Unassuming strip-mall find for curries, noodles & other classic Thai eats, plus many veggie options.
Easy to find the place and abundant parking available in the area.
7-9 tables in total. It is good to have reservation, if not they will be accommodate walk-ins. But wait times isn’t that long.
Ambiance is okay, table height is decent and atmosphere is very calm.
Staff and service is quick and excellent. Feels like a family owned business which shows in a good way. Language is not a barrier.
Food is great, I have tasted some of the best curries and duck dishes here and attention to details is good. Dishes are well presented. Ginger rice dishes are amazing.
Drunken noodles has good taste. I liked it spicy version during lunch a lot so I visited the place again for dinner but felt a sweet tasting drunken noodles. Would prefer more consistency of items to be repeated customer
I especially liked their appetizers more - Crispy butterfly shrimp, Golden triangles and Kanom Jeeb.
Will definitely return for more.
The food is amazing. Crispy wonton appetizer is light and crispy. The sauce is perfect with it.
Dinner, I fort the name but ask for the crispy kale and chicken, it is simply amazing.
Also you will not be disappointed with the yellow curry shrimp (not pictured).
It's a small quaint location. Great service.
Warning !!! On Sunday afternoon 02/16//25 my friend ordered some takeout of Chicken and shrimp combo pad thai. The food made us both sick. Symptoms of FOOD POISONING. I was basically in a fetal position from bad stomach cramps the whole night. Felt like my stomach was in my back. My friend then came to ask how’d I sleep? I said I didn’t then explained what was going on and that is when I found out the food made us both sick!! My friend was waken out of sleep coughing belched up some food and then vomited🤮I would advise not to buy at this place. If I could give a half a star I would, but since I can’t Im rating it at 1! I normally don’t eat Thai food. I’m only giving one it taste OK but the food was not OK. Never Again!
3.5 Stars
Half & Half Story. TAKE OUT ONLY as of 3-14-2021
First Service was extremely good. The attendant/server was very attentive and kept a smile during the whole ordering process.
LOCATION:
It's a bit on the small side. Lots of parking.
Now here's the half & half the food.
Food:
It's not consistent. Example: I really loved the rice. But a couple of times, I found pockets of uncooked rice. At moments the rice was hard and similar to chalky.
The Thai tea was extremely sweet (diabetic heaven) and too strong of "some flavor." I can't put my palate on it, but something seems to have been cooked too long.
My chicken dish was pretty good. A bit on the sweet side.
All in all, if they tone down the sweetness and a bit more consistent with food prep, definitely a 4 star.
I really enjoyed our server. She was amazing.

Been coming here for years - best Thai food!! Sometimes there’s a wait but trust me it’s always worth it. They have a lot of dishes - branch out from Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles and try something else! You can’t go wrong. But of course those are excellent as well. Love the staff. Hardworking and caring.
the food is so good, if you like spice you’ll love it, and even if you don’t, you can get it without it and it’s still so flavorful and delicious. i love the beef with garlic sauce. i haven’t eaten there in person in a bit, but i remember the restaurant being really clean and well taken care of whenever i came in to pick up. the staff are also very helpful and friendly.

The quality of the food is ALWAYS superb! The service is friendly and expert.
My go to for drunken noodle and pad thai. The staff is always friendly.

Small, 18 table restaurant with surprisingly good Thai dishes. Natta makes both traditional and nouveau cuisines with consistency. Menu is limited (<30 items), but it makes their dishes both consistent and with generous portions. Prices are very manigable. Highly recommend!
This is my favorite Thai restaurant! The food is consistently delicious and flavorful. The staff are very nice and will make suggestions if you ask. It is a small store so it's not good for a large group... and I kinda like it that way! Perfect spot for lunch with a friend or colleague. Try everything!
Best Thai in the area by a lot!
One of the worst Thai restaurants food we have had in the area. Not only were the portions small for the green curry, the chicken drunken noodles had barely any chicken (minced), 1 piece of basil and 2 peppers total. It was very bland and felt like they just dumped soy sauce on it. The green curry had such small portions and was very watery and also flavorless. Far better restaurants in the area, do not recommend.
You can't go wrong with any dish here, but I'm partial to the pad thai. The sweetest owner you'll ever meet. I always feel welcome here.
Great restaurant. I met my good friends here for lunch & we had a wonderful time. The Crispy Kale Salad was divine!!
Wonderful, we will be back!
Excellent portions, delicious food!! 😋
I really don't know why this place has 4.5 stars.
I wasn't even greeted when I came in. I was just thrown a menu at me while everybody else was catered to nicely. There borderline racist if your not white. The lady had so much attitude when I asked her for hot sauce. And I was going to leave her a cash tip until she said "wow no tip"? Food is subpar definitely the most expensive thai food in the area will never be coming back here.
P.S. I forgot to say I waited 47 minutes for rice and drunken noodles....

Very small Thai restaurant near Vienna. Best to get a reservation due to limited spacing. Server was very polite and knowledgeable; food and drinks took a bit to come out, but it was worth it because of how delicious it was. Absolutely authentic and freshly cooked. Prices also very reasonable. $130 for three people dining with appetizers, food, and drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Servings smaller than usual and less savory. It was good, not great. Atmosphere pleasant, we were taken care of appropriately
This is a review change (from 2018 to 2023). Still great food, but now terrible dine-in service. Who prioritizes takeout orders to the point that one dine-in guest is finished before the other guest gets his food ...? INSANE. After being regulars for 5+ years, this is our LAST time.
Food was sub par, not much flavor and no spice levels. Didn’t ask for any spice levels when I ordered. Service was nice
Good food, fast service!
My first time here, I came with my wife and definitely the food and service it’s outstanding, so delicious food. We had a Pad Thai with shrimps and Pineapple fried and love it, will be back
I got the yellow curry, super tasty! Even good as leftovers, yum!
The food at Natta Thai is wonderful. The red curry is the best I have had. Not the most formal or fussy, Natta Thai seems like the best home cooked Thai. Friendly, fine menu, great service and great for takeout. Highly recommended
I had a fantastic dining experience at Natta Thai! The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that delighted my taste buds. Not only was the cuisine outstanding, but the service was also top-notch - fast and friendly. I can't recommend this restaurant enough for anyone seeking a delicious Thai meal served with a smile. I'll definitely be returning for more culinary delights!
Been cited by Health Department many times, now I see why
I had the panang chicken 🐔 yum so delicious. Very good food at a good value.
LONG POST AHEAD: I am seriously disappointed with this place. My mother use to order from here regularly, but NO MORE! They are rude and customer service is non-existent! I picked up a carry-out order for her a couple of months ago and asked for some extra pot stickers sauce. The woman in the front went back to the kitchen and returned informing me that they would charge extra. I told her no thank you especially since we were spending over $50 on our order alone! I was so tempted to tell them to forget the whole order, but it's Mom's favorite place, so you know how that goes. I told Mom to stop patronizing them, but she didn't listen. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, my Mother and her cousin ordered carry out. Her cousin was dissatisfied with her food and decided to take it back. Needless to say, the establishment was not happy. My mother called last week to place an order and they recognized the name and telephone number and informed her she was banned from their place because she complained about their food. EXCUSE ME?!! Do they expect for people to spend their hard earned money and accept their lack of customer service as well as whatever slop they give them?! If you want to feel valued as a customer and get what you pay for (their prices are not cheap) then go elsewhere!
This used to be my weekly go-to Thai restaurant. We went back recently and the experience was disappointing. The veggitables used in their popular dish Drunken Noodles vanished - from tomatos, thin sliced onions with basil leaves to nothing but basil leaves. Did the chef decide randomness is the key to run a restaurant?
Been coming here for years - best Thai food!! Sometimes there’s a wait but trust me it’s always worth it. They have a lot of dishes - branch out from Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles and try something else! You can’t go wrong. But of course those are excellent as well. Love the staff. Hardworking and caring.
Asked for extra spicy but it was more like a desert. Too sweet for my taste. There are other places with better taste at cheaper price.
Nice little place tucked into a strip mall. They opened at 5pm on a Saturday evening. We sat right down. Lots to choose from on the menu. The chicken satay and the Kanom Jeeb were excellent. The Pad Thai was pretty good. Panang Chicken was good but very mild. Reasonable prices. Good service. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend.
This restaurant used to be a decent place in Vienna, but at some point, the male waiter who seems to be the owner became incredibly arrogant and started chatting way too much with his regular customers. Frankly, I wish he had just focused on serving the food. To make matters worse, when he brought out my order, he got it completely wrong and even denied that I had ever placed such an order. I had specifically asked for extra tofu in my vegetable pad thai and confirmed the extra charge, but he brought me the wrong dish and insisted that I had never made that request. It was incredibly frustrating. He also went to another table and chatted away, completely ignoring me until I was finished with my meal. The restaurant has become quite rundown and dirty compared to before the pandemic, and the quality of the food has significantly declined. I definitely won't be coming back here again.
Nice strip mall find. Don't let the outside look fool you. Great food.
Disappointed …
Bad food. Ginger chicken had no flavor no ginger watery and very sweet. I asked for additional garlic she said they do not have fresh garlic. Wonton soup was very salty made of concentrated powder mix.
This restaurant was good in the past. Disappointed I Will not go back to this restaurant.
One of the best Thai restaurants in the Northern Virginia suburbs. Nice selection and easy online ordering for take-out. We get take-out there frequently and the food is always excellent with comparatively good prices.
Best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. Amazing service and food.
Food was just ok
This is one of my most favorite restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is tight and quaint. The service is terrific. Most importantly the food is excellent. The Natta Fried Rice with seafood is amazing. Ask the server for the hot plate for additional spices to add to the already spicy dish.
I took a good friend here for lunch today. He's a foodie. He enjoyed this place so much he picked up the bill to say thanks for sharing the gem with him.
Robert was so friendly, personable, & gracious. He feels like family. Food was delicious & well flavored. First time here. Will def be back! Thanks Robert!
Take out is excellent! Portions are good, taste is also great! Justifies the price and I also got my food pretty quick. They followed all our instructions as well. Heads up on the spice level though, even medium spice can be a bit spicy.
좋아요. 맛있는 팟타이, 적당한 가격, 괜찮은 분위기
Ordered from here twice for pickup. Both times taken almost 45 minutes longer than they said to get our order ready. I am so frustrated when I finally leave I no longer care what the food tastes like.
Don’t know what happened. The pad Thai was as sweet as a candy bar. Won’t be back here for pad Thai ever. Just reminding myself via this review to not come back.
I drive over 40 minutes to get here and pass multiple other Thai restaurants on the way. This is truly the best. Exceptional food, low key charming atmosphere with noodles that are delicious. Try the chicken satay, potstickers, and drunken noodles (if you like spice).
Love this restaurant! Their dumplings are delicious! I usually don’t like shrimp but their chicken & shrimp dumplings with the sweet sauce is amazing! Everything else I have tried was also delicious. The wonton soup & drunkin noodles are another favorite of mine. Staff is always super friendly too and considerate of your time. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. It’s my mom and I‘s new favorite Thai restaurant!
Wonderful Thai flavors in the dishes we tried. Attentive staff.
Best thai place in Vienna VA
This place always has amazing food and great hospitality!
Had to wait for pickup (1 hour and 15 mins after order was placed), the Pad Thai had tasteless boiled shrimp, the Penang curry was too sweet (for a medium spicy choice). The online pickup order requires you to add the tip before you experience the service. And then having to arrive and wait long to pickup the order! Was not a good experience at all.
Some of the best drunken noodles!
Questionable ethics. I am careful not to ding small businesses for small issues. As I write this, I am very disheartened and unhappy because I am a loyal customer and Thai food lover who found out that he has been misled for almost 2 years.
We used to order for take out regularly during the pandemic and we used to ask for "no fish sauce and no oyster sauce". We were told that the order was made special without these ingredients. However, today I found out that they cannot remove these ingredients; its part of their sauces and even vegetarian dishes carry these ingredients. If they can lie about 2 ingredients; what else are they lying about?
Great service. Great food. I had Panang Curry.
Delicious! We drive all the way from Arlington for Natta Thai. It’s absolutely amazing. The chicken satay is the best I’ve had. The seared pot stickers are amazing. For entrees the red curry and drunken noodles are stellar. Would recommend to anyone! Can’t say enough positive things.
Really good authentic Thai food and the curry is really good. Plenty of options on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and they remember you of you come in more than once. It is a bit busy sometimes and there is many people getting takeout so plan accordingly. The portions are very good. Give it a try.
Best Thi food in Northern Virginia.
So delish! Their Kanon jeep and Khatami are FANTASTIC! Cannot stop eating it, as it tingles the taste buds...very sweet and spicy ❤
Ordered a plate of chicken fried rice to go. Dish turned out to be a bit bland and the rice over cooked. The total cost was about $15.00.
Boss treated me for lunch here. Drunken Noodles were awesomeeee 👍👍
Excellent food selections..family friendly environment

This is my absolute favorite Thai place in the Vienna/McLean/Tysons area. I moved to the area last summer and was nervous that it would take me a while to find a good go-to Thai place for takeout. I’ve tried many and I always found myself coming back to this one. They are quick, SO kind and the food is top notch, a step above the basic run of the mill Thai, and servings are generous!
The food is really good. I ordered the chicken cashew. It was a bit oily but other than that. Yum! And Sue at the front desk was really nice and polite 😊 Enjoy!!
Absolutely love their food, we are so glad we have found our Thai go-to place! We ordered Pineapple fried rice, red curry and drunken noodles- we loved all of it! They followed all our instructions. Delicious food, quick service. Portions are also good. Place might not look very pleasing from outside but their food is delicious! Will definitely order again!
Great food; great service!!!
This is a Thai gem! I lived in Thailand off and on for years and their food is on par with some of the best in Thailand. The drunken noodles are fantastic and the portion is very generous.
I prefer pork wonton but I decided to try theirs which I believe are chicken and shrimp. They were excellent. Nice light and crispy. I also love the tamarind shrimp appetizer. The tom yum going is stellar
I cant say enough. The staff are super nice and helpful and accommodating. The prices are quite reasonable for the excellent quality and authenticity of the food.
It's decent but we mainly get takeout there for the location. No dine in during pandemic.
Thai cuisine to die for!
Unprofessional stuff 🙄🥱
Exceptionally tasty.
Awesome Thai food
If you want to eat really really good thai food then this place is for you. Generally we do dine in but because of Corona we always do take out. Fast service. Restaurant owner knows everyone personally. Thai chicken chili and basil and buddha fried rice one of my favorite dishes.
A long favorite of my family's, we ordered pickup, covid-19 social distancing style. It was our first visit in several years, and we were delighted. It was a sunny day, and we ate by the caboose in the nearby Vienna Town Green Park.
We've enjoyed our Natta Thai take out each time!
Natta Thai has excellent food, but we have experienced significant delays recently in our orders being ready in a relatively reasonable time frame. We understand if they are busy, but we just want a realistic estimate.
The restaurant had nice and easy parking. I ordered pad thai and curry from there. The food was great especially you can tell that they weren't being cheap with their ingredients and sauces were flavorful. The textures and taste was definitely by someone who knows how to cook Thai food well and not by some people that learned to get by cooking the Thai food. I really recommend it. If you want somewhere that you can pick somethj g and go then this is definitely the place during covid 19 as they make it easy =)
Very delicious food. Im impressed by their curry. Highly recommend
We did a takeout from them for a second time. Food is great, ordering is easy and contcless pickup a breeze. Everything was still hot when we got home. Portions are more than plentiful and there were even leftovers for another day. Crispy duck with chilli garlic sauce is highly recommended. As are their drunken noodles.
I’m truly in shock I ordered a Green Curry from this place and I couldn’t believe the size of the meal for the price I PAID😡 I paid 12$ and the food amount is more like an appetizer. Truly disappointed 😞
Flavors never disappoint!
Nice place for a nice lunch.
Great place for Thai food in Vienna. Very small place, but food is great. I rarely give 5 star rating, but this place deserves it. Great service and very friendly staff.
I love this place but they can be slow. Still my go-to Thai place in Vienna
The best restaurant in Northern Virginia. Not kidding.
It is a small, neat and good Thai restaurant. They serve one of the best Thai food that I have tasted in nearby area. There were two waiters who were efficiently managing orders, serving and billing. They were courteous enough to ask if we want ice in our water(which very few people bother about, in US). Food was really tasty. We had Spicy garden vegetable, Drunken tofu noodles, drunken chicken noodles, crispy tofu, crispy tilapia, Thai ice tea. Spice level was as per our choice. Make sure that you read the star symbols marked on menu(as they depict spice levels).
Excellent food, great wait staff and very hospitable and gracious owner.
Best Thai food in NOVA and I have tried many!
Nice staff, a lot of variety in the menu, very pleased with the quality of the cuisine
I had rated this as the best Thai in the area but today they showed that the reviews have gone to their head. Unbelievable that it is happening here. The restaurant refused to give a table saying it was reserved but gave it to another couple right after we placed a take away order. The server even told them to say that they had made an earlier reservation. 😡
Maybe the server didn’t like our faces😤 or she was racist.
Be careful when you go next time. I am never going back!
This place makes solid, flavorful, traditional Thai food. I've never had a bad meal here and the staff, which is all family from what I can tell, are very friendly. It's not a huge place but, they do a ton of take out. I must have counted more than 20 take out orders and I was only there a little over and hour. Also, I don't live near this place. I make the trip. Elephant Jumps is right by me, however, I will never eat there again in my life. (gave them 4 chances) You can read my review on that if you want to hear about REALLY bad Thai food.
Their drunken noodles are the best in town.
Stopped in on a random Wednesday to wait out traffic. The green curry is WOW, and I can respect the thai hot level of spice. Cute boutique tiny restaurant features amazingly rich thai classics, neat painted tables and a friendly core staff. I'll make like Terminator...
Service was excellent, and the food was superb!!! Would highly recommended anyone who loves Thai food to go there..
Food was really good and service was fast!
Great food and service!
Good American version of Thai food. The tilapia, shrimp pad Thai and yellow curry dishes are all good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nice Thai food.
Good
Food is good, but the first time I ordered the drunken noodles it came with sliced chicken. The 2nd time it was ground chicken. They need to at least ask you which you prefer, because the ground chicken is a cheaper way to give the appearance of more meat. I had to pay $2 extra for the exact same meal because of the inconsistency.
Small, cozy thai place with one of the best thai food in the area. Portions are medium sized. A must visit for good thai food if you are in the area.
This place is so fantastic that I'm writing this review and I haven't even left the restaurant! My friend and I were hoping to try a new Thai place this evening, and after asking around on Facebook, this place came highly recommended and met every expection that I had. Clean and relaxed atmosphere, energetic and helpful service and flavorful and mouth watering food.
A good small and cozy Thai place. I went for lunch with a colleague and liked their veg green curry and drunken noodles with tofu. They have decent vegetarian options.
Lovely, unassuming, small Thai restaurant with good service and food. I particularly enjoyed the yellow curry.
Fantastic Thai food, been going to this restaurant for 19 years! Take out is excellent and dining (lunch/dinner) is supurb! Usually busy Friday and Saturday nights, and they do take reservations as well for small/medium sized groups. If you want to customize a dish, no problem! Staff is so friendly and this family owned business has been a staple in this area since 2004
Had crispy basil shrimp, super yummy.
Everything is always wonderful. It’s small but fast and delicious.
Service was great and the food was some of the tastiest Thai food I've had in the area. The only complaint is that food wasn't spicy enough.
Good place for dinner. Surprisingly busy around 6pm on a Monday night. Very small restaurant.. only about 8-10 tables at most seating anywhere between 2-4 people per table. Food was good- ordered shrimp pad Thai. Tasty. Not dry. Not overly fishy or anything like that. I would definite order that again. Restaurant is also cute and quaint. Giving it 4 stars only because service was a little on the slow side.
The best place in Vienna for good food!
Most excellent.
Everytime we come here for takeout, they forget parts of our order and we have to go back to get the rest. Portions have gotten smaller. If you like it hot great, otherwise have them dial back the drunken noodle or whatever you get.
Very good
Excellent Thai food, excellent service. Just excellent.
Good!!!
Excellent food!
Green curry was delicious!
