are fantastic 🙂. I have been a few times. Every time the service is friendly.
Recently had lunch here. Have been here prior and always had good food and service. Parking on the side or back of the building. Not a large restaurant. For lunch, this time we had chicken fried rice and basil fried rice. Both were good but would choose the chicken fried rice. Sticky mango for desert was also good.
The meal I ordered came out lukewarm and by the time I finished it (not very long as it was a very small portion), it was almost cold. The portion was very small. I asked for medium spiciness and it had no spicy taste at all. I tried this place about 4 years ago and as I was eating, I recalled why I had not gone back. Won't make that mistake again.
Excellent fried tofu and calamari, and the pad thai and drunken noodles were delicious as well. Service was excellent, everything arrived in a timely manner as ordered. We were a party of six and it was easy to carry on a conversation as the noise level is well managed, which is a pleasant change from most restaurants.
A great place to take that special someone for a date. Loved the food and the ambiance was perfect. They modified our dishes to meet our preferences.
Delicious food, great service!
We went while we were on vacation and that atmosphere was nice and calm. It is a place to eat with lots of chit chat amongst its patrons. The food is portioned well and is very well balanced in flavor. I would definitely recommend.
Waitress was sweet, everything tasted good. 5 stars.
Food was excellent.
Drinks were not very good.
All around, it was somewhat overpriced for how much food you got.
We got soup, papaya salad, and Pad See Ew. They were all quite good.
I got the Pad See Ew "Hot" and it wasn't that hot.
Mango sticky rice was very good, I definitely recommend it.
Food presented does not agree with description on menu. Fish filled was fish nuggets or strips on a bed of lettuce with hot rice on the side. Salmon with butter garlic sauce was tasteless.
I would have given the place 6 stars if I could have.
Was lovely food, honestly. 10 out of 10
This place is absolutely awesome. The staff is amazing, when you come in you are treated like family
Food was good but very expensive for what you get. Atmosphere is nothing to talk about and most of their business seemed to be take out
Disappointed - we have been to Aticha a few time is past & loved it but food is less tasty now & prices are high. Instead of stir-frying meat & veg in sauce they just steam or grill food & pour a sauce over it just before serving, or have sauce on the side - not nearly enough sauce given to cover vegs & meat, & not strong flavor - sauce tastes watered down & too sweet. All 3 dishes we ordered had same issue (although we did enjoy our soups)
What a wonderful little Thai place. The atmosphere is lovely and feels a bit high end, even though prices are reasonable. We ordered the fried spring rolls and wontons to start. The presentation was beautiful. They obviously put thought into how this would be done. The only start taken off was for the wontons, which barely had and filling. The spring rolls, however were delicious. We ordered three different dishes, I got the drunken noodles and another got the curry. They definitely customize the amount of spice you want, and we were very thankful. It was a lovely experience. I only wish I lived closer, so I could come back and try other dishes.
Lovely little restaurant with an ample menu. Nice, quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Exceptional service. Delicious food. We look forward to returning.
The pineapple shrimp fried rice was delicious!
The ambience was great with friendly staff and delicious beautifully plated food. This was our first Thai food experience and we thoroughly enjoyed everything.
Great healthy menu.
Actually closes at 8. Can’t bother to update their website apparently.
I recently made another one-hour drive, as I have been doing since 2019, to enjoy the incredible offerings at Aticha Thai in Williamsburg. I must say, it was absolutely worth every mile! From start to finish, my dining experience at this establishment has been consistently outstanding.
One dish that has become my absolute favorite at Aticha Thai is the crab fried rice. The delicate blend of flavors, the perfect balance of tender crab meat and fragrant rice, makes it an absolute delight for my taste buds. Every bite feels like a flavor explosion, and I find myself craving it time and time again.
What truly sets Aticha Thai apart from other Thai restaurants is their consistent quality. Throughout my multiple visits, I have never encountered a dish that disappointed me. Each item on their menu showcases the skill and expertise of the talented chefs who craft these mouthwatering creations. From the tangy Pad Thai to the aromatic green curry, Aticha Thai delivers a culinary experience that surpasses any other Thai restaurant I have ever tried.
The attention to detail in the presentation is also commendable. Every dish is beautifully arranged, demonstrating the care and dedication that goes into each preparation. It's evident that the team at Aticha Thai takes pride in their work, and it truly reflects in the exquisite flavors that they serve.
Not only does Aticha Thai excel in their culinary offerings, but their service is also impeccable. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that every customer feels valued and well taken care of. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations or accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Aticha Thai to anyone seeking an exceptional Thai dining experience. Whether you're a local or willing to travel the extra mile, you will not be disappointed. The crab fried rice alone is worth the journey, but every dish I've had at Aticha Thai has been exceptional. It's undoubtedly the best Thai cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Don't miss out on this culinary gem!
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant, it is well decorated, lit romantically, and the wait staff are above and beyond, giving an amaizing experience that compliments the food well. It is always nicely presented and offers some unique playing for the appetizers, though the entrees are a little more down to business. The food also tastes great, their drunken noodles are to die for! That said, it is on the pricier side, especially relative to that area, but if you have spare money, it will be worth your dollar.
First visit…I’d heard some great things about this restaurant. Our server (Jayne) was AMAZING!!! However, the hostess was beyond rude!!!! We walked in and were completely ignored!!! Finally Jayne seated us and was extremely helpful!!!! The food is delicious!!!!
Got fried wontons and chicken pad Thai. The wontons were empty just fried tortillas basically. Totally pointless waste of money
The food was delicious. The staff was nice just wished they would give more food.
The food was okay, the atmosphere aveage. I may give this place a second try.
Had the following... pad thai, red curry, drunken noodle and fried rice.
Disappointed in the drunken noodle and pad thai. Drunken had only sweet onion flavor, less sauce, etc.. pad thai reminded menof noodles with ketchup. Notnthat great. Fried rice was okay bc u cant go wrong with fried rice from a restaurant business, right? Red curry was the only dish i enjoyed. For the curretn dishes and quality/execution, not worth the $20 price per dish. Step up your game Aticha!
We love Thai food and we're super excited to finally give this place a try. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. We were seated immediately and didn't wait very long to place our orders. We started off with the appetizer sampler which sounded amazing but ended up being rather underwhelming.
I love the food here. I have been here a few times because I love Thai food. I tried a couple of different dishes and all have been amazing. The only thing that is disappointing is the amount of chicken/meat they give. I ordered a curry twice before. Both times there was barely any chicken. I really had to sieve through the curry to find any chicken. Then my most recent visit I ordered a fried rice dish with chicken. Tasted absolutely amazing. But again, next to no chicken which is bothersome because it’s not necessarily cheap. I love this place and their food but it’s a shame about the quantity of chicken/meat.
A very pleasant dining experience.
First time dining at Aticha. Very impressed. Food was delicious and service was excellent.
Dinner for 8. Food was really good. Service was great even though they were crowded. My first time there.
Good very tasty service Great
Best Thai food in Williamsburg! The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is very nice inside. We love the drunken noodles, they are a must try. There are plenty of vegetarian options and everything is so flavorful.
Average at best but realistically quite disappointing, bland, overpriced food. Service and ambiance were nice, but it must be to compensate for the meal quality. The Tom Yum was more like fish sauce broth. I found 1 piece of lemongrass and a single pickled slice of ginger. Crispy duck was soggy, thai dumpling appetizer tasted like absolutely nothing, basil dish was also bland. We asked for hot and it was mild, at least the dish wasnt cold. Mango sticky rice was somehow bitter. For the price especially, this is the worst option in the area. It was late and our favorite thai spot was closing. Next time I'll just microwave some leftovers and save myself $100. Should have gone somewhere else. Live and learn.
Delicious food
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Williamsburg, any reviews about portion sizes surprises me. Portions are perfect for human consumption. Anything more is simply unhealthy. I laughed reading those comments. Food is the best Thai I’ve ever got, the service is so friendly and authentic, they have several levels for spice to appease my girlfriend whose a no spice and me who’s a past the hottest level of spice! The owners have a wonderful story so please take time to know who operates the establishment! :) this is by far my favorite splurge restaurant to visit. Any review you read otherwise are people who are impossible to please, take it from me I don’t leave reviews ever! But reading the negatives comments on a favorite restaurant I had to! Don’t miss out on one of the best restaurants in Williamsburg!! Give them a shot yourselves! :)
We love Aticha! This is an authentic Thai restaurant with fresh delicious food. The cooks are very accommodating for food restrictions. Everything is fresh and so flavourful. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, the owners are very kind and wonderful. Highly recommend
I've tried a few other spots local and this is one of my favorite Thai spots
Delicious food!! Family owned with family recipes. Everything fresh and beautiful!
The food was great. HOWEVER, terrible service! Ordered 3 Pad Kee Mao, later were told that they ran out of the wide noodles (what?)! That’s fine too, but the server was not apologetic at all. She was so cold that it made us feel that she couldn’t care less about what happened. Not feeling welcomed, would give a zero star if there were an option.
Had some young adults with phone on speaker and very irritating to hear them. When they weren't there the atmosphere was lovely
The most delicious noodles I've ever had at any restaurant. Can't recommend this spot enough.
The owner/cook will stop by your table, the staff is very polite, and I haven't found a thing on the menu that wasn't amazing.
When I stepped in to the restaurant it appeared to be small and intimate. Its has a modern feel and the music was soothing but at the same time catchy. They have a good sized bar with plenty of bar stools. We sat down and ordered. We decided to share an appetizer and lunch plate. We ordered the chicken skewers. The peanut sauce that came with it was delicious. We had also ordered Thai pad. It was perfect. The service was good. I would recommend this place to anyone who like Thai food.
delicious.
First time, Staff was friendly and the food was great. The rolls tasted different compared to other places like Pho. There are limited beer selections, but just a couple buildings down there is a beer pub. Its been a while since I ate Thai food at a restaurant and so I cant really say if this is better than a local Pho. But what I can say is that there is much more options here, but they come a in small quantity. Also the environment is really nice, partially dim lights and a lot of Thai decor.
Love the wonton soup
Just moved to the area and wanted to try all the Thai spots in Williamsburg and would say this was my least favorite out of all of them… my chicken pad Thai had only 2 small pieces of chicken in it and lacked flavor of a pad Thai. Also got the fresh rolls they were decent but very small for almost $9. Lastly I got the Thai tea and I could not even finish it, it tasted of just half and half.
My husband and I have tried every place in town that serves pad Thai and once we had Aticha we never went anywhere else. We order from there once a month as a treat and are always so happy with our food. I love the service as they are always so prompt no matter how busy. Very professional, friendly and efficient. Best of all you can never order the wrong item from the menu
Thai food here is much better than the other three options in Williamsburg. Just make sure you order correct spice level.
When I spend $50 on take out, tip you $5 on top for simply taking my order and making it, simply ask for soy sauce (had to check my bag and remind them of the request), don’t give me a hard time and tell me it is already salted…… last thing I want to do it get back to my hotel room and wish I had some additional soy sauce. Just give it to me without any BS. Aside from that, food is usually good. Portions are on the small side. As an alternative Lanna and Bangkok down the street are just as good or better, and if you don’t want to put up with them telling you what you should like…..
Great lunch! Good service is hard to find these days, so it was a treat to have it.
Every dish ordered was only so so. Nothing was spectacular, and everything seemed like a chore to get down. I’m completely perplexed by all the other positive ratings, this food is far from authentic tasting. The drunken noodles were dry, and the thai basil fried rice and the pineapple fried rice were both instant rice with minimal flavor. Not impressed at all and would not go back.
The person at the front desk was super helpful and sweet and wasted no time in helping us place our order.
Delicious food!! Great service
Food was pretty tasty. Garlic beef is also awesome. I would give them 5 stars, but portions are a bit small for the price. Not a show stopper at all, still decent and would recommend. Best tasting Thai in Williamsburg
Very good and authentic Thai restaurant, I was amaze by the mango sticky rice, it is very nice as a dessert. And one of the best thing in the restaurant was the server, Bryan. He did an amazing job, telling me his story here as an exchange student, and he make sure my cup of drink is filled all the time and make sure the food taste good. Will definitely come back again when I have time.
Pros: Clean restaurant, cloth tablecloth and napkins, friendly and attentive waitstaff, good iced tea and hot tea. Quick service.
Cons: portion for dinner was equal to a lunch portion. Flavor was basic. Other Thai restaurants I've visited had more flavor in their basic dishes than what I ordered. I had the basil fried rice. The description looked more interesting than what it was. My parents each ordered pad thai and said their noodles were undercooked.
The place is cozy and peaceful. Very good and attentive staff. Appetizers were amazing, with fried dumplings being the star. They were amazing. Pad Thai was seasoned very well and like it has tamarind paste. Pad sew ew noodles tasted homemade. Tom kha was delicious and had shrimp paste in it. Drop by if you like Thai food
The food was fine
Our first time here. We arrived at our reservation time to celebrate a family birthday. We were seated quickly, service was outstanding, and the food was great.
I ordered the red curry with chicken, "Thai hot" (you can tell them how spicy you want, from none, all the way to "very hot", one level above what I ordered) and it was delicious. The rice is served in a separate plate, in my photo I've already mixed it into the curry.
Recommended!
Delicious Thai food! Highly recommend the Drunken Noodles. Definitely will be coming back.
Love this place. Thai food is any level spicy you want. They have amazing choices and their spring rolls are so fresh, it’s hard not to want to bite in to it when it’s pipping hot.
Ordered Thai fried rice and Red Curry. Both were very good. Definitely worth visiting
This is rapidly becoming one of my go-to restaurants in Williamsburg. The Chicken Pad Thai is highly recommended. Heat is available in 5 gradients from "American" to "Thai." Service is professional and efficient. In a recent thunderstorm, one of the staff walked me up to the car with an umbrella.
Aticha is wheelchair accessible. I've been enjoying going there.
Delicious food, great service and lovely athmosphere. It is nice bright clean and inviting. The best Thai noodle soup I have had in years.
First timer . Went here when visiting Williamsburg . Our family was waiting for some good Thai food . We love Thai cuisines and saw a 4+ ⭐️ review in google but I didn’t feel it was super special . Food was average but some items were good .
First of all, the service was actually pretty good . They weee closing at 10 pm and we went about 9, but they didn’t hurry us out . Lots of space to sit inside and liked the ambience. To start with we had Thai tea and it was very very average. Not much creamy and it was t sweet. The starters were good - spring rolls and tofu one. Chicken satay was average .
For main dish - we did drunken noodle and it was awesomeeeee. Thai red curry too was superb . Thai rice was ok . Once again the chicken cilantro item was very average . No spice at all, and we wanted 🌶 🌶 🌶.. overall it was an average experience . Chicken dishes were a little expensive for the quantity . Thumbs up overall :)
Always good and fairly priced. Service is good too
Called in for a lunch order this past Tuesday afternoon and the woman that took my order was rude & unclear. The man at the front desk was the warmest either. The menu is also very vague and the food was just okay. Very disappointing because every other interaction I had in Williamsburg was very pleasant and so was the food but this place put a bad taste in my mouth literally and figuratively.
Thai for people who hate spice, texture, and flavor and don't know what Thai is supposed to taste like. The drunken noodles were so flavorless and gummy that I literally fed them to my toddler.
They don't offer brown rice as an option, which is really unfortunate, and I'm 90% sure that the basil wasn't even the Thai variety.
Great service, there was a 30 min wait and it was worth it! The staff was friendly and welcoming from the time we walked in, our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu items and she was professional and very attentive. The prices are reasonable and the food was amazing from our appetizers to our entrees! We will definitely return to this restaurant :)
💞Chicken Peanut Sauce: Stir- fried chicken with Thai curry peanut sauce (spice level 2). Served with a side of rice.
I look forward to trying everything on Aticha'a menu.
Made Anniversary reservations at Aticha to celebrate our 10 years of marriage. Tua and Kate went above and beyond our expectations by providing us the best seats in the house. When we arrived, Tua met us with a nice bottom of Champagne to toast kicking off our evening together. For appetizers we had fried calamari and steamed dumplings. The Calamari had an excellent batter that enhanced the flavor of the squid, and the dumplings were flavorful and worth getting again. We also had Tom Kha Soup that warmed our gizzards before the main course. Absolutely Scrummy! (that's English for Yummy!) For the main course we had chicken Pad Thai and Fried Soft-Shell Crab. The softshell was delicious and best that I have had in a long time. Pad Thai noodles are classic and best in town. I honestly can say everything was perfect. Dinner and company were great and Aticha staff made us feel like real VIP’s. Forgot to add the Mango flower rice pudding with incredible. Just thinking about it makes me salivate! Highly recommend making a visit to Aticha soon. You will not be disappointed!
The food was excellent and served hot and reasonably priced. The spring rolls were beautifully presented.
Comfortable and clean, elegant atmosphere.
Arrived a little later than we wanted and then the entrance was a little tricky to find because our GPS routed us behind the place (stay on Richmond Road until you see the front door and then turn in). We let our server know we were running late and our apps were on the table within minutes. Entrées landed on the table as soon as the spectacular satay was finished.
The food was top-notch Thai with generous portions. Atmosphere was decidedly Americanized, but it was comfortable and the prices were exactly what I expected. With at least two other Thai places nearby, it's easy to see why this one is still around. Will visit again on my next trip to Williamsburg.
Food was ok. Was expecting better for the price. Portions were big.
I can not rave enough about how delicious this place is!!! The food was so tasty & the staff was very friendly. My compliments to the chef! I am so impressed with this place and will absolutely be back, SOON!
Delicious Thai food and lovely ambiance. My husband and I came here for dinner during our anniversary trip and this is really good Thai food. We enjoyed the appetizer - 4 dumplings in thai curry (in a small dish), and my husband was on cloud 9 with the dessert - Thai pumpkin custard with sticky rice. He said it was the best he ever tasted (and he always tries sticky rice in every Thai restaurant we've ever visited). My favourite is the sweet tea drink (it tasted like good quality southern sweet tea), the panang curry and basil fried rice. We could choose our spice levels, which was very nice. It was a bit pricy but we did enjoy the experience of semi-fine dining. The staff was very friendly and helpful too. Will definitely return again!
Went in for dinner with my husband and youngest son. We ordered 2 pad thais and one fried rice. We also got some spring rolls. Everything was delicious. Our server was very good. But it was just normal Thai food. Nothing special. It was WAY overpriced. We probably won't be back again because of the high price. There are other Thai restaurants in town that are very good and not as expensive. If you have the extra money, give it a try.
We were with a group of six for lunch. There were three issues that should not have happened. 1) The six orders were brought one by one with a difference of at least 30 minutes between the first and the last dish So the last person started as the first two were finished eating. 2) I ordered a 4 peppers hotness for my Pad-thai noodles i.e.one short of Thai hot, but it was not hot at all, perhaps a 1 or 2 peppers. However, an other guest who had also ordered Pad-thai stipulating 2 peppers hotness was given a 5? peppers hotness, much too hot. We could not exchange the plates for two reasons. My plate was the first to arrive and hers was the very last. I had finished by the time hers arrived. My friend's plate seemed freshly cooked with peanut crumble and shrimp chips extra, perhaps due to the long wait, but mine was a warmed up amount of noodles left over from the former day's dinner time, because the noodles were broken up in small bites and not fresh looking at all; no extras whatsoever with it, hence the quick serve of mine. It also was much less (about 50%) of the freshly made noodle dish of my friend. 3) the waitress wore a mask which we all of us six 70+ seniors appreciated. We are all 3 times vaccinated, so feel safe with each other, but half way through our meal tables close to us less than 3 feet away, on the right and the left, families of respectively 4 and 8 persons who wore no masks, were placed in too close proximity. We thought it was negligent of service personnel because there were plenty of empty tables further away. Why place those young family people without masks right next to us? That was ill-considerate. We will not be back nor recommend Lana Thai. There two other good Thai restaurants nearby.
They don't have enough staff to attend to the dining room. Waited for a table for over 20 minutes when there were 3 empty and two more opened up. No one was really taking care of the guests in store. They ignored us completely, not even water was brought. They took care of the guests that were seated after us and we sat there for 20 more minutes without even a nod to bring us water or to take our order. Not family friendly as the waiter chose to ignore us on purpose. There are other Thai restaurants nearby, which are better.
Won't be coming back.
Met family here for lunch. Fresh, delicious offerings. Everything we ordered was so tasty. You can get it as spicy as you want. Highly recommend!
My family and I just left and the food was good, and the server, Kristine, was awesome. She was just happy and joyous. My sister just had some dental work done prior to going to Aticha and Kristine was nice enough to recommend that my sister get soup/broth. We visit Williamsburg several times a year and will definitely be back.
This restaurant was highly overpriced with small portions and bad customer service. The menu stated gratuity would be added for parties of 6 or more but they added gratuity to our party of 5. The server then insulted us when we asked about it. Mediocre Thai food that we would not recommend.
Highly recommend!! Drunken noodle, pineapple fried rice and shrimp wontons were amazing!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants to visit when in Williamsburg!
The food was delicious and we had enough for leftovers. We will definitely be back. I had the Singapore and the sesame seed chicken, very tasty.
Nice ambience and good food.
Ordered the vegetable dish and wanted extra veggies instead of meat. They gave me 4 pieces of broccoli, it was a ridiculously tiny portion. I would have taken a picture of it to prove my point but you would have to zoom in so far to see it. I also ordered the Tom Young Gai soup and it smelled like literal trash can juice, couldn’t eat it, tried it and it was boring flavor. Tom young soup is a common dish I order and I always love it. I don’t recommend these dishes, and they should be more aware of how big a portion of veggies should be as a main entree, I’m still starving.
Good food tasty...
The service was fantastic and the food was delicious
