They cook magic, not food, but the service of people they hire in the register is extremely poor.
Most of them are not patient, kindness you can forget about and they are visible angry and they don't hide that,because they talking very fast,incomprehensible and last time when I make order to wait and take home in last 2 min I wanted to give up,because the girl was too much rude and unpleasant even I left tips $10-15,i thought this is no no.
But the people from the kitchen, when they came out for a second, my God they have a smile and personality like small sunshines 🌞

Uber eats and food was okay but portion size for the minced chicken is very small for the price. The white rice and mined chicken in same container and usually separate at other Thai restaurants. Pad Thai was regular sized

I usually order Crazy Thai by delivery and it's amazingly fast. The tofu is always well cooked and fresh. They have also not raised their prices in a noticeable way over the years. Great quality for the price.

Ordered Uber Eats from this restaurant. We received Tyson’s frozen wings, cooked in the oven. There was nothing Crazy about these wings. What was Crazy was the fact they tried to pass off Tyson wings as Thai. Given the fact the wings were indeed store bought, I’m certain the fried spring rolls were frozen, too. They lacked flavor, weren’t fresh, didn’t taste good at all. If they try to say anything counter to this, I will never order anything from this spot, ever again. I don’t trust the quality nor the authenticity.

Came here w a friend a couple of days ago. The red curry was delicious, perfect amount of spice and tasted delicious the day after when I brought my leftovers for lunch to work! Our server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back soon!

I placed a pick up order for a vegetable pad Thai with level, four spice, extra snow peas, and extra peanuts. I was there to pick it up 10 minutes later, and my food was ready. one of the best pad dishes I’ve had. the vegetables are cooked perfectly with a nice crunch to them, and the spice level is amazing, I wish I lived in Richmond so that I could come back here again!

This was my first time trying Crazy Thai. Had some issues getting through on the phone to place a to go order - the phone was answered then immediately hung-up. After that happened the third time I was about to give up but decided to give it one more try. That time someone answered and spoke to me. I'm glad I hung in there. Ordered the steamed chicken dumplings, green papaya salad, softshell crabs with curry and mango sticky rice, for pick-up. The folks were friendly when I got there. All of the dishes I had were very good. The curry sauce with the crabs was definitely the best part of the meal. The fried softshell crabs were cooked perfectly, although, only having two was a bit miserly, and three would have made it more of an entrée. I will definitely be trying other dishes. There are Thai places closer to me but if some of my other favorites are as good as what I had I will be happily go the extra mile to Crazy Thai.

Going to start with the good to provide my honest feedback in hopes that this establishment sees the opportunity to improve their food.

Pro: the wings were delicious along with the curry puffs.

Cons: the pad Thai was bad! Really bad. It smelled awful and it had absolutely no taste. Did not taste authentic at all. Tasted like they slapped noodles in a wok with a lot of other things and just started whipping it around. Honestly you guys have to do better. If this was your go to menu item then the bar is set really low at this restaurant. Seriously I don’t know how anybody could enjoy it. It smelled off.

Conclusion: appetizers were good. Would stay away from anything with noodles or seafood as it has a very pungent smell and weird taste.

The good:
Vegetables were fresh.
Vegetables were diced nicely.
Chicken on soup was cut thin and fresh.
They packed food nicely.

The bad:
The soup was lousy. Very watery, no flavor, mushrooms were raw and very oily.

Garden rolls were badly wrapped in plastic and not even wrapped well. Very thin, awful presentation.

Pad Thai was 3 slices of carrots ( I counted), 2 pieces of broccoli, 5 pieces of tofu, 2 snap peas and about 3 pounds of pasta on a mediocre red sauce. Peanuts on the side, lime slice. That's it. Portions overall are small, definitely not worth $11.95

Pad See Ew was flavorless and only 5 pieces of broccoli along with disgusting pieces of pasta stuck together and 7 pieces of meat. The sauce was ugly, had no flavor.

Conclusion: Will never be back, wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save your money go elsewhere.

Okay so I’m writing this review because I ordered from them earlier this week and I asked for it to be Thai hot/their spiciest level, and it was really delicious! But I have a very high spice tolerance so honestly Thai hot is usually not spicy enough for me and I say this about every other Thai place in the city. Anyway just I ordered from them and I was like “hey can i make it spicier?” And they made it honestly the perfect spice level so I really need to give them credit.

I ordered the (chicken & shrimp) Panang Curry soup, SO FREAKING GOOD. Honestly it’s just the right amount of spicy and cream and whatever they put in it !!!! I feel comfortable by saying this is one of the best soups I ever had. Wow!!! I am considering robbing them of this recipe, worth the jail time lmfao

I don't like my teeth crunching on egg-shells when eating egg fried rice! I would've enjoyed the Seafood curry that came with the Fried Rice (my personal preference), but because I was tasting a few white egg-shells, I had to spit the food out! Be careful how you handle those eggs, someone could get sick!

One of our family favorites. The Pad See Ew is really good. The first couple of times we got the Tom Yum soup it was as good as we ever had anywhere in the US, but the last two times the broth has been watery. The curry puffs, Thai fried rice, and of course the drunken noodles are excellent.

My favorite takeout Thai! I am obsessed with their fried rice, normally getting the Crazy Thai Fried Rice, level 4 spicy and fried tofu. They really nail it here with the tofu, as it is cooked *just* right! The thai iced tea is also really refreshing. I recommend this place to anyone!

I ordered shrimp / chicken / beef pad thai about 45 minutes after they opened and my food still tasted old. When I picked it up it was hot but the noodles were dry and the beef was tough and dry and made an audible thunk when it hit the plate. I tried it because it's very close to me (5min.)and in my neighborhood but I will drive to my favorite spot now on. They're cheaper and it's still worth the 25 minute round trip drive

This place SLAPS! Let me tell you, everything I've had here is AMAZING! I'm a big fan of Thai cuisine and while I'm no food critic I believe this is some of the best Thai food I've ever had. I usually get their pad thai with veggies and tofu. I love how the carrots are cut into cute little stars! The tofu in the dish is light and spongey but not weighed down with oil like fried tofu can be.
And their tea is to die for! I don't know what they put in it but that Thai iced tea but it's perfectly creamy and delightful and sometimes I just stop in to grab one when I'm nearby.
AND they are efficient and quickly get out your order! While I don't order during rushes I can place my order and have it ready in under 15 mins.
AND they're reasonably priced and cheaper than other nearby Thai places.

Delicious! I ordered Thai Fried Rice with pork, crazy wings, and spring rolls for delivery and everything was perfect, down to the sauces that came on the side! Highly recommended.

Soooo delicious, I got the pad thai and it was very flavorful with a balanced peanut sauce. My dish also came with some lime and bean sprouts with grated peanuts to add a crunch. 10/10 would eat here again!!

Spring rolls, Panang curry, and egg fried rice were excellent.

The edamame had absolutely no seasoning. Pad See Ew was somewhat sweet, but basically had no flavor and the noodles were overcooked.
