Tip Thai is truly a local gem! It’s family owned and the food always comes out so delicious and fresh! I’m absolutely convinced they have the best chicken wings in Richmond. The drunken noodles and curries are also amazing - you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

So it was Admin professionals day this week and i was gifted a door dash gift card. Perfect! I thought...I could order my faves...well idk what happened here but my food is er...over cooked. And the staff used to be way friendlier. Makes me so bummed out. (And I always tip them, don't I feel silly now!)

Decided to order on a whim because they're close to where I work, and I was not disappointed! I got the Massaman Cury, and it is absolutely delicious. I will absolutely be coming back, and will be telling my coworkers and friends about this place!

Great place! From the first steps felt very neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered Drunken noodles with pork very tasty. Also had Sathay Chicken very tender and delicious. Overall the food was prepared with decent attention to details. Definitely will come back again!

I've savored two delightful dining experiences here: dining in and takeout. Both were top notch! The service here was impeccable, too.

The Tip appetizer sampler was beautifully arranged and equally as tasty. We enjoyed the accompanying dipping sauces too. All of the apps were good but the chicken satay skewers were perfectly marinated and cooked, making it my favorite. I also loved the cream cheese rangoons.

I cannot get enough of their Tom Yum Goong soup (shrimp and mushrooms). It's bright and full of lemongrass and lime flavors; definitely on the acidic/sour side which I love! I even took some to go after dining in! 😄 It was just as tasty for lunch the next day.

For dessert, we shared their house made coconut ice cream w jackfruit and mango sauce. It was light, bright, and refreshing like all of their dishes!

We had the chicken satay, crispy spring rolls, shrimp pad Thai, chicken fried rice, tofu green curry, and mango sticky rice (pictured here - the star of the meal - do not leave without it!). Everything was delicious. The best Thai food I have had in Richmond. Service was friendly, quick, and attentive.

It shocked me to see that over my experience going to 1000s of restaurant it was estremely pathetic for the owner to beg for tips and when I asked tips for what she was like service like what she expect to come to her restaurant make my way to kitchen and Cook for myself and serve myself and pay her for food. Listen lady i want to tip is my choice if i like your service not just cause you serve me food.

I ordered it through Grubhub because there was a 4.7 review. The worst Drunken noodles I’ve ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of drunken noodles! Zero flavor the vegetables are undercooked the noodles are overcooked, and the shrimp doesn’t look like they were cooked at all. Threw it in the garbage it’s just trash.

Best Thai food in Richmond, my wife and I have enjoyed their food since they opened and brought my whole family here many times no complaints absolutely delicious I recommend tip tie to anyone, no one can to the delicious food and wonderful staff.

Girlfriend and I come here for lunch quite often. Food and service is always excellent and reasonably priced.

It was ok, they close at 2:30 and open later for dinner. I had the curry chicken, supposed to be 3 star extra spicy but it was not nearly as hot as I was expecting. I don't do much Thai but I'm glad it's an option if I ever want to try them again. $18 after 12% tip.

The Pad Thai was mostly rice noodles (90% of the dish) and tasted strongly of vinegar, very little chicken and few vegetables. Neither my friend nor I were able to finish it due to the unpleasant taste. For the price we wanted it to be vibrantly flavored, with more vegetables and chicken. We were hungry shortly after and had to eat elsewhere. Maybe the other dishes are good, but we won't eat here again 😔

Got the Pad See Ew and Pineapple Fried Rice. The portions were generous. The food was flavorful and tasty. I asked for medium spicy and it was enough for me. Will be back next time.

I’ve been searching for a solid Thai place since moving to Richmond and finally found it!!!!! Had the satay, dumplings, pad thai and mango sticky rice and it was all authentic and DELICIOUS! I am so happy I found this place I’ll be back very soon!!!!

Absolutely amazing little out-of-the-way Thai restaurant. The single woman (the ONLY ONE!) that works here is absolute GEM. She was so kind and efficient in bringing us our food. Everything is grown by her or locally sourced, and it is clearly reflected in the food.

My date and I ordered the crab/chicken dumpling appetizer, expecting to wait no less than 20 minutes. She had it out in less than 10, plated BEAUTIFULLY, and steaming hot. I wish we had taken photos. I changed my mind about the carrot garnish and devoured it because of the sauce. I've hated carrots since I was a kid.

The Drunken Noodles are amazing as well. Spiced perfectly, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked noodles. Absolutely lives up to the name.

The Tip Fried Rice is also absolutely a main dish - the serving size was *bountiful* and spared no small bit of shrimp. My date absolutely raved about it while we ate.

What amazes me is that we were the only ones there during dinner rush hours! There's plenty of seating, and an absolutely gorgeous atmosphere. Perfect date night spot - we're DEFINITELY returning.

Mediocre at best. Asked for medium spicy and didnt see a single red pepper flake. Barely any chicken in my weirdly sweet drunken noodles. Orange chicken tasted almost smokey. Overall just bland and boring food that's overpriced.

Spot on traditional thai food. Definitely finds it's place in the rotation of great thai in the area. Don't be afraid to go a little spicy. Can't wait to go back and try the duck.

I’ve heard really good things about this restaurant from friends so I was excited to finally eat here. I ordered the drunken noodles and they were not good. I was super excited because I could smell them through the bag but when I tasted it they were bland and the noodles had a weird almost sour after taste. The portion size was good and the chicken in the dish didn’t taste weird, just the noodles, but this definitely did not hit the spot for me.

I am not sure why this little place wasn't packed. Food was terrific. If back in Richmond I'll definitely try again.

Wish I can give 0 stars! The worst food ever!. Ordered spring rolls, received cabbage and carrots rolled in ummm....who knows...also ordered mei fun and it was spaghetti noodles with who knows in the mix! Will never order from them again! Stay away!

I am so glad they opened their dine in back! Hands down my favorite Thai place in and around Richmond. The food was perfectly cooked, the server is very friendly. The lunch is served with a soup or a salad. Their Thai Tea is really yumm too!! 5/5 for this one. Been to a lot of Thai places - Chedar, Thai Diner, Ratee thai etc. but nothing can be compared to the food you get here!

Ordered fried rice and beef salad. They are so cheap with the meat. Like, just give one more ounce. Sheesh.

Today was my first time visiting. My hubby and I ordered the Shrimp Cracker and Ginger Perfect. OMG delicious everything was. Freshly made and accurate ready time. Customer service was amazing. I enjoyed every bite. I look forward to visiting again.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. ordered a pad thai and they gave us the wrong take out order (not sure if it was someone else's food or they did not understand what we ordered) but then they refused to fix it/refund. Will not be using this thai restaurant again. There are better places with better customer service that get orders right.

Our favorite Thai food in the Richmond area! My husband and I love the food here and with such an extensive menu, there's a lot to try! We ordered food from Tip Thai on Valentine's day and they even gave us a delicious complimentary dessert! Highly recommend this place!

Delicious food. I just moved to the neighborhood and I am so happy to have authentic Thai close by. I got Pad Kapow. They game me delicious banana with honey dessert for free with order. I will be going back.

Fast and friendly service with good food at a great price. The lunch special is the way to go, and while I thought their version of hot was REALLY hot, they don't make everything hot; the mild is not at all spicy. (Medium is a true medium and is juuuust right.) If you need a filling meal for about $10 in less than an hour, this is your place!

Came here due to a preferred thai place being closed. Lady who sat us and served us was unbelievably rude. She rushed us to order even though we were aiding our individuals with looking over the menu. When my food came out I knew I wouldnt like it and she assured me that it would be great. It was not great and I told her I wouldn't eat it. She was out right refusing to change my order. She then stated she would give me beef fried rice, because she couldnt re serve the food because I "ate" off the plate. That is very disturbing to me. I would never come back here!

Got the order wrong. What should have been spicy was mild, and the one I wanted to be mild was spicy.

Not very pleasant, but service is fast for to-go orders. My food was ready in less than five minutes. Their Pad Thai tastes different from most Thai restaurants. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing. It depends on what you like. I'm not a fan. They sent me away with a fork and didn't bother to ask if I wanted chopsticks. Personally, I don't eat noodles without chopsticks. So, that was a little annoying. Thankfully, I have plenty at home. The Thai tea tastes great, but the to-go cup is really small. Had I known before paying, I would have ordered two. You likely get more when eating in.

Really good food and very nice staff. When they say spicy they mean spicy for sure. Their medium version of drunken noodles was great. Their curry with coconut curry we so smooth.

I only eat pad thai chicken it is consistently good. Many times i go to a new thai restraunt and am disappointed. This place is worth the trip! I would be surprised if the rest of the menu was any different than my meal. I
