Warm, wood-lined spot offering classic Thai dishes & creative fusion plates, plus beer & wine.
Food was delicious and came out hot. The server was very quick and attentive. I like what they are doing with the atmosphere, but in my opinion, it is sticky, a little less sanitary and the air quality in the restaurant seemed stuffy. Maybe a few air purifiers in the restaurant might help ? Photo 1: chicken pad thai . Photo 2: Hawaiian fried rice . Photo 3: shrimp & vegetable tempura
Not sure if this place is considered a hidden gem given it's high rating, but this place was incredible! There is only street parking, unless there was more parking I didn't notice. The entrance of the restaurant is a steep set of stairs downward, but colorfully decorated. It is a mix of a bar and restaurant. Inside seating is a bit limited but it looks like they also had outdoor seating.. the chairs were a lot more comfortable than it they looked. The service was great. But the food was superb!! For appetizers we had the Thai beef (I'm spacing out on the name) and coconut crusted tofu. Both were generous in portion size and were large enough to be a meal. For entrees, we had lo mein and Pad See Ew. Both were, again, large portions. The beef was fatty and very flavorful. All the food was superb in flavor and quality. We had a wonderful experience and will absolutely return.
Pretty unique Thai restaurant. Intimate, eclectic interior, chicken drunken noodles were phenomenal, perfect level of spiciness for flavor.
First time visit on 10/21/23 was a pretty interesting experience. It was Friday at 11:45pm, we were the only customers dining there, and their hours were until 1:30am. The lighting inside was very dim. An older gentleman was performing karaoke the whole time, it was fun listening to him. Our server was exceptionally friendly and kept encouraging us to sing karaoke, bringing out the massive catalog of songs to place on our table. However, we were tired from a long drive and just wanted to eat. I'm sure it would've been a great time had we been in the mood for it. The wait for the food was ~20min. It arrived on large, uniquely shaped plates. Portions were filling and incredibly delicious. To me, it was exactly worth the price.
I haven't been here in a long time. I forgot how nice this place is. The food is really good and the staff was friendly. The prices are also affordable and a great value. I can't recommend this place enough.
Last Friday, I took my girlfriend to a restaurant I used to go to. I ordered Japanese food, roll on top with flower , and a salad of spicy salad with salmon and tuna. I felt that this food was not fresh. I was disappointed by order Japanese food at Thai restaurants. 🤮🤮🤮
The food here is phenomenal. It was so hard to pick a dish to order because everything sounded so good. I ended up with the crispy chicken and noodles, and it was superb! We started with the duck roll and that was delicious as well. I wish I had pictures but it was so tasty that it was gone before I thought about it! I do think our server was either clumsy or a bit inexperienced, as there were several spills (of both food and beverage) but otherwise was a stellar experience! Highly recommend.
Best bar in Richmond. Great food, even better cocktails. 1000/10
Awesome hidden gem, best noodles in RVA.
Such a neat place. Been twice this far and had probably driven right past it several times never even noticing it was there. The cocktails are amazing and I love that they serve the whole food menu late.
The service was good. Everything I tasted had good flavor. My issue is that there was hardly any meat in my food even though I paid a $7 upcharge specifically FOR MEAT. My dish was mostly rice, sauce and vegetables in that order. But that is not what I paid $7 for, I paid extra for MEAT. Disappointing.
The best sun dried beef in Richmond! The chicken wings are really good. I love the karoke on Saturdays and the atmosphere.
Got takeout from there, recently as well as several times in the past. We used to have a big problem with items being left out of takeout orders, but everything was there this time. Great food as always!
We waited 30 min. For food. Then people that arrived after us got their food. We left. The bartender was nice.
I visit here every time I'm in Richmond. Great ambience & exceptional Thai food.
This was my first time trying this restaurant out and it truly disappointed. We ordered 4 drinks an app and 2 entrees. It took 15min per drink, 30 for the app, and the entree never came. The waitress advised us to remove the entree and close out our tab because it would be an additional 30min on top of the hour we had already waited. Very disappointed because we had high hopes after being referred to this place. What started as a nice date night ended up as a trip to a gas station for food.
Out of all the great Thai spots in RVA, this is the one that keeps me coming back. The cozy feel to this establishment is unlike anywhere else in the city. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and kind. They’re constantly trying new concepts, and there’s so much to explore with their menu. Their whiskey collection is insane, and their bartenders know their stuff. Perfect spot for a dinner for one, or for small intimate groups.
Good food. Excellent bar and bartender!
Lots of different kinds of bourbon.
Fantastic food at a reasonable price with great service and ambiance.
Food is always 10/10. Don’t go anywhere else if you want great Thai
I had the most delicious wonton soup here❤️
Food was delicious. The drinks were soo delicious and the bartender girl with the curly hair and slim waist and pretty face was also delicious. Will definitely be back for the hot bartender and food. 10/10
Wonderful meal and bourbon selection is excellent. Will definitely be back.
Great food and cocktails at a reasonable price!
Great spot with classic Richmond atmosphere - quaint and unique. The cocktails were on point and the bartender was super knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. If you are looking for a nice local experience and great Thai food, this might be your answer!
Great food , awesome flavors great service wonderful experience,to bad the monuments where not in there places....but the restaurant is a outstanding experience and even btr food an dranks.....!!!
Such a vibe!! The atmosphere is topnotch, so cozy and inviting. The food is stellar, and the service is quick and polite! We split the drunken fried rice and crispy rolls. Left full and satisfied.
GREAT PLACE to try BOURBON

Me and my friends for our regular meet ups always try to go here just for the bartender Josh. Not only does he have an amazing energy and gives us a fun engaging experience everytime he also crafts the best cocktails we’ve ever had and it’s unique every time. We will continue coming back just for him highly recommend him to anyone looking for both a great cocktail and a great experience to match.
Tiny little indoor venue with cosy seating. Food was very good.

my noodle is always my favorite to order take out from, but stopped by for lunch today on a whim. very chill inside, the bartender i believe his name was Zach, was really welcoming and attentive. the mojito was just what i needed & the pad thai on point, per usual. thanks my noodle, you never disappoint! 🍜
Good old style Thai Restaurant
WE NEED MORE LATE NIGHT THAI OPTIONS IN RICHMOND. YALL ARE THE BEST. 💗💗💗
For years now this stands as the best Thai place in the city, and that I’ve ever had. Nothing mediocre about it. From the food to the service, it’s phenomenal…every-single-time.
Great bourbon collection. We'll definitely be back!
Absolutely amazing food! Food is cooked fresh, so it does take a while to get your food.
Karaoke at 10:30pm on Friday.
I never visit the city without stopping by this place. I have never had such incredible hospitality from any staff anywhere, and the food is something I dream about. Really, really, outstanding.
Best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in my life.
Really good place and the waiters are nice.
Genuinely amazing in food, service and atmosphere. I never give reviews but this place deserves it. The food was great quality, there was a good amount of it, and didn’t take very long to come. Service was respectful and caring throughout and lastly the vibes were immaculate. Chill music with chill theming and workers around the restaurant. I 100% would go again.
One of the greatest Thai places I've been to. The food was amazing, the vibe was certainly unique but also very welcoming. The service was absolutely wonderful. My server was very quick and polite. I will absolutely be revisiting this place the next time I'm in Richmond.
Excellent food and great choices for cocktails.
Ate herr with my gf had a nice meal funny lil place very cozy food was on point only thing i didn't like was the silly qr code menus il never get use to that . But other than that server was nice had a good time 😻🤤
Been here a few times, unfortunately the food is pretty inconsistent and quite expensive for what you get. There are better options for food but definitely not a bad spot to get a drink and late night bite, the atmosphere is comfy. This place has my favorite seating in the city - there’s a booth with a privacy veil in the middle of the restaurant that is amazing.
the thai tea is amazing and i love the booths in here, however it is a little overpriced and the food could be better, occasionally lacks flavor especially when its busy.
Horrible service never coming back
They don’t return emails and do t answer phone calls.
We’ve had a great streak of food here. Hopefully just electronic issues but the phone number doesn’t work and the website ordering system keeps failing.
A lot of Thai places in RVA but they don't do it like my noodle and bar. At the other Thai places I've worked at. It has lost my taste in Thai food. Untill I came to my noodle and bar. You want the best Thai food. You come to my noodle and bar. The cocktails are just more amazing than the food. Come check it out y'all.
Food was delicious and our server Isabel was lovely and gave us great recommendations
Everything was delicious, I loved the crispy pork belly and their branzini fish!
Great food, fun atmosphere, bad service. My Noodle has been a long-time go-to for yummy Thai food, and a total life-saver for late night eats, but if you expect to receive your meal in a timely manner you will be disappointed. Be prepared to hang out for a while before eating, and if you're ordering pickup don't rush to get there within the given preparation time. Otherwise it's a super cute spot for consistently tasty food.
Pretty unique Thai restaurant. Intimate, eclectic interior, chicken drunken noodles were phenomenal, perfect level of spiciness for flavor.

Awesome little noodle spot. Not pricey for the area but it’s on the higher side. Drunken noodles were delicious, drinks were good. Great spot with a cool atmosphere.
server with black hair, isabelle, was super rude, food was very good and atmosphere was nice
This place is so cool! I love the seating layout. The food is super tasty and they make a killer mojito. I had a great time at karaoke on Saturday night! Can't wait to go back.
One of my favorite restaurants in Richmond. I love the atmosphere and food!
My Noodle Bar, is quite an eclectic experience! It's kind of a love it or hate it place. We, for what it's worth, love it. Is it the absolute best, no. Is it good, absolutely! Depending on who you get as a server the time that you will wait can and will vary. Don't look for scratch kitchen quick fire service. Not going to happen. You go to enjoy yourself and soak in some atmosphere. The bar is always on point with good and affordable drinks.
Not overly expensive. Pretty good value for your money.
It's our daughter's favorite place! If you just want a good time and to relax.... This is the place for you!
Have eaten here regularly ever since they’ve opened and can say they have the best Thai food in the city…however the customer service and prices are disproportionate. One cocktail and an entree costs you $35?! This isn’t DC or NYC…Their dishes cost on average $2-5 more than they do elsewhere in the city. Service is slow at best (wait 20min on average to get someone to take an order when we sit outside, once order is in the food comes quickly usually though). Have noticed their turnover for employees is quite high which doesn’t seem like a good thing. Try the femme fatale if you want a really interesting cocktail, but be prepared to pay $14 for it.
Ordered a "Wonton Soup" and it doesn't come with wontons, on the menu says, "Chicken Wonton Soup". $14 for a basic "wonton" soup that doesn't have wonton in it, doesn't seem worth it at all.
Good food. Nice staff.
Great time at Friday Karaoke! The bartender, Zach did a wonderful job serving my friends and I. Everything was delicious.
Amazing ambiance, flavor, menu, everything. Definitely worth coming I promise you. Lower prices for lunch as well.
Came in to Richmond to have dinner with my niece. She suggested My Noodle & Bar, which was a quick walk from her place. One of the draws was, "They have some cute cocktails."
I don't know about cute, but the one I had, Khao San Rd, was pretty potent!
She ordered Bangkok chicken, and I got my go-to, Panang Curry with chicken. Both selections had 🌶🌶 next to them, and it was spot on. For me, just the right amount.
My Noodle & Bar is in the "basement" with wide stairs leading down from the street. The interior is eclectic and a little funky. A really cool vibe. Intimate little seating areas with a couple stools at the bar. Definitely not a place to go with a large group; I think even 6 would be pushing it.
Fun little place with good food and drinks.
Food was amazing, and the owner came to our table to ensure what we ordered was what we wanted and even checked on us throughout our meal. She was more attentive than our server. Will definitely come back.
Placed an order to go and got it within 20 minutes.even though they were fairly busy. Definitely will order again
Cool spot on a warm afternoon for drinks and apps. Pork dumplings and Thai Sundried Beef salad were refreshing takes on these dishes. Recommended.
The red curry here is incredible (I get the chicken with it and my husband gets beef). I don't typically enjoy spicy food and I thoroughly enjoy it every time. The portion size is plentiful and you can ask for more rice. My husband and I take leftovers home and it easily lasts for another meal.
Food was overpriced for what it is. Great environment though! It’s worth a try, but unfortunately won’t be back.
The Asian tacos are still on my mind lol. 2 come with your order and they come loaded and so good! The Bangkok Chicken was delicious. The Pad Prik King was good as well. But I find it difficult to mess Prik King up. I asked for Thai spicy however I didn’t feel much heat. They did bring additional spices for me to add as I needed.
This place was intimate and cozy. I went with my daughter but this is adorable for a date lunch/ night too. The staff were very friendly. Great customer service! I will definitely be back on my next visit to Richmond.
Treat Staff Poorly, there are plenty of better places for Thai food in Richmond
Literally the best thai food I’ve EVER had I can’t rec this place enough
Very warm and interesting place to dinning in! From the moment I walked in, I was charmed by the cozy and intimate atmosphere! The plate that used for every dish was visually stunning and interesting! Dishes are very delicious and flavorful. just Pad Thai was on bittersweet side! Overall, love it! Go with friends and enjoy it!
Very busy spot, and tight fit inside on a Saturday night but food is really good. Chicken satay and Brussels sprouts were my favorite. Portions might seem on the small side compared to other Thai restaurants.
this is my go to spot for a good meal, fun drinks, and amazing atmosphere! staff is attentive and bartenders are funny and personable. happy hour you can buy a drink and get one half off seated at the bar and they’re to die for!! food is always fresh and great presentation
A small but popular place to eat and drink. My Pad Thai was very good and everyone in my party (10) enjoyed their meals as well. Not expensive and the quality is excellent.
They didn’t save our reservation that was made a week in advance and after calling ahead the day of.
Service was awful. We were made to wait outside(cold and really windy) for 1 hour after our reservation time. They promised to serve us while we waited but nothing came of it. Once we were finally sat inside the restaurant, our waiter was inattentive and rude and would disappear for long periods of time. He gave us our appetizers and immediately dashed away without giving us any utensils. He came around every once in a while to see the table next to us, we tried very hard to get his attention about the missing utensils (we quite literally yelled) but he ignored and dashed away (this happened at least 4 times). I had to track down the host to even get some and apparently they were out and would roll some for us.
When the food finally came, it was standard thai food you’d get anywhere else (just half the portion). Was not worth this fiasco.
Do not order take out, they skimp you. The portion was half of what you get when u dine in. My chicken pad Thai was said to be $12 online but the total came out to $17. Not even that good for the price either.
Unique setting. Great food!
Best Thai food I have had in years. We had the Brussels sprouts and the coconut tofu for appetizers and the red and masaman curry (both vegan) for lunch. Everything was super delicious- can’t say enough. Place is also cute and downstairs so feels cozy and nice if a bit drafty
Such a cute place and the food here is amazing! I’m gluten free and vegetarian and there are so many options on the menu if you have dietary restrictions! 10/10 recommend their pad thai too!
Totally loved it. The food was awesome and so we’re the cocktails.
Got food poisoning :(
Nice hole in the wall!
My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our time there. It was a whole experience, from the appetizer, to the drinks and then the entrée. I will recommend getting the Pad Thai noodles and the Lo Mein along with the Brussel Sprouts. If you drink alcohol, definitely get the Love Fool or the Thai 75. However, as a bourbon drinker or just a whiskey guy I really enjoyed the Mexican Manhattan. A nice twist the bartender had using añejo tequila instead of rye. 10/10 !
made me feel like a little fairy dining there. loved the decor. The food was good too. best thai tea ever.
Great Atmosphere. Great Food. Great Service.
The food is worth half the price it costs. We got chicken with veggies and fried rice and it costs $41. It tasted average. Extremely overpriced.
Excellent place to eat food I love the service but the parking oh my God get ready to drive around and figure that out but it was worth it
The Red Curry is AMAZING.
This place is soooooo dankkk. Dankity dank. Really cool atmosphere. If you ever need to bring friends out to eat in Richmond, bring them here. They will be amazed and marveled. I’m not even kidding. I can’t stop thinking about this place. I’ll take pictures next time.
Just ordered food from here on DoorDash and found a literal piece of some kind of stone in my food. Worst part is I found it by biting down on it which was painful and I’m worried I either cracked a filling or damaged my tooth. I have no clue how a literal rock gets in your food, but I won’t be ordering from here again after experiencing that and seeing another review about health hazards in the kitchen. 🤢
Found this cute little hole in the wall and I’m so glad we did! Our waitress was amazing, (I forgot her name, but she had on the BEST cowboy outfit that was to die for) and the food was great too! My first time trying Pad Thai and it was so good and the size was good for the price as well!
Amazing Asian food… we tried what the chef recommended she loved every dish because it was unique and well cooked and most importantly tasted Awesome… so try the beef entree and the Lo Mein Noodles along with Garlic Dish and Ginger dish you will simply love it… the best part is that it is open till 11:30 pm… they have bubble tea’s as well…
Lovely place. Especially the outside seating is beautiful. However inside is a little on the cramped side and during peaks, you might be sitting shoulder to shoulder to other patrons. I really hate this so that's why I took a point.
Otherwise.. I got the red curry which I think is hard to screw up so, definitely satisfied. But from what I can tell, several of thier menu items are winners.
Parking blows though, so set aside at least 15mins to find good street parking unless you come at odd hours.😅
Will definitely return.
Got takeout and food was horrible the only edible item was tofu soup, drunken noodle was bitter and salty, coconut milk soup was equally as salty and pad Thai had bitter tofu yet again… overall $67 down the trash can it went. Literally, never had I thrown an entire container of fresh food into a can and yet here we are… ugh never again noodle bar!
The food is great! The drinks are great! The atmosphere cannot be beat! The staff is amazing! I would move to Richmond for this place.
I cannot say enough great things about this place - the food, ambiance, service, portions, everything is incredible. I eat from here on a bi-weekly basis both pick up and dine in and am consistently pleased. This is a great option for vegan/vegetarian people as the menu accommodates both. My personal favorites are the calamari and and red curry with tofu.
One of the best authentic Thai places in Richmond. Very authentic, fresh ingredients, and well spiced. Very cool atmosphere as well.
Atmosphere is funky. Food is outstanding. Cocktails are creative and delicious.
Food is amazing but that doesn’t mean anything when the customer service is terrible. Especially when you accidentally order something that has peanuts in it and you have a peanut allergy. the waiter tells you you have to keep/eat it because that’s what your ordered then proceeded to stick his hand in the food to remove the peanut sauce which also touched the food itself. I understand the time it took to make the food and would have gladly paid for it due to it being my mistake but the refusal to take the item off the table is extremely uncalled for. I told the waiter I did not mean to order it and he still insist he wouldn’t take it back for what I actually wanted. truthfully it was a mix up on the menu when I ordered. We ended up asking for the manager and she replaced the food with the items I wanted but the back and forth with the waiter is crazy to me. Im sadden by this because the food here is really great I hope in the future they can have better service. I see in the past they had problems with their staff.
Very solid Thai food with great atmosphere
I have been here no less than forty times, the walls are concrete with chipped paint and gold glitter, it’s in the basement of a former hospital. Don’t ever rent above my noodle as long as Landmark is the leasing company.
Life is about highs and lows, carbohydrates and liquor. I have a lot of memories here, I’m at the bar now. I ordered the Sabai cocktail, I’m excited to receive it. The bartender Jared is wearing a cowboy style cap with a feather and a button that says, and I quote “I love your mom”. This is nice but I still hope it all ends soon
One of Richmond's finest restaurants with A+ food, drinks, atmosphere and service. It's that simple.
Very unique and comfortable environment. Food is very decent
Spring rolls are delicious!
Food was good! AC not working very well, quite warm inside.
Cozy atmosphere, nice service, amazing drunken noodle and fried rice
Always delicious, decent prices, average service.
Dined here on a night when my wife was out of town and decided to take myself out solo. Sat at the bar on what looked to be a relatively slow Saturday night. Service was pretty slow, but once they were caught up, things seemed to go smoothly. Whisky selection was very impressive: aged, small batch, Japanese, Irish, scotch, etc.. After a solid bourbon, I ordered crunchy rolls and pad see ew. Food was relatively bland, but by no means, bad. Would try this again, but I’d change my food order.
